Description

Setting method, program, and setting system

[0001] The present disclosure generally relates to a setting method, a program, and a setting system, and more particularly to a setting method, a program, and a setting system for setting a plurality of air conditioners.

[0002] Patent Document 1 describes an indoor environment control device that calculates a comfort index value such as a predicted mean vote (PMV) and calculates the setting values of air conditioning equipment using the calculated comfort index value.

[0003] In the indoor environment control device described in Patent Document 1, it is desired that the specific indoor space becomes a desired PMV space in order to realize a comfortable indoor space.

[0004] However, in many buildings, living spaces are not necessarily independent of adjacent living spaces. For example, in a house, airflow from an air conditioner in an adjacent living space may flow in through an opening in a wall, or airflow from an air conditioner installed on the first floor may flow into a living space on the second floor by natural convection through an atrium or staircase. In such cases, when a single building has multiple living spaces and multiple air conditioners, it has been difficult to consider the influence of each airflow from the multiple air conditioners and make any one of the multiple living spaces into a desired PMV space.

[0005] JP 2016-3834 A

[0006] The present disclosure aims to provide a setting method, program, and setting system that can set multiple air conditioning devices installed in multiple interconnected living spaces so that any one of the multiple living spaces becomes a desired PMV space.

[0007] A setting method according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a setting method for setting a plurality of air conditioning devices installed in a plurality of interconnected residential spaces in a facility. The setting method includes a determination step, a temperature calculation step, and an index calculation step. In the determination step, a relational expression defining a relationship between the temperature of one of the plurality of residential spaces and the discharge temperature of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices is determined by setting values of coefficients and constants included in the relational expression. In the temperature calculation step, a plurality of discharge temperatures, which are the discharge temperatures of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices, are calculated using the relational expression determined in the determination step to achieve a plurality of target temperatures, which are preset target temperatures for each of the plurality of residential spaces. In the index calculation step, a predetermined PMV index for any of the plurality of residential spaces is calculated using the plurality of discharge temperatures calculated in the temperature calculation step.

[0008] A program according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a program for causing one or more processors to execute the setting method.

[0009] A setting system according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a setting system for setting multiple air conditioning devices installed in multiple interconnected residential spaces in a facility. The setting system includes a determination unit, a temperature calculation unit, and an index calculation unit. The determination unit determines a relational expression that defines a relationship between the temperature of one of the multiple residential spaces and the discharge temperature of each of the multiple air conditioning devices by setting values of coefficients and constants included in the relational expression. The temperature calculation unit uses the relational expression determined by the determination unit to calculate multiple discharge temperatures, which are the discharge temperatures of each of the multiple air conditioning devices, to achieve multiple target temperatures, which are preset target temperatures for each of the multiple residential spaces. The index calculation unit uses the multiple discharge temperatures calculated by the temperature calculation unit to calculate a predetermined PMV index for any one of the multiple residential spaces.

[0010] FIG. 1 is a plan view showing an example of a floor plan of a facility to which a setting system according to a first embodiment is applied. FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of normalized concentrations in a plurality of living spaces in the floor plan. FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the setting system according to the first embodiment. FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of the setting system according to the first embodiment. FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of the setting system according to the first embodiment. FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing the configuration of a setting system according to a second embodiment. FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of the setting system according to the first embodiment.

[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0012] (First Embodiment) (1) Overview An overview of a setting system 1 and a setting method according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3. The setting system 1 is a system that executes the setting method.

[0013] In the setting method of the first embodiment, for example, the discharge temperature of each of a plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn installed in a plurality of interconnected living spaces R1 to Rm (m spaces, m=3 in FIG. 3 ) in a facility 10 is set so that a specific space of any one of the living spaces Ri becomes a predetermined PMV space. The plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are, for example, air conditioners that perform cooling or heating operation. The setting method is performed, for example, when the facility is designed.

[0014] In this disclosure, the "specific space" refers to a space within the living space Ri that is, for example, 0.1 m to 1.7 m above the floor and 1 m or more away from each of the multiple walls provided in the living space.

[0015] In the present disclosure, "PMV" refers to an index that quantitatively represents the degree to which a person feels a thermal sensation. The specific value of PMV (PMV value) is calculated from four physical quantities: temperature (room temperature), radiant temperature (radiant temperature), humidity (relative humidity), and wind speed, and two human factors: the amount of clothing worn by the occupants and the amount of activity (work volume). The PMV value ranges from -3 to +3. A larger negative PMV value indicates an environment in which people feel colder. On the other hand, a larger positive PMV value indicates an environment in which people feel hotter. Generally, the closer the PMV value is to zero, the more comfortable the user can be. PMV, including its calculation method, complies with standards such as ISO 7730 (Third edition 2005-11-15).

[0016] In the present disclosure, a "desired PMV space" is a space in which the proportion of the area (space) in which the PMV value is within a predetermined range (hereinafter referred to as the PMV space volume ratio) is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio. For example, in the first embodiment, the target PMV space volume ratio is 90%. The predetermined range of the PMV value is -0.5 to 0.5 (a range of -0.5 or more and 0.5 or less). Note that the predetermined ratio and the predetermined range can be changed as appropriate.

[0017] In the present disclosure, the term "facility" includes residential facilities used for residential purposes, as well as non-residential facilities such as stores (tenants), offices, welfare facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, and factories. Non-residential facilities also include restaurants, amusement parks, hotels, inns, kindergartens, nurseries, and community centers. In other words, a facility may be a residential facility such as an apartment building, or a non-residential facility such as an office building. Furthermore, a facility may include a combination of residential and non-residential facilities, for example, with stores on the lower floors and residences on the upper floors. In the first embodiment, it is assumed that the facility is a detached building.

[0018] The setting terminal 2 is an example of the setting system 1. As shown in Fig. 3 , the setting terminal 2 of the first embodiment sets a plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn installed in a plurality of interconnected living spaces R1 to Rm in a facility. The setting terminal 2 includes a determination unit 61, a temperature calculation unit 62, and an index calculation unit 63.

[0019] The determination unit 61 performs a determination process (a determination step). In the determination process, the determination unit 61 determines the relational expression that defines the relationship between the temperature of one living space Ri among the living spaces R1 to Rm and the blow-out temperature of each of the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn by setting values of coefficients and constants included in the relational expression.

[0020] The above relational expression is defined, for example, by Equation 1.

[0021]

[0022] however,

[0023]

[0024]

[0025]

[0026]

[0027] T in Equation 2 is a vector having T(i) (i=1-m) as the component in the i-th row and the 1st column.

[0028] A in Equation 3 is a matrix having A(i,j) (i=1-m, j=1-n) as the component of row i and column j.

[0029] Tout in Equation 4 is a vector having Tout(i) (i=1-m) as the component in the i-th row and the 1st column.

[0030] C in Equation 5 is a vector having C(i) (i=1-m) as the component in row i and column 1.

[0031] n is the number of the plurality of air conditioners.

[0032] m is the number of the plurality of living spaces.

[0033] T(i) is the temperature of the ith living space among the plurality of living spaces.

[0034] Tout(i) is the air outlet temperature of the i-th air conditioner among the plurality of air conditioners.

[0035] A(i,j) is the proportion of the blown air temperature Tout(j) that contributes to the temperature T(i).

[0036] C(i) is a constant for the i-th living space.

[0037] In this case, the coefficient included in the relational expression is the ratio A(i,j) (matrix A), and the constant included in the relational expression is the constant term C(i) (vector C).

[0038] The temperature calculation unit 62 performs a temperature calculation process (temperature calculation step). In the temperature calculation process, the temperature calculation unit 62 calculates a plurality of blow-out temperatures for realizing a plurality of preset target temperatures using the relational expressions determined by the determination unit 61. The plurality of target temperatures are the target temperatures for each of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm. The plurality of blow-out temperatures are the blow-out temperatures for each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn.

[0039] The index calculation unit 63 performs an index calculation process (index calculation step). In the index calculation process, the index calculation unit 63 calculates a predetermined PMV index for any one of the living spaces Ri among the living spaces R1 to Rm by performing a thermal simulation based on the airflow generated by the air blown out from each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, based on the plurality of blown-out temperatures calculated by the temperature calculation unit 62.

[0040] In the setting system 1 and setting method of the first embodiment, the above relational expression indicates that the temperature of each of the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm is given by the sum of the temperatures contributed by each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn. The temperature calculation unit 62 calculates multiple air discharge temperatures corresponding to multiple preset target temperatures using the above relational expression, and the index calculation unit 63 calculates a predetermined PMV index for any residential space based on the calculated multiple air discharge temperatures. This calculation result can be used to determine whether any residential space is a PMV space. In other words, by setting the multiple air discharge temperatures calculated by the temperature calculation unit 62 as the respective air discharge temperatures of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, any residential space Ri can be made a PMV space. In other words, when multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are installed in multiple interconnected residential spaces R1 to Rm, the air discharge temperatures of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn can be set so that any residential space Ri among the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm becomes a PMV space.

