[0027] The embodiments are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0028] In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more clearly understood, the present application is described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. In this article, relational terms such as "first" and "second" are only used to distinguish one component with the same name from another, and do not necessarily require or imply any actual relationship or order between these components. It should be noted that the "limited connection" in this application includes threaded connection, clip connection, etc., and the "fixed connection" in this application includes welding, bonding, vulcanization fixation, riveting, insert injection molding, etc.

[0029] Figures 1 to 11 show a valve device 100, which includes a valve body assembly 1, a valve core assembly 2, a drive assembly 6, and a control assembly 8. The control assembly 8 includes a stator 81. The valve body assembly 1 has an accommodating cavity 10, and at least part of the valve core assembly 2 is located in the accommodating cavity 10. The valve core assembly 2 can rotate under the drive of the drive assembly 6.

[0030] The axial direction of the valve device 100 is defined, and the axial direction of the valve device 100 is indicated by H in FIG. The rotation axis of the valve core assembly 2 is defined, and the rotation axis of the valve core assembly 2 is indicated by C1 in FIG. 3 . The valve core assembly 2 is rotatable about the rotation axis C1 . The axial direction of the valve device 100 is parallel to the extension direction of the rotation axis of the valve core assembly 2 , and the central axis of the valve device 100 coincides with the rotation axis of the valve core assembly 2 .

[0031] As shown in Figures 3 and 7 , the valve core assembly 2 includes a shaft portion 21 and a main body portion 22. The main body portion 22 and at least a portion of the shaft portion 21 are located in the accommodating chamber 10. The shaft portion 21 and the main body portion 22 are separate components. The main body portion 22 has a hole 221 extending axially along the valve device 100. A portion of the shaft portion 21 is located in the hole 221. In the radial direction of the valve device 100, the outer periphery of the shaft portion 21 contacts or has a clearance fit with the wall forming the hole 221. The valve core assembly 2 includes a communication channel 23, a portion of which is located in the main body portion 22, while the remaining portion is located in the shaft portion 21. The shaft portion 21 and the main body portion 22 are separate components. As shown in Figure 12 , during installation of the valve core assembly 2, the main body portion 22 and the shaft portion 21 can be separately installed in the valve body assembly 11. This reduces the installation space required for the valve core assembly 2 and alleviates any structural restrictions on the installation of the valve core assembly 2 caused by the valve body assembly 11. In other words, it reduces the difficulty of installing the valve core assembly 2 and improves the versatility of the valve core assembly 2. In addition, a portion of the connecting channel 23 is located in the shaft portion 21. Compared with a solid shaft portion 21, it can fully utilize the space inside the shaft portion 21 and reduce flow resistance. It should be noted that the "split arrangement" in this application does not mean that the two must not be in contact, but that there is at least a clear interface between the two. The description of "the hole extends along the axial direction of the valve device" in this application does not mean that the wall forming the hole 221 extends strictly along the axial direction, but rather a general extension direction, that is, the hole 221 can be divided into several sections with different diameters, and the angle between the extension direction of the hole and the axial direction of the valve device can be within a range of less than 15°.

[0032] Moreover, the main body 22 and the shaft 21 are separately provided, so that the main body 22 and the shaft 21 can be processed and formed separately, which can reduce the difficulty of processing the valve core assembly 2. Specifically, the outer periphery of the main body 22 is spherical, and the main body 22 can be formed into a solid sphere first, which is convenient for polishing the surface of the main body 22, and then the main body 22 is cut. The outer periphery of the shaft 21 is cylindrical as a whole, which is convenient for lathing and can reduce the difficulty of processing the shaft 21. In other embodiments, the outer periphery of the main body 22 can be cylindrical or conical, and the outer periphery of the shaft 21 can be prismatic or conical. It should be noted that in the present application, "the hole 221 extends along the axial direction of the valve device 100" is not limited to the embodiment in which the cross-sectional shape of the hole 221 remains unchanged from one end to the other, but also includes the case in which the hole 221 is divided into at least two sections and each section has a different cross-sectional size.

