Description

Liquid jet fabric treatment device and fabric

[0001] The present invention relates to a liquid jet fabric treating apparatus and a fabric.

[0002] Conventionally, a liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus has been known that treats fabrics, which is a broad concept including woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, etc., with a treating solution and then washes the treated fabrics. Such a liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus is disclosed, for example, in International Publication No. 2022 / 255197.

[0003] International Publication No. 2022 / 255197 discloses a liquid-flow fabric treatment device including a treatment tank, a pressurizing body that presses fabric circulating in the treatment tank, and an air cylinder that moves the pressurizing body. The air cylinder is configured to be able to move the position of the pressurizing body between two positions: a separation position where the pressurizing body is separated from the fabric, and a pressing position where the pressurizing body presses the fabric. That is, the position of the pressurizing body is configured to be changed in two stages by the air cylinder, and the position of the pressurizing body relative to the fabric when pressing the fabric is always the same. The pressurizing body is positioned in the pressing position to separate the treatment liquid from the fabric during a cleaning operation.

[0004] International Publication No. 2022 / 255197

[0005] However, in WO 2022 / 255197, the position of the pressing body relative to the fabric when pressing the fabric is always the same, and a constant pressing force is always applied from the pressing body to the fabric, so depending on the type of fabric, the load on the fabric may be too large, and improvement is desired. Note that in the case of delicate types of fabric, if the pressing force is too large, processing defects (scratches due to processing) may occur on the surface of the fabric, which is not preferable.

[0006] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and one object of the present invention is to provide a liquid flow type fabric treatment device and fabric that can change the load on the fabric when pressing the fabric with a pressing body depending on the type of fabric.

[0007] A liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus according to a first aspect of the present invention is a liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus for treating fabric with a treating solution and then cleaning the fabric with a cleaning solution, the apparatus comprising: a treating tank having a retention portion for retaining the treating solution; a transporting unit connected to the treating tank and forming a circulation path along which the fabric can circulate, together with the treating tank; a turning unit in the circulation path for changing the direction of movement of the fabric so that it faces the transferring unit; and a turning unit disposed on one side of the fabric moving along the circulation path, which is connected to the retention portion and the turning unit. a first pressing body that presses the fabric between the retention portion and the turning portion to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric from the fabric; a second pressing body that is disposed on the other side of the fabric moving through the circulation path and presses the fabric between the retention portion and the turning portion to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric from the fabric; and a switching mechanism that, during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with a cleaning liquid, moves at least one of the first pressing body and the second pressing body relative to the fabric and can switch the pressing position for pressing the fabric between a plurality of positions.

[0008] According to a first aspect of the present invention, the liquid jet fabric treatment device includes a first presser and a second presser that press the fabric between the retention section and the turning section to separate the treatment solution contained in the fabric from the fabric, and a switching mechanism that can move at least one of the first presser and the second presser relative to the fabric to switch the pressing position of the fabric between multiple positions during a cleaning operation using cleaning solution. Unlike conventional systems in which the pressing position of the presser is always the same relative to the fabric, the pressing position of at least one of the first presser and the second presser can be switched depending on the type of fabric, such as a delicate fabric that is easily damaged or a durable fabric that is not easily damaged. This prevents the pressing force from being too strong for delicate fabrics, thereby preventing processing defects (scratches) from occurring on the surface of the fabric. As a result, the load on the fabric when the pressing body presses the fabric can be changed depending on the type of fabric.

[0009] In the liquid jet fabric treatment apparatus according to the first aspect, preferably, when the first pressure body is moved, the pressure positions of the first pressure body include a first pressure position at which the fabric is separated from the second pressure body and a second pressure position at which the fabric pressed by the first pressure body is brought into contact with the second pressure body so that the fabric is also pressed by the second pressure body, and the switching mechanism is configured to be able to switch the pressure position between the first pressure position and the second pressure position during the washing operation. With this configuration, the switching mechanism can switch the pressure position of the first pressure body between the first pressure position and the second pressure position, thereby switching between a state in which a large load is applied to the fabric from two pressure bodies and a state in which a small load is applied to the fabric from only one pressure body. Therefore, in the case of delicate types of fabric, the pressing force is not too large, and the occurrence of processing defects (scratches due to processing) on the surface of the fabric can be more effectively suppressed. As a result, the load on the fabric when the fabric is pressed by the pressing body can be more effectively changed depending on the type of fabric.

[0010] In the liquid jet type fabric processing apparatus according to the first aspect, preferably, when the first pressing body is moved, the switching mechanism includes a support arm that supports the first pressing body and a switching drive unit that applies a rotational force to the support arm, and is configured to switch the pressing position among a plurality of positions by rotating the first pressing body via the support arm with the switching drive unit. With this configuration, the pressing position of the first pressing body can be easily switched by rotating the support arm that supports the first pressing body with the switching drive unit.

[0011] In this case, the switching drive unit preferably includes an electric cylinder that applies a rotational force to the support arm by extending and contracting, or an electric motor configured to have an adjustable output and that applies a rotational force to the support arm. With this configuration, the electric cylinder or the electric motor can easily adjust the pressing position of the first pressing body to switch between multiple positions.

[0012] In the above-described configuration in which the switching drive unit has an electric cylinder or an electric motor, preferably, the switching drive unit has an electric cylinder, and the switching mechanism includes an air cylinder connected to the first pressing body and switching the position of the first pressing body from a pressing position to a separated position where the first pressing body is separated from the fabric. With this configuration, vibrations applied to the first pressing body from the fabric due to uneven thickness of the fabric can be absorbed by making the air cylinder function as a pneumatic damper.

[0013] In the above-described configuration in which the switching mechanism switches the pressing position between the first pressing position and the second pressing position, preferably, the second pressing body is fixed so as not to move when the first pressing body is moved, and the first pressing body is configured to press the fabric toward the second pressing body when located at the first pressing position, and to sandwich the fabric between the first pressing body and the second pressing body when located at the second pressing position. With this configuration, the switching mechanism can switch between a state in which the fabric is sandwiched and pressed between the first pressing body and the second pressing body, and a state in which the fabric is pressed only by the first pressing body. This allows switching between a state in which a very large load is applied to the fabric and a state in which a small load is applied to the fabric. As a result, the load on the fabric when pressed by the pressing body can be more effectively changed depending on the type of fabric.

