Technical Field

[0003] The present application relates to the technical field of thermal management of energy storage devices, and in particular to a liquid cooling system, energy storage devices, energy storage systems, and charging networks. Background Art

[0004] With the continuous development of green energy technologies, energy storage devices that can store and release electrical energy are becoming widely used. Energy storage batteries generate a large amount of heat during the charging and discharging process. If this heat is not discharged in a timely manner, the battery may overheat and pose safety risks such as fire and explosion. Therefore, thermal management of energy storage batteries is necessary to ensure their safety and stability.

[0005] At present, for battery thermal management of energy storage equipment, traditional air cooling methods can no longer meet the efficiency and space requirements.

[0006] Summary of the Invention

[0007] The embodiments of the present application provide a liquid cooling system, energy storage device, energy storage system, and charging network, which, through the modular structural design of the modular liquid cooling system, can perform efficient and energy-saving thermal management of the energy storage device.

[0008] In a first aspect, the present application provides a liquid cooling system that can be used to thermally manage a battery module of an energy storage device. The liquid cooling system has a refrigerant circuit, in which a second working medium circulates. The liquid cooling system also includes a thermal management module, a heat dissipation module, and a fluorine pump module. The thermal management module includes two liquid cooling interfaces and two refrigeration interfaces. The first working medium circulates between the two liquid cooling interfaces, and the two liquid cooling interfaces are used to connect to a load, so that a coolant circuit for the first working medium to circulate is formed between the thermal management module and the load. The two refrigeration interfaces are connected in series to the refrigerant circuit, so that the second working medium can circulate through the thermal management module via the two refrigeration interfaces. The first working medium can be considered as a coolant, and the second working medium can be considered as a refrigerant. When the first working medium and the second working medium flow through the thermal management module simultaneously, the first working medium and the second working medium can exchange heat in the thermal management module. The heat dissipation module includes two heat dissipation interfaces, which are connected in series to the refrigerant circuit. The heat dissipation module can exchange heat between the second working medium and the external environment. The fluorine pump module includes two fluorine pump interfaces, which are connected in series to the refrigerant circuit. The fluorine pump module is connected between the thermal management module and the heat dissipation module. The fluorine pump assembly can increase the circulation rate of the second working fluid. During the operation of the liquid cooling system, the fluorine pump module and the heat dissipation module can cooperate to heat or cool the load through heat exchange between the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit and the first working fluid in the coolant circuit, thereby achieving thermal management of the load. The fluorine pump module can also adapt to a wider variety of refrigerants to be compatible with the environmental evolution of refrigerants.

[0009] The aforementioned liquid cooling system's thermal management module, heat dissipation module, and fluorine pump module all feature modular structures. The internal structure allows for both structural and functional integration, resulting in an integrated design that facilitates spatial layout. Each module can function as an independent functional unit, operating independently or integrated through interfaces into a coolant or refrigerant circuit. This improves the liquid cooling system's thermal efficiency. Furthermore, the fluorine pump assembly offers the advantage of high energy efficiency, further enhancing the liquid cooling system's operational efficiency.

[0010] In some possible implementations, the liquid cooling system also includes a compressor, which is connected between the thermal management module and the heat dissipation module. The compressor can cool or heat the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit. In order to cooperate with the compressor so that the compressor can cooperate with the fluorine pump module and the heat exchange module to achieve different operating modes, the liquid cooling system also includes a reversing valve module, and the reversing valve group includes a first interface, a second interface, a third interface and a fourth interface. The first interface and the second interface are connected to the refrigerant circuit, and the compressor is connected to the third interface and the fourth interface respectively, wherein the reversing valve group is used to control the flow direction of the second working medium.

[0011] The reversing valve module may include a first bypass valve, one end of which is connected to the first port and the third port, respectively, and the other end of which is connected to the second port and the fourth port, respectively. The first bypass valve is connected in parallel to both ends of the compressor. The first bypass valve and the compressor provide two liquid flow paths between the first port and the second port. The flow direction and path of the second working medium are adjusted by regulating the first bypass valve.

[0012] Furthermore, the reversing valve module also includes a four-way valve. The four-way valve includes a first port, a second port, a third port, a fourth port and a valve core. The first port is connected to the first interface, the second port is connected to the third interface, the third port is connected to the fourth interface, and the fourth port is connected to the second interface. The four-way valve has a first state and a second state, and the valve core can be movably arranged in the four-way valve to control the four-way valve to switch between the first state and the second state. When the four-way valve is in the first state, the first port and the second port are connected, and the third port and the fourth port are connected. When the four-way valve is in the second state, the first port and the fourth port are connected, and the second port and the third port are connected. In specific implementation, the four-way valve can also be implemented through other structures and combinations, as long as the liquid cooling system can switch different operating modes according to demand.

[0013] In one possible implementation, the fluorine pump module includes a fluorine pump connected between two fluorine pump interfaces. The fluorine pump can efficiently drive the second working fluid to circulate and exchange heat with the first working fluid, thereby improving heat dissipation efficiency.

[0014] Furthermore, the fluorine pump module can also include a second bypass valve, with its two ends connected to the two fluorine pump interfaces, effectively being connected in parallel to the two ends of the fluorine pump. When the liquid cooling system also includes other modules that drive a second working fluid circulation, the fluorine pump module, combined with the second bypass valve, can achieve a bypass function for the fluorine pump.

