Description

[0001] Description

[0002] Functional shoe with an outsole

[0003] Background of the invention

[0004] The invention relates to a functional shoe with an upper for receiving a human foot and an outsole extending underneath.

[0005] Functional shoes of the type according to the invention are functionally adapted to specific areas of application. Such areas of application can, for example, be a specific sport or a specific professional activity.

[0006] Underlying task

[0007] The invention is based on the object of improving a functional shoe in such a way that the overall benefit for the wearer or user of this functional shoe for the specific application is increased, such that in particular the risk of injury for the user is reduced.

[0008] Inventive solution

[0009] This object is achieved according to the invention with a functional shoe having an upper part for receiving a foot and an outsole extending thereunder, wherein a rotary plate is further provided which is rotatably held on the outsole, wherein the rotary plate is designed with an upper side facing the foot, which is supported in a sliding manner over its entire surface on an underside of an insole, and wherein the outsole is designed with an annular border which surrounds the rotary plate.

[0010] The functional shoe designed according to the invention creates a shoe shape that is particularly cost-effective to produce and offers its users the advantage that when the foot is rotated while placed on the ground, the outsole of the functional shoe can be rotated in a defined manner on the ground.

[0011] This defined rotation of the outsole is achieved particularly advantageously with the inventive solution in two respects. Firstly, the rotating plate is encompassed by the outsole on the outside by means of the annular border, in particular in a form-fitting manner, thus defining a geometric axis of rotation for the rotating plate, which creates a precisely defined rotational position for the outsole in the horizontal direction. Secondly, the rotating plate according to the invention is fully supported with its upper surface on the underside of an insole, sliding over its entire surface. The insole can in particular be the insole of the functional shoe.

[0012] With this full-surface sliding support or mounting of the turntable in the vertical direction, in particular exclusively full-surface sliding support or mounting, a specific frictional resistance can be adjusted between the top of the turntable and the bottom of the insole. This frictional resistance can then be selected so that the turntable has a predefined strength or stiffness relative to the outsole and can only be moved to rotate relative to the outsole when the frictional resistance is overcome by force applied via the user's foot.

[0013] The turntable according to the invention in particular does not have a central dome or shaft on which it is mounted relative to the outsole and can rotate. Rather, the turntable according to the invention is guided in particular solely by the annular border with regard to its rotational movement. This creates a clear functional separation of the two functions of guiding the rotational movement in a lateral or horizontal direction and supporting the rotational movement upwards or in a vertical direction. With this functional separation, each of the two functions can be optimally adjusted by selecting the materials and in particular also the dimensional tolerances. In particular, it is thus possible for a precisely predefined frictional resistance to exist between the turntable and the rest of the functional shoe for the rotational movement over the service life of the functional shoe according to the invention.

[0014] Furthermore, the rotating plate of the functional shoe according to the invention is advantageously completely enclosed by the edging. This complete encirclement largely prevents dirt or contaminants from penetrating between the rotating plate and the outsole.

[0015] The turntable according to the invention is further advantageously provided with at least one substantially circular turntable profile web on its underside facing away from the base. The at least one substantially circular turntable profile web provides transverse support to the walking or running direction during a walking or running movement of the user and, at the same time, provides additional focus on the associated, inventively predefined axis of rotation of the turntable during a rotating movement of the user's foot. For this purpose, the at least one substantially circular turntable profile web is particularly preferably arranged substantially concentrically to the annular frame.

[0016] According to the invention, a plurality of concentrically aligned, substantially circular turntable profile webs are preferably provided. These turntable profile webs together form a particularly advantageously profiled underside of the turntable, as explained. The at least one substantially circular turntable profile web is further preferably interrupted by at least one recess, according to the invention. The at least one recess creates a gap in the profile web, by means of which snagging or tilting with unevenness of the floor beneath the functional shoe according to the invention is possible. This design thus improves the supporting effect and stability of the turntable according to the invention on the floor, both during a walking or running movement in all transverse directions and during a rotational movement in the resulting rotational direction.

[0017] Particularly preferably, several recesses aligned radially relative to one another are provided. The recesses aligned or arranged in this way form a radial or star shape, which further improves the aforementioned support effect.

[0018] In the functional shoe according to the invention, the outsole is preferably further provided with at least one substantially circular-arc-shaped outsole profile bar. The at least one substantially circular-arc-shaped outsole profile bar improves the forward and backward support effect during a walking or running movement and also the focus on the aforementioned rotational axis during a rotational movement. To support this focus, the at least one substantially circular-arc-shaped outsole profile bar is particularly preferably arranged substantially concentrically with the annular border.

[0019] Finally, the functional shoe according to the invention particularly preferably features a heel provided with at least one substantially circular-arc heel profile bar, wherein the heel profile bar is also arranged substantially concentrically with the annular border. With such a heel profile bar, the advantages already mentioned above for the at least one turntable profile bar and the at least one outsole profile bar are further improved.

[0020] An exemplary embodiment of the inventive solution is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached schematic drawings. It shows:

[0021] Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a functional shoe according to the invention with an outsole,

[0022] Fig. 2 the view II according to Fig. 1 of the outsole and

[0023] Fig. 3 shows section III according to Fig. 2.

[0024] Detailed of the

[0025] The figures show a functional shoe 10 intended for wear on a user's foot 12. The functional shoe 10 is formed from an upper part 14, generally made of leather-like material, and an outsole 16 located underneath, generally made of a plastic-like material. The outsole 16 comprises a front part 18, by means of which the front part of the foot 12 is to be supported on a floor (not shown in detail). A heel 20 is located on the rear part of the functional shoe 10 or the outsole 16, relative to a walking or running direction.

[0026] The outsole 16 comprises, on its inner side relative to the foot 12, an insole 22, beneath which a rotating plate 24 is arranged. The rotating plate 24 is thus located beneath the so-called forefoot of the user, with a bottom side 26 of the insole 22 directly and fully supporting an upper side 28 of the rotating plate 24. A specifically defined frictional resistance is formed between the bottom side 26 and the upper side 28. For this purpose, in particular, the rotating plate 24 and the outsole 16 are each made from a customized plastic material, and the aforementioned surfaces of the bottom side 26 and the upper side 28 are specifically selected with regard to their roughness. The rotating plate 24 is circular on the outside and is completely encompassed by the outsole 16 there, with this encompassment being designed to be form-fitting by means of a step 32.The step 32 is designed in such a way that the rotary plate 24 does not emerge downwards from the outsole 16, but at the same time can rotate, rotating about a (purely geometric) axis of rotation 34.

[0027] The turntable 24 is further provided on its surface facing the floor with a plurality of turntable profile webs 36, which extend essentially circularly and concentrically to the annular frame 30. The turntable profile webs 36 are interrupted by recesses 38 aligned radially relative to one another.

[0028] On the remaining outsole 16 located next to the rotary plate 24, there are several circular arc-shaped outsole profile webs 40, which are also arranged essentially concentrically with the annular border 30. There are four outsole profile webs 40 on each side of the rotary plate 24, i.e., at the front and rear.

[0029] Furthermore, on the side of the shoulder 20 facing the ground, four circular arc-shaped shoulder profile webs 42 are provided, which are also arranged essentially concentrically to the annular border 30.

[0030] Finally, it should be noted that all features mentioned in the application documents, and in particular in the dependent claims, despite the formal reference to one or more specific claims, are intended to be granted independent protection, even individually or in any combination.