[0014] In a configuration in which the switching mechanism includes a support arm and a switching drive unit, preferably, the support arm is configured to support both the first pressing body and the second pressing body, the support arm is provided with a rotation central shaft between the first pressing body and the second pressing body, and the switching drive unit is configured to rotate the support arm to simultaneously rotate the first pressing body and the second pressing body about the rotation central shaft. With this configuration, both the first pressing body and the second pressing body can be rotated by a simple mechanism formed by the support arm and the rotation central shaft.

[0015] In the liquid jet type fabric processing apparatus according to the first aspect, preferably, at least one of the first pressing body and the second pressing body includes a roller member that contacts the moving fabric and rotates about a central axis extending in the width direction of the fabric. With this configuration, the fabric can be moved while rotating the roller member that contacts the fabric, thereby preventing the fabric from sliding against the roller member and preventing damage to the fabric due to sliding resistance.

[0016] A fabric according to a second aspect of the present invention comprises a treatment tank provided with a retention portion for retaining a treatment solution for the fabric, a transport portion connected to the treatment tank and forming a circulation path along which the fabric can circulate together with the treatment tank, a turning portion in the circulation path for changing the direction of movement of the fabric to face the transport portion, and a first pressing body disposed on one side of the fabric moving along the circulation path for pressing the fabric between the retention portion and the turning portion to separate the treatment solution contained in the fabric from the fabric. The fabric is treated and washed with the treatment liquid by a liquid flow type fabric treatment device that includes a second pressing body that is positioned on the other side of the fabric moving through the circulation path and presses the fabric between the retention section and the turning section to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric from the fabric, and a switching mechanism that, during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with cleaning liquid, moves at least one of the first pressing body and the second pressing body relative to the fabric and can switch the pressing position for pressing the fabric between multiple positions.

[0017] According to a second aspect of the present invention, the fabric includes a first pressing body and a second pressing body that press the fabric between the retention portion and the turning portion to separate the treatment solution contained in the fabric from the fabric, and a switching mechanism that can move at least one of the first pressing body and the second pressing body relative to the fabric to switch the pressing position of the fabric between multiple positions during a cleaning operation using cleaning solution. Unlike conventional methods in which the pressing position of the pressing body is always the same relative to the fabric, the pressing position of at least one of the first pressing body and the second pressing body can be switched depending on the type of fabric, such as a delicate fabric that is easily damaged or a durable fabric that is not easily damaged. This prevents the pressing force from being too strong for delicate types of fabric, thereby preventing processing defects (scratches due to processing) from occurring on the surface of the fabric. As a result, it is possible to provide a fabric in which the load on the fabric when pressed by the pressing body can be changed depending on the type of fabric.

[0018] According to the present invention, as described above, the load on the fabric when the fabric is pressed by the pressing body can be changed depending on the type of fabric.

[0020] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0021] First Embodiment The configuration of a liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus 100 according to a first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0022] The liquid jet type fabric treating device 100 shown in Figure 1 is a device that treats fabric C with a treatment liquid and then cleans it with a cleaning liquid. The liquid jet type fabric treating device 100 is a so-called dyeing machine, and is configured to dye the fabric C with a dyeing liquid as a treatment with a treatment liquid. In detail, the liquid jet type fabric treating device 100 dyes the fabric C with a dye by impregnating the fabric C with the treatment liquid and leaving it in a high-temperature state for a certain period of time. Note that the fabric C is a broad concept that includes woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, etc.

[0023] The liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100 is configured to wash the fabric C with fresh water, which is unused cleaning liquid. The cleaning liquid may be fresh water with a predetermined detergent dissolved therein. As a result of washing, the treatment liquid remaining on the fabric C without dyeing it is removed from the fabric C.

[0024] The liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100 has an annular circulation path R therein for circulating the fabric C. The liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100 is configured to sequentially dye and wash the fabric C while circulating the fabric C within the circulation path R. The circulation path R is formed by a treatment tank 1 and a transfer pipe 3, which will be described later.

[0025] Here, in each figure, the up-down direction is indicated as the Z direction. Within the Z direction, the upper side is indicated as the Z1 direction, and the lower side is indicated as the Z2 direction. Also, in each figure, the longitudinal direction of the liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100, which is perpendicular to the Z direction, is indicated as the X direction. Within the X direction, the movement direction of the fabric C within the treatment tank 1 is indicated as the X1 direction, and the opposite direction is indicated as the X2 direction. Therefore, the X1 direction side is the downstream side of the movement direction of the fabric C within the treatment tank 1, and the X2 direction side is the upstream side of the movement direction of the fabric C within the treatment tank 1. Also, in each figure, the depth direction of the liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100, which is perpendicular to the Z and X directions, is indicated as the Y direction. Also, in each figure, the direction along the inclined surface 122a (described later) within the treatment tank 1 is indicated as the A direction.

[0026] As shown in Figure 1, the liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100 includes a treatment tank 1, a turning unit 2, a transfer pipe 3, a cleaning liquid supply system 4, and a pressing mechanism 5 including a first pressing body 6, a second pressing body 7, and a switching mechanism 8. The transfer pipe 3 is an example of the "transfer unit" in the claims.

[0027] The switching mechanism 8 of the liquid jet type fabric treatment apparatus 100 of the first embodiment is configured to be able to move the first pressing body 6 relative to the fabric C during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with a cleaning liquid, thereby switching the pressing position P for pressing the fabric C to a plurality of positions. Details will be described later.

[0028] (Configuration of Treatment Tank) As shown in FIG. 1 , the treatment tank 1 includes a first end 10 , a second end 11 , and a main body 12 .

[0029] The first end 10 is the end on the downstream side (X1 direction) in the movement direction of the fabric C in the treatment tank 1. The second end 11 is the end on the upstream side (X2 direction) in the movement direction of the fabric C in the treatment tank 1. The main body 12 is the portion between the first end 10 and the second end 11.