[0015] In one possible implementation, the thermal management module includes a water pump and a first heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger includes a first pipeline and a second pipeline. The water pump and the first pipeline are connected in series between two liquid cooling ports, and the ends of the second pipeline are connected to the two cooling ports. When a first working fluid flows through the first pipeline and a second working fluid flows through the second pipeline, the first working fluid can exchange heat with the second working fluid, achieving heat exchange between the coolant circuit and the refrigerant circuit.

[0016] In one possible implementation, the thermal management module also includes a dehumidification module, with two refrigeration ports connected at either end. The dehumidification module can be considered connected in parallel to both ends of the first heat exchanger. When the air temperature within the energy storage device is below the dew point, the dehumidification module condenses moisture in the energy storage device into water, reducing the humidity within the energy storage device.

[0017] Among them, a second throttle valve is provided between the dehumidification module and the refrigeration interface for connecting the fluorine pump module, and the second throttle valve is used to control the flow rate of the second working medium flowing through the dehumidification module.

[0018] In one possible implementation, the thermal management module further includes an electric heating component that can be connected in series between the two liquid cooling interfaces to access the coolant circuit. When heating of the load is required, the electric heating component can directly heat the first working fluid.

[0019] In one possible implementation, a first throttle valve is provided between the first heat exchanger and the refrigeration interface for connecting to the fluorine pump module, and the first throttle valve can adjust the flow of the second working medium flowing through the second pipeline.

[0020] In one possible implementation, the heat dissipation module includes a second heat exchanger and a fan. Both ends of the second heat exchanger are connected to the heat dissipation interface, and the fan is disposed on one side of the second heat exchanger. When the second working fluid in the second heat exchanger exchanges heat with ambient air, activating the fan can increase the flow rate of the ambient air and improve the heat exchange efficiency of the second heat exchanger.

[0021] In a second aspect, the present application provides an energy storage device comprising at least one battery module and any one of the liquid cooling systems provided in the first aspect above. Each battery module is connected to two liquid cooling ports at each end, with the battery module acting as a load. The liquid cooling system can adopt different operating modes based on varying ambient temperatures to thermally manage the battery module, offering the advantages of high integration, energy efficiency, and high efficiency.

[0022] Specifically, each battery module includes batteries and a liquid cooling plate. The liquid cooling plate's liquid inlet and outlet are connected to two liquid cooling ports, respectively. The liquid cooling plate is in thermal contact with the batteries. A coolant circuit is formed between the liquid cooling system's thermal management module and the liquid cooling plate. As the first working fluid flows through the liquid cooling plate, it exchanges heat with the batteries, achieving thermal management of the batteries.

[0023] In a possible implementation, the energy storage device is a device such as an electrical cabinet, and the energy storage device further includes a cabinet body, in which at least one battery module and a liquid cooling system are accommodated.

[0024] In a third aspect, the present application further provides an energy storage system comprising the energy storage device provided in the second aspect. The energy storage system further comprises a power generation device and a power conversion device, wherein the power conversion device is connected between the power generation device and the energy storage device, and the power generation device is configured to store the generated electrical energy through the power conversion device into a battery module in the energy storage device.

[0025] In a fourth aspect, the present application also provides a charging network, which may include a charging pile and the energy storage device provided in the second aspect above, wherein the charging pile is electrically connected to a battery module in the energy storage device, and the battery module is used to provide electrical energy to the charging pile.

[0061] Thermal management of batteries in energy storage systems is crucial for ensuring their safety and stability. Traditional air cooling methods cannot meet the energy storage efficiency and equipment space requirements. With technological advancements, liquid cooling is being used for battery thermal management in energy storage systems. However, current liquid cooling systems suffer from low integration and insufficient thermal management efficiency.

[0062] Based on this, the present invention provides a liquid cooling system, energy storage device, energy storage system, and charging network for battery thermal management in energy storage devices. This system improves liquid cooling efficiency by adding a fluorine pump module. The modular design of the liquid cooling system allows each module to function as an independent functional unit, facilitating structural integration and spatial design, and improving the system's thermal management efficiency.

[0063] In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of this application clearer, this application will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0064] The terms used in the following embodiments are only for the purpose of describing specific embodiments and are not intended to limit the present application. As used in the specification and appended claims of this application, the singular expressions "a", "an", "said", "above", "the", and "this" are intended to also include expressions such as "one or more", unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

[0065] References to "one embodiment" or "some embodiments" in this specification mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in conjunction with that embodiment is included in one or more embodiments of the present application. Thus, phrases such as "in one embodiment," "in some embodiments," "in other embodiments," and "in yet other embodiments" appearing in various places in this specification do not necessarily refer to the same embodiment, but rather mean "one or more but not all embodiments," unless otherwise specifically emphasized. The terms "including," "comprising," "having," and variations thereof mean "including but not limited to," unless otherwise specifically emphasized.

