[0004] International Publication No. 2018 / 154704

[0005] The cover material fastener described in Patent Document 1 can be easily and firmly attached to a plate and can also firmly hold a locking end member provided on the edge of the cover material. However, once the cover material fastener is inserted into the plate, it is difficult to remove it from the plate, which can make cleaning and maintenance difficult. Therefore, there is a need for a cover material fastener that can be easily and firmly attached to a plate and can also be easily removed from the plate.

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a cover material fastener that can be easily and securely attached to a plate on which a cushion material is laminated, and can also be smoothly and easily removed from the plate.

[0007] The above object of the present invention is achieved by the following configuration: [1] A skin fastener (40) for connecting a skin (30) to a plate (10), the fastener (40) having a chuck (50) for fastening the skin (30) and a fastening part (60) for fastening to a fastening hole (11) formed in a plate (10), the fastening part (60) having an insertion part (61) inserted into the fastening hole (11) from the back surface (10b) of the plate (10), a step part (62) for fastening the insertion part (61) to the fastening hole (11), and an operating part (63) for operating the elastic deformation of the insertion part (61); when the insertion portion (61) is inserted into the locking hole (11), the chuck portion (50) provided on one end side of the insertion portion (61) and the operating portion (63) provided on the other end side of the insertion portion (61) are positioned on the back surface (10b) of the plate (10).

[0008] The cover material fastener of the present invention can be easily and securely attached to a plate on which a cushion material is laminated, and can also be smoothly and easily removed from the plate.

[0009] Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram showing a vehicle seat cushion using a cover material fastener. Fig. 2 is a diagram showing a modified form of the insertion portion of the cover material fastener. Fig. 3 is a rear perspective view of the cover material fastener. Fig. 4 is a front perspective view of the cover material fastener. Fig. 5 is a front view of the cover material fastener. Fig. 6 is a side view of the cover material fastener. Fig. 7 is a plan view of the cover material fastener. Fig. 8 is a bottom view of the cover material fastener.

[0010] A vehicle seat cushion according to an embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. In this specification, the "front-rear direction" refers to the direction in which the edge 30a of the upholstery material 30 (described later) extends, and is referred to as the X-axis direction. The "up-down direction" refers to the insertion / removal direction of the upholstery material fastener 40 into / from the locking hole 11 of the plate 10 (described later). The up-down direction refers specifically to the direction in which the upholstery material fastener 40 is inserted into / removed from the locking hole 11, and the direction in which the upholstery material fastener 40 is removed from the locking hole 11, and is referred to as the removal direction. The up-down direction corresponds to the Z-axis direction, which is perpendicular to the X-axis direction, and corresponds to the thickness direction of the cushion material 20 (described later). The "left-right direction" refers to the direction intersecting the X-axis direction, which is the front-rear direction, and the Z-axis direction, which is the up-down direction, and is referred to as the Y-axis direction. A direction parallel to the left-right direction is also referred to as a lateral direction.

[0011] 1 is a schematic diagram showing a vehicle seat using a cover material fastener. The vehicle seat 1 includes a plate 10, a cushion material 20 laminated on the plate 10, a cover material 30 covering the surface of the cushion material 20, and a cover material fastener 40 that fastens the cover material 30 covering the cushion material 20 to the plate 10.

[0012] The front surface 10a of the plate 10 is laminated with cushioning material 20 of a predetermined thickness that is cut into a shape slightly larger than the plate 10, thereby forming the upper surface of the seat surface 1. The back surface 10b of the plate 10 forms the underside of the seat surface 1, and is provided with a plurality of locking holes 11 to which the upholstery material fasteners 40 are attached. The locking holes 11 are through-holes that pass through the thickness of the plate 10 and are formed in a cylindrical shape. Note that the locking holes 11 need not be cylindrical in shape as long as they have a shape that allows the upholstery material fasteners 40 to be inserted and fixed.

[0013] The cover material 30 is laid over the surface of the cushion material 20 provided on the surface 10a of the plate so as to cover the surface. An end edge 30a of the cover material 30 is integrally provided with a locking end member 31 that is attached to the cover material fastener 40. The end edge 30a of the cover material 30 is detachably held by the cover material fastener 40 via the locking end member 31.

