Abstract

The invention relates to electric kitchen appliances for cooking food. A combined air fryer and multicooker comprises a housing having a control panel and a cavity in one side for a pullout drawer with a pan disposed therein. Disposed in the bottom of the cavity is a lower heating element corresponding in shape to the bottom of the pan and having an upwardly projecting temperature sensor. The side walls of the cavity are configured with guides, and the drawer is provided with a front panel and slides. Disposed in the upper part of the cavity are an upper heating element and a fan. [0002] The invention relates to electric kitchen appliances for cooking food using thermal action.

[0003] Today, various devices for cooking food using heat are available, such as air fryers. They cook food by convection of hot air in a closed system (without exhaust). Most have only one heating element at the top and, with rare exceptions, an additional lower heater, which maintains the temperature around and inside the bowl, but cannot, on its own, provide sufficient heat to cook the food. These heaters are tubular and do not touch the bowl, but instead heat the surrounding air.

[0004] Accordingly, in this version, the device cannot be used for preparing, for example, soups, porridges, cereals, where the volume of products and liquid is too large, and the convection of hot air will not be able to heat the water to a boil and, accordingly, cook the product.

[0008] The airfryer / multicooker comprises a housing with a control panel and a cavity with an inlet on the side of the housing, as well as a bowl. A lower heating element, shaped like the bowl's bottom, is located in the cavity's bottom, with a spring-loaded temperature sensor protruding upward from the surface of the heating element. Guides are provided on the side walls of the cavity, and an upper heating element and fan are located in the upper part of the cavity. The bowl rests on a drawer containing a front panel and runners corresponding to the cavity's guides. The airfryer / multicooker comprises a lid mounted on the bowl, which is concave toward the center of the bowl and houses a lid handle with an opening, no larger than the lid's concavity. On the side walls (8) of the cavity (4) there are guides (9), which are designed in such a way that they provide the possibility of installing the bowl (3) when sliding it into the cavity together with the drawer (2) along the guides (9) until it makes complete contact with the heating element (6) and the temperature sensor (7) and when the bowl (3) is completely pushed in. In the lower part of the inlet opening of the cavity (4) there may be a locking mechanism (10) ensuring the fixed fixation of the drawer (2) in the cavity (4) of the housing (1) in the fixed required position. In the upper part of the cavity (4) there is a second heating element and a fan to ensure that the claimed device performs the air grill function.The lower heating element (6), installed in the bottom of the cavity (4), and the second heating element, located in the upper part of the cavity (4) are full-fledged heating elements and can have a power of 800-2000 W, depending on the size of the device.

[0020] The drawer (2) comprises a front panel (12) continuing the shape of the housing (1) of the claimed device in the retracted state, and runners (13) designed for movement in the cavity (4) for the proper placement of the bowl (3) in the cavity (4) of the housing (1). The lid's design prevents condensation from accumulating on the lid during cooking, and excess pressure is released through a hole in the lid. The combination of the lid, the lower heating element with a temperature sensor, and the fan-assisted ventilation algorithm allows this appliance to cook dishes that are impossible to prepare in a conventional air fryer, such as porridges, soups, stews, and any dishes with a high water content.