[0066] An energy storage device provided in an embodiment of the present application is shown in FIG1a as a simple architecture of the energy storage device. The energy storage device includes a battery module 200 and a liquid cooling system 100 for liquid cooling and heat dissipation of the battery module 200. The battery module 200 can be considered as the entire load for thermal management of the liquid cooling system 100. The battery module 200 includes a battery 210 and a liquid cooling plate 220 in thermal contact with the battery 210. The energy storage device specifically includes a coolant circuit H1 and a refrigerant circuit H2. A first working medium circulates in the coolant circuit H1. The liquid cooling plate 220 of the battery module 200 is connected to the coolant circuit H1. The coolant circuit H1 can circulate the first working medium to the liquid cooling plate 220. The first working medium can exchange heat with the battery module 200 through the liquid cooling plate 220, thereby thermally managing the battery 210. A second working medium circulates in the refrigerant circuit H2, and the second working medium can exchange heat with the external environment. The first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 exchanges heat with the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2, thereby achieving thermal management of the battery 210. Here, the liquid cooling plate 220 can also be replaced with other types of heat exchangers, such as an immersion heat exchanger. When the liquid cooling plate 220 is an immersion heat exchanger, the battery 210 and the liquid cooling plate 220 can be integrated, that is, the battery 210 can be immersed in the first working medium within the liquid cooling plate 220.

[0067] It should be understood that the flow direction of the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 and the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 in FIG1a are merely examples, wherein the first working medium can be considered as a coolant and the second working medium can be considered as a refrigerant.

[0068] Among them, there can be one or more battery modules 200. That is to say, the energy storage device provided in the embodiment of the present application can perform thermal management for one battery module 200, or can perform thermal management for multiple battery modules 200. When the number of battery modules 200 is two, three, or more, the liquid cooling plates 220 of the multiple battery modules 200 can be connected in parallel to the coolant circuit H1 of the liquid cooling system 100. Figure 1b shows a scenario in which the liquid cooling system 100 performs thermal management on two battery modules 200 at the same time.

[0069] Based on the basic architecture of the energy storage device shown in Figures 1a and 1b, the liquid cooling system 100 in the energy storage device provided in the embodiment of the present application may have multiple implementation methods, which will be exemplified below through specific embodiments.

[0070] Example 1

[0071] As shown in FIG2a, in an energy storage device provided in an embodiment of the present application, taking the liquid cooling system 100 for thermal management of a battery module 200 as an example, the energy storage device includes a coolant circuit H1 and a refrigerant circuit H2. The structures and principles of the coolant circuit H1 and the refrigerant circuit H2 are shown in FIG1a and FIG1b. The liquid cooling system 100 includes a thermal management module 10 and a heat dissipation module 20. The thermal management module 10 includes two liquid cooling interfaces 101 and two refrigeration interfaces 102. The two liquid cooling interfaces 101 are connected in series to the coolant circuit H1. The first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 can flow through the thermal management module 10 between the two liquid cooling interfaces 101. The two refrigeration interfaces 102 are connected in series to the refrigerant circuit H2. The second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 can flow through the thermal management module 10 between the two refrigeration interfaces 102. Thermal management module 10 is used to exchange heat between coolant circuit H1 and refrigerant circuit H2. Specifically, the first working fluid and the second working fluid can exchange heat while flowing through thermal management module 10. Heat dissipation module 20 includes two heat dissipation interfaces 201, which are connected in series to refrigerant circuit H2. The second working fluid in refrigerant circuit H2 can flow through heat dissipation module 20 between the two heat dissipation interfaces 201. Heat dissipation module 20 is used to exchange heat between refrigerant circuit H2 and the environment. Specifically, the second working fluid can exchange heat while heat dissipation module 20 is in the external environment.

[0072] Specifically, as shown in Figure 2b, the thermal management module 10 includes a water pump 12 and a first heat exchanger 11. The first heat exchanger 11 includes a first pipeline 111 and a second pipeline 112. The water pump 12 and the first pipeline 111 are connected in series between two liquid cooling interfaces 101. That is, the water pump 12 and the first pipeline 111 can be connected to the coolant circuit H1 through the two liquid cooling interfaces 101, and the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 can flow through the first pipeline 111 and the water pump 12. The two ends of the second pipeline 112 are respectively connected to the two cooling interfaces 102. That is, the second pipeline 112 can be connected to the refrigerant circuit H2 through the two cooling interfaces 102, and the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 can flow through the second pipeline 112. When the first working medium flows through the first pipeline 111 and the second working medium flows through the second pipeline 112, the first working medium can exchange heat with the second working medium, achieving heat exchange between the coolant circuit H1 and the refrigerant circuit H2. Here, the first heat exchanger 11 realizes liquid-liquid heat exchange through its structure.

[0073] The heat dissipation module 20 includes a second heat exchanger 21 and a fan 22. The two ends of the second heat exchanger 21 are connected to two heat dissipation interfaces 201, respectively. This means that the second heat exchanger 21 can be connected to the refrigerant circuit H2 via the two heat dissipation interfaces 201, allowing the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 to flow through the second heat exchanger 21. The fan 22 is located outside the second heat exchanger 21, specifically on the side of the heat dissipation module 20 facing the outside. When the second working fluid in the second heat exchanger 21 exchanges heat with the ambient air, activating the fan 22 increases the flow rate of the ambient air, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency of the second heat exchanger 21. Here, the second heat exchanger 21 achieves gas-liquid heat exchange through its structure. It should be understood that the specific form of the second heat exchanger 21 can be a heater, cooler, condenser, evaporator, or other structure, depending on the specific application scenario. For example, if the function of the second heat exchanger 21 is to transfer heat from the refrigerant circuit H2 to the ambient air, the second heat exchanger 21 can specifically be a condenser.