[0030] The main body 12 has a cylindrical first inclined portion 121 that is slightly inclined downward from the second end 11 toward the first end 10, and a cylindrical second inclined portion 122 that is significantly inclined upward from the first inclined portion 121 toward the first end 10. That is, as shown in Fig. 1 , the main body 12 has a downwardly convex corner 1a between the first inclined portion 121 and the second inclined portion 122 in a side view (viewed from the Y direction). Therefore, an inclined surface 122a that is inclined upward from the corner 1a toward the first end 10 (X1 direction) is provided at the bottom of the second inclined portion 122 of the treatment tank 1.

[0031] The main body 12 is provided with a retention portion 13 for retaining the processing liquid in the processing tank 1. The retention portion 13 is generally the portion from the corner 1a to the second end 11 side (X2 direction side).

[0032] The treatment tank 1 is formed into a hollow structure by connecting multiple members arranged in the X direction. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1 , the treatment tank 1 includes a main body member 14, a header 15 detachably attached to the main body member 14 from the downstream side (X2 direction side) of the movement direction of the fabric C, and an additional attachment member 16 that can be attached between the main body member 14 and the header 15. The header 15 is provided with a turning section 2. The main body member 14, the header 15, and the additional attachment member 16 each have a flange portion F that protrudes outward, and are configured to be detachably attached to one another by the flange portion F. In short, the treatment tank 1 is formed by so-called flange connection of the main body member 14, the header 15, and the additional attachment member 16. The flange portions F are fixed to one another by fixing members (not shown) such as bolts.

[0033] The main body member 14 is a member located at the most upstream side (X2 direction side) in the treatment tank 1 in the movement direction of the fabric C, and has the retention portion 13 and the second end portion 11. The header 15 is a member located at the most downstream side (X1 direction side) in the treatment tank 1 in the movement direction of the fabric C, and has the first end portion 10. The additional attachment member 16 is a member located between the retention portion 13 and the header 15 in the movement direction of the fabric C.

[0034] The header 15 is detachably attached to the main body member 14 from the downstream side in the moving direction of the fabric C. The additional attachment member 16 is configured so that it can be attached between the main body member 14 and the header 15 after the connection between the header 15 and the main body member 14 at the flange portion F is released. A pressing mechanism 5 including a first pressing body 6 and a second pressing body 7 is installed on this additional attachment member 16. The attachment of the additional attachment member 16 will be described in detail below.

[0035] As shown in Fig. 1, a discharge section 17 is provided at the bottom of the treatment tank 1. The discharge section 17 is an outlet for discharging the liquid in the treatment tank 1 to the outside of the treatment tank 1. The discharge section 17 is disposed between the corner 1a (retention portion 13) and the first and second pressing bodies 6 and 7. Therefore, the discharge section 17 is disposed below the first and second pressing bodies 6 and 7 in the direction along the inclined surface 122a (direction A).

[0036] The discharge section 17 is configured to separately discharge the treatment liquid separated from the fabric C by pressing the fabric C with the first pressing body 6 and other liquids in the treatment tank 1 so that they do not mix. Specifically, the discharge section 17 is located closer to the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 than the retention section 13. Therefore, the discharge section 17 is configured to discharge the treatment liquid separated from the fabric C by the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 out of the treatment tank 1 before it reaches the retention section 13. In addition, a wall section 17a is provided on the inclined surface 122a between the discharge section 17 and the retention section 13. The wall section 17a partitions the retention section 13 from the area on the discharge section 17 side within the treatment tank 1, thereby preventing the treatment liquid separated from the fabric C from flowing into the retention section 13 and the liquid (mainly the cleaning liquid) in the retention section 13 from flowing into the discharge section 17.

[0037] An openable / closable door 18 is provided at the first end 10. The openable door 18 is used when introducing the fabric C into the treatment tank 1 and when removing the fabric C from the treatment tank 1. The openable door 18 is kept closed during the dyeing operation and washing operation of the fabric C by the liquid jet type fabric treatment device 100.

[0038] The first end 10 is provided with a cylindrical connecting portion 19 extending downward from the lower portion of the first end 10. One end of the transfer tube 3 (first upright portion 31, described later) is connected from below to the lower end of the connecting portion 19 provided at the first end 10. The other end of the transfer tube 3 (second upright portion 32, described later) is connected from below to the lower portion of the second end 11.

[0039] (Configuration of the turning section) The turning section 2 is configured to change the moving direction of the fabric C in the circulation path R to a direction facing the transfer pipe 3. In short, the turning section 2 is configured to guide the fabric C moving within the treatment tank 1 to the transfer pipe 3. The turning section 2 is disposed directly above the connection section 19. Furthermore, the turning section 2 is disposed within the treatment tank 1 between the opening / closing door 18 and the first and second pressing bodies 6 and 7.

[0040] The turning unit 2 includes an electric motor 20 and a reel 21 that is rotationally driven by the electric motor 20. The reel 21 is configured to rotate around a central axis 2a extending in the width direction of the fabric C while in contact with the fabric C, thereby drawing in the fabric C from the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 side and feeding the drawn-in fabric C toward the transfer pipe 3 directly below. The reel 21 is configured of a plurality of rod-shaped bodies arranged at equal angular intervals.

[0041] (Configuration of Transfer Pipe) The transfer pipe 3 is connected to the main body 12 of the treatment tank 1, and together with the main body 12 forms a circulation path R through which the fabric C can circulate. The transfer pipe 3 is a U-shaped pipe having a main pipe portion 30, a first upright portion 31, and a second upright portion 32.

[0042] The main pipe 30 extends horizontally (in the X direction) below the treatment tank 1 along the treatment tank 1. The first upright portion 31 extends upward from one end (the end in the X1 direction) of the main pipe 30 and is connected to the lower part of the connection portion 19 (the first end 10). The second upright portion 32 extends upward from the other end (the end in the X2 direction) of the main pipe 30 and is connected to the lower part of the second end 11.