[0014] The locking end member 31 is molded, for example, from synthetic resin, and has a substantially V-shaped cross section that is formed along the longitudinal direction of the edge 30a. The locking end member 31 is insert-molded into the edge 30a of the skin 30, thereby being provided along the edge 30a of the skin 30. The cross section of the locking end member 31 in a plane (YZ plane) perpendicular to the edge 30a of the skin 30 is formed substantially like an arrow, with a base end 31a formed on the edge 30a side of the skin 30, a pair of inclined portions 31b, 31b inclined from the base end 31a toward the tip, and a tip end 31c that is substantially parallel to the base end 31a.

[0015] (Coverage Material Fastener) Next, the specific configuration of the cover material fastener 40 will be described with reference to Figs. 2 to 8.

[0016] The cover material fastener 40 has a chuck portion 50 and an engaging portion 60, and is integrally molded from an elastically deformable synthetic resin or the like. The chuck portion 50 holds (engages) an engaging end member 31, thereby detachably attaching the edge 30a of the cover material 30. The engaging portion 60 is inserted into the engaging hole 11, thereby detachably attaching the cover material 30 to the plate 10. The cover material fastener 40 can be used to attach the cover material 30, which covers the cushion material 20, to the plate 10.

[0017] The chuck portion 50 has a holding portion 51 in which the locking end member 31 is detachably held, an abutment surface 56 that abuts against the plate 10, and an insertion pressure surface 57 that is used when inserting the skin material fastener 40 into the locking hole 11, and is formed in a box shape overall.

[0018] The holding portion 51 has a pair of clamping portions 52, 52 that are arranged to sandwich the arrow-shaped locking end member 31 in the vertical direction, forming an accommodation portion 55 that accommodates the locking end member 31. Each clamping portion 52, 52 has a first locking piece 53 and a second locking piece 54.

[0019] The pair of clamping portions 52, 52 have opposing clamping surfaces 52a, 52a, and are formed to be elastically deformable in the direction away from each other. The pair of clamping surfaces 52a, 52a are inclined surfaces that slope away from each other from the base end toward the tip end, and the base ends are connected to each other while the tip ends are open. As described above, the storage portion 55 is formed in a wedge shape that is open in the front-to-rear direction along which the locking end member 31 extends and on one side (the tip end side) in the left-to-right direction along which the cover material 30 is connected to the locking end member 31. This configuration can be seen in Figures 1 and 2.

[0020] The first locking pieces 53 are provided at the tip ends of the pair of clamping surfaces 52a, respectively, and lock onto the base end portion 31a of the locking end member 31 housed in the housing portion 55. The pair of first locking pieces 53, 53 protrude toward each other (in the Z-axis direction) and extend in the front-rear direction (in the X-axis direction). A space is formed between the pair of first locking pieces 53, 53 for the edge 30a of the skin material 30 to pass through. This allows the locking end member 31 to be housed in the housing portion 55 from one left-right side of the chuck portion 50 (holding portion 51).

[0021] The second locking pieces 54 are provided at the center of the pair of clamping surfaces 52a in the front-rear and left-right directions, respectively. Similar to the first locking pieces 53, the pair of second locking pieces 54 extend in a direction approaching each other. The pair of second locking pieces 54 clamp the inclined portion 31b of the locking end member 31 housed in the housing portion 55. Note that the inclined portion 31b of the locking end member 31 may be formed with a groove (not shown) into which the second locking pieces 54 are engaged.

[0022] In the above example, the zipper 50 is of a so-called suspender type, in which the fastening end member 31 provided at the end of the skin 30 is fastened (gripped) in a detachable manner, but the configuration is not limited to the above, as long as the skin 30 can be connected to the zipper 50. Furthermore, the zipper 50 does not need to be detachable from the end of the skin 30, and the end of the skin 30 may be directly fixed by stitching, adhesive, or the like.