[0074] Based on the energy storage device shown in Figure 2a, as shown in Figure 2c, the liquid cooling system 100 includes a thermal management module 10, a heat dissipation module 20, and a fluorine pump module 30. The fluorine pump module 30 includes two fluorine pump interfaces 301, which are connected in series to the refrigerant circuit H2. The fluorine pump module 30 is connected between the thermal management module 10 and the heat dissipation module 20. Under certain working conditions, the fluorine pump module 30 can provide circulation power for the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2. In the energy storage device shown in Figure 2c, the flow direction of the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 and the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 are not illustrated.

[0075] Combined with the structure of the energy storage device shown in Figure 2c, the thermal management module 10, the heat dissipation module 20 and the fluorine pump module 30 are all modular structures. In specific implementation, the structure within each module can be integrated into a shell in the form of a physical structure. The structure within the module can achieve structural integration and functional integration, realizing an integrated design, which is conducive to matching and installing with other structures for reasonable spatial layout. Each module can be used as an independent functional unit, which can not only perform operations independently, but also be connected to the coolant circuit H1 or the refrigerant circuit H2 through an interface to function in combination. For the entire energy storage device, the liquid cooling system 100 can be implemented with a modular architecture. According to different usage scenarios and requirements, suitable modules can be selected for matching and combination to improve the heat treatment energy efficiency of the liquid cooling system 100. In addition, the fluorine pump assembly 30 has the advantage of high efficiency and energy saving under some working conditions, which is conducive to further improving the operating energy efficiency of the liquid cooling system 100.

[0076] Based on the energy storage device structure shown in Figure 2c, as shown in Figure 3a, the fluorine pump module 30 includes a fluorine pump 31, and the fluorine pump 31 is connected between the two fluorine pump interfaces 301. The fluorine pump 31 can drive the second working fluid passing through the fluorine pump 31 to circulate in the refrigerant circuit H2. In the refrigerant circuit H2, the flow direction of the second working fluid is not limited. The fluorine pump 31 has the advantages of energy saving and high efficiency, and can efficiently drive the second working fluid to circulate and exchange heat with the first working fluid, thereby improving the efficiency of heat dissipation for the battery 210. The fluorine pump 31 has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, can adapt to more types of refrigerants, and is compatible with the environmental evolution of refrigerants.

[0077] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG3b , the fluorine pump module 30 includes a fluorine pump 31 and a second bypass valve 32 , which are connected in parallel between two fluorine pump interfaces 301 . The fluorine pump 31 and the second bypass valve 32 each provide a liquid channel between the two fluorine pump structures 301 of the fluorine pump module 30 . Under different operating conditions, the second bypass valve 32 can be opened or closed as needed to change the flow path of the second working fluid. Specifically, when the second bypass valve 32 is closed, the second working fluid can only flow between the two fluorine pump interfaces 301 through the fluorine pump 31 , thereby increasing the flow rate of the second working fluid. When the second bypass valve 32 is opened, the fluorine pump 31 can be closed, and the second working fluid can circulate through the second bypass valve 32 . When the liquid cooling system 100 also includes other modules that drive the circulation of the second working fluid, the fluorine pump 31 and the second bypass valve 32 of the fluorine pump module 30 can realize the bypass function of the fluorine pump 31. The second bypass valve 32 may be any valve with a shutoff function, such as a solenoid valve, a one-way valve, or a ball valve.

[0078] Figure 3c shows a variation of a liquid cooling system 100 for an energy storage device. The thermal management module 10 further includes an electric heating component 14. The electric heating component 14 may specifically include a heating resistor. When the heating resistor is powered on, it can heat the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1. For example, the electric heating component 14 is connected between the first heat exchanger 11 and one of the liquid cooling interfaces 101, which is located on the side away from the water pump 12. When the ambient temperature is low and the battery 210 needs to be heated, the electric heating component 14 can be started to heat the first working fluid. The heat of the first working fluid is transferred to the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220 to achieve heating of the battery 210. Of course, the electric heating component 14 can also be set at any position in the coolant circuit H1. When the electric heating component 14 is set on the liquid inlet side of the liquid cooling plate 220, the electric heating component 14 has a higher heating efficiency for the battery 210.

[0079] Based on the energy storage device architecture shown in FIG. 3 a to FIG. 3 c , taking the structure shown in FIG. 3 c as an example, the operation mode of the liquid cooling system 100 can be exemplarily described with reference to FIG. 4 a and FIG. 4 b .