[0041] (2) Details (2-1) Example of Floor Plan of Facility An example of the floor plan of the facility 10 to which the setting system 1 and setting method of the first embodiment are applied will be described.

[0042] As shown in FIG. 1 , the facility 10 has multiple (m, in the example of FIG. 1 , m=3) residential spaces R1 to R3. The multiple residential spaces R1 to R3 are connected to each other by openings K1 to K3 provided in the walls that separate them. For example, the residential spaces R1 and R2 are connected to each other by an opening K1 provided in the wall that separates them. The opening K1 is an entrance / exit through which people enter and exit, and an opening door D1 that opens and closes the opening K1 is provided in the opening K1. In the example of FIG. 1 , the opening door D1 is closed. The residential spaces R1 and R3 are connected to each other by an opening K2 provided in the wall that separates them. The opening K2 is an entrance / exit through which people enter and exit, and an opening door D2 that opens and closes the opening K2 is provided in the opening K2. In the example of FIG. 1 , the opening door D2 is open. The residential spaces R2 and R3 are connected to each other by an opening K3 provided in the wall that separates them. The opening K3 is an entrance / exit through which people enter and exit, and an opening door D3 that opens and closes the opening K3. In the example of FIG. 1, the opening and closing door D3 is closed.

[0043] A plurality of (n units, where n=3 in the example of FIG. 1 ) air conditioning devices M1-M3 are installed in the plurality of living spaces R1-R3. In the example of FIG. 1 , the plurality of air conditioning devices M1-M3 are installed in the plurality of living spaces R1-R3 in a one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of living spaces R1-R3. Specifically, the air conditioning devices M1, M2, and M3 are installed on the walls of the living spaces R1, R2, and R3, respectively.

[0044] As shown in Figure 1, when multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 are installed in multiple living spaces R1 to R3, air currents generated by the air blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 move between the multiple living spaces R1 to R3 through the respective openings K1 to K3. As a result, in each of the multiple living spaces R1 to R3, the air currents (gases) blown out from and flowing into each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 are mixed. When the door is open, as in the case of the door D2, the air currents enter and exit through the opening K2. When the door is closed, as in the case of the door D1, the air currents enter and exit through the gap between the opening K1 and the door D1.

[0045] As described above, when airflows (gases) from multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 are mixed within each of the living spaces R1 to R3, even if the thermal environment of one living space (for example, R1) is optimized using PMV, it will not be sufficient to optimize by controlling only the air conditioning device M1 installed in that living space R1.

[0046] The inventors have discovered a method for using thermal simulation to estimate the mixture ratio of airflows (gases) blown out from each of multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 into the i-th living space Ri. This method makes it possible to determine the temperature T(i) of the i-th living space Ri while taking into account the influence of the temperature received from the airflows blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 and flowing in (the blowout temperature of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3).

[0047] (2-2) Concept of the Thermal Simulation Method The concept of the thermal simulation method will be explained with reference to FIGS.

[0048] (2-2-1) Normalized Concentration In the thermal simulation method, first, it is assumed that multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 (see FIG. 1) blow out distinguishable gases (gases G1 to G3). The masses of these gases G1 to G3 are assumed to be zero. The spatial distribution of the gas concentrations of the gases G1 to G3 blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to M3 and introduced into each of the multiple living spaces R1 to R3 is calculated by thermal simulation. By setting the mass of each gas G1 to G3 to zero, the effect of gravity is eliminated, and the spatial distribution of the gas concentrations of the gases G1 to G3 in each living space R1 to R3 roughly follows the diffusion of the airflow.

[0049] Next, the concentration ratio of the gas concentrations of the gases G1 to G3 is calculated for each of the living spaces R1 to R3. By normalizing the concentration ratio, the contribution of the airflow from each of the air conditioning devices M1 to M3 in each of the living spaces R1 to R3 can be quantified.

[0050] FIG. 2 is a conceptual diagram of gas concentration ratios in a living space.

[0051] The gas concentration ratios shown in Figure 2 are an example of gas concentration ratios for the floor plan of the facility 10 and the arrangement of air conditioning devices M1 to M3 shown in Figure 1. Each air conditioning device M1 to M3 blows out gases G1 to G3 that are distinguishable from one another. The gas concentration of each gas G1 to G3 is assumed to be unitless and equal to "1." The normalized gas concentration of each gas G1 to G3 in each living space R1 to R3 obtained from the results of the thermal simulation is defined as normalized concentration N(i,j). The normalized concentration N(i,j) is the normalized concentration of gas Gj blown out from the jth air conditioning device Mj into the i-th living space Ri and flowing in.

[0052] The normalized concentration N(i,j) is defined by Equation 6.

[0053]

[0054] D(i, j) in Equation 6 is the concentration of the gas Gj blown out from the jth air conditioning device Mj into the i-th living space Ri and flowing in.

[0055] In Equation 6, m is the number of living spaces.

[0056] In the example of Figure 2, for example, in living space R1, the gas concentration ratio of gas G1 from air conditioning equipment M1 installed in living space R1 is the highest, the gas concentration ratio of gas G3 flowing in from living space R3 when opening / closing door D3 is open is the next highest, and the gas concentration ratio of gas G3 flowing in from living space R2 when opening / closing door D2 is closed is the lowest.

[0057] (2-2-2) Temperature of Living Spaces When the temperature of the i-th living space Ri is T(i) and the blow-out temperature of the j-th air conditioning device Mj is Tout(j), the temperature T(i) is defined by a linear first-order equation in Equation 7. Furthermore, A(i,j) in Equation 7 is defined as the product of the first coefficient S(i) and the second coefficient, the normalized concentration N(i,j), as in Equation 8.

[0058]

[0059] however,

[0060]

[0061] A(i,j) in Equation 7 corresponds to the proportion of the blown air temperature Tout(j) that contributes to the temperature T(i).

[0062] C(i) in Equation 7 is a constant term for the i-th living space Ri.

[0063] In Equation 7, n is the number of air conditioners.

[0064] In Equation 8, S(i) is a coefficient relating to the i-th living space.

[0065] Equation 7 indicates that the temperature T(i) of the i-th residential space Ri is determined as a function of the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn. The contribution of the airflow from each air conditioning device M1 to Mn is determined based on the normalized concentrations N(i,1) to N(i,n) of the gases G1 to Gn blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn and introduced into the i-th residential space Ri. The first coefficient S(i) is a value determined so that Equation 7 holds true for the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm. In Equation 7, the first coefficients S(i) associated with the multiple blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) are all the same.

[0066] In this setting system 1 and setting method, the temperature T(i) of the i-th living space Ri is controlled by the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn. To achieve this, an optimization method is used to determine the combination of blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) that achieves the temperature T(i). In this case, the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) serve as coefficients when solving Equation 7, which holds for each living space R1 to Rm, as a system of simultaneous linear equations.

[0067] Specifically, the combination of blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) that achieves temperature T(i) is found using the following procedure. The above equation 1 is an equation that expresses the above simultaneous linear equations in matrix form. First, vectors T, Tout, and normalized concentration N(i,j) are set as known values, and matrix A and vector C are calculated using an optimization method to determine equation 1. Determining equation 1 means that in equation 1, matrix A, which is a coefficient, and vector C, which is a constant, other than vectors T and Tout, which are variables, are quantified.

[0068] More specifically, to set the vectors T, Tout, and normalized concentration N(i,j) as known values, the values of vector T and normalized concentration N(i,j) are obtained by thermal simulation when the value of vector Tout is varied to various values, and the set of the varied vector Tout and the obtained vector T and normalized concentration N(i,j) is used as training data. The conditions for obtaining the training data can be determined, for example, using an orthogonal array in experimental design (e.g., an L18 or L32 orthogonal array). Note that general methods can be used as optimization methods using training data. For example, methods such as steepest descent, machine learning, and deep learning may be used.

[0069] By determining Equation 1 in this way, the temperature T(i) of the i-th living space Ri can be found from the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioners M1 to Mn.

[0070] Also, the inverse matrix A of matrix A -1 is calculated, and Equation 1 is transformed into Equation 9.

[0071]

[0072] From Equation 9, it is possible to find the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the air conditioners M1 to Mn that will set the temperatures of the living spaces R1 to Rm to temperatures T(i) to T(m).

[0073] (2-3) PMV optimization procedure for any residential space In this setting system 1 and setting method, the discharge temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are determined so that any residential space Ri among the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rn ultimately becomes the desired PMV space.

[0074] An arbitrary living space Ri becoming a desired PMV space means, for example, that the PMV space volume ratio of the arbitrary living space Ri becomes a target value (for example, 90%) or more.