[0033] As shown in Figures 3-7, the valve device 100 includes a drive assembly 6. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the communication channel 23 has a first opening 231 at one end of the shaft portion 21 relatively remote from the drive assembly 6, and a second opening 232 at the outer periphery of the main body portion 22. The shaft portion 21 is in driving connection with the main body portion 22, while the end of the shaft portion 21 relatively close to the drive assembly 6 is also in driving connection with the drive assembly 6. In this way, one end of the shaft portion 21 is used for driving connection with the drive assembly 6, while the other end of the shaft portion 21 is used for fluid circulation. This allows for more efficient utilization of the structure of the shaft portion 21, reducing the volume or design complexity of the shaft portion 21, and also reduces flow resistance compared to a solution in which the drive assembly 6 and the second opening 232 are located on the same side. Furthermore, when the radial dimension of the shaft portion 21 is relatively large, the drive assembly 6 is in driving connection with the shaft portion 21, which can reduce the radial dimension of the drive assembly 6 at the transmission point compared to a solution in which the drive assembly 6 is in driving connection with the main body portion 22. In this embodiment, the drive assembly 6 includes a magnetic rotor, a transmission gear, and the like. In other embodiments, the drive assembly 6 may also be driven by other means, such as a cylinder or manual drive. The shaft 21 slides in engagement with the valve body assembly 1. The drive assembly 6 drives the shaft 21 to rotate, thereby driving the main body 22 to rotate.

[0034] As shown in FIG. 13 , in another embodiment, along the axial direction of the valve device 100 , one end of the main body 22 relatively close to the drive assembly 6 is in transmission connection with the drive assembly 6 , and the shaft 21 is not directly in transmission with the drive assembly 6 .

[0035] As shown in Figure 3, in this embodiment, the valve body assembly 1 has a third through hole 111. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, one side of the third through hole 111 has an opening on the wall forming the accommodating cavity 10, and the other side has an opening on the outer surface of the valve body assembly 1. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the third through hole 111 and the drive assembly 6 are located on the same side of the main body 22, so that a part of the drive assembly 6 can extend from the third through hole 111 into the accommodating cavity 10 and be transmission-connected to the shaft portion 21.

[0036] Define a first plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the valve device 100. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the projection of the shaft portion 21 onto the first plane is located inward of the projection of the third through-hole 111 onto the first plane. This allows the shaft portion 21 to be inserted into the accommodating cavity 10 through the third through-hole 111. In this embodiment, along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the projection of the third through-hole 111 onto the first plane is located inward of the projection of the main body portion 22 onto the first plane. Compared to an embodiment in which the third through-hole 111 is radially larger than the main body portion 22, this prevents the third through-hole 111 from occupying excessive radial space, allowing more radial space for axial sealing between the drive assembly 6 and the valve body assembly 1, thereby indirectly reducing the radial dimensions of the drive assembly 6. Specifically, the valve body assembly 1 includes a valve body 11 and a cover 12. The valve body 11 and the cover 12 together form the accommodating cavity 10. The valve body 11 is a unitary structure. The third through-hole 111 is located in the valve body 11. The valve body 11 has an opening on one radial side for receiving the main body portion 22. The valve body 11 includes a step portion 112. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the step portion 112 faces away from the main body portion 22. The step portion 112 is located on the outer periphery of the third through hole 111. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the sealing ring 113 is located between the drive assembly 6 and the step portion 112, so that the drive assembly 6 and the step portion 112 are sealed.