[0080] Operation mode 1: As shown in Figure 4a, when the ambient temperature is moderate but the battery 210 needs to be cooled, the liquid cooling system 100 can manage the heat of the battery 210 through the fluorine pump 31 in the fluorine pump module 30 in cooperation with the heat dissipation module 20. Specifically, the water pump 12 is turned on, the electric heating component 14 is turned off, and the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The first working fluid removes the heat of the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220, causing the temperature of the first working fluid to rise. The second bypass valve 32 is closed, and the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 circulates under the drive of the fluorine pump 31. The second working fluid exchanges heat with the outside world through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22. In the first heat exchanger 11, the first working fluid in the first pipeline 111 and the second working fluid in the second pipeline 112 exchange heat, reducing the temperature of the first working fluid. The second working fluid takes away the heat of the first working fluid, and the first working fluid with a lower temperature continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and dissipates heat to the battery 210 through the liquid cold plate 220. The second working fluid with an increased temperature continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2 and transfers the heat to the external environment through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22, thereby dissipating heat to the battery 210. Among them, the flow direction of the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 in the first pipe 111 is opposite to the flow direction of the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 in the second pipe 112. In this operating mode, the liquid cooling system 100 can achieve natural air cooling and heat dissipation of the energy storage equipment through the cooperation of the fluorine pump module 30 and the heat dissipation module 20, which is energy-saving and efficient. In this operating mode, the structure of the second bypass valve 32 in the fluorine pump module 30 can be omitted.

[0081] Operation Mode 2: As shown in Figure 4b, when the ambient temperature is relatively low and the battery 210 needs to be heated, the circulation of the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 is terminated. The water pump 12 is turned on, and the electric heating component 14 is turned on. The first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The electric heating component 14 heats the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1. The heated first working fluid heats the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220, ensuring that the temperature of the battery 210 is at a suitable operating temperature. In this operation mode, the refrigerant circuit H2 is closed, and the battery 210 is heated in a low-temperature environment through the electric heating component 14, which is simple and efficient.

[0082] Example 2

[0083] As shown in FIG5 , in the energy storage device provided in an embodiment of the present application, compared to the architecture shown in FIG2 c , the liquid cooling system 100 further includes a compressor 40 connected between the thermal management module 10 and the heat exchange module 20. For example, the compressor 40 is connected between one end of the thermal management module 10 and the heat exchange module 20, and the fluorine pump module 30 is connected between the other end of the thermal management module 10 and the heat exchange module 20. The compressor 40 can cool the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 to lower its temperature. Alternatively, the compressor 40 can heat the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 to raise its temperature. The thermal management module 10 also includes a first throttle valve 13 connected between the second pipeline 112 of the first heat exchanger 11 and the refrigeration interface 102 for connecting to the fluorine pump module 30. The first throttle valve 13 can regulate the flow of the second working fluid through the second pipeline 112. The liquid cooling system 100 also includes a reversing valve module 50. The reversing valve module 50 includes a first interface 501, a second interface 502, a third interface 503 and a fourth interface 504. The first interface 501 and the second interface 502 are connected to the refrigerant circuit H2, and the compressor 40 is connected between the third interface 503 and the fourth interface 504 respectively. The reversing valve module 50 is used to control the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2. The compressor 40 can cool the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 to reduce the temperature of the second working medium. Alternatively, the compressor 40 can heat the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 to increase the temperature of the second working medium. The setting of the reversing valve module 50 is used to control the flow direction and path of the second working medium in the compressor 40 and the refrigerant circuit H2, so that the compressor 40 can perform different functions in different application scenarios.

[0084] FIG6 shows a schematic diagram of the specific structure of the energy storage device. Compared with FIG3c, the energy storage device shown in FIG6 adds a compressor 40 and a reversing valve module 50. The reversing valve module 50 includes a first bypass valve 51, one end of which is connected to the first port 501 and the third port 503, respectively, and the other end of the first bypass valve 51 is connected to the second port 502 and the fourth port 504, respectively. The first bypass valve 51 and the compressor 40 provide two liquid flow paths between the first port 501 and the second port 502. The second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 can flow through the first bypass valve 51 through the first port 501 and the second port 502. Through the regulation and control of the first bypass valve 51, the flow direction and path of the second working medium are regulated in cooperation with the compressor 40. Here, the first bypass valve 51 is equivalent to being connected in parallel to both ends of the compressor 40. The first bypass valve 51 can be a solenoid valve, a one-way valve, a ball valve, or other valves with a shut-off function.

[0085] Based on the energy storage device shown in FIG6 , the operation mode of the liquid cooling system 100 can be exemplarily described with reference to FIG7 a to FIG7 d .

[0086] Operation Mode 1: As shown in Figure 7a, when the ambient temperature is moderate but heat dissipation from the battery 210 is required, the liquid cooling system 100 can manage the thermal state of the battery 210 through the fluorine pump 31 in the fluorine pump module 30 in conjunction with the heat dissipation module 20. Specifically, the water pump 12 is turned on, the electric heating assembly 14 is turned off, and the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The first working fluid removes heat from the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220, causing the temperature of the first working fluid to rise. The first throttle valve 13 is opened, the second bypass valve 32 is closed, the first bypass valve 51 is opened, and the compressor 40 is turned off. The second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 circulates under the drive of the fluorine pump 31. The second working fluid exchanges heat with the outside world through the second heat exchanger 21 and fan 22. Within the first heat exchanger 11, the first working fluid in the first pipeline 111 and the second working fluid in the second pipeline 112 exchange heat, reducing the temperature of the first working fluid. The second working fluid removes the heat from the first working fluid. The first working fluid, whose temperature has dropped, continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and dissipates heat to the battery 210 through the liquid cold plate 220. The second working fluid, whose temperature has risen, continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2 and transfers the heat to the external environment through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22, thereby dissipating heat to the battery 210. The flow direction of the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 within the first pipe 111 is opposite to the flow direction of the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 within the second pipe 112. In this operating mode, the liquid cooling system 100, through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50, the fluorine pump module 30, and the heat dissipation module 20, can achieve natural air cooling and heat dissipation of the energy storage device, which is energy-saving and efficient.