[0075] PMV is defined by temperature, humidity, wind speed, radiant temperature, clothing amount, and activity level. Of these, in a typical environment such as a residence, it is mainly temperature and wind speed that affect the PMV value, excluding human-related factors (clothing amount, activity level). Since wind speed is usually low indoors, at roughly 0.1 to 0.2 m, wind speed has almost no effect on the PMV value. Therefore, controlling the temperature of the living space is the most important factor in controlling the PMV value.

[0076] For this reason, in embodiment 1, the temperature T(i) of any residential space Ri is controlled so that the residential space Ri becomes a desired PMV space. To achieve this, the temperature T(i) of the residential space Ri must be controlled using the discharge temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn. This involves determining in advance the target temperature for each residential space Ri so that the PMV space volume ratio of the residential space Ri is equal to or greater than the target value, substituting the determined target temperature for each residential space Ri into vector T in equation 9, and then determining the discharge temperature Tout(j) of each air conditioning device Mj to achieve the target temperature as vector Tout in equation 9.

[0077] (2-4) Configuration of the Setting System A detailed configuration of the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) according to the first embodiment will be described below with reference to Fig. 3. The setting terminal 2 is an information terminal such as a desktop or laptop personal computer, a server computer, or a tablet terminal. The setting terminal 2 is a terminal operated by a user such as an employee of a design (management) company that designs (manages) a facility.

[0078] As shown in FIG. 3, the setting terminal 2 includes a storage unit 3, a display unit 4, an operation unit 5, and a control unit 6.

[0079] The setting terminal 2 includes, for example, a microcomputer having a processor and a memory. The processor executes one or more appropriate programs, causing the computer system to function as the control unit 6. In other words, the control unit 6 is realized by a computer system having a processor and a memory. Each of the one or more programs may be pre-recorded in the memory, or may be provided via a telecommunications line such as the Internet, or recorded on a non-transitory recording medium such as a memory card.

[0080] The storage unit 3 is a semiconductor memory such as a ROM (Read Only Memory), a RAM (Random Access Memory), or an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory). The storage unit 3 is not limited to a semiconductor memory, and may be a hard disk drive or the like. The storage unit 3 stores programs necessary for the operation of the setting system 1 and various processing results performed by the setting system 1.

[0081] The display unit 4 is, for example, a display such as a liquid crystal display or an organic EL (Electro Luminescence) display. The display unit 4 is capable of displaying the results of various processes performed by the setting system 1.

[0082] The operation unit 5 is a pointing device (such as a mouse, a touch panel, or a touch pad), a keyboard, etc. The operation unit 5 generates an operation signal in response to a user's operation, and outputs the operation signal to the control unit 6.

[0083] The display unit 4 and the operation unit 5 may be a touch panel display in which the display unit 4 and the operation unit 5 are integrally formed.

[0084] As shown in FIG. 3 , the control unit 6 includes a determination unit 61 , a temperature calculation unit 62 , and an index calculation unit 63 .

[0085] (2-4-1) Determination Unit The determination unit 61 performs a determination process (determination step). In the determination process, the determination unit 61 determines the relational expression (Equation 1) that defines the relationship between the temperature T(i) of one living space Ri among the living spaces R1 to Rm and the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(m) of each of the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn by setting the values of the coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational expression. In the first embodiment, the determination unit 61 calculates the values of each component of matrix A and vector C in Equation 1 by performing a thermal simulation of the mixture ratio of gases blown out from each of the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn and introduced into each of the living spaces R1 to Rm.

[0086] More specifically, the determination unit 61 includes a condition setting unit 611, a model creation unit 612, an implementation unit 613, and a calculation unit 614. The determination process (determination step) includes a condition setting process (condition setting step) described below, a model creation process (model creation step) described below, an implementation process (implementation step) described below, and a calculation process (calculation step) described below.

[0087] The condition setting unit 611 performs a condition setting process (condition setting step). In the condition setting process, the condition setting unit 611 sets thermal environment conditions. The thermal environment conditions are conditions related to the thermal environment in which a thermal simulation is performed. The thermal environment conditions include structural information about the facility 10, specification information about the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, and outdoor air information. The structural information about the facility 10 is structural information about the facility 10 in which a thermal simulation is performed. The structural information about the facility 10 includes information about the floor plans of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm and information about the overall heat transmittance of the walls surrounding the living spaces R1 to Rm. The specification information about the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn is specification information (e.g., catalog values) for each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn installed in the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm of the facility 10. The specification information includes, for example, information such as the model number of the air conditioning device and the air volume when the air conditioning device is operating. The outdoor air information includes information on the amount of solar radiation irradiating each of the living spaces R1 to Rn. In the first embodiment, the condition setting unit 611 sets the thermal environment conditions based on a user's operation on the operation unit 5.

[0088] The model creation unit 612 performs a model creation process (model creation step). In the model creation process, the model creation unit 612 creates a thermal simulation model to be used in the thermal simulation. The thermal simulation model is, for example, a CFD (computational fluid dynamics) model. More specifically, in the model creation process, the model creation unit 612 creates a thermal simulation model based on the airflow generated by the blown air of each of the multiple air conditioners M1 to Mn, based on the thermal environment conditions set in the condition setting process. Furthermore, in the model creation process, the model creation unit 612 sets the gases G1 to Gn blown out from each of the multiple air conditioners M1 to Mn as gases that can be distinguished from one another.

[0089] When performing a thermal simulation, at least one of the humidity of each living space R1 to Rm, the strength, blowing direction, and wind speed of the air blown out from each air conditioning device M1 to Mn, and the arrangement of each air conditioning device M1 to Mn may be further taken into consideration.

[0090] The implementation unit 613 performs an implementation process (implementation step). In the implementation process, the implementation unit 613 acquires teacher data by performing a thermal simulation using the thermal simulation model created by the model creation unit 612. In the thermal simulation, the flow of gases G1 to Gn blown out from each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in each of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm is simulated. More specifically, the implementation unit 613 sets, for example, a vector Tout (the blowout temperature of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn) as a known value, calculates the value of the vector T (the temperature of each of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm) and the value of the normalized concentration N(i, j) under this set value through the thermal simulation, and acquires a set of these values (a set of a set value and a calculated value) as teacher data.

[0091] More specifically, the implementation unit 613 changes the set value of the vector Tout. Then, the implementation unit 613 calculates the value of the vector T and the value of the normalized concentration N(i, j) under each changed set value by performing a thermal simulation. Then, the implementation unit 613 acquires multiple pieces of training data corresponding to the number of changes in the set value of the vector Tout.

[0092] The calculation unit 614 performs a calculation process (calculation step). In the calculation process, the calculation unit 614 calculates the normalized concentration N(i,j), the temperature T(i), and the blow-out temperature Tout(i) based on the teacher data acquired in the implementation process. When the calculation unit 614 calculates the value of the normalized concentration N(i,j), the implementation unit 613 first calculates the gas concentrations D(i,1) to D(i,n) of the multiple gases G1 to Gn in each living space Ri based on the results of the thermal simulation. Then, the calculation unit 614 uses Equation 6 to calculate the normalized concentration N(i,j) of the gas Gj blown out from and input to the living space Ri from the multiple gas concentrations D(i,1) to D(i,n).

[0093] Then, the calculation unit 614 calculates the values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) from the results of the above calculations (i.e., the calculation results of the normalized concentration N(i,j), the temperature T(i), and the blow-out temperature Tout(i)) using Equation 1. When calculating the values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i), the first coefficient S(i) (i = 1 to m) may be set to "1," or the constant term C(i) (i = 1 to m) may be set to "0."

[0094] More specifically, the implementation unit 613 acquires multiple pieces of teacher data, and the calculation unit 614 calculates the values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) for each piece of teacher data. That is, the calculation unit 614 calculates multiple pairs of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) corresponding to the multiple pieces of teacher data. The calculation unit 614 then selects one pair from the calculated multiple pairs. For example, since the value of the teacher data vector Tout varies depending on the teacher data, the calculation unit 614 may select teacher data having a value of the vector Tout that is more suitable for implementation from the multiple pieces of teacher data. In this way, by selecting one pair from the multiple pairs, a single pair of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) is determined, thereby finally determining Equation 1.

[0095] More specifically, the calculation unit 614 calculates the inverse matrix A of the matrix A in the determined Equation 1. -1 is calculated, and Equation 1 is transformed into Equation 9.

[0096] (2-4-2) Temperature Calculation Unit The temperature calculation unit 62 performs a temperature calculation process (temperature calculation step). In the temperature calculation process, the temperature calculation unit 62 calculates a plurality of blow-out temperatures for achieving a plurality of preset target temperatures using Equation 9 (Equation 9 is substantially the same as Equation 1) confirmed by the confirmation unit 61. The plurality of target temperatures are the target temperatures for each of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm. The plurality of blow-out temperatures are the blow-out temperatures for each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn.