[0037] As shown in Figures 5-7, the shaft portion 21 has a first channel 211, which is part of the connecting passage 23 and extends axially along the valve device 100. This facilitates processing and allows the diameter of the first channel 211 to be larger, more fully utilizing the internal space of the shaft portion 21 and reducing flow resistance. The first channel 211 has a third opening 233 on the outer periphery of the shaft portion 21. The first channel 211 has a first opening 231 at the end of the shaft portion 21 that is relatively far from the drive assembly 6. The main body 22 has a second channel 222, which is part of the connecting passage 23 and extends radially along the valve device 100. This allows the diameter of the second channel 222 to be larger, reducing flow resistance. The second channel 222 has a fourth opening 234 in the wall forming the hole 221. The third opening 233 is disposed opposite and communicates with the fourth opening 234. The second channel 222 has a second opening 232 in the outer periphery of the main body 22. In this embodiment, the third opening 233 and the fourth opening 234 are the same or substantially the same size, and the edges of the third opening 233 and the fourth opening 234 are aligned to reduce fluid resistance.

[0038] In this embodiment, the hole 221 is a through hole and extends through the main body 22 along the axial direction of the valve device 100. The shaft portion 21 includes a first section 212, a second section 213, and a third section 214. The second section 213 is located in the hole 221, while the third section 214 is not located in the hole 221. The first section 212 is not located in the hole 221. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the first section 212 is closer to the drive assembly 6 than the second section 213, and is in driving connection with the drive assembly 6. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the third section 214 is farther away from the drive assembly 6 than the second section 213. The outer periphery of the third section 214 abuts or is provided with a gap with the valve body assembly 1, and the outer periphery of the third section 214 slides with the valve body assembly 1. Thus, along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the second section 213 extends from one end of the main body 22 to the other end, so that both axial ends of the main body 22 are radially limited by the same shaft portion 21, thereby improving the coaxiality of the axial ends of the main body 22. In other embodiments, the hole 221 may not penetrate the main body 22 , and the hole 221 may only have an opening at one axial end of the main body 22 .

[0039] In this embodiment, the outer periphery of the second section 213 extends along the axial direction of the valve device 100, and the outer periphery of the second section 213 cooperates with the wall gap forming the hole 221, so that the shaft portion 21 and the main body portion 22 can slide relative to each other along the axial direction of the valve device 100, making it more difficult for the axial movement of the shaft portion 21 to be transmitted to the main body portion 22, thereby reducing the vibration of the main body portion 22 and facilitating the shaft portion 21 to pass through the main body portion 22 during installation.

[0040] As shown in FIG3 , the valve device 100 includes a valve seat assembly 5 . Along the radial direction of the valve device 100 , one side of the valve seat assembly 5 abuts against the outer periphery of the main body 22 , and the other side abuts against the valve body assembly 1 , thereby providing a seal. In this embodiment, along the radial direction of the valve device 100 , a portion of the shaft portion 21 contacts or has a clearance fit with the valve body assembly 1 , allowing the valve body assembly 1 to radially limit the shaft portion 21 , and the shaft portion 21 to radially limit the main body 22 . This minimizes radial deflection of the main body 22 when the main body 22 is subjected to unilateral radial pressure or uneven radial loads. This reduces the extrusion of the valve seat assembly 5 by the main body 22 , thereby reducing the risk of damage to the valve seat assembly 5 .

[0041] Specifically, along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the projection of the third section 214 on the first plane is located inward of the projection of the second section 213 on the first plane. This facilitates the third section 214 to be inserted into the hole 221 from one side of the main body 22 and then exit from the other side of the main body 22. In this embodiment, along the radial direction of the valve device 100, the second section 213 and the third section 214 have the same size, which can make the diameter of the first channel 211 more uniform.

[0042] As shown in Figures 3-7, the drive assembly 6 includes an output component 61, which is drivingly connected to the first section 212. The valve device 100 includes an elastic component 3. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, one side of the elastic component 3 abuts the output component 61, and the other side of the elastic component 3 abuts the first section 212. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the first section 212 abuts the main body 22. The provision of the elastic component 3 can reduce the movement of the shaft 21 under vibration conditions.

