Description

[0001] Carl Walther GmbH Im Lehrer Feld 1 D-89081 Ulm ___________________________________________________________ _______ COCKING DEVICE FOR A FIREARM ___________________________________________________________ The invention relates to a cocking device for manually cocking a firing pin of a firearm with a trigger that interacts with a trigger bar. Cocking devices of the type mentioned at the beginning are known in the prior art in a variety of different designs. The known cocking devices, however, have the disadvantage that manual operation is necessary for cocking and uncocking, during which a shooter handling the firearm has to move their hand far away from the trigger. The object of the invention is therefore to create a cocking device for a firearm that can be operated without the shooter having to move their hand away from the trigger. For a cocking device of the type mentioned above, this object is achieved according to the invention in that a manually operated cocking element is provided for cocking the firing pin, and the trigger bar interacts with a blocking element that blocks the firing pin when the trigger is in a rest position and releases the firing pin for firing when the trigger is pulled. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims, the elements of which act to further improve the approach to solving the problem underlying the invention. In the cocking device according to the invention, the operation of a cocking device of a firearm is made possible by means of the combination of features that a manually operated cocking element is provided for cocking the firing pin, and the trigger rod interacts with a blocking element that blocks the firing pin in a rest position of the trigger and releases the firing pin for firing when the trigger is pulled, without a shooter having to remove his hand from the vicinity of the trigger.According to a first preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, the cocking element is designed as a cocking rod which can be moved by means of a cocking slide arranged in a pistol grip of the firearm from a first position, in which a contact surface of a cocking piece of the cocking rod borders the firing pin in the uncocked position, into a second position. During this movement, the contact surface of the cocking piece bordering the firing pin presses the firing pin into a second, cocked position. According to another preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, the cocking slide is held in a first, relaxed position by means of a preload spring, in which the cocking rod is in the first position, and can be transferred against the force of the preload spring into a second, cocked position, in which the cocking rod is in the second position. In the first position, the cocking slide preferably protrudes from the pistol grip and in the second position is preferably pushed into the pistol grip. The cocking slide can preferably be moved from the first to the second position by means of a movement in the direction of fire and can be locked in the second position by means of a locking device by means of a movement perpendicular to the direction of fire, wherein the locking can be released by means of a backward movement of the cocking slide perpendicular to the direction of fire. By releasing the cocking slide from the second position, preferably by corresponding pressure on the cocking slide, the firing pin can be released by manually operating the pistol grip without taking the hand off the pistol grip, thus ensuring robust safety for the firearm.A locking device can, for example, be formed by a locking piece and a cocking slide detent that interacts with the locking piece. According to an important preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, the cocking rod can be displaced from a first to a second position in addition to the cocking slide by means of a follower of a straight-pull repeating device, so that the firing pin can be transferred into a second, cocked position solely by means of a repeating process. A firing pin transferred into a second, cocked position by means of a repeating process can preferably be transferred from the cocked second position to a de-cocked first position by means of a movement of the cocking slide perpendicular to the direction of fire.According to a further preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, the trigger is pivotable about a pivot axis S, wherein opposite the trigger, beyond the pivot axis S, a trigger center piece pretensioned by a pretensioning spring is provided, in the extension of which a trigger upper part is provided, to which a interrupter rotatably mounted about a rotation axis R is attached, which interrupter cooperates with a sear mounted rotatably about a rotation axis ST and a center piece rotatably mounted about the pivot axis S to fire a shot. Furthermore, a center piece rotatably mounted about the pivot axis S is preferably provided adjacent to the trigger center piece, which center piece is intended to cooperate with the blocking element.According to