[0097] More specifically, the temperature calculation unit 62 includes a PMV setting unit 621, a target calculation unit 622, and an optimization unit 623. The temperature calculation process (temperature calculation step) includes a PMV setting process (PMV setting step) described below, a target calculation process (target calculation step) described below, and an optimization process (optimization step) described below.

[0098] The PMV setting unit 621 performs a PMV setting process (PMV setting step). In the PMV setting process, the PMV setting unit 621 sets PMV information necessary to calculate the PMV value of each residential space Ri (i = 1 to m). The PMV information includes human information (amount of clothing and amount of activity) and estimated values of humidity, wind speed, and radiant temperature. In the first embodiment, the PMV setting unit 621 sets the PMV information based on a user's operation on the operation unit 5.

[0099] The target calculation unit 622 performs a target calculation process (target calculation step). In the target calculation process, the target calculation unit 622 calculates temperatures T(1) to T(m) of the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm for making an arbitrary residential space R1 of the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm a desired PMV space, based on the PMV information set by the PMV setting unit 621. Then, the target calculation unit 622 sets the calculated temperatures T(1) to T(m) as the target temperatures of the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm for making an arbitrary residential space Ri a desired PMV space.

[0100] The optimization unit 623 performs an optimization process (optimization step). In the optimization process, the optimization unit 623 optimizes the airflow blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn based on the target temperatures T(1) to T(m) of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm calculated by the target calculation unit 622. Specifically, the optimization unit 623 uses Equation 9 calculated by the calculation unit 614 to calculate the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn that are required to achieve the target temperatures T(1) to T(m) of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm calculated by the target calculation unit 622.

[0101] (2-4-3) Index Calculation Unit The index calculation unit 63 performs an index calculation process (index calculation step). In the index calculation process, the index calculation unit 63 calculates a predetermined PMV index for any living space Ri by performing a thermal simulation based on the airflow generated by the air blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, using the multiple blown-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the temperature calculation unit 62. The predetermined PMV index is, for example, the PMV space volume ratio of a specific space within the living space Ri.

[0102] More specifically, the index calculation unit 63 includes a model creation unit 631, an implementation unit 632, a PMV calculation unit 633, and an output unit 634. The index calculation process (index calculation step) includes a model creation process (model creation step) described below, an implementation process (implementation step) described below, a PMV calculation process (PMV calculation step) described below, and an output process (output step) described below.

[0103] The model creation unit 631 performs a model creation process (model creation step). In the model creation process, the model creation unit 631 creates a thermal simulation model to be used in the thermal simulation using the multiple blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the optimization unit 623. The thermal simulation model is, for example, a CFD (computational fluid dynamics) model. More specifically, in the model creation process, the model creation unit 631 creates a thermal simulation model based on the airflow generated by the blow-out air of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, using the multiple blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the optimization unit 623, based on the thermal environment conditions set in the condition setting process.

[0104] When the user inputs thermal environment conditions for creating a model in the model creation unit 631 into the operation unit 5, the model creation unit 631 may use the input thermal environment information instead of using the thermal environment conditions set in the condition setting unit 611.

[0105] The implementation unit 632 performs an implementation process (implementation step). In the implementation process, the implementation unit 632 performs a thermal simulation using the thermal simulation model created by the model creation unit 631. That is, the implementation unit 632 simulates the flow of gases G1 to Gn blown out from a plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in a plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm.

[0106] The PMV calculation unit 633 performs a PMV calculation process (PMV calculation step). In the PMV calculation process, the PMV calculation unit 633 calculates the PMV space volume ratio of a specific space within any living space Ri based on the results of the thermal simulation performed by the implementation unit 613. More specifically, in the PMV calculation process, the PMV calculation unit 633 calculates the PMV space volume ratio in a state in which the distribution of each gas Gj in each living space Ri is stabilized.

[0107] The output unit 634 performs an output process (output step). In the output process, the output unit 634 outputs the calculation result (the PMV volume ratio) calculated by the PMV calculation unit 633 to the display unit 4. This allows the user to check whether the PMV space volume ratio is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio (for example, 90%) by viewing the calculation result of the PMV calculation unit 633 on the display unit 4.

[0108] That is, when the PMV volume ratio is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio, it can be confirmed that the multiple blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the optimization unit 623 can actually turn any living space Ri into the desired PMV space in a thermal simulation. On the other hand, when the PMV volume ratio is less than a predetermined ratio, it can be confirmed that the multiple blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the optimization unit 623 cannot actually turn any living space Ri into the desired PMV space in a thermal simulation.

[0109] (3) Operation of the Setting System The operation of the setting system 1 will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0110] The setting system 1 performs a condition setting process (condition setting step) (S1). In step S1, the setting system 1 sets building structure information of the facility 10 (S1-1), sets specification information for each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn (S1-2), and sets outside air information (S1-3).

[0111] Next, the setting system 1 performs a model creation process (model creation step) (S2). In step S2, the setting system 1 first sets the gases G1 to Gn blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn as gases that can be distinguished from one another (S2-1). Then, the setting system 1 creates a thermal simulation model (e.g., a CFD model) based on the setting results of each step S1 and S2-1 (S2-2).

[0112] Next, the setting system 1 performs an implementation process (implementation step) (S3). In step S3, the setting system 1 acquires multiple sets of teacher data by performing a thermal simulation using the thermal simulation model created in step S2-2. The multiple sets of teacher data correspond one-to-one to multiple sets of blowout temperatures, with each set consisting of multiple values of blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n).

[0113] Next, the setting system 1 performs a calculation process (calculation step) (S4). In step S4, the setting system 1 calculates a normalized concentration N(i,j) from one of the multiple sets of training data acquired in step S3 (S4-1), and then uses the calculated normalized concentration N(i,j) to digitize the N(i,j) portion of each component A(i,j) of matrix A in equation 1 (S4-2). Also in step S4, the setting system 1 calculates a temperature T(i) for each living space Ri from the training data (S4-3), and then uses the calculated temperature T(i) to digitize each component T(i) of vector T in equation 1 (S4-4). Also in step S4, the setting system 1 uses each outlet temperature Tout(i), which is the training data, to digitize each component Tout(i) of vector Tout in equation 1 (S4-5).

[0114] Then, in step S4, the setting system 1 uses the results of the quantification in steps S4-2, S4-4, and S4-5 to create a relational equation between the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) from Equation 1 (S4-6). Then, in step S4, the setting system 1 determines the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) that satisfy the above relational equation (the relational equation between the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i)) (S4-7). The processes in steps S4-1 to S4-7 are also performed on the remaining teacher data of the multiple teacher data. Therefore, in step S4-7, the setting system 1 determines multiple pairs of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) corresponding to the multiple teacher data.

[0115] Then, in step S4, the setting system 1 selects one set (optimal set) from the multiple sets (multiple sets of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i)) determined in step S4-7 (S4-8). For example, the setting system 1 calculates the PMV space volume ratio of a specific space within the desired living space Ri for each of the multiple sets. The setting system 1 then selects the set that calculates the maximum PMV space volume ratio from the multiple sets as the optimal set. Through this selection, Equation 1 is determined from the selected set (values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i)) and the normalized concentration N(i, j) used in calculating the selected set.

[0116] Then, in step S4, the setting system 1 calculates the inverse matrix A of the matrix A in Equation 1 determined in step S4-8. -1 (S4-9), and the calculated inverse matrix A -1 Using the formula, Equation 1 is transformed into Equation 9 (S4-10). Note that Equation 9 obtained in step S4-10 is substantially the same as the determined Equation 1.

[0117] Next, the setting system 1 performs a PMV setting process (PMV setting step) (S5). In step S5, the setting system 1 sets PMV information (such as clothing amount, activity amount, humidity, wind speed, and radiant temperature) based on the user's operation on the operation unit 5.

[0118] Next, the setting system 1 performs a target calculation process (target calculation step) (S6). In step S6, the setting system 1 calculates temperatures T(1) to T(m) for each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm so that an arbitrary living space Ri becomes a desired PMV space, based on the PMV information set in step S5. The setting system 1 then determines the calculated values as the target temperatures for each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm so that the arbitrary living space Ri becomes a desired PMV space.

[0119] Next, the setting system 1 performs an optimization process (optimization step) (S7). In step S7, the setting system 1 uses Equation 9 obtained in step S4-10 to calculate the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn to achieve the target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) of each of the living spaces R1 to Rm determined in step S6.

[0120] Next, the setting system 1 performs a model creation process (model creation step) (S8). In step S8, the setting system 1 creates a thermal simulation model using the multiple blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated in step S7. Note that the building structure information of the facility 10, the specification information of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, and the outside air information required to create the thermal simulation are the same as, for example, the information set in step S1.

[0121] Next, the setting system 1 performs an implementation process (implementation step) (S9). In step S9, the setting system 1 performs a thermal simulation using the thermal simulation model created in step S8.