[0043] The main body 22 has a first limiting groove 223. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the main body 22 has the first limiting groove 223. The first limiting groove 223 is recessed at one end of the main body 22 that is relatively close to the drive assembly 6. Along the radial direction of the valve device 100, a portion of the first section 212 protrudes outward relative to the second section 213, and at least a portion of the first section 212 is located in the first limiting groove 223. The walls forming the first limiting groove 223 include a first side wall 224. The first section 212 includes a first mating wall 2122. Along the radial direction of the valve device 100, the first mating wall 2122 is recessed into the outer periphery of the first section 212. The shape of the first mating wall 2122 complements that of the first side wall 224, and the first mating wall 2122 abuts or has a clearance fit with the first side wall 224. Due to the abutment or clearance fit between the first mating wall 2122 and the first side wall 224, the first section 212 is drivingly connected to the main body 22. In this embodiment, the first side wall 224 is parallel to the axial direction of the valve device 100 , and the first limiting groove 223 extends along the radial direction of the valve device 100 . The structure is simple and easy to process.

[0044] The first section 212 includes a stepped surface portion 2121. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the stepped surface portion 2121 faces away from the drive assembly 6. The walls forming the first limiting groove 223 include a first bottom wall 225. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the stepped surface portion 2121 abuts against the first bottom wall 225, thereby axially positioning the shaft portion 21 and the main body portion 22 and fully utilizing the structure of the first limiting groove 223. Specifically, the hole 221 opens into the first bottom wall 225. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the projection of the first mating wall 2122 onto the first plane is substantially tangent to the projection of the second section 213 onto the first plane.

[0045] The first section 212 includes a second limiting groove 215, which extends radially along the valve device 100. The second limiting groove 215 is recessed at an end of the first section 212 that is relatively close to the drive assembly 6. At least a portion of the output component 61 is located in the second limiting groove 215. The output component 61 includes a second mating wall 63, which is recessed into the outer periphery of the output component 61 along the radial direction of the valve device 100. The wall forming the second limiting groove 215 includes a second side wall 216. The shape of the second mating wall 63 is complementary to the shape of the second side wall 216, and the second mating wall 63 abuts or has a clearance fit with the second side wall 216. Due to the abutment or clearance fit between the second mating wall 63 and the second side wall 216, the output component 61 is in transmission connection with the first section 212. In this embodiment, the second side wall 216 is parallel to the axial direction of the valve device 100, and the second limiting groove 215 extends radially along the valve device 100. The structure is simple and easy to manufacture.

[0046] As shown in FIG8 , the output component 61 has a groove 62 recessed in one end of the output component 61 relatively close to the main body 22. The groove 62 extends axially along the valve device 100, and at least a portion of the elastic component 3 is located in the groove 62. The location of at least a portion of the elastic component 3 in the groove 62 of the output component 61 can reduce the installation space of the elastic component 3. Specifically, the elastic component 3 is a coil spring. In other embodiments, the elastic component 3 may be located on the outer periphery of the output component 61.

[0047] As shown in Figures 5-7, the third section 214 has a first through hole 2141, one end of which communicates with the communication channel 23. The other end of the first through hole 2141 has a fifth opening 235 on the outer periphery of the third section 214. The portion of the third section 214 that slides with the valve body assembly 1 is defined as a sliding surface. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, at least a portion of the fifth opening 235 is located between the main body 22 and the sliding surface. It should be noted that the accommodating chamber 10 includes an interlayer chamber 101, which is defined as being surrounded by the outer periphery of the valve core assembly 2 and the walls forming the accommodating chamber 10. The communication channel 23 can communicate with the interlayer chamber 101 through the first through hole 2141. When the fluid pressure in the communication channel 23 is greater than that in the interlayer chamber 101, the fluid pressures in the communication channel 23 and the interlayer chamber 101 can be balanced more quickly, thereby reducing the occurrence of "pressure buildup." For example, if the pressure in the connecting channel 23 is greater than the pressure in the interlayer cavity 101, the valve core assembly 2 will be pushed toward the drive assembly 6 by the fluid pressure, and the third section 214 will expand radially along the valve device 100, thereby increasing the friction between the third section 214 and the valve body assembly 1.