[0023] The abutment surface 56 is the surface of the clamping portion 52 from the plate 10 opposite to the surface on which the first locking piece 53 and the second locking piece 54 are formed, and abuts against the plate 10 when the cover material fastener 40 is inserted into the locking hole 11. In other words, the abutment surface 56 is a flat surface formed on the end of the box-shaped chuck portion 50 on the insertion side in the insertion / removal direction (Z-axis).

[0024] The insertion pressure surface 57 is a pressure surface formed on the end of the box-shaped chuck portion 50 on the removal side in the insertion / removal direction (Z-axis). The insertion pressure surface 57 is an XY plane substantially perpendicular to the insertion / removal direction, and has a curved portion 57a that curves toward the removal direction as the left / right (Y-axis) direction approaches the locking portion 60. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 , the curved portion 57a is formed to protrude toward the locking portion 60 beyond the back surface 58 of the holding portion 51. The back surface 58 of the holding portion 51 is continuous in a straight line with (the inner surface of) a first portion 61a of the insertion portion 61 described below.

[0025] The locking portion 60 has a V-shaped insertion portion 61 formed to be elastically deformable, a step portion 62 that locks the insertion portion 61 inserted into the locking hole 11, a removal operating portion 63 that controls the elastic deformation of the insertion portion 61, and a regulating piece 64 that regulates the elastic deformation of the insertion portion 61.

[0026] The insertion portion 61 has a first portion 61a extending from the chuck portion 50 in the insertion direction, a bent portion 61b formed by bending the insertion end of the first portion 61a into a V-shape, and a second portion 61c extending obliquely from the bent portion 61b in the removal direction. The chuck portion 50 is connected to the removal end of the first portion 61a, and the removal operation portion 63 is connected to the removal end of the second portion 61c.

[0027] The step portion 62 is formed at the end of the second part 61c that forms the other end side of the insertion portion 61, and is a step formed on the left-right outer side of the second part 61c so that the insertion portion 61 inserted into the locking hole 11 is locked into the locking hole 11.

[0028] The removal operation portion 63 is provided at the detachment side end of the second portion 61c that constitutes the insertion portion 61. The removal operation portion 63 has a removal operation surface 63a for pressing the second portion 61c toward the first portion 61a and a restriction surface 63b for preventing the insertion portion 61 from deforming beyond a predetermined extent. When the removal operation surface 63a is pressed, the second portion 61c elastically deforms smoothly with the bent portion 61b as a fulcrum so as to approach the first portion 61a. In other words, the V-shaped insertion portion 61 elastically deforms in a direction narrowing its width in the left-right (Y-axis) direction.

[0029] The restricting piece 64 is an arc-shaped protrusion provided on the upper part of the back surface 58 of the holding part 51. When the removal operation surface 63a is pressed, the restricting piece 64 abuts against the restricting surface 63b of the removal operation part 63, thereby restricting further deformation of the insertion part 61. The deformation limit position of the removal operation part 63 can be adjusted by changing the size of the restricting piece 64.

[0030] As described above, the upholstery material fastener 40 can be switched between an initial state (1 in FIG. 2) in which no elastic force is acting on the insertion portion 61, an engagement state (2 in FIG. 2) in which the V-shaped insertion portion 61 is elastically deformed in the narrowing direction and the step portion 62 is engaged with the engagement hole 11 as the upholstery material fastener 40 is inserted into the engagement hole 11, and a detachment state (3 in FIG. 2) in which the detachment operating portion 63 is pressed until it abuts against the restricting piece 64.

[0031] 1 and 2 , a method for forming the seat surface 1 by stretching the cushion material 20 and the cover material 30 onto the plate 10 using the cover material fasteners 40 will be described. First, the cover material fasteners 40 are attached to any position of the locking end member 31 attached to the cover material 30. Multiple cover material fasteners 40 are attached at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the locking end member 31, and each cover material fastener 40 is positioned to align with the position of the locking hole 11 in the plate 10.