[0122] Next, the setting system 1 performs a PMV calculation process (PMV calculation step) (S10). In step S10, the setting system 1 calculates the PMV space volume ratio of a specific space within any (e.g., all) living space Ri based on the results of the thermal simulation performed in step S9.

[0123] Next, the setting system 1 performs an output process (output step) (S11). In step S11, the setting system 1 outputs the calculation result (the PMV volume ratio) calculated in step S10 to the display unit 4. This allows the user to check whether the PMV space volume ratio is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio (e.g., 90%) by viewing the calculation result of step S10 on the display unit 4.

[0124] (4) Main Effects The setting method according to the first embodiment is a setting method for setting multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn installed in multiple interconnected residential spaces R1 to Rm in a facility 10. The setting method includes determination steps S1 to S4, temperature calculation steps S5 to S7, and index calculation steps S8 to S11. In the determination steps S1 to S4, the relationship between the temperature T(i) of one residential space Ri among the multiple residential spaces R1 to Rm and the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn is defined by setting the values of the coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation (Equation 1). In temperature calculation steps S5 to S7, the above relational expressions established in determination steps S1 to S4 are used to calculate multiple outlet temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n), which are the outlet temperatures of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, to achieve multiple target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)), which are the target temperatures for each of the multiple preset living spaces R1 to Rm. In index calculation steps S8 to S11, a predetermined PMV index for any living space Ri of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm is calculated using the multiple outlet temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated in temperature calculation steps S5 to S7.

[0125] According to this configuration, the above relational expression indicates that the temperature T(i) of one of the multiple residential spaces R1-Rm, Ri, is given by the sum of the temperatures contributed by the respective blow-out temperatures Tout(1)-Tout(n) of the multiple air conditioning devices M1-Mn. In temperature calculation steps S5-S7, the above relational expression is used to calculate multiple blow-out temperatures Tout(1)-Tout(n) corresponding to multiple preset target temperatures (temperatures T(1)-T(m)). In index calculation steps S8-S11, a predetermined PMV index for any residential space Ri is calculated based on the multiple calculated blow-out temperatures Tout(1)-Tout(n). Based on the calculation results, it can be confirmed whether any residential space Ri is a PMV space. In other words, by setting the multiple blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated in temperature calculation steps S5 to S7 as the blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, any living space Ri can be made into a PMV space. In other words, when multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are installed in multiple living spaces R1 to Rm that are connected to each other, the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn (more specifically, the blowing temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n))) can be set so that any living space Ri among the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm becomes a PMV space.

[0126] Furthermore, the setting system 1 according to the first embodiment is a setting system that sets multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn installed in multiple living spaces R1 to Rm that are connected to each other in a facility 10. The setting system 1 includes a determination unit 61, a temperature calculation unit 62, and an index calculation unit 63. The determination unit 61 determines a relational equation (Equation 1) that defines the relationship between a temperature T(i) of one living space Ri among the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm and the discharge temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn by setting values of coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation. The temperature calculation unit 62 uses the relational equation determined by the determination unit 61 to calculate multiple discharge temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n), which are the discharge temperatures of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, to achieve multiple target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)), which are the target temperatures of each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm that have been previously set. The index calculation unit 63 uses the multiple blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the temperature calculation unit 62 to calculate a predetermined PMV index for any one of the multiple living spaces Ri among the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm.

[0127] This configuration provides the same effects as the setting method of the first embodiment.

[0128] (5) Aspects other than the setting system and setting method Functions equivalent to the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) and setting method according to embodiment 1 may be embodied in a (computer) program, a non-transitory recording medium on which a program is recorded, or the like.

[0129] A program according to one aspect is a program for causing one or more processors to execute the setting method described in the above embodiment.

[0130] A non-transitory recording medium according to one embodiment stores a program that causes one or more processors to execute the above-described setting method.

[0131] (6) Modifications Modifications of the first embodiment will be described. The following modifications can be implemented in combination.

[0132] (6-1) Modification 1 In the first embodiment, the case where the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the plurality of air conditioners M1 to Mn are optimized to achieve the target temperatures of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rn is exemplified. However, the optimization may be performed on factors other than the blow-out temperatures, such as temperature variation (standard deviation σ), humidity, and humidity variation.

[0133] (6-2) Variation 2 The execution entity of the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) or setting method of the present disclosure includes a computer system. The computer system is primarily composed of a processor and memory as hardware. The processor executes a program recorded in the memory of the computer system to realize the functions of the execution entity of the setting system 1 or setting method of the present disclosure. The program may be pre-recorded in the memory of the computer system, provided via a telecommunications line, or provided by being recorded on a non-transitory recording medium readable by the computer system, such as a memory card, optical disk, or hard disk drive. The processor of the computer system is composed of one or more electronic circuits including a semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) or a large-scale integrated circuit (LSI). The integrated circuits, such as ICs and LSIs, are referred to by different names depending on the degree of integration, and include integrated circuits called system LSIs, very large-scale integration (VLSI), or ultra-large-scale integration (ULSI). Furthermore, a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which is programmed after the LSI is manufactured, or a logic device capable of reconfiguring the connections within the LSI or the circuit partitions within the LSI, can also be employed as a processor. Multiple electronic circuits may be integrated into a single chip or distributed across multiple chips. Multiple chips may be integrated into a single device or distributed across multiple devices. The computer system referred to here includes a microcontroller having one or more processors and one or more memories. Therefore, the microcontroller is also composed of one or more electronic circuits, including a semiconductor integrated circuit or a large-scale integrated circuit.

[0134] Furthermore, it is not essential for the setting system 1 that multiple functions in the setting system 1 are concentrated in one housing (setting terminal 2), and the components of the setting system 1 may be distributed across multiple housings. Furthermore, at least some of the functions of the setting system 1, for example, some of the functions of the setting terminal 2, may be realized by the cloud (cloud computing) or the like.

[0135] Second Embodiment A setting system 1 and a setting method according to a second embodiment will be described.

[0136] The second embodiment is configured similarly to the first embodiment except for the method of selecting the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) in the calculation unit 614. Therefore, the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) according to the second embodiment is configured as shown in Fig. 3, similar to the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) according to the first embodiment.

[0137] In the second embodiment, the calculation process (calculation step) of the calculation unit 614 selects one set from among a plurality of sets of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) using a selection index Q. The selection index Q will be described in detail below.

[0138] When there are multiple pairs of values for the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i), selecting the most energy-efficient pair from among the multiple pairs can achieve both comfort in the living space and energy savings in the air conditioning equipment. To save energy in the air conditioning equipment, in the case of air conditioning, it is sufficient to select the pair from the multiple pairs that results in the highest living space temperature. However, when there are multiple living spaces and the temperatures of each living space are different, it is necessary to select a pair that takes into account not only the temperature of the living space but also the spatial volume of the living space. Specifically, for example, in the case of air conditioning, setting the temperature of a living space with a large spatial volume higher will increase the energy-saving effect.

[0139] For this reason, the priority Pi of a living space Ri is set to be proportional to the spatial volume Vi of the living space Ri. More specifically, the priority Pi is normalized so that the sum of the priorities Pi set for each of the multiple (all) living spaces R1 to Rm is "1." Specifically, the priority Pi is defined by Equation 10.

[0140]

[0141] In Equation 10, m is the number of living spaces.

[0142] Then, the selection index Q is defined by Equation 11.

[0143]

[0144] Then, a selection index Q is calculated for each of the plurality of pairs. When calculating the selection index Q for each of the plurality of pairs, the value of the temperature T(i) for each living space Ri used when calculating the values of S(i) and C(i) for each pair (i.e., the value of the temperature T(i) calculated in step S4-3) is used as the value of the temperatures T(1) to T(m) in equation 11. In this way, a plurality of selection indexes Q corresponding to each of the plurality of pairs are calculated. Then, in the case of cooling, the largest selection index Q among the plurality of selection indexes Q is selected, and in the case of heating, the smallest selection index Q among the plurality of selection indexes Q is selected. As a result, when selecting one of the plurality of pairs, energy conservation of the air conditioning equipment can be taken into consideration. This makes it possible to achieve both comfort in the living space and energy conservation of the air conditioning equipment.

[0145] Next, a specific example of calculation of the selection index Q will be described using the floor plan of FIG.

[0146] In the example of Fig. 1, the number of living spaces is three. As shown in Table 1, in the example of Fig. 1, for example, the priority P1 of living space R1 is 0.6, the priority P2 of living space R2 is 0.2, and the priority P3 of living space R3 is 0.2.

[0147]

[0148] Also, consider a case where there are three sets of values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) (the plurality of sets is three sets). These three sets are set F1, set F2, and set F3, respectively.

[0149] As shown in Table 1, the temperatures T(1) to T(3) of the three living spaces R1 to R3 in set F1 are 25.5°C, 25°C, and 26.0°C, respectively. The temperatures T(1) to T(3) of the three living spaces R1 to R3 in set F2 are 24.5°C, 25.5°C, and 26.5°C, respectively. The temperatures T(1) to T(3) of the three living spaces R1 to R3 in set F3 are 24°C, 25°C, and 24.5°C, respectively.

