The present application discloses a data transmission method and device. The method comprises: a first device sends first information to a second device, wherein the first information is used for indicating a first format corresponding to first radio frequency channel data, and the first radio frequency channel data is used for indicating a channel state of a first geographic area; and the second device sends the first radio frequency channel data to the first device, wherein the format corresponding to the first radio frequency channel data is the first format. In the solution of the present application, the first device indicates a format of radio frequency channel data, so that the second device provides the radio frequency channel data in the corresponding format, thereby accurately providing the radio frequency channel data, and meeting requirements for different applications.
