Abstract

The present invention relates to a tool comprising a bearing support (1) and a liftable support (2), wherein the liftable support (2) is housed in the inner space defined by said bearing support (1) and can be lifted or tilted with respect to the bearing support (1), the tool also being provided with manual actuation means such that when actuated, it allows the liftable support (2) to be lifted or tilted with respect to the bearing support (1). [0004] The object of the present invention, as stated in the title of the invention, is a tool for lifting or lowering wheels in the assembly or disassembly process, so that it does not require holding the wheels by hand during either of the two actions.

[0005] The present invention is characterized by the special design and configuration of each and every one of the pieces and elements that make up the tool, so that a tool that is simple in conception and manufacture and effective in its results is achieved.

[0006] Therefore, the present invention is circumscribed within the field of tools and accessories used in the mechanics, preferably of motorcycles.

[0007] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0008] In the state of the art, lifting or lowering stands are known, used to work with motorcycles and similar items, allowing the motorcycle to be lifted, leaving one of the wheels in the air, which facilitates both repairs and the mounting and dismounting of wheels.

[0009] However, although these wheel assembly and disassembly operations are facilitated by lifting stands, they do not solve the problem of raising and lowering the wheels for assembly or disassembly, since these actions have to be done manually, with the consequent difficulties, such as the possibility of injury, falling from some force as well as the effort that would have to be made when having to lift and hold the wheels by hand in the lifting and lowering processes.

[0010] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to improve the assembly and disassembly processes of the wheels from how they have been carried out until now so that it becomes necessary to lift or lower the wheels by hand during assembly and disassembly, developing an auxiliary tool as described below and included in its essential aspects in claim one.

[0012] The object of the present invention is set out in its essentials in the independent claim and the different embodiments are set out in the dependent claims.

[0013] The present invention relates to a tool for raising or lowering wheels during the wheel assembly or disassembly process in such a way that human effort is not required, freeing the hands to carry out complementary actions such as the fixing or loosening of the nuts of the fixing screws to the fixing plate.

[0014] To achieve this purpose, the tool has a support or base for ground support and a piece or support that can be lifted relative to the support support, the lifting support being housed in the interior space defined by the support support, the support support and the lifting support being joined together, and also having manual means of operation such that when activated it allows the lifting of the lifting support relative to the support support.

[0031] In view of the figures, a preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is described below.

[0032] In Figure 1 we can observe the tool that is the object of the invention, where said tool is supporting a wheel (16) with a motorcycle being lifted by means of a stand (17).

[0033] The tool comprises a support stand (1) and a liftable stand (2), where the liftable stand (2) is housed in the interior space defined by said support stand (1) and can be raised or tilted with respect to the support stand (1) depending on the type of connection it has with respect to the support stand, also having as manual drive means such that when actuated it allows the lifting of the tiltable stand (2) with respect to the support stand (1).

[0034] Figure 3 shows in detail the support bracket (1), which, as can be seen, comprises a support base (3) and a vertical wall (4) located at one end of the support base (3). Both elements are joined by external reinforcing brackets (5). Furthermore, a hole (12) is defined in the vertical wall (4), which in the embodiment shown is threaded by means of an internally threaded nut (13). Claims

CLAIMS 1.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels characterized in that it comprises a support support (1) and a lifting support (2), where the lifting support (2) is housed in the interior space defined by said support support (1) and can be raised or tilted with respect to the support support (1), also having as manual drive means such that when actuated it allows the lifting or tilting of the lifting support (2) with respect to the support support (1). 2.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels according to claim 1 characterized in that the support support (1) comprises a support base (3), a vertical wall (4) arranged at one end of the support base (3), both elements being joined by means of external reinforcing brackets (5). 3.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the lifting support (2) comprises a movable support base (6) which at one of its ends has an inner vertical wall (7), the movable support base (6) being joined to the inner vertical wall (7) by means of some inner reinforcing gussets (8). 4.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels according to claim 1 or 2 or 3 characterized in that the support support (1) and the lifting support (2) are joined by means of an articulated joint comprising a pivot axis (14) that passes through the outer reinforcing brackets (5) and the inner reinforcing brackets (8) being fixed at its ends by means of fasteners (15).

A tool for raising or lowering wheels according to claim 1, 2, or 3, characterized in that the support bracket (1) and the lifting bracket (2) are joined by a first pair of connecting rods (21) located at the front of the tool and a second pair of connecting rods (22) located at the rear of the tool, where each pair of connecting rods is arranged facing each other, the first pair of connecting rods (21) being articulated at a first end (21.1) with the support bracket (1), while a second end (21.2) The second pair of connecting rods (21) is articulated to the lifting support (2) and, on the other hand, the second pair of connecting rods (22) placed at the rear of the tool, is joined at a first end (22.1) to the support support (1), while the second end (22.2) is joined to the lifting support (2). 6.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the drive means employed comprise a threaded rod (11) that passes through the vertical wall (4) via a perforation (12) and contacts at its end with the inner vertical wall (7) where the threaded rod (11) has at its free end an actuating handle (10). 7.- Tool for lifting or lowering wheels according to claim 5 characterized in that in order to retain the threaded stem (11) in its position it is necessary that the bore (12) is either threaded and / or has welded an internal threaded nut (13) and / or an external threaded nut fixed to the vertical wall (4)
