[0113]
[0114] Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 (1) Preparation of test solutions of herbicidal efficacy potentiator compositions Component (A) or (A') shown in Table 1 and component (B) or (B') shown in Table 2 were added to an appropriate amount of water (tap water) to prepare herbicidal efficacy potentiator compositions. Next, the compositions were mixed with water to prepare test solutions of herbicidal efficacy potentiator compositions shown in Table 3. The content (ppm) of each component in the test solutions was as shown in Table 3. Note that the mass % of each component in Table 3 is all based on the active component (the mass of the compound used).
[0115] (2) Evaluation of Wettability The test plant used was the upper surface of the fifth leaf of barnyard grass (variety: green millet) at the eight-leaf stage grown in a 12 cm pot. Five 5 μL droplets of the test solution of the herbicidal efficacy enhancer composition of the present invention shown in Table 3 were dropped onto the center of the upper surface of the leaf. After 1 minute, the major and minor axes of each droplet were measured with a vernier caliper, and the area (mm ) of the droplet spread out as a rectangle was calculated. 2 ) was measured. The average of the five measured areas is shown in Table 3. The larger the area, the greater the effect of wettability on the plant leaf surface. As a result, as shown in Table 3, it was confirmed that the herbicidal efficacy enhancer composition of the present invention can dramatically improve wettability.
[0116]
[0117] Example 2 and Comparative Example 2 (3) Preparation of spray solution of herbicide composition shown in Table 4 Glufosinate ammonium salt (C-1) was used as the agrochemical active ingredient, which is the component (C) of the present invention, and was diluted with water to the active ingredient concentration shown in Table 4. A herbicidal efficacy enhancer composition shown in Table 3 was mixed therewith so that the content of each component became the active ingredient concentration shown in Table 4, thereby preparing a spray solution of the herbicide composition. The content of each component in the spray solution was the content (ppm) shown in Table 4.
[0118] (4) Herbicide Test (Glufosinate Test) As test plants, barnyard millet (variety: green millet) with a plant height of about 20 cm, grown in 12 cm pots, was prepared in five pots for each plot. 2 The plants were arranged at equal intervals between the test plants, and 100 mL of the herbicide composition spray solution prepared in (3) above (1000 L / ha as spray water volume) was sprayed onto the leaves using a trigger sprayer so that the entire plant was covered. The plants were then placed in a glass greenhouse (23°C) and allowed to stand for 14 days. 14 days after spraying, the above-ground parts of the test plants were harvested and the fresh weight (g) of the above-ground parts was measured. The average fresh weight of the above-ground parts of the five pots was taken as the "fresh weight of the above-ground parts of the treated area." The herbicidal rate based on the fresh weight of the above-ground parts of the untreated area was calculated according to the following formula. Here, the untreated area (1 m 2 The "untreated plot" (five pots arranged at equal intervals in a square sphere) refers to the plot to which the herbicide composition spray solution prepared in (3) above was not sprayed, and the average fresh weight of the aboveground parts of the five pots in the untreated plot was taken as the "fresh weight of the aboveground parts of the untreated plot." The calculated herbicidal rates (%) are shown in Table 4. A higher herbicidal rate indicates a higher herbicidal effect.
[0119] Herbicide rate (%) = [(fresh weight of above-ground part of untreated area - fresh weight of above-ground part of treated area) / fresh weight of above-ground part of untreated area] x 100

[0121] The results in Table 4 confirm that the herbicidal efficacy of the herbicidal composition of the present invention can be enhanced. It was also confirmed that the wettability evaluation of the herbicidal composition of the present invention containing (C-1) glufosinate ammonium salt as the agrochemical active ingredient, which is the component (C) in the present invention, correlates with the wettability evaluation of the herbicidal efficacy enhancer composition of the present invention (Table 3).
[0122] Example 3 and Comparative Example 3 (5) Preparation of spray solution of herbicide composition shown in Table 5 A spray solution of the herbicide composition shown in Table 5 was prepared in the same manner as in (3) above, except that (C-2) glyphosate isopropylamine salt was used instead of (C-1) shown in (3) above as the agricultural chemical technical ingredient (C) of the present invention. The content of each component in the spray solution was the content (ppm) shown in Table 5.
[0123] (6) Herbicidal test (glyphosate test) The test method was the same as in (4) Herbicidal test (glufosinate test). The herbicidal rate (%) calculated in the same manner as in (4) above is shown in Table 5.
[0124]
[0125] The results in Table 5 confirm that the herbicidal efficacy of the herbicidal composition of the present invention can be enhanced. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the wettability evaluation of the herbicidal composition of the present invention containing (C-2) glyphosate isopropylamine salt as the agricultural chemical active ingredient of the herbicide (component (C)) in the present invention correlates with the wettability evaluation of the herbicidal efficacy enhancer composition of the present invention (Table 3).