[0043] (Configuration of the Cleaning Liquid Supply System) The cleaning liquid supply system 4 includes a pump 40 and a pipe 41 for supplying fresh water. The cleaning liquid supply system 4 also includes a new liquid supply nozzle 42. The new liquid supply nozzle 42 is provided inside the connection portion 19. The new liquid supply nozzle 42 is configured to supply fresh, unused cleaning liquid to a position in the circulation path R of the fabric C downstream of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 in the direction of movement of the fabric C. The new liquid supply nozzle 42 is configured to eject the unused cleaning liquid at high speed toward the first upright portion 31 diagonally below the center of the connection portion 19. The fabric C in the treatment tank 1 moves downward toward the transfer pipe 3 together with the unused cleaning liquid ejected at high speed. The new liquid supply nozzle 42 is configured to eject the unused cleaning liquid from approximately the entire circumference around the central axis extending in the vertical direction of the connection portion 19.

[0044] (Configuration of pressing mechanism) As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the pressing mechanism 5 includes a first pressing body 6, a second pressing body 7 provided separately from the first pressing body 6, and a switching mechanism 8 that switches the position of the first pressing body 6.

[0045] (Configuration of the first pressing body of the pressing mechanism) The first pressing body 6 is disposed below one side of the fabric C moving within the treatment tank 1. The first pressing body 6 is configured to be movable by rotating (revolving around a rotation center member 82, described later) within the treatment tank 1 using the switching mechanism 8. As shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 2 , the first pressing body 6 is moved by the switching mechanism 8 so as to come into contact with and move away from the fabric C. The first pressing body 6 is configured to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C by pressing the fabric C between the retention portion 13 and the turning portion 2. The treatment liquid separated from the fabric C during the cleaning operation flows along the inclined surface 122a toward the discharge portion 17 on the lower side and is discharged from the discharge portion 17 of the treatment tank 1 to the outside.

[0046] The first pressing body 6 includes a first rotational axis 61 and a first roller member 60. The first rotational axis 61 has a central axis 61a extending in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The first roller member 60 has a circular outer shape and is supported by the first rotational axis 61. The first roller member 60 is configured to rotate (spin on its own axis) about the central axis 61a by contacting the moving fabric C. In other words, the first pressing body 6 is configured to be passively rotated by the moving fabric C. Note that the first pressing body may be actively rotated by a drive source such as a motor to impart a propulsive force to the fabric to move along the circulation path. The first roller member 60 is an example of a "roller member" in the claims.

[0047] The first roller member 60 has a constant outer diameter at any position in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The first roller member may have a shape other than a constant outer diameter, such as having enlarged diameter portions at both ends in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric. The first roller member 60 is made of stainless steel (SUS). The first roller member may also be made of a metal material other than stainless steel, a resin material, an elastomer material, or the like.

[0048] The first roller member 60 is configured to allow the treatment liquid to pass through. As one example, the first roller member 60 is formed to be porous, having a plurality of pores that allow the treatment liquid separated from the fabric C by pressing to pass through. As another example, the first roller member may be formed to have an uneven shape that allows the treatment liquid to pass through. Furthermore, the first roller member may have a hollow portion that allows the treatment liquid to pass through. Note that the first roller member does not have to be configured to allow the treatment liquid to pass through.

[0049] (Configuration of second pressing body of pressing mechanism) The second pressing body 7 is disposed above the other side of the fabric C moving within the treatment tank 1. The second pressing body 7 does not rotate (revolve) like the first pressing body 6, and is fixed in position so as not to move within the treatment tank 1. The second pressing body 7 is configured to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C by pressing the fabric C between the retention portion 13 and the turning portion 2.

[0050] The second pressing body 7 includes a second rotational center shaft 71 and a second roller member 70. The second rotational center shaft 71 has a central axis 71a extending in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The second roller member 70 has a circular outer shape and is supported by the second rotational center shaft 71. The second roller member 70 is configured to rotate (spin on its own axis) about the central axis 71a by contacting the moving fabric C. In other words, the second pressing body 7 is configured to be passively rotated by the moving fabric C. Note that the second pressing body may be configured to be actively rotated by a drive source such as a motor to impart a propulsive force to the fabric to move along the circulation path. The second roller member 70 is an example of a "roller member" in the claims.

[0051] The second roller member 70 of the second pressing body 7 is formed in the same shape and from the same material as the second roller member 70 of the first pressing body 6 described above, and therefore further explanation of the second pressing body 7 will be omitted.

[0052] Here, flanges 62 (see FIG. 9 ) that protrude radially outward from the first roller member 60 are provided at both ends in the direction in which the central axis 61 a of the first roller member 60 extends (Y direction). The flanges 62 (first pressing body 6) are configured to abut against an internal stopper 72 (see FIG. 9 ) arranged in the treatment tank 1 to restrict movement. As a result, direct contact between the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 is prevented. The internal stopper 72 is provided on the second rotation central shaft 71. Details will be described later.

[0053] (Configuration of Switching Mechanism of Pressing Mechanism) The configuration of the switching mechanism 8 will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 8 . As described above, the switching mechanism 8 is configured to move the first pressing body 6 relative to the fabric C and switch the pressing position P at which the fabric C is pressed between multiple positions. The pressing positions P of the first pressing body 6 include a first pressing position P1 (see FIGS. 5 and 6 ) and a second pressing position P2 (see FIGS. 7 and 8 ). The first pressing position P1 is a position of the first pressing body 6 at which the fabric C is separated from the second pressing body 7. The second pressing position P2 is a position of the first pressing body 6 at which the fabric C pressed by the first pressing body 6 is brought into contact with the second pressing body 7 as well so that the fabric C is also pressed by the second pressing body 7.

[0054] The switching mechanism 8 is configured to be able to switch the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 between a first pressing position P1 and a second pressing position P2 during the cleaning operation. Note that "during the cleaning operation" is a broad concept that includes timing before (just before) the start of the cleaning operation and after (just after) the end of the cleaning operation. The switching mechanism 8 is also configured to be able to switch the position of the first pressing body 6 from the pressing position P to a separated position S (see FIGS. 3 and 4 ) where the first pressing body 6 is separated from the fabric C.