[0032] At this time, the cover material fastener 40 is attached to the locking end member 31 by inserting the locking end member 31 into the accommodation portion 55 of the chuck portion 50. More specifically, the pair of clamping portions 52, 52 that make up the accommodation portion 55 can be elastically deformed in directions away from each other, so that the locking end member 31 can be pushed into the accommodation portion 55 through a gap formed between the pair of first locking pieces 53, 53. When the locking end member 31 is accommodated in the accommodation portion 55, the elastic deformation of the clamping portions 52, 52 is restored, so that the pair of first locking pieces 53, 53 and second locking pieces 54, 54 fit the locking end member 31 within the accommodation portion 55 and prevent it from coming out.

[0033] Next, the cover material 30 to which the cover material fastener 40 is attached is placed on the cushion material 20, and the edge 30a of the cover material 30 is wrapped around the edge of the plate 10 and placed on the back surface 10b of the plate 10. As a result, the cushion material 20 is pressed against the surface 10a of the plate and fixed.

[0034] Next, the cover material fastener 40 on the edge 30a of the cover material 30 superimposed on the back surface 10b of the plate is inserted into the locking hole 11 from the back surface 10b of the plate, thereby attaching and fixing it to the plate 10 (see FIG. 1 ). At this time, the insertion pressure surface 57 acts as a pressing (operating) surface for smoothly and efficiently pressing the cover material fastener 40 in the insertion direction to lock it into the locking hole 11, so that the cover material fastener 40 can be smoothly pressed into the locking hole 11. Furthermore, the curved portion 57a formed at the end of the insertion pressure surface 57 protrudes toward the locking portion 60 in the left-right (Y-axis) direction beyond the back surface 58 of the holding portion 51, and is therefore positioned on an extension line of the first portion 61a constituting the insertion portion 61 in the insertion / removal (Z-axis) direction. Therefore, the pressing force applied by the curved portion 57a can be more efficiently transmitted to the tip (bent portion 61b) of the insertion portion 61.

[0035] The operation of the locking portion 60 when the cover material fastener 40 is inserted into the locking hole 11 will now be described in detail. First, when the insertion portion 61 is inserted into the locking hole 11, the second portion 61c of the insertion portion 61 is pressed by the locking hole 11 and elastically deforms in a direction approaching the first portion 61a. At this time, the amount of deformation of the insertion portion 61 increases as the insertion width into the locking hole 11 increases. Next, when the step 62 formed on the second portion 61c overcomes the locking hole 11, the cover material fastener 40 enters the locked state (2 in FIG. 2), and the step 62 catches on the locking hole 11. This firmly fixes the cover material fastener 40 to the plate 10. This configuration can be seen in FIG. 1. At this time, when the step portion 62 passes over the locking hole 11, the elastic deformation of the insertion portion 61 is slightly restored, causing a clicking sensation, allowing the worker to sense that the upholstery material fastening device 40 has been fixed to the plate 10.

[0036] 1, the cover material fastener 40 fixed to the plate 10 via the locking hole 11 has the abutment surface 56 of the chuck portion 50 abutting against the back surface 10b of the plate, the first portion 61a of the insertion portion 61 abutting against one left or right side of the locking hole 11, and the step portion 62 abutting against the other left or right side of the locking hole 11. As a result, the cover material fastener 40 fixed to the locking hole 11 is firmly fixed to the plate 10 without any rattle. In other words, even if a shear force acts on the cover material fastener 40 fixed to the plate 10 in a direction parallel to the plate 10 due to the cover material 30 being pulled, the cover material fastener 40 will not tilt and will remain stable.

[0037] The cover material fastener 40 fixed to the plate 10 via the locking hole 11 can be easily removed from the plate 10 to easily replace the cover material 30, perform maintenance such as cleaning, or change the mounting position.

[0038] A method for removing the cover material fastener 40 from the plate 10 will be described with reference to Figure 2. When the cover material fastener 40 is attached to the plate 10, the removal operation surface 63a is pressed to elastically deform the insertion portion 61, so that the left-to-right width of the insertion portion 61 becomes smaller than the locking hole 11. Specifically, when the removal operation surface 63a is pressed, the insertion portion 61 elastically deforms so that the second portion 61c approaches the first portion 61a (2 in Figure 2 → 3 in Figure 2). This allows the insertion portion 61 to be smoothly pulled out (removed) from the locking hole 11 without resistance.