[0087] Operation mode 2: As shown in Figure 7b, when the external ambient temperature is relatively low and the battery 210 needs to be heated, the first throttle valve 13 is closed, and the circulation of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 is terminated. The water pump 12 is turned on, and the electric heating component 14 is turned on. The first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The electric heating component 14 heats the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1. The heated first working medium heats the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220, ensuring that the temperature of the battery 210 is at a suitable operating temperature. In this operation mode, the refrigerant circuit H2 is closed, and the battery 210 is heated in a low-temperature environment through the electric heating component 14, which is simple and efficient.

[0088] Operation Mode 3: As shown in Figure 7c, when the ambient temperature is relatively low and battery 210 needs to be heated, the liquid cooling system 100 can implement a heat pump function through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50 and the compressor 40 to manage the thermal state of battery 210. Specifically, the first throttle valve 13 is opened, the second bypass valve 32 is opened, and the compressor 40 is turned on. The second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 circulates under the drive of the fluorine pump 31. The flow direction of the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 within the first pipeline 111 is the same as the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 within the second pipeline 112. The second working medium flows through the second bypass valve 32 and the compressor 40. The compressor 40 starts to heat the second working medium, raising its temperature. The second working medium then flows directly to the thermal management module 10 to heat the first working medium, thereby increasing its temperature. The heated first working medium continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and heats the battery 210 through the liquid cold plate 220. The cooled second working medium continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2. In this operating mode, the electric heating assembly 14 is turned off, and the battery 210 is heated in a low-temperature environment by the compressor 40 , which is more efficient.

[0089] Operation Mode 4: As shown in Figure 7d, when the ambient temperature is relatively high and heat dissipation from the battery 210 is required, the liquid cooling system 100 can achieve cooling through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50 and the compressor 40, thereby managing the thermal state of the battery 210. Specifically, the first throttle valve 13 is opened, the second bypass valve 32 is opened, and the compressor 40 is turned on. The second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 circulates under the drive of the fluorine pump 31. The flow direction of the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 within the first pipeline 111 is opposite to the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 within the second pipeline 112. The second working medium flows through the second bypass valve 32 and the compressor 40. The compressor 40 is activated to cool the second working medium and reduce its temperature. The second working medium absorbs heat from the ambient temperature through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22. Within the first heat exchanger 11, the first working medium in the first pipeline 111 and the second working medium in the second pipeline 112 exchange heat, reducing the temperature of the first working medium. The first working medium in coolant circuit H1 and the second working medium in refrigerant circuit H2 exchange heat within first heat exchanger 11 through first pipe 111 and second pipe 112, allowing the second working medium to remove heat from the first working medium. The cooled first working medium continues to circulate through coolant circuit H1 and dissipates heat to battery 210 through liquid cold plate 220, while the heated second working medium continues to circulate through refrigerant circuit H2. In this operating mode, compressor 40 cools battery 210 in a high-temperature environment, achieving higher efficiency.

[0090] It should be noted that when the compressor 40 is used for heating, the first bypass valve 51 can be opened to reduce the pressure of the compressor 40 to prevent failure of the compressor 40. When the compressor 40 is used for cooling, the first bypass valve 51 can be closed.

[0091] Example 3

[0092] Based on the energy storage device structure shown in FIG5 , as shown in FIG8a , another energy storage device provided in an embodiment of the present application comprises a modified reversing valve module 50 compared to the architecture shown in FIG6 . The reversing valve module 50 includes a four-way valve 52 and a first bypass valve 51 . The two ends of the first bypass valve 51 are respectively connected to the third interface 503 and the fourth interface 504 , so that the first bypass valve 51 is connected in parallel with the compressor 40 . The four-way valve 52 includes a first port a1 , a second port a2 , a third port a3 , a fourth port a4 , and a valve core, which is not shown here. The first port a1 is connected to the first interface 501 , the second port a2 is connected to the third interface 503 , the third port a3 is connected to the fourth interface 504 , and the fourth port a4 is connected to the third interface 503 . The four-way valve 52 has a first state and a second state, which correspond to different conduction states. The valve core is movably disposed within the four-way valve 52 to control the switching of the four-way valve 52 between the first state and the second state. Under the regulation and control of the first bypass valve 51 and the four-way valve 52 , the flow direction and path of the second working medium are regulated in cooperation with the compressor 40 .

[0093] When the four-way valve 52 is in the first state, as shown in Figure 8b, the first port a1 and the second port a2 are connected, and the third port a3 and the fourth port a4 are connected, so that the second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: the first interface 501-the first port a1-the second port a2-the first bypass valve 51 or the compressor 40-the fourth port a4-the third port a3-the second interface 502.

[0094] When the four-way valve 52 is in the second state, as shown in Figure 8c, the first port a1 and the fourth port a4 are connected, and the second port a2 and the third port a3 are connected, so that the second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: the second interface 502-the third port a3-the second port a2-the first bypass valve 51 or the compressor 40-the fourth port a4-the first port a1-the first interface 501.