[0055] At the first pressing position P1, only the first pressing body 6 presses the fabric C. At the second pressing position P2, both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 press the fabric C. At the separated position S, both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are separated from the fabric C.

[0056] The switching mechanism 8 switches the position of the first pressing body 6 from the separated position S to the pressing position P (first pressing position P1 or second pressing position P2) before (immediately before) the start of the cleaning operation. The position of the first pressing body 6 is maintained at the pressing position P during the cleaning operation. In principle, the switching mechanism 8 does not switch the position of the first pressing body 6, which is in the pressing position P, to another pressing position P during the cleaning operation. In other words, the electric cylinder 84, which will be described later, does not extend or retract during the cleaning operation. The switching mechanism 8 switches the position of the first pressing body 6 from the pressing position P to the separated position S after (immediately after) the cleaning operation is completed. As described above, "before the start of the cleaning operation" and "after the end of the cleaning operation" are included in "during the cleaning operation." The specific configuration of the switching mechanism 8 will be described below. The electric cylinder 84 is an example of a "switching drive unit" in the claims.

[0057] As shown in FIG. 2 , the switching mechanism 8 includes an air cylinder 80 and an electric cylinder 84 that generate a driving force (rotational force) to move the first pressing body 6, a link member 81, a rotation center member 82, and a support arm 83 that supports the first pressing body 6.

[0058] The air cylinder 80 is connected to the first pressing body 6 via a link member 81, a pivot center member 82, and a support arm 83. The driving force of the air cylinder 80 is transmitted to the first pressing body 6 via the link member 81, the pivot center member 82, and the support arm 83 in that order. The air cylinder 80 is configured to switch the position of the first pressing body 6 from a pressing position P to a separated position S. The air cylinder 80 is also configured to switch the position of the first pressing body 6 from the separated position S to the pressing position P.

[0059] The pivoting center member 82 extends from the outside to the inside of the treatment tank 1 along the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. That is, the pivoting center member 82 penetrates the side wall of the treatment tank 1. The pivoting center member 82 is installed in a state where it can rotate about a central axis 82a extending in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C, but does not move relative to the treatment tank 1. In a side view (viewed from the Y direction), the pivoting center member 82 is located closer to the corner 1a (X2 direction side) (see FIG. 1 ) than the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7.

[0060] The air cylinder 80, the electric cylinder 84, and the link member 81 are disposed outside the treatment tank 1. The support arm 83 is disposed inside the treatment tank 1. One end of the link member 81 is rotatably connected to the tip (upper end) of the cylinder rod 80a of the air cylinder 80. The air cylinder 80 is disposed below the link member 81 so that extension of the cylinder rod 80a pushes the link member 81 upward from below. Conversely, the electric cylinder 84 is disposed above the link member 81 so that extension of the cylinder rod 84a pushes the link member 81 downward from above.

[0061] The air cylinder 80 is configured so that the cylinder rod 80a can be extended and retracted in a direction perpendicular to the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The air cylinder 80 is configured to be extended and retracted in two stages: an extended state and a retracted state. When the air cylinder 80 is in the extended state, the first pressing body 6 is located at the pressing position P (the first pressing position P1 or the second pressing position P2). When the air cylinder 80 is in the retracted state, the first pressing body 6 is located at the separated position S.

[0062] As shown in Fig. 4, the air cylinder 80 is installed in the treatment tank 1 via a bracket B. In detail, the main body of the air cylinder 80 is installed in a state in which it can rotate relative to the treatment tank 1 by the bracket B, and as the cylinder rod 80a expands and contracts (as the link member 81 rotates around the central axis 82a), the orientation of the air cylinder 80 relative to the treatment tank 1 changes in side view.

[0063] When the air cylinder 80 is in the extended state, the tip (lower end) of the cylinder rod 84a of the electric cylinder 84 is maintained in contact with the upper surface of the link member 81 (see FIGS. 5 to 8). That is, when the first pressing body 6 is in the pressing position P, the tip of the cylinder rod 84a is maintained in contact with the upper surface of the link member 81. Furthermore, when the air cylinder 80 is in the retracted state, the tip of the cylinder rod 84a is maintained in a state spaced apart from the upper surface of the link member 81 (see FIGS. 3 and 4). That is, when the first pressing body 6 is in the separated position S, the tip of the cylinder rod 84a is maintained in a state spaced apart from the upper surface of the link member 81.

[0064] 2, the electric cylinder 84 is configured to apply a rotational force (torque) to the support arm 83. The switching mechanism 8 is configured to switch the pressing position P between multiple positions by rotating the first pressing body 6 via the support arm 83 using the electric cylinder 84. The electric cylinder 84 is configured to limit the extension of the air cylinder 80 located below the link member 81 from above the link member 81. The electric cylinder 84 is configured to expand and contract and change the limit amount of the stroke length of the air cylinder 80 in the expanded state, thereby switching the pressing position P between multiple positions.

[0065] The phrase "switching the pressing position P to a plurality of positions" means not only switching between the first pressing position P1 and the second pressing position P2, but also switching so as to change the distance between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 at the first pressing position P1. As a specific configuration, the first pressing position P1 of the first pressing body 6 can be switched to a plurality of positions by changing the protruding length L1 of the cylinder rod 84a when the first pressing body 6 is located at the first pressing position P1 shown in Fig. 6 within a range greater than the protruding length L2 of the cylinder rod 84a when the first pressing body 6 is located at the second pressing position P2 shown in Fig. 8.

[0066] In this way, the electric cylinder 84 functions as a stopper that limits the stroke length of the air cylinder 80 in the extended state, thereby determining the maximum stroke length of the air cylinder 80. When the air cylinder 80 is in the extended state, as the electric cylinder 84 extends and the protruding length L1 (see FIG. 6) increases, the distance between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 gradually increases, but the position of the first pressing body 6 does not switch from the pressing position P to the separated position S.