[0048] The valve body assembly 1 includes a gasket component 4. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the drive assembly 6 and the gasket component 4 are located on either side of the main body 22. The gasket component 4 has a second through-hole 41 extending axially along the valve device 100. At least a portion of the third section 214 is located within the second through-hole 41. The outer periphery of the third section 214 slidably engages with the wall forming the second through-hole 41. The gasket component 4 is made of one or more materials selected from fluoroplastic, polyetheretherketone, and nylon. The gasket component 4 reduces friction between the shaft 21 and the valve body assembly 1, thereby reducing the torque required to drive the valve core assembly 2.

[0049] As shown in FIG5 , along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the third section 214 is spaced from the valve body 11 relative to the end of the main body 22, thereby preventing direct friction between the shaft 21 and the valve body 11. In this embodiment, the valve body 11 and the shaft 21 are made of metal, and this arrangement prevents direct metal-to-metal friction, thereby reducing wear.

[0050] As shown in Figures 3, 5, 10 and 11, the valve body assembly 1 has a first channel 14, a second channel 15 and a third channel 16. The first channel 14 has a first communicating port 141 in the wall forming the accommodating chamber 10, the second channel 15 has a second communicating port 151 in the wall forming the accommodating chamber 10, and the third channel 16 is communicated with the first opening 231. Along the radial direction of the valve device 100, the first communicating port 141 is located on one side of the main body 22, and the second communicating port 151 is located on the other side of the main body 22. By controlling the valve core assembly 2, the second opening 232 can be selectively communicated with one of the first communicating port 141 and the second communicating port 151.

[0051] In this embodiment, there are two valve seat assemblies 5, one of which surrounds the first connecting port 141, and the other surrounds the second connecting port 151. Along the radial direction of the valve device 100, the two valve seat assemblies 5 are respectively located on both sides of the main body 22, so that the valve core assembly 2 can be subjected to more uniform force in the radial direction.

[0052] The valve body assembly 1 further comprises a fourth passage 17, and the second passage 15 has an opening in the wall forming the fourth passage 17. The valve device 100 includes a sensor 7, a portion of which is located in the fourth passage 17. The sensor 7 is capable of sensing parameters of the fluid in the fourth passage 17. In this embodiment, the sensor 7 is a temperature and pressure sensor. In other embodiments, the sensor 7 may be a temperature sensor or a pressure sensor.

[0053] Valve device 100 includes a control assembly 8, which includes a housing 82, a stator 81, and an electronic control board 83. At least a portion of stator 81 is sleeved around the periphery of drive assembly 6. Stator 81 is electrically and / or signal-connected to electronic control board 83. Sensor 7 is electrically and / or signal-connected to electronic control board 83. Electronic control board 83 is located within housing 82 and can be electrically and / or signal-connected to the vehicle bus.

[0054] As shown in Figures 10 and 11, after the valve device 100 is connected to the thermal management system, the fourth channel 17 is connected to the outlet of the heat exchanger 9, and the first channel 14 is connected to the inlet of the heat exchanger 9. The heat exchanger 9 can be a plate heat exchanger or a microchannel heat exchanger.

[0055] The valve device 100 includes at least a first working state and a second working state. The black one-way arrows in Figures 5, 10 and 11 show the approximate flow path of the fluid in the valve device 100.

[0056] In the first operating condition, the second opening 232 of the valve core assembly 2 communicates with the second communication port 151, and the valve core assembly 2 blocks the passage between the accommodating chamber 10 and the first communication port 141. The communication channel 23 is disconnected from the first communication port 141. At this time, the third channel 16 communicates with the second channel 15 via the communication channel 23, and the refrigerant does not flow through the heat exchanger 9.