[0095] Based on the energy storage device architecture shown in FIG. 8 a to FIG. 8 c , the operation mode of the liquid cooling system 100 can be described in conjunction with FIG. 9 a to FIG. 9 d .

[0096] Operation Mode 1: As shown in Figure 9a, when the ambient temperature is neither too high nor too low and heat dissipation from the battery 210 is required, the liquid cooling system 100 can manage the thermal state of the battery 210 through the fluorine pump 31 in the fluorine pump module 30 in conjunction with the heat dissipation module 20. Specifically, the water pump 12 is turned on, the electric heating assembly 14 is turned off, and the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The first working fluid removes heat from the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220, causing the first working fluid temperature to rise. The first throttle valve 13 is opened, the second bypass valve 32 is closed, the first bypass valve 51 is opened, and the compressor 40 is turned off. The second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 circulates under the drive of the fluorine pump 31. The four-way valve 52 is in the first state. The second working fluid enters the reversing valve module 50 from the first port 501, passes through the first port a1, the second port a2, the first bypass valve 51, the fourth port a4, and the third port a3 of the four-way valve 52, and then flows out through the second port 502. The second working medium exchanges heat with the outside world through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22. In the first heat exchanger 11, the first working medium in the first pipe 111 and the second working medium in the second pipe 112 exchange heat, reducing the temperature of the first working medium. The first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 and the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 exchange heat in the first heat exchanger 11 through the first pipe 111 and the second pipe 112, so that the second working medium takes away the heat of the first working medium. The first working medium with a lowered temperature continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and dissipates heat to the battery 210 through the liquid cold plate 220. The second working medium with a higher temperature continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2 and transfers heat to the external environment through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22, thereby achieving heat dissipation for the battery 210. Among them, the flow direction of the first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 in the first pipe 111 is opposite to the flow direction of the second working medium in the refrigerant circuit H2 in the second pipe 112. In this operation mode, the liquid cooling system 100 can achieve natural air cooling and heat dissipation of the energy storage device through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50, the fluorine pump module 30 and the heat dissipation module 20, which is energy-saving and efficient.

[0097] Operation mode two: As shown in Figure 9b, when the external ambient temperature is relatively low, the liquid cooling system 100 can heat the battery 210 through the electric heating component 14. Specifically, the first throttle valve 13 is closed, and the circulation of the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 is terminated. The water pump 12 is turned on, the electric heating component 14 is turned on, and the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 circulates under the drive of the water pump 12. The electric heating component 14 heats the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1. The first working fluid with increased temperature heats the battery 210 through the liquid cooling plate 220 to ensure that the temperature of the battery 210 is at a suitable operating temperature. In this operation mode, the refrigerant circuit H2 is closed, and the battery 210 is heated in a low-temperature environment through the electric heating component 14, which is simple and efficient.

[0098] Operation Mode 3: As shown in Figure 9c, when the ambient temperature is relatively low and heating of the battery 210 is required, the liquid cooling system 100 can achieve a heat pump function through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50 and the compressor 40, thereby managing the thermal state of the battery 210. Specifically, the first throttle valve 13 is open, and the second bypass valve 32 is open. The four-way valve 52 is in the second state. The second working fluid enters the reversing valve module 50 from the second port 502, passes through the third port a3, the second port a2, the compressor 40, the fourth port a4, and the first port a1 of the four-way valve 52, and then flows out through the first port 501. The compressor 40 is turned on to heat the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2. The flow direction of the first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 in the first pipeline 111 is the same as the flow direction of the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 in the second pipeline 112. The second working fluid flows through the second bypass valve 32 and the compressor 40. The compressor 40 starts to heat the second working fluid, raising its temperature. The second working fluid then flows directly to the thermal management module 10 to exchange heat with the first working fluid, raising its temperature. The heated first working fluid continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and heats the battery 210 via the liquid cooling plate 220. The cooled second working fluid continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2. In this operating mode, the electric heating assembly 14 is turned off, and the battery 210 is heated in a low-temperature environment by the heating provided by the compressor 40, which is more efficient.

[0099] Operation Mode 4: As shown in Figure 9d, when the ambient temperature is relatively high and heat dissipation from the battery 210 is required, the liquid cooling system 100 can achieve cooling through the cooperation of the reversing valve module 50 and the compressor 40, thereby managing the thermal state of the battery 210. Specifically, the first throttle valve 13 is open, and the second bypass valve 32 is open. The four-way valve 52 is in the first state. The second refrigerant enters the reversing valve module 50 from the first port 501, passes through the first port a1, the second port a2, the first bypass valve 51, the fourth port a4, and the third port a3 of the four-way valve 52, and then exits through the second port 502. The compressor 40 is turned on to cool the second refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit H2, and the second refrigerant circulates. The flow direction of the first refrigerant in the coolant circuit H1 within the first pipeline 111 is opposite to the flow direction of the second refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit H2 within the second pipeline 112. The second refrigerant exchanges heat with the outside world through the second heat exchanger 21 and the fan 22. Within the first heat exchanger 11, the first working fluid within the first pipe 111 and the second working fluid within the second pipe 112 exchange heat, reducing the temperature of the first working fluid. The first working fluid in the coolant circuit H1 and the second working fluid in the refrigerant circuit H2 exchange heat within the first heat exchanger 11 through the first pipe 111 and the second pipe 112, allowing the second working fluid to remove heat from the first working fluid. The cooled first working fluid continues to circulate through the coolant circuit H1 and dissipates heat to the battery 210 through the liquid cold plate 220, while the heated second working fluid continues to circulate through the refrigerant circuit H2. In this operating mode, compressor 40 is used to cool the battery 210 in a high-temperature environment, which is more efficient.