[0067] The link member 81 extends linearly outside the treatment tank 1 in a direction perpendicular to the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The outer end of the link member 81 is fixed to the other end of the link member 81. The outer end of the pivot center member 82 is located outside the treatment tank 1.

[0068] One end of a support arm 83 is fixed to the inner end of the rotation center member 82 located inside the treatment tank 1. The support arm 83 extends linearly inside the treatment tank 1 in a direction perpendicular to the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. The other end of the support arm 83 supports the first pressing body 6. The first rotation center shaft 61 of the first pressing body 6 is fixed to the support arm 83. The support arm 83 is provided at least at one end of the first pressing body 6 in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C so as not to interfere with the fabric C. The link member 81, the rotation center member 82, the support arm 83, and the first rotation center shaft 61 of the first pressing body 6 are fixed to one another and configured to operate integrally.

[0069] 3 and 4 , when the first pressing body 6 is located at the separated position S, the switching mechanism 8 extends the air cylinder 80 upward to press one end of the link member 81 upward (changing from a contracted state to an extended state), thereby converting the pressing force of the air cylinder 80 into a rotational force (torque) that rotates the first pressing body 6 via the link member 81, the rotation center member 82, and the support arm 83. As a result, the first pressing body 6 rotates around the central axis 82a of the rotation center member 82 so as to approach the second pressing body 7 (rotates in the direction of the black arrow shown in FIG. 2 ), and the position of the first pressing body 6 switches from the separated position S to the pressing position P.

[0070] 5 to 8 , when the first pressing body 6 is located at the pressing position P (when the air cylinder 80 is extended), the stroke length of the air cylinder 80 is limited and determined by the electric cylinder 84 located above the air cylinder 80. In this state, the electric cylinder 84 is configured to extend and retract to change the amount by which the stroke length of the air cylinder 80 is limited, thereby switching the pressing position P, including the first pressing position P1 and the second pressing position P2, between a plurality of positions. When the first pressing body 6 is located at the first pressing position P1, the first pressing body 6 is configured to press the fabric C solely against the second pressing body 7, and when located at the second pressing position P2, the first pressing body 6 is configured to sandwich the fabric C between itself and the second pressing body 7.

[0071] 5 and 7 , when the first pressing body 6 is in the pressing position P, the switching mechanism 8 retracts the air cylinder 80 to pull one end of the link member 81 downward (changing from an extended state to a retracted state), thereby rotating the first pressing body 6 about the central axis 82a of the rotation center member 82 away from the second pressing body 7 (rotating in the direction of the white arrow shown in FIG. 2 ), thereby switching the position of the first pressing body 6 from the pressing position P to the separated position S. The air cylinder 80 is driven by operating a switch provided on a control panel (not shown) of the liquid jet type fabric processing device 100, or by automatic control.

[0072] (Configuration for preventing contact between first roller member and second roller member) Next, with reference to Fig. 9 , a configuration for preventing contact between the first roller member 60 of the first pressing body 6 and the second roller member 70 of the second pressing body 7 will be described. Contact between the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 is prevented by a flange 62 provided on the first roller member 60 and an internal stopper 72 provided on the second rotation center shaft 71.

[0073] In the liquid jet fabric processing device 100 of the first embodiment, the internal stopper 72 has a cylindrical shape and the second rotation center shaft 71 is inserted through it. The flange 62 is positioned in a position corresponding to the internal stopper 72 in the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. If a user accidentally extends the air cylinder 80 to switch the position of the first pressing body 6 from the separation position S to the pressing position P without the fabric C being installed in the liquid jet fabric processing device 100, the flange 62 and the internal stopper 72 will come into contact with each other while the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 are separated by the minimum gap D, thereby restricting the movement of the first roller member 60 (first pressing body 6). As a result, contact between the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 is avoided. This prevents damage to the surfaces of the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 that press the fabric.

[0074] The above-described liquid jet type fabric treatment apparatus 100 produces fabric C that has been treated with a treatment liquid (dyeing liquid) and washed. Specifically, the apparatus comprises a treatment tank 1 provided with a retention portion 13 (see FIG. 1 ) for retaining the treatment liquid for fabric C, a transfer pipe 3 connected to the treatment tank 1 and forming a circulation path R along which the fabric C can circulate together with the treatment tank 1, a turning portion 2 that changes the moving direction of the fabric C along the circulation path R to face the transfer pipe 3, and a first pressing portion that is disposed on one side of the fabric C moving along the circulation path R and presses the fabric C between the retention portion 13 and the turning portion 2 to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C. The liquid flow type fabric treatment device 100 includes a pressure body 6, a second pressure body 7 that is positioned on the other side of the fabric C moving through the circulation path R and presses the fabric C between the retention section 13 and the turning section 2 to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C, and a switching mechanism 8 that moves the first pressure body 6 relative to the fabric C during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with cleaning liquid, and can switch the pressing position P that presses the fabric C to multiple positions, thereby treating the fabric C with the treatment liquid and producing washed fabric C.

[0075] Attachment of the additional attachment member 16 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 10 . FIG. 10 illustrates an apparatus configuration without the additional attachment member 16, while FIG. 1 illustrates an apparatus configuration with the additional attachment member 16. In the apparatus configuration illustrated in FIG. 10 , the header 15 and the main body member 14 are directly connected via the flange portion F. The connection between the header 15 and the main body member 14 via the flange portion F is then released, and the additional attachment member 16 provided with the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 is inserted and attached between the header 15 and the main body member 14. As a result, the apparatus configuration illustrated in FIG. 10 can be modified to an apparatus configuration including the additional attachment member 16 provided with the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 as illustrated in FIG. 1 . Therefore, if a user is using a liquid jet type fabric processing apparatus that does not have a pressing mechanism 5, the user can provide the liquid jet type fabric processing apparatus 100 with the function of the pressing mechanism 5 by retrofitting the additional attachment member 16 between the main body member 14 and the header 15.

[0076] (Effects of First Embodiment) In the first embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.