a very important preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, during a tilting movement of the sear, an end of the trigger bar remote from the trigger cooperates with a detent which is mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation RA and is pressed into a predetermined first rotational position by means of a pretensioning spring, on which detent a pivoting lug is formed which locks the firing pin in the cocked state in the predetermined first rotational position, wherein the trigger bar, when the trigger is pulled, causes the detent to rotate into a second rotational position, by means of which the pivoting lug releases the firing pin via the cocking piece for firing a shot. The detent of the rotation axis RA, which is rotatably mounted about the rotation axis RA, preferably contains a detent body and a pivoting lug opposite one another at a predetermined angle. The detent body, through the action of the trigger bar moving in the firing direction on the detent body, causes the pivoting lug to move away from the firing pin in order to release the pre-tensioned firing pin via the cocking piece for movement towards a cartridge for the purpose of firing a shot. Furthermore, to ensure safety against unintentional firing, the detent for firing a shot can only be pivoted if both an end face of the interrupter and an end face of the center piece release the sear for a tilting movement.Furthermore, the blocking element is preferably coupled to the sear and the trigger bar in order to convert the rotational movement of the trigger into a linear movement of the trigger bar for interaction with the firing pin. The interrupter is preferably designed to ensure that when the trigger is pulled, the interrupter pulls the center piece out from under the sear containing the blocking element, so that the sear, which can be pivoted about the rotation axis ST, executes a pivoting movement in the direction away from the firing pin and the blocking element also executes a pivoting movement and thereby releases the trigger bar for movement in the firing direction, which movement is linked to a rotation of the detent flag about the detent rotation axis RA, which indirectly releases the pre-tensioned firing pin for the purpose of firing a shot. When the trigger is pulled, the pivoting vane preferably rotates about the detent rotation axis RA, causing the pivoting vane to move away from the firing pin, which in turn causes the cocking rod to move away from the firing pin, releasing the firing pin for firing a shot. Furthermore, by actuating the cocking slide, a cocking arm projection can be rotated about a rotation axis DR, whereby a cocking arm can be moved, which arm is preferably designed to move the cocking rod against the firing direction and to cock the firing pin. According to a further preferred embodiment of the cocking device according to the invention, the cocking piece is connected to the cocking rod and contains a contact surface which is designed to either release the firing pin for firing a shot or to lock it.In connection with a repeating process using a straight-pull repeating device, the pivoting vane can be moved into a locking position adjacent to the firing pin, in which locking position the firing pin is immobilized. The cocking device according to the invention is explained below with reference to a preferred embodiment, which is shown in the figure of the drawing. A manually operated cocking element 140 is provided for cocking the firing pin 110, wherein the trigger bar 120 interacts with a blocking element 150 that blocks the firing pin 110 when the trigger 130 is in its rest position and releases the firing pin 110 for firing a shot when the trigger 130 is pulled. The cocking element 140 is designed as a cocking rod that can be moved by means of a cocking slide 160 arranged in a pistol grip 210 of the firearm 200 from a first position, in which a contact surface 142 of a cocking piece 141 of the cocking rod 140 borders the firing pin 110 in the uncocked position, into a second position. During this movement, the contact surface 142 of the cocking piece 141 bordering the firing pin 110 presses the firing pin 110 into a second, cocked position. The cocking slide 160 is held in a first, relaxed position by means of a preload spring 161, in which the cocking rod 140 is in the first position, and can be moved against the force of the preload spring 161 into a second, cocked position, in which the cocking rod 140 is in the second position. The cocking slide 160 protrudes from the pistol grip in the first position and is pushed into the pistol grip in the second position. The cocking slide 160 can be moved from the first to the second position by means of a movement in the direction of fire and can be locked in the second position by means of a locking device 170 by means of a movement perpendicular to the direction of fire, wherein the locking can be released from the locking position by means of a return movement of the cocking slide 160 perpendicular to the direction of fire. By releasing the