[0150] In such a case, when the selection index Q of each group F1 to F3 is calculated, as shown in Table 1, the selection index Q of group F1 is 25.5, the selection index Q of group F2 is 25.1, and the selection index Q of group F3 is 24.3.

[0151] Therefore, in the case of cooling, the set F1 that calculates the maximum selection index Q is selected from the plurality of sets (three sets). On the other hand, in the case of heating, the set F3 that calculates the minimum selection index Q is selected from the plurality of sets.

[0152] According to the setting system 1 and setting method of the second embodiment, in the calculation step, when there are multiple pairs of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i), a selection index Q is calculated for each of the multiple pairs, and the pair that calculates the maximum or minimum selection index Q is determined as one pair. Therefore, when there are multiple pairs of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i), a predetermined PMV index can be calculated taking into account the energy saving of multiple air conditioners. In other words, the discharge temperature of each of multiple air conditioners can be set so that any living space becomes a PMV space and is energy-efficient.

[0153] Third Embodiment A setting system 1 and a setting method according to a third embodiment will be described.

[0154] (1) Configuration Description Compared to embodiment 1, embodiment 3 is configured in the same way except that, instead of obtaining the training data from the results of a thermal simulation, the training data is obtained from the measurements of various sensors (first temperature sensor 71, second temperature sensor 72, and gas concentration sensor 73) installed in each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm.

[0155] As shown in Fig. 6, the setting system 1 (setting terminal 2) according to the third embodiment is configured similarly to the setting system 1 according to the first embodiment, except that it further includes a plurality of first temperature sensors 71, a plurality of second temperature sensors 72, and a plurality of gas concentration sensors 73, and that the processing content of the control unit 6 is different. For this reason, in the third embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and their description will be omitted. In Fig. 6, only one each of the first temperature sensor 71, second temperature sensor 72, and gas concentration sensor 73 is shown.

[0156] The first temperature sensors 71 correspond one-to-one to the living spaces R1 to Rm, are installed in the corresponding living space Ri, and measure the temperature T(i) of the living space Ri in which they are installed.

[0157] The second temperature sensors 72 correspond one-to-one to the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn, are installed in the corresponding air conditioning devices Mj, and measure the blowing temperature Tout(j) of the installed air conditioning devices Mj.

[0158] The gas concentration sensors 73 correspond one-to-one to the living spaces R1 to Rm, are installed in the corresponding living spaces Ri, and individually measure the concentrations of the multiple types of gases G1 to Gn present in the living spaces Ri in which they are installed. The multiple types of gases G1 to Gn are the concentrations of the gases blown out from the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn. In the third embodiment, the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are each configured to blow out gases containing distinguishable gases G1 to Gn (e.g., carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen, etc.).

[0159] The control unit 6 of the third embodiment includes a device setting unit 615 , an operation unit 616 , an acquisition unit 617 , a data processing unit 618 , and an output unit 619 .

[0160] The device setting unit 615 performs a device setting process (device setting step). In the device setting process, the device setting unit 615 sets the operating conditions for each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn based on user operations on the operation unit 5. For example, the operating conditions are conditions related to the operation of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn (i.e., conditions for operating (running) the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn). The operating conditions include, for example, the direction and strength of the blown air.

[0161] The operation unit 616 performs operation processing (operation step). In the operation processing, the operation unit 616 operates (operates) the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in accordance with the operating conditions set by the device setting unit 615. As a result, the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn each operate based on the operating conditions and blow out gas containing distinguishable gases G1 to Gn at a predetermined blowout temperature. The gases G1 to Gn blown out from each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn flow into each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm and affect the temperatures T(1) to T(m) of each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm.

[0162] The operation unit 616 maintains the blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(m) of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn for a fixed time (a fixed time until the temperatures T(1) to T(m) of each of the living spaces R1 to Rm become stable), and then repeatedly changes them. In this way, the operation unit 616 operates the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn while changing their respective blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(m), thereby enabling the acquisition of multiple pieces of training data in the acquisition process described below.

[0163] The acquisition unit 617 performs an acquisition process (acquisition step). In the acquisition process, the acquisition unit 617 acquires teacher data by acquiring measured values from each of the multiple first temperature sensors 71, the multiple second temperature sensors 72, and the multiple gas concentration sensors 73 while the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are operating by the operation unit 616. The teacher data is composed of, for example, the blow-out temperature Tout(i) of each air conditioning device Mi, the temperature T(i) of each living space Ri, and the normalized concentration N(i,j) of each gas Gj in each living space Ri.

[0164] More specifically, the acquisition unit 617 acquires, as teacher data, each temperature T(i) obtained from the measurement values of the multiple first temperature sensors 71. The acquisition unit 617 also acquires, as teacher data, each blowout temperature Tout(j) obtained from the measurement values of the multiple second temperature sensors 72. The acquisition unit 617 also calculates each normalized concentration N(i,j) from each gas concentration obtained from the measurement values of the multiple gas concentration sensors 73, and acquires each calculated normalized concentration N(i,j) as teacher data.

[0165] More specifically, in the acquisition process, the acquisition unit 617 acquires measurement values from each sensor (first temperature sensor 71, second temperature sensor 72, and gas concentration sensor 73) while the blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are maintained for a certain period of time as described above, and acquires teacher data from the acquired measurement values. As described above, each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn repeatedly maintains the blowing temperature for a certain period of time and then changes the blowing temperature. Therefore, in the acquisition process, the acquisition unit 617 acquires measurement values from each sensor at the certain period of time as described above, thereby acquiring multiple pieces of teacher data corresponding to different blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n).

[0166] The data processing unit 618 performs data processing (data processing step). The data processing unit 618 is configured similarly to the calculation unit 614, temperature calculation unit 62, and model creation unit 631, implementation unit 632, and PMV calculation unit 633 of the index calculation unit 63 in the first embodiment. That is, in the data processing, the data processing unit 618 quantifies the matrix A and vector C in Equation 1 based on the teacher data acquired by the acquisition unit 617 to determine Equation 1. Then, based on the determined Equation 1, the data processing unit 618 calculates a plurality of blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n), which are the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn corresponding to the target temperatures of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm for making an arbitrary living space Ri a desired PMV space. Then, the data processing unit 618 calculates the PMV space volume ratio of the arbitrary living space Ri using the calculated blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n).

[0167] The output unit 619 performs output processing (output step). The output unit 619 has the same configuration as the output unit 634 of the first embodiment. That is, in the output processing, the output unit 619 outputs the PMV space volume ratio calculated in the data processing to the display unit 4. This allows the user to check whether the PMV space volume ratio is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio (for example, 90%) by viewing the calculation result of the data processing (the PMV space volume ratio) on the display unit 4.

[0168] In the third embodiment, the device setting unit 615, operation unit 616, acquisition unit 617, and some functions of the data processing unit 618 (functions corresponding to the temperature calculation unit 62) of the control unit 6 constitute a determination unit. The determination unit determines the relational equation (for example, Equation 1 in the first embodiment) by setting values of coefficients (for example, each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation that defines the relationship between the temperature T(i) of one living space Ri among the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm and the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn.

[0169] Furthermore, in the third embodiment, the device setting process (device setting step), operation process (operation step), acquisition process (acquisition step), and some functions of the data processing (data processing step) of the control unit 6 (functions corresponding to the temperature calculation unit 62) constitute a determination process (determination step). In the determination process, the relationship between the temperature T(i) of one living space Ri among the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm and the blow-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn is defined by setting the values of the coefficients (e.g., each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation (e.g., Equation 1), thereby determining the relational equation.

[0170] In addition, in the third embodiment, some functions of the data processing unit 618 of the control unit 6 (functions corresponding to the temperature calculation unit 62) constitute a temperature calculation unit. The temperature calculation unit calculates a plurality of blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) for achieving a plurality of preset target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) using the relational expression (Equation 1) determined by the determination unit. The plurality of target temperatures are the target temperatures for each of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm. The plurality of blowing temperatures are the blowing temperatures for each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn.

[0171] In the third embodiment, a part of the functions of the control unit 6 in the data processing (data processing step) (functions corresponding to the temperature calculation unit 62) constitutes a temperature calculation process (temperature calculation step). The temperature calculation process uses the relational expression (Equation 1) established in the establishment process to calculate the plurality of blown-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) for achieving the plurality of preset target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)).

[0172] In the third embodiment, some functions of the data processing unit 618 (functions corresponding to the model creation unit 631, the implementation unit 632, and the PMV calculation unit 633 of the index calculation unit 63) and the output unit 619 constitute an index calculation unit. The index calculation unit calculates a predetermined PMV index for any living space Ri using the multiple blown-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated by the temperature calculation unit.