[0077] As described above, the first embodiment includes the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 that press the fabric C between the retention portion 13 and the turning portion 2 to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C, and a switching mechanism 8 that can switch the pressing position P at which the fabric C is pressed to multiple positions by moving at least one of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 relative to the fabric C during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with a cleaning liquid. This makes it possible to switch the pressing position P at which at least one of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 presses the fabric C depending on the type of fabric C, such as a delicate fabric C that is easily damaged or a durable fabric C that is not easily damaged, rather than a conventional pressing force that is too large for delicate types of fabric C, thereby preventing processing defects (scratches due to processing) from occurring on the surface of the fabric C. As a result, the load on the fabric C when the fabric C is pressed by the pressing body can be changed depending on the type of fabric C.

[0078] In the first embodiment, as described above, when the first pressing body 6 is moved, the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 includes a first pressing position P1 at which the fabric C is separated from the second pressing body 7, and a second pressing position P2 at which the fabric C pressed by the first pressing body 6 is brought into contact with the second pressing body 7 so that the fabric C is also pressed by the second pressing body 7, and the switching mechanism 8 is configured to be able to switch the pressing position P between the first pressing position P1 and the second pressing position P2 during the cleaning operation. As a result, the switching mechanism 8 can switch the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 between the first pressing position P1 and the second pressing position P2, making it possible to switch between a state in which a large load is applied to the fabric C from two pressing bodies and a state in which a small load is applied to the fabric C from only one pressing body. Therefore, in the case of delicate types of fabric C, it is possible to prevent the pressing force from being too large, and to further prevent the occurrence of processing defects (scratches due to processing) on the surface of the fabric C. As a result, it is possible to more effectively change the load on the fabric C when the fabric C is pressed by the pressing body depending on the type of fabric C.

[0079] In the first embodiment, as described above, when moving the first pressing body 6, the switching mechanism 8 includes a support arm 83 that supports the first pressing body 6 and a switching drive unit (electric cylinder 84) that applies a rotational force to the support arm 83, and is configured to switch the pressing position P between a plurality of positions by rotating the first pressing body 6 via the support arm 83 using the switching drive unit. As a result, by rotating the support arm 83 that supports the first pressing body 6 using the switching drive unit, the first pressing body 6 is rotated, and the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 can be easily switched.

[0080] In the first embodiment, as described above, the switching drive unit has the electric cylinder 84 that extends and retracts to apply a rotational force to the support arm 83. This makes it easy to adjust the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 when switching it between multiple positions using the electric cylinder 84.

[0081] In the first embodiment, as described above, the switching mechanism 8 includes the air cylinder 80 that is connected to the first pressing body 6 and switches the position of the first pressing body 6 from the pressing position P to the separated position S where the first pressing body 6 is separated from the fabric C. This allows the air cylinder 80 to function as a pneumatic damper, thereby absorbing vibrations and the like that are applied to the first pressing body 6 from the fabric C due to uneven thickness of the fabric C.

[0082] In the first embodiment, as described above, when the first pressing body 6 is moved, the second pressing body 7 is fixed in position so as not to move. The first pressing body 6 is configured to press the fabric C toward the second pressing body 7 when located at the first pressing position P1, and to sandwich the fabric C between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 when located at the second pressing position P2. This allows the switching mechanism 8 to switch between a state in which the fabric C is sandwiched and pressed between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7, and a state in which the fabric C is pressed only by the first pressing body 6. This makes it possible to switch between a state in which a very large load is applied to the fabric C and a state in which a small load is applied to the fabric C. As a result, the load on the fabric C when pressed by the pressing body can be more effectively changed depending on the type of fabric C.

[0083] In the first embodiment, as described above, at least one of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 includes the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 that come into contact with the moving fabric C and rotate about a central axis extending in the width direction of the fabric C. This makes it possible to prevent the fabric C from sliding against the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70, thereby preventing damage to the fabric C due to sliding resistance.

[0084] Second Embodiment Next, a liquid jet type fabric treating apparatus 200 according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 11 to 15. Unlike the configuration of the first embodiment, in which the position of only the first pressing body 6 is switched by the switching mechanism 8, the second embodiment will describe an example in which the positions of both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are switched by the switching mechanism 208. Note that in the second embodiment, components similar to those in the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals and will not be described again.

[0085] The liquid jet type fabric treatment device 200 of the second embodiment includes a switching mechanism 208 that switches the positions of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7. The switching mechanism 208 is configured to be able to move (rotate) the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 relative to the fabric C during the cleaning operation, thereby switching the pressing position P at which the fabric C is pressed to a plurality of positions.

[0086] The switching mechanism 208 includes an electric motor 284 having an output gear 284a, and a support arm 283 that supports both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7. The electric motor 284 is an example of a "switching drive unit" in the claims.

[0087] The support arm 283 is a rod-shaped member extending in a vertical direction perpendicular to the direction along the inclined surface 122a (direction A). The first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are fixed to one end and the other end of the support arm 283, respectively. A rotation center shaft 282 is provided on the support arm 283 between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7. The rotation center shaft 282 has a driven gear 282a that meshes with the output gear 284a. When the output gear 284a rotates, the rotation center shaft 282 also rotates together with the driven gear 282a.

[0088] The electric motor 284 is disposed outside the treatment tank 1. The rotation center shaft 282 extends from the outside to the inside of the treatment tank 1 along the width direction (Y direction) of the fabric C. In other words, the rotation center shaft 282 penetrates the side wall of the treatment tank 1. A driven gear 282a is disposed at the outer end of the rotation center shaft 282 located outside the treatment tank 1. A support arm 283 is fixed to the inner end of the rotation center shaft 282 located inside the treatment tank 1.

[0089] The electric motor 284 is configured to have an adjustable output and is configured to apply a rotational force to the support arm 283. As an example, the electric motor 284 is configured as a stepping motor. The electric motor 284 is configured to rotate the support arm 283, thereby simultaneously rotating the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 around the rotation center axis 282.