[0100] The function of the four-way valve 52 can also be achieved by combining four two-way valves or three three-way valves.

[0101] For example, in the four two-way valves shown in FIG10a , the four two-way valves are respectively two-way valve 53a, two-way valve 53b, two-way valve 53c, and two-way valve 53d. As shown in FIG10b , when two-way valves 53a and 53c are closed and two-way valves 53b and 53d are open, the first port 501 is connected to one side of the compressor 40, and the second port 502 is connected to the other side of the compressor 40. The second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: first port 501 - two-way valve 53b - compressor 40 or first bypass valve 51 - two-way valve 53d - second port 502. As shown in FIG10c , when two-way valves 53a and 53c are open and two-way valves 53b and 53d are closed, the first port 501 is connected to one side of the compressor 40, and the second port 502 is connected to the other side of the compressor 40. The second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: the second port 502 - the two-way valve 53 c - the compressor 40 or the first bypass valve 51 - the two-way valve 53 a - the first port 501 .

[0102] For example, the two three-way valves shown in FIG11a are three-way valve 54a, three-way valve 54b, and three-way valve 54c. As shown in FIG11b, three-way valve 54a connects the first interface 501 to one side of the compressor 40, three-way valve 54b connects the other side of the compressor 40 to three-way valve 54c, and three-way valve 54c connects to the second interface 502, so that the second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: first interface 501-two-way valve 53b-compressor 40 or first bypass valve 51-two-way valve 53d-second interface 502. As shown in Figure 11c, the three-way valve 54c connects the second interface 502 and one side of the compressor 40, the three-way valve 54b connects the other side of the compressor 40 and the three-way valve 54a, and the three-way valve 54c is then connected to the first interface 501, so that the second working medium flow path in the refrigerant circuit H2 includes: the second interface 502-two-way valve 53c-compressor 40 or the first bypass valve 51-two-way valve 53a-first interface 501.

[0103] Of course, the function of the four-way valve 52 may also be achieved through other structural replacements, which will not be illustrated here.

[0104] Example 4

[0105] Based on the energy storage device structure shown in Figure 5, as shown in Figures 12a and 12b, in another energy storage device provided in an embodiment of the present application, the thermal management module 10 also includes a dehumidification module 15. The two ends of the dehumidification module 15 are respectively connected to the two refrigeration interfaces 102 of the thermal management module 10, and it can be considered that the dehumidification module 15 is connected in parallel to the two ends of the first heat exchanger 11. Exemplarily, a second throttle valve 16 can be set between the dehumidification module 15 and one of the refrigeration interfaces 102 for connecting the fluorine pump module 30, and the second throttle valve 16 is used to control the flow rate of the second working medium flowing through the dehumidification module 15. When the temperature of the air in the energy storage device is lower than the dew point temperature, the dehumidification module 15 can work to condense the water vapor in the energy storage device into water, thereby reducing the humidity of the energy storage device.

[0106] It should be understood that, with the exception of the dehumidification module 15 and the second throttle valve 16, the remaining structures in FIG12a are similar to the energy storage device structure shown in FIG6 , and the remaining structures in FIG12b are similar to the energy storage device structure shown in FIG8a , and thus will not be described in detail here. In a specific operating mode, the dehumidification module 15 can be activated by starting the compressor 40.

The first working medium in the coolant circuit H1 can flow into each battery module 200 through the liquid outlet pipe 410 to perform thermal management on the battery 210 in the battery module 200. After exchanging heat with the battery 210, the first working medium can return to the liquid cooling system 100 through the liquid inlet pipe 420.

The power conversion device is connected between the power generation device and the energy storage device. The power generation device is used to store the generated electric energy through the power conversion device into the battery 210 of the energy storage device.

[0110] In addition, the energy storage system may also include a battery management system, which can effectively detect parameters such as the temperature, state of charge, and health status of the battery 210, and can also effectively regulate the charging and discharging functions of the battery 210, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the energy storage device.

[0111] In specific applications, the power generation equipment may be photovoltaic power generation equipment, wind power generation equipment, etc., and this application does not limit the specific type of power generation equipment. In addition, in actual applications, the power generation equipment and the battery can also be connected through a distribution cabinet. The distribution cabinet may include DC-AC conversion devices, or may also include components such as transformers to facilitate the efficient transmission of the electrical energy generated by the power generation equipment to the battery for storage. In specific settings, the number and type of components in the distribution cabinet can be reasonably set according to actual needs, and this application does not limit this.

[0112] As shown in Figure 15, an embodiment of the present application also provides a charging network, including a charging station 02 and an energy storage device. The charging station 02 is electrically connected to the battery module 200 of the energy storage device via a cable, and the battery module 200 can provide its stored electrical energy to the charging station 02. The charging station 02 has a connector 021, which can be connected to a powered device (such as a vehicle) to replenish energy to the powered device.