cocking slide 160 from the second position by exerting appropriate manual pressure on the cocking slide 160, the firing pin can be released by manually operating the pistol grip without removing the hand from the pistol grip, thus ensuring a robust safety feature for the firearm.A locking device 170 is formed by a locking piece 171 and a cocking slide detent 172 that interacts with the locking piece 171. In addition to the cocking slide 160, the cocking rod 140 can also be moved from a first to a second position by means of a follower 181 of a straight-pull repeating device 180, so that the firing pin 110 can be moved into a second, cocked position solely by means of a repeating process. A firing pin 110 moved into a second, cocked position by means of a repeating process can be moved from the cocked second position to a decocked first position by means of a movement of the cocking slide 160 perpendicular to the firing direction. The trigger 130 is pivotable about a pivot axis S, wherein opposite the trigger 130 and beyond the pivot axis S there is a trigger middle part 131 pretensioned by a pretensioning spring 135, in the extension of which there is provided a trigger upper part 1311, to which there is attached a breaker 132 mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis R, which, for firing a shot, cooperates with a sear 133 mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis ST and with a middle piece 134 mounted so as to be rotatable about the pivot axis S. Adjacent to the trigger middle piece 131 there is provided a middle piece 134 mounted so as to be rotatable about the pivot axis S, which is intended to cooperate with the blocking element 150.During a tilting movement of the sear 133, an end of the trigger rod 120 remote from the trigger 130 interacts with a detent 190 which is mounted so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis RA and is pressed into a predetermined first rotational position by means of a pretensioning spring 192, on which detent a pivoting lug 193 is formed which locks the firing pin 110 in the cocked state in the predetermined first rotational position, wherein the trigger rod 120, upon actuation of the trigger 130, causes a rotation of the detent 190 into a second rotational position, by means of which the pivoting lug 193 releases the firing pin 110 via the cocking piece 141 for firing a shot. The detent 190, which is rotatably mounted about the rotation axis RA, contains a detent body and a pivoting lug 193 opposite the rotation axis RA at a predetermined angle. The detent body, due to the action of the trigger bar 120 moving in the firing direction on the detent body, causes the pivoting lug 193 to move away from the firing pin 110 in order to release the pre-tensioned firing pin 110 for movement toward a cartridge via the cocking piece 141 for the purpose of firing a shot. The detent 190 can only be pivoted for firing a shot if both an end face 1321 of the interrupter 132 and an end face 1341 of the center piece 134 release the sear 133 for a tilting movement. The blocking element 150 is coupled to the sear 133 and the trigger bar 120 in order to convert the rotational movement of the trigger 130 into a linear movement of the trigger bar 120 for cooperation with the firing pin 110.When the trigger 130 is actuated, the interrupter 132 pulls the middle piece 134 out from under the sear 133 containing the blocking element 150, so that the sear 133, which can be pivoted about the rotation axis ST, executes a pivoting movement in the direction away from the firing pin 110 and the blocking element 150 also executes a pivoting movement and thereby releases the trigger bar 120 for a movement in the firing direction, which movement is connected to a rotation of the detent flag about the detent rotation axis RA, which indirectly releases the pre-tensioned firing pin 110 for the purpose of firing a shot. When the trigger 130 is actuated, the pivoting flag 193 rotates about the detent rotation axis RA, causing the pivoting flag 193 to move in the direction away from the firing pin 110, which causes the cocking rod 140 to move in the direction away from the firing pin 110, which releases the firing pin 110 for firing a shot.By actuating the cocking slide 160, a cocking arm projection 145 is rotatable about a rotation axis DR, whereby a cocking arm 143 is movable to move the cocking rod 140 against the firing direction and cock the firing pin 110. The cocking piece 141 is connected to the cocking rod 140 and has a contact surface 142 designed to either release the firing pin 110 for firing a shot or to lock it, depending on its orientation. In connection with a repeating process using a straight-pull repeating device 180, the pivoting vane 193 can be moved into a locking position adjacent to the firing pin 110, in which the firing pin 110 is immobilized. The exemplary embodiment of the invention explained above serves solely to provide a better understanding of the inventive teaching defined by the claims, which as such is not limited by the exemplary embodiment. * *** * .