[0090] 11 and 12, the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are spaced apart from the fabric C. The first pressing body 6 is disposed above the fabric C, and the second pressing body 7 is disposed below it. From this state, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the electric motor 284 can simultaneously rotate the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 to switch to a state in which only the first pressing body 6 is in contact with the fabric C. In this state, the pressing force with which the first pressing body 6 presses the fabric C is relatively small.

[0091] 14 , the electric motor 284 can further rotate the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 to switch to a state in which both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are in contact with the fabric C. In this state, the pressing force with which the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 press the fabric C is relatively large. In the first embodiment, the first pressing body 6 could not be moved by the electric cylinder 84 while maintaining a state in which both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 are in contact with the fabric C. However, in the second embodiment, the first pressing body 6 can be further moved by the electric motor 284.

[0092] In detail, the electric motor 284 can further rotate the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 to move the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 to a position where the fabric C is in a Z-shape. In this state, the pressing force with which the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 press the fabric C becomes even greater.

[0093] (Effects of Second Embodiment) In the second embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.

[0094] As described above, the second embodiment includes the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 that press the fabric C between the retention portion 13 and the turning portion 2 to separate the treatment liquid contained in the fabric C from the fabric C, and a switching mechanism 208 that can switch the pressing position P at which the fabric C is pressed between a plurality of positions by moving at least one of the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 relative to the fabric C during a cleaning operation in which cleaning is performed with a cleaning liquid. This makes it possible to change the load on the fabric C when the pressing body presses the fabric C depending on the type of fabric C, just like the first embodiment.

[0095] In the second embodiment, as described above, the switching drive unit has an electric motor 284 configured to be adjustable in output and applying a rotational force to the support arm 283. This makes it easy to adjust the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 when switching it between a plurality of positions by the electric motor 284.

[0096] In the second embodiment, as described above, the support arm 283 is configured to support both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7, the support arm 283 is provided with a rotation center shaft 282 between the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7, and the electric motor 284 is configured to rotate the support arm 283 to simultaneously rotate the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 around the rotation center shaft 282. In this way, both the first pressing body 6 and the second pressing body 7 can be rotated by a simple mechanism formed by the support arm 283 and the rotation center shaft 282.

[0097] [Modifications] The embodiments disclosed herein should be considered to be illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims, not by the description of the above-mentioned embodiments, and further includes all modifications (modifications) within the meaning and scope of the claims.

[0098] For example, in the first embodiment, the position of the first pressing body at the pressing position is moved by an electric cylinder. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, as in a first modified liquid jet fabric treatment apparatus 300 shown in FIG. 16 , the position of the first pressing body 6 (see FIG. 1 ) at the pressing position P may be moved by an adjustment bolt 384. The adjustment bolt 384 is installed in the treatment tank 1 above the link member 81. The treatment tank 1 is provided with a mounting portion 384a having a threaded hole for mounting the adjustment bolt 384. When the first pressing body 6 is at the pressing position P, the lower end of the adjustment bolt 384 abuts against the upper surface of the link member 81. The adjustment bolt 384 is configured to adjust the amount of threading of the mounting portion 384a to press and rotate the link member 81 from above, thereby switching the pressing position P of the first pressing body 6 to a plurality of positions.

[0099] Furthermore, while the first and second embodiments described above illustrate examples in which the treatment tank is configured with three components: a main body member, a header, and an additional attachment member, the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, the treatment tank 401 may be configured with two components: a main body member 14 and an exchangeable attachment member 415, as in the treatment tank 401 of a liquid jet fabric treatment device 400 of a second modified example shown in FIG. 17 . In this second modified example, as shown in FIG. 17 , the exchangeable attachment member 415 is provided with a turning unit 2 and a pressing mechanism 5 (a first pressing body 6 and a second pressing body 7). This exchangeable attachment member 415 corresponds to a configuration in which the header 15 and the additional attachment member 16 of the first embodiment are combined into a single component. The replacement mounting member 415 is configured to be attachable to the main body member 14 from the downstream side in the movement direction of the fabric C, instead of the header 15 (see FIG. 10 ) including the turning portion 2 that is detachably attached to the main body member 14 from the downstream side in the movement direction of the fabric C. This makes it possible for a user who is using a liquid jet type fabric processing device that does not have a pressing mechanism 5 to simply replace the header 15 with the replacement mounting member 415, thereby giving the liquid jet type fabric processing device 400 the function of the pressing mechanism 5.

[0100] Although the first embodiment described above illustrates an example in which a flange is provided on the first roller member of the first pressing body and an internal stopper is provided on the second rotational axis of the second pressing body, the present invention is not limited to this. The present invention may also be modified without the flange and internal stopper, as in the third modified liquid jet fabric treating apparatus 500 shown in FIG. 18 . In this case, the electric cylinder 84 typically limits the stroke length of the air cylinder 80 to prevent contact between the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70. However, if the electric cylinder 84 is not adjusted, the first roller member 60 and the second roller member 70 may come into contact. For this reason, the liquid jet fabric treating apparatus 100 of the first embodiment described above is preferable to the liquid jet fabric treating apparatus 500 of the third modified liquid jet fabric treating apparatus.

[0101] In the first embodiment, the first pressing body is moved below the fabric, but the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, the first pressing body may be moved above the fabric.

[0102] In the first embodiment, only the first pressing body is moved, but the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, only the second pressing body may be moved.

[0103] In the second embodiment, the first pressing body above the fabric is first brought into contact with the fabric when both the first pressing body and the second pressing body are spaced apart from the fabric. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, the second pressing body below the fabric may be brought into contact with the fabric when both the first pressing body and the second pressing body are spaced apart from the fabric. Furthermore, the first pressing body and the second pressing body may be brought into contact with the fabric simultaneously when both the first pressing body and the second pressing body are spaced apart from the fabric.

[0104] In the first embodiment, the first pressing body is moved by an electric cylinder and an air cylinder, but the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, the first pressing body may be moved by only an electric cylinder. Alternatively, the first pressing body may be moved by a stepping motor or the like.

[0105] In the first embodiment, the first and second pressing bodies are moved by an electric motor, but the present invention is not limited to this. In the present invention, the first and second pressing bodies may be moved by an electric cylinder or the like.