[0173] In the third embodiment, some functions of the data processing (data processing step) of the control unit 6 (functions corresponding to the model creation unit 631, the implementation unit 632, and the PMV calculation unit 633 of the index calculation unit 63) and the output processing (output step) of the control unit 6 constitute an index calculation process (index calculation step). The index calculation process calculates a predetermined PMV index for any living space Ri using the multiple blown-out temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) calculated in the temperature calculation process.

[0174] (2) Description of Operation The operation of the setting system 1 of the third embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.

[0175] The plurality of first temperature sensors 71 and the plurality of gas concentration sensors 73 are installed in advance in the corresponding living spaces Ri.

[0176] The setting system 1 performs a device setting process (device setting step) (S20). In step S20, the setting system 1 sets the operating conditions (such as the blowing direction and blowing air strength) of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn based on the user's operation on the operation unit 5.

[0177] Next, the setting system 1 performs an operation process (operation step) (S21). In step S21, the setting system 1 operates (runs) the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn at the determined blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) in accordance with the operating conditions set in step S20. As a result, the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn each operate based on the operating conditions and blow out gas containing mutually distinguishable gases G1 to Gn at the determined blowing temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n).

[0178] Next, the setting system 1 performs an acquisition process (acquisition step) (S22). In step S22, the setting system 1 acquires a plurality of teacher data by acquiring measured values from the plurality of first temperature sensors 71, the plurality of second temperature sensors 72, and the plurality of gas concentration sensors 73 while the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are operating in step S21. One piece of teacher data is composed of, for example, the blowing temperature Tout(i) of each air conditioning device Mi, the temperature T(i) of each living space Ri, and the normalized concentration N(i,j) of gas Gj in each living space Ri.

[0179] Next, the setting system 1 performs data processing (data processing step) (S23). In step S23, the setting system 1 quantifies the matrix A and vector C in Equation 1 based on the training data acquired in step S22 to determine Equation 1. Furthermore, in the data processing, based on the determined Equation 9 (Equation 9 is substantially the same as Equation 1), the setting system 1 calculates a plurality of blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n), which are the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn corresponding to the respective target temperatures of the plurality of living spaces R1 to Rm for turning any living space Ri into a desired PMV space. Then, in step S23, the setting system 1 calculates the PMV space volume ratio of any living space Ri using the calculated blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n).

[0180] Next, the setting system 1 performs an output process (output step) (S24). In step S24, the setting system 1 outputs the PMV space volume ratio calculated in step S23 to the display unit 4. This allows the user to check whether the PMV space volume ratio is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio (e.g., 90%) by viewing the calculation result of the data processing (the PMV space volume ratio) on the display unit 4.

[0181] (3) Main Effects In the setting method according to the third embodiment, a gas concentration sensor 73, a first temperature sensor 71, and a second temperature sensor 72 are installed in each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm. The gas concentration sensor 73 measures the gas concentration of gases G1 to Gn blown out from and flowing into each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in the living space R1 to Rm in which the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm are installed. The first temperature sensor 71 measures the temperatures T(1) to T(m) of the living space R1 to Rm in which the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm are installed. The second temperature sensor 72 measures the blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) of the air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in which the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are installed. The setting method further includes an operating step S21 and an acquiring step S22. In an operation step S21, the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn are operated to cause each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn to blow out mutually distinguishable gases G1 to Gn. In an acquisition step S22, measurements are acquired from the gas concentration sensor 73, the first temperature sensor 71, and the second temperature sensor 72. In a data processing step (the determination step), the values of the coefficients and the constants in the relational equation are set based on the measurements acquired in the acquisition step S22.

[0182] According to this configuration, since the measured values (actual measured values) of the various sensors (gas concentration sensor (73), first temperature sensor (71), and second temperature sensor (72)) are used, the coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the above relational equation (Equation 1) can be set more accurately.

[0183] In the setting system 1 according to the third embodiment, a gas concentration sensor 73, a first temperature sensor 71, and a second temperature sensor 72 are installed in each of the multiple living spaces R1 to Rm. The gas concentration sensor 73 measures the gas concentration of gases G1 to Gn blown out from and flowing into each of the multiple air conditioning devices M1 to Mn in the living space R1 to Rm that is installed in that living space. The first temperature sensor 71 measures temperatures T(1) to T(m) in the living space R1 to Rm that is installed in that living space. The second temperature sensor 72 measures blowout temperatures Tout(1) to Tout(n) in the living space M1 to Rm that is installed in that living space. The setting system 1 further includes an operating unit 616 and an acquiring unit 617. An operation unit 616 operates a plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn to cause each of the plurality of air conditioning devices M1 to Mn to blow out mutually distinguishable gases G1 to Gn. An acquisition unit 617 acquires measurement values from the gas concentration sensor 73, the first temperature sensor 71, and the second temperature sensor 72. A data processing unit 618 (the determination unit) sets values of the coefficients and constants in the relational expression (Equation 1) based on the measurement values acquired by the acquisition unit 617.

[0184] This configuration provides the same effects as the setting method of the third embodiment.

[0185] (Summary) As described above, the present specification discloses the following aspects.

[0186] The setting method of the first aspect is a setting method for setting a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) installed in a plurality of interconnected living spaces (R1 to Rm) in a facility (10). The setting method includes determination steps (S1 to S4), temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7), and index calculation steps (S8 to S11). In the determination steps (S1 to S4), a relational equation (Equation 1) defining the relationship between the temperature (T(i)) of one living space (Ri) among the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm) and the discharge temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) is determined by setting values of coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation. In the temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7), the above relational expressions established in the determination steps (S1 to S4) are used to calculate a plurality of outlet temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) that are the respective outlet temperatures of a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) to achieve a plurality of target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) that are the respective target temperatures of a plurality of preset living spaces (R1 to Rm). In the index calculation steps (S8 to S11), a predetermined PMV index for any living space (Ri) of the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm) is calculated using the plurality of outlet temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) calculated in the temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7).

[0187] According to this configuration, the above relational expression indicates that the temperature T(i) of one residential space (Ri) among the multiple residential spaces (R1-Rm) is given by the sum of the temperatures contributed by the respective blowout temperatures (Tout(1)-Tout(n)) of the multiple air conditioning devices (M1-Mn). In the temperature calculation steps (S5-S7), the above relational expression is used to calculate multiple blowout temperatures (Tout(1)-Tout(n)) corresponding to multiple preset target temperatures (temperatures T(1)-T(m)). In the index calculation steps (S8-S11), a predetermined PMV index for any residential space (Ri) is calculated based on the multiple calculated blowout temperatures (Tout(1)-Tout(n)). Based on the calculation result, it is possible to confirm whether any residential space (Ri) is a PMV space. That is, by setting the multiple blowing temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) calculated in the temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7) as the blowing temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of the multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn), any living space (Ri) can be made into a PMV space. In other words, in a case where multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn) are installed in multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm) that are connected to each other, the multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn) (more specifically, the blowing temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n))) can be set so that any living space (Ri) among the multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm) becomes a PMV space.

[0188] In the setting method of the second aspect, in the first aspect, in the determination steps (S1 to S4), the values of the coefficients and constants of the above relational equations are calculated by performing a thermal simulation of the mixing ratio of gases (gases G1 to Gn) blown out and flowing in from each of a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) in each of a plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm).

[0189] According to this configuration, the values of the coefficients and constants included in the relational expressions can be accurately calculated in a thermal simulation.

[0190] In the setting method of the third aspect, in the first or second aspect, in the index calculation steps (S8 to S11), a thermal simulation is performed based on the airflow generated by the blowing air of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn), thereby calculating a predetermined PMV index for any one of the plurality of living spaces (Ri) among the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm).

[0191] According to this configuration, a predetermined PMV index can be accurately calculated in the thermal simulation.

[0192] In the setting method of the fourth aspect, in any one of the first to third aspects, the above relational expression is defined by Equation 1.

[0193]

[0194] T in Equation 1 is a vector having T(i) as its component in the i-th row and 1st column. A in Equation 1 is a matrix having A(i,j) as its component in the i-th row and j-th column. Tout in Equation 1 is a vector having Tout(i) as its component in the i-th row and 1st column. C in Equation 1 is a vector having C(i) as its component in the i-th row and 1st column. T(i) is the temperature of the i-th living space (Ri) among multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm). Tout(i) is the discharge temperature of the i-th air conditioner Mi among multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn). A(i,j) is the proportion by which the discharge temperature Tout(j) contributes to the temperature T(i). C(i) is a constant term related to the i-th living space (Ri). The coefficient is the proportion A(i,j). The constant is the constant term C(i).

[0195] According to this configuration, when the above relational expression is defined as Equation 1, it is possible to set the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) (more specifically, the discharge temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n))) installed in the plurality of interconnected living spaces (R1 to Rm) so that any one of the living spaces (Ri) among the plurality of interconnected living spaces (R1 to Rm) becomes the desired PMV space.