[0057] In the second operating state, the second opening 232 of the valve core assembly 2 communicates with the first communication port 141, the valve core assembly 2 blocks the passage between the accommodating chamber 10 and the second communication port 151, and the communication channel 23 is disconnected from the second communication port 151. At this point, the valve core assembly 2 can regulate the refrigerant flow rate entering the heat exchanger 9, and the sensor 7 can measure the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant flowing out of the heat exchanger 9. After measuring the temperature and pressure, the sensor 7 can transmit this information to an onboard processor or directly to the processor included in the electronic control board 83. The processor can then adjust the rotation angle of the valve core assembly 2 based on the information from the sensor 7, thereby regulating the refrigerant flow rate entering the heat exchanger 9.

[0058] Therefore, at least two working conditions can be realized through the valve device 100, which has high integration, small size, and multiple functions. It can be used in refrigerant systems and coolant systems, and is particularly suitable for automotive fields with high volume requirements.

[0059] As shown in Figures 9 and 10, the main body 22 has an expansion groove 226, which is recessed in the outer periphery of the main body 22. The expansion groove 226 extends along the circumference of the main body 22. One end of the expansion groove 226 is connected to the connecting channel 23. When the refrigerant passes through the expansion groove 226, a throttling expansion effect can be produced. By controlling the valve core assembly 2, the valve device 100 can realize a flow regulation function, and can also realize a throttling expansion function.

[0060] As shown in Figures 3 and 5 , the third channel 16 has a third communication port 161. Along the axial direction of the valve device 100, the third communication port 161 is located farther from the main body 22 than the first opening 231. The third communication port 161 is disposed opposite the first opening 231 and communicates with the first opening 231. Compared to solutions in which the third communication port 161 is disposed radially to one side of the main body 22, the flow resistance between the third communication port 161 and the first opening 231 is reduced, thereby reducing the flow resistance of the valve device 100.

[0061] As shown in FIG12 , the assembly method of the valve device 100 at least includes:

[0062] The main body 22 is installed into the valve body assembly 1 along the radial direction of the valve device 100 so that the hole 221 is substantially coaxial with the third through hole 111;

[0063] Install the shaft portion 21 into the valve body assembly 1 along the axial direction of the valve device 100;

[0064] A portion of the shaft portion 21 is placed into the hole 221 of the main body 22. Specifically, in this step, the shaft portion 21 first passes through the third through-hole 111, then enters the hole 221. A portion of the shaft portion 21 is then inserted into the cushion component 4 until the first section 212 of the shaft portion 21 abuts the main body 22, completing the entire assembly process of the shaft portion 21. In other embodiments, the shaft portion 21 may be first installed into the valve body assembly 1, followed by the main body 22, and then a portion of the shaft portion 21 is placed into the hole 221 of the main body 22.

[0065] First, the main body 22 is installed into the accommodating cavity 10 along the radial direction of the valve device 100, and then the shaft portion 21 is inserted into the accommodating cavity 10 along the axial direction and passes through the hole 221. This can reduce the installation space required for the valve core assembly 2 and reduce the restrictions on the installation of the valve core assembly 2 caused by the structure of the valve body assembly 11. In other words, it can reduce the difficulty of installing the valve core assembly 2 and improve the versatility of the valve core assembly 2.

[0066] As shown in FIG14-FIG15, in another embodiment of the valve device, the valve device 200 includes a valve core assembly 2, an elastic component 3 and a drive assembly 6 that are the same as or similar to the embodiment shown in FIG1-FIG12, and the valve core assembly 2 can rotate under the drive of the drive assembly 6;

[0067] The valve device 200 is a three-way valve as a whole. The valve body assembly 1 has a first channel 14, a second channel 15, and a third channel 16. The first channel 14 and the second channel 15 both extend radially of the valve device 200, and the third channel 16 extends axially of the valve device 200.

[0068] It should be noted that the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention and are not intended to limit the technical solutions described in the present invention. Although this specification has described the present invention in detail with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the present invention can still be modified or replaced by equivalents, and all technical solutions and improvements thereof that do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention should be included in the scope of the claims of the present invention.
