[0001] MODULAR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR TWO / THREE- DIMENSIONAL LIGHTING AND MODULE FOR THIS SYSTEM

[0002] The present invention relates , in general , to a modular electrical connection system for two / three-dimensional lighting and to a module for such system, in particular comprising a LED lighting body .

[0003] Modular electrical connection systems for lighting comprising modules equipped with a lighting body are known in the art .

[0004] In general , modular electrical connection systems for lighting have the problem of allowing the creation of a plurality of products of di f ferent shapes , starting from modules with reduced si ze and weight characteristics that allow the creation of sel f-supporting volumes characterised by signi ficant lightness , equipped with a lighting body that does not require the dissipation of large quantities of heat . Obj ect of the present invention is solving the aforementioned prior art problems by providing a modular electrical connection system for two / three- dimensional lighting and a module for such system having the aforementioned characteristics .

[0012] Referring to the Figures , the modular electrical connection system 100 for two / three-dimensional lighting in accordance with the present invention comprises a plurality of two-dimensional modules 10 , each module 10 comprising two distinct poles 11 , 12 connectable to an electrical power supply, a negative pole 11 and a positive pole 12 , each pole 11 , 12 being formed by a wire made of externally insulated electrically conductive material , for example enamelled copper, comprising non-insulated connection portions 14 , 15 , 16 to connect the two poles

[0020] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the modular electrical connection system 100 for two / three-dimensional lighting is made by weaving the two-dimensional modules 10 in a net shape , ere- ating a weave of threads , obtained with a proces s similar to weaving with a manual loom, which connect a plurality of light sources 50 , preferably very low voltage ELV type LEDs , and form a sel f-supporting three-dimensional volume .

[0021] Advantageously, the modular electrical connection system 100 for two / three-dimensional lighting allows the creation, starting from 10 modules with reduced si ze and weight , of a plurality of products of di f ferent shapes and sel f-supporting volumes equipped with a lighting body that does not require the dissipation of large quantities of heat .

CLAIMS1. Modular electrical connection system (100) for two / three-dimensional lighting comprising a plurality of two-dimensional modules (10) , each module(10) comprising two distinct poles (11, 12) connectable to an electrical power supply, a negative pole(11) and a positive pole (12) , each pole (11, 12) being formed by an externally insulated wire made of electrically conductive material comprising non-in- sulated connection portions (14, 15, 16) to connect the two poles (11, 12) to each other via electrical contact elements (31, 32) connected to a light source (50) , the light source being a lighting body (50) comprising a LED filament (51) used in the absence of heat-conducting inert gas, the LED filament (51) comprising, integrated with each of the two positive and negative poles, an electromagnetic connection system (52) comprising a first wire (53) made of electrically conductive material fixed to a second wire (54) made of ferritic material for magnetic conductivity, said wires being inserted in a tube (55) made of electrically conductive material.

Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to claim 1, characterised in that it comprises a first electrical contact element (31) connected to two externally non-insulated end connection portions (14, 15) of the two wires constituting the negative pole (11) and the positive pole (12) , and a second electrical contact element (32) connected to an externally non-insulated intermediate connection portion (16) of the wire constituting the positive pole (12) .

3. Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to claim 2, characterised in that the light source (50) is connected to the wires via electrical magnetic contact elements (31, 32) .

4. Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to claim 3, characterised in that the electrical-magnetic contact elements (31, 32) each comprise a connection element (33) comprising details with mechanical clamping to the wires, to which a magnetic disk is fixed.

5. Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to claim 1, characterised in thatthe LED filament (51) is rigid or flexible.

6. Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the LED filament (51) is covered with a glass or a translucent insulating material (56) .

Modular electrical connection system (100) for lighting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is made by intertwining the two-dimensional modules (10) in the shape of a net, creating a network of wires that connect a plurality of light sources (50) and form a self-supporting three-dimensional volume.

Two-dimensional module (10) for a modular system (100) for electrical connection for lighting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises two distinct poles (11, 12) connectable to an electrical supply, a negative pole (11) and a positive pole (12) , each pole (11, 12) being formed by an externally insulated wire made of electrically conductive material comprising non-in- sulated connection portions (14, 15, 16) forconnecting the two poles (11, 12) to each other via electrical contact elements (31, 32) connectable to a light source (50) .