[0196] In the setting method of the fifth aspect, in the fourth aspect, the ratio A(i,j) is the product of the first coefficient S(i) and the second coefficient, the normalized concentration N(i,j). The normalized concentration N(i,j) is the normalized concentration of the gas (gas Gj) blown out from the jth air conditioning device (Mj) into the ith living space (Ri) and flowing in. The first coefficient S(i) is a coefficient related to the ith living space (Ri).

[0197] The determination steps (S1 to S4) include a condition setting step (S1), a model creation step (S2), an implementation step (S3), and a calculation step (S4). The condition setting step (S1) sets thermal environment conditions including building structure information of the facility (10) and specification information of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn). The model creation step (S2) creates a thermal simulation model based on the airflow generated by the blown air of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) based on the thermal environment conditions set in the condition setting step (S1). The implementation step (S3) acquires training data by performing a thermal simulation using the thermal simulation model created in the model creation step (S2). In the calculation step (S4), the normalized concentration N(i,j), temperature T(i), and blow-out temperature Tout(i) are calculated based on the teacher data acquired in the implementation step (S3), and from these calculation results, the values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) are calculated using Equation 1.

[0198] According to this configuration, when the ratio A(i,j) is the product of the first coefficient S(i) and the normalized concentration N(i,j), the values of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) can be determined by thermal simulation.

[0199] In the setting method of the sixth aspect, in the fifth aspect, in the implementation step (S3), a plurality of teacher data are acquired. In the calculation step (S4), a plurality of pairs of first coefficients S(i) and constant terms C(i) corresponding to the plurality of teacher data are calculated, and one pair is selected from the calculated plurality of pairs.

[0200] According to this configuration, by acquiring a plurality of pieces of training data, a plurality of pairs of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i) can be acquired, and the optimum pair can be selected from the plurality of pairs.

[0201] In the setting method of the seventh aspect, the selection index Q in the sixth aspect is defined by Equation 2.

[0202]

[0203] P(i) in Equation 2 is the normalized priority Pi set for the i-th living space (Ri) among the multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm). T(i) in Equation 2 is the temperature of the i-th living space (Ri). m in Equation 2 is the number of multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm). In the calculation step (S4), if there are multiple pairs of first coefficients S(i) and constant terms C(i), a selection index Q is calculated for each of the multiple pairs, and the pair that calculates the maximum or minimum selection index Q among the multiple pairs is determined to be one pair.

[0204] According to this configuration, when there are multiple pairs of the first coefficient S(i) and the constant term C(i), it is possible to calculate a predetermined PMV index taking into account the energy saving of multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn). In other words, it is possible to set the blowout temperature of each of the multiple air conditioners (M1 to Mn) so that any given living space (Ri) becomes a PMV space and is energy-efficient.

[0205] In the setting method of the eighth aspect, in any one of the fifth to seventh aspects, in the thermal simulation performed in the implementation step (S3), distinguishable gases (G1 to Gn) are blown out from each of a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn). In the calculation step (S4), the normalized concentration N(i, j) is the normalized concentration of the gas (Gj) blown out from the jth air conditioning device (Mj) in the i-th living space (Ri) and introduced into it.

[0206] According to this configuration, the normalized concentration N(i, j) can be easily calculated in the thermal simulation.

[0207] In the setting method of the ninth aspect, in the eighth aspect, the normalized concentration N(i, j) is defined by Equation 3.

[0208]

[0209] D(i,j) in Equation 3 is the concentration of the gas (Gj) blown out from the jth air conditioning device Mj in the i-th living space (Ri) and flowing in. n in Equation 3 is the number of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn).

[0210] According to this configuration, the normalized concentration N(i,j) can be easily calculated from the gas concentration D(i,j).

[0211] In the setting method of the tenth aspect, in any one of the second to ninth aspects,

[0212]

[0213] A in Equation 4 -1 is the inverse matrix of matrix A. In the temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7), Equation 1 determined in the determination steps (S1 to S4) is transformed into Equation 4, and multiple blowout temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) are calculated using Equation 4.

[0214] According to this configuration, Equation 4 expresses the vector Tout as a function of the vector T, so that the discharge temperature (vector Tout) of each of the multiple air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) can be calculated from the temperature (vector T) of each of the multiple living spaces (R1 to Rm) with a simple calculation.

[0215] In the setting method of the eleventh aspect, in any one of the first to tenth aspects, in the temperature calculation steps (S5 to S7), a plurality of target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) are preset based on at least one of a preset amount of clothing, an amount of activity, humidity, radiant temperature, and wind speed.

[0216] According to this configuration, it is possible to easily set a plurality of target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) for turning a plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm) into PMV spaces.

[0217] In a setting method of a twelfth aspect, in any one of the first to eleventh aspects, the predetermined PMV index is a PMV space volume ratio. The volume of an arbitrary living space (Ri) is defined as V1. The space volume within the arbitrary living space (Ri) having a PMV value within a predetermined range is defined as V2. The PMV space volume ratio is defined as 100×V1 / V2 [%].

[0218] According to this configuration, the PMV space volume ratio can be used as the predetermined PMV index, which makes it easy to check whether any given living space (Ri) is a PMV space.

[0219] In the setting method of the thirteenth aspect, in the first aspect, a gas concentration sensor (73), a first temperature sensor (71), and a second temperature sensor (72) are installed in each of a plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm). The gas concentration sensor (73) measures the gas concentration of gases (G1 to Gn) blown out from and flowing into each of a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) in the living space (R1 to Rm) in which the living space is installed among the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm). The first temperature sensor (71) measures the temperature (T(1) to T(m)) of the living space (R1 to Rm) in which the living space is installed among the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm). The second temperature sensor (72) measures the blowout temperature (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of the air conditioning device (M1 to Mn) in which the living space is installed among the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn). The setting method further includes an operating step (S21) and an acquiring step (S22). In an operation step (S21), a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) are operated to cause each of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) to blow out mutually distinguishable gases (G1 to Gn). In an acquisition step (S22), measured values of the gas concentration sensor (73), the first temperature sensor (71), and the second temperature sensor (72) are acquired. In the determination step, values of the coefficient and the constant of the relational expression are set based on the measured values acquired in the acquisition step (S22).

[0220] According to this configuration, the measured values (actual measured values) of the various sensors (gas concentration sensor (73), first temperature sensor (71), and second temperature sensor (72)) are used, so that the coefficients and constants included in the relational expressions can be set more accurately.

[0221] A program according to a fourteenth aspect causes one or more processors to execute the setting method according to any one of the first to thirteenth aspects. According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a program for executing the setting method.

[0222] A setting system (1) of a fifteenth aspect is a setting system for setting a plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) installed in a plurality of interconnected residential spaces (R1 to Rm) in a facility (10). The setting system (1) has a determination unit (61), a temperature calculation unit (62), and an index calculation unit (63). The determination unit (61) determines a relational equation (Equation 1) that defines a relationship between a temperature (T(i)) of one residential space (Ri) among the plurality of residential spaces (R1 to Rm) and the discharge temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of each of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn) by setting values of coefficients (each component of matrix A) and constants (each component of vector C) included in the relational equation. A temperature calculation unit (62) calculates a plurality of blow-out temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)), which are blow-out temperatures of each of the plurality of air conditioners (M1 to Mn), for realizing a plurality of target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)), which are target temperatures of a plurality of preset living spaces (R1 to Rm), using the relational expression determined by the determination unit (61). An index calculation unit (63) calculates a predetermined PMV index for any living space (Ri) of the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm), using the plurality of blow-out temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) calculated by the temperature calculation unit (62).

[0223] According to this configuration, the above relational expression indicates that the temperature (T(i)) of one living space (Ri) among the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm) is given by the sum of the temperatures contributed by the respective blow-out temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of the plurality of air conditioning devices (M1 to Mn). The temperature calculation unit (62) calculates a plurality of blow-out temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) corresponding to a plurality of preset target temperatures (temperatures T(1) to T(m)) using the above relational expression, and the index calculation unit (63) calculates a predetermined PMV index for an arbitrary living space (Ri) based on the calculated plurality of blow-out temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)). This calculation result makes it possible to confirm whether the arbitrary living space (Ri) is a PMV space. That is, by setting the plurality of blowout temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) calculated by the temperature calculation unit (62) as the respective blowout temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n)) of the plurality of air conditioners (M1 to Mn), any living space (Ri) can be made into a PMV space. In other words, in a case where a plurality of air conditioners (M1 to Mn) are installed in a plurality of mutually connected living spaces (R1 to Rm), the plurality of air conditioners (M1 to Mn) (more specifically, the blowout temperatures (Tout(1) to Tout(n))) can be set so that any living space (Ri) of the plurality of living spaces (R1 to Rm) becomes a PMV space.