[0039] 2, the cover material fastener 40 can be gripped by pinching the insertion pressure surface 57 (curved portion 57a) of the chuck portion 50 and the removal operation surface 63a of the locking portion 60. This allows the worker to simultaneously grip the cover material fastener 40 and switch it to the removal state with one hand, allowing the cover material fastener 40 to be smoothly removed from the plate 10.

[0040] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and appropriate changes, modifications, etc. are possible within the scope of feasibility.

[0041] As described above, the present specification discloses the following: (1) A skin fastener (40) for connecting a skin (30) to a plate (10), the fastener (40) having a zipper (50) for fastening the skin (30) and a fastening portion (60) for fastening to a fastening hole (11) formed in the plate (10), the fastening portion (60) having an insertion portion (61) inserted into the fastening hole (11) from the back surface (10b) of the plate (10), a step portion (62) for fastening the insertion portion (61) to the fastening hole (11), and an operating portion (63) for operating the elastic deformation of the insertion portion (61), When the insertion portion (61) is inserted into the locking hole (11), the chuck portion (50) provided on one end of the insertion portion (61) and the operating portion (63) provided on the other end of the insertion portion (61) are positioned on the back surface (10b) of the plate (10). With this configuration, the insertion portion 61 that locks into the locking hole 11 and the operating portion 63 that controls the elastic deformation of the insertion portion 61 make it possible to both easily and securely attach the skin material fastener 40 to the plate 10 and smoothly and easily detach the skin material fastener 40 attached to the plate 10 from the plate 10.

[0042] (2) The cover material fastener according to (1), wherein the chuck portion (50) extends in a direction intersecting the direction in which the insertion portion (61) is inserted into the locking hole (11) and has an abutment surface (56) that abuts against the plate (10). According to this configuration, the cover material fastener 40 is attached to the plate 10 by inserting the insertion portion 61 into the locking hole 11, and the abutment surface 56 on the chuck portion 50 abuts against the back surface 10b of the plate 10, making the chuck portion 50 less likely to rattle. As a result, the cover material fastener 40 can stably maintain a state in which it is firmly fixed to the plate 10 via the cover material 30 attached to the chuck portion 50, even when a shear force is applied.

[0043] (3) The upholstery material fastener according to (1) or (2), wherein the chuck portion (50) has an insertion pressure surface (57) that presses the insertion portion (61) into the locking hole (11). With this configuration, by pressing the upholstery material fastener 40 into the locking hole 11 via the insertion pressure surface 57, the pressing force can be efficiently transmitted to the insertion portion 61 of the upholstery material fastener 40. This makes the installation work of the upholstery material fastener 40 smoother and easier.

[0044] (4) The cover material fastener according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the operation portion (63) has a removal operation surface (63a) that is pressed in a direction approaching the chuck portion (50). According to this configuration, by pressing the removal operation surface (63a), the insertion portion 61 can be smoothly elastically deformed, so that the cover material fastener 40 can be easily removed from the locking hole 11.

[0045] (5) The cover material fastener according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the width of the insertion portion (61) gradually decreases in the direction of insertion into the locking hole (11). With this configuration, the tip side of the insertion portion (61) can be made thinner, making it easier to guide the cover material fastener (40) to the insertion position in the locking hole 11.

[0046] (6) The cover material fastener according to any one of (1) to (5), wherein the insertion portion (61) is formed in a V-shape or a U-shape. This configuration allows the insertion portion (61) to be smoothly inserted into the locking hole (11), and also makes it easy to elastically deform the insertion portion (61) using the operating portion (63).

[0047] (7) The cover material fastener according to any one of (1) to (6), wherein, when the insertion portion (61) is inserted into the locking hole (11), the chuck portion (50) provided on one end of the insertion portion (61) is positioned on the opposite side of the locking hole (11) from the operating portion (63) provided on the other end of the insertion portion (61). With this configuration, the chuck portion 50 and the operating portion 61 can be held in one hand by pinching them together, and at the same time, the insertion portion 61 can be elastically deformed, making it easy to remove the cover material fastener 40 from the locking hole 11.
