Description

Suspended shelf scaffolding and method for constructing the same

[0001] The present invention relates to a suspended shelf scaffold that is suspended from a high-altitude structure such as a bridge or a highway, and a method for constructing the suspended shelf scaffold.

[0002] In the past, for example, in high-altitude structures such as bridges and highways, suspended shelf scaffolding has been proposed as a scaffolding that is suspended from the structures and used for construction, repair, etc. This suspended shelf scaffolding is constructed by arranging multiple scaffolding boards side by side and suspended from the high-altitude structure (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] The hanging shelf scaffolding disclosed in Patent Document 1 is constructed by sequentially connecting multiple scaffolding boards horizontally. That is, a scaffolding board is suspended from a high-altitude structure, for example, by a suspension chain, and another scaffolding board similarly suspended is connected to it by connecting their longitudinal sides to each other. Then, another scaffolding board is connected to the other scaffolding board, and thereafter, other suspended scaffolding boards are sequentially connected in the same manner, thereby constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding with a desired scaffolding work area.

[0004] However, with this hanging shelf scaffolding, it is necessary to hang a suspension chain from each high-altitude structure, and then connect each of these suspension chains to multiple scaffolding planks one by one. These tasks are extremely cumbersome and time-consuming. Furthermore, in order to connect the scaffolding planks, a dedicated connection structure is required for each scaffolding plank, which increases the cost of the scaffolding planks themselves. Furthermore, when constructing this hanging shelf scaffolding, workers must work in an unstable state, which involves shaking, on the previous hanging scaffolding plank when connecting a new scaffolding plank.

[0005] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2022-182412

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a hanging shelf scaffolding that is easily constructed without increasing the labor costs or parts costs, and to provide a method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding that can be constructed in a safe manner.

[0007] The hanging shelf scaffolding provided by the first aspect of the present invention is characterized by comprising a pair of parent members suspended from a high structure and arranged in parallel, a plurality of auxiliary members arranged perpendicular to the pair of parent members and supported by one of the pair of parent members and for supporting the other of the pair of parent members, a plurality of support members connecting the pair of parent members, and a plurality of scaffolding boards juxtaposed between the pair of parent members and above the plurality of support members.

[0008] A method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding provided by a second aspect of the present invention is a method for constructing a new hanging shelf scaffolding in the expansion direction of an installed hanging shelf scaffolding suspended from a high structure, and is characterized by having the steps of attaching a plurality of long auxiliary members to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding, placing long support members on the upper surface of the auxiliary members in the vicinity of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding, attaching one end of each of a plurality of long roller members to the side of the support member, pushing the support member together with the plurality of roller members attached to it in the expansion direction, attaching the other ends of the pushed-out roller members to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding, and arranging a plurality of scaffolding boards in a row on top of the roller members.

[0009] In the method for constructing a suspended shelf scaffolding of the present invention, a guide member may be attached to the pushed-out parent member to guide it along the auxiliary member during the step of pushing out the parent member.

[0010] In the method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding of the present invention, in the process of attaching a plurality of auxiliary members to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding, the tips of the auxiliary members are preferably supported by connecting the upper ends of the supports provided on the installed hanging shelf scaffolding to the tips of the auxiliary members with chains.

[0011] In the method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding of the present invention, after the step of arranging multiple scaffolding boards in a row on top of the roller member, the method may include the steps of attaching a hanging chain to the extruded parent member that is suspended from the high-altitude structure, removing the diagonal chain connecting the upper end of the support pillar and the tip of the auxiliary member, and moving the support pillar in the expansion direction to the position of the extruded parent member.

[0012] In the method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding of the present invention, the support pillars may be movable along rail members arranged between the plurality of parent and child members.

[0013] According to the hanging shelf scaffolding of the present invention, a plurality of auxiliary members are provided between a pair of parallel-arranged parent and child members, and a plurality of supporting members are provided to connect the pair of parent and child members while being supported by the auxiliary members, and a plurality of scaffolding boards are arranged in parallel on top of the plurality of supporting members, so unlike conventional hanging shelf scaffolding, it is not necessary to use scaffolding boards attached one by one to hanging chains, and no dedicated connecting structure is required to connect them. This means that the component costs of the scaffolding boards themselves can be significantly reduced.

[0014] In addition, according to the method for constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding of the present invention, by pushing the parent member together with the multiple roller members attached to it in the expansion direction, an area for installing multiple scaffolding boards can be instantly secured, so that the hanging shelf scaffolding can be constructed more efficiently and in a shorter time than the conventional method of constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding by connecting scaffolding boards one by one. Furthermore, since the hanging shelf scaffolding is constructed simply by arranging the scaffolding boards side by side, there is no need to hang suspension chains one by one from the high structure and attach scaffolding boards to those suspension chains one by one, as in the conventional hanging shelf scaffolding, which significantly reduces the labor required for workers.

[0016] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0017] In this embodiment, the case where a new hanging shelf scaffolding is extended from an already installed hanging shelf scaffolding will be mainly described, but the case where a hanging shelf scaffolding is constructed from a state where nothing is suspended from a high-altitude structure (corresponding to the case where an already installed hanging shelf scaffolding is constructed) will also be described later. Note that the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding has almost the same configuration as the newly extended hanging shelf scaffolding. Therefore, components common to the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding and the newly extended hanging shelf scaffolding will be indicated by the same reference numerals in the drawings shown below.

[0018] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing the exterior of an installed suspended shelf scaffold. A newly expanded suspended shelf scaffold is constructed in the expansion direction A shown in the figure relative to the installed suspended shelf scaffold. The installed suspended shelf scaffold 1 is supported by multiple (four in the figure) suspension chains 2 suspended from an elevated structure such as a bridge or highway. The installed suspended shelf scaffold 1 comprises a pair of parallel-arranged support members 3 suspended from the suspension chains 2, auxiliary members and support members (not shown) for connecting the pair of support members 3, and multiple (seven in the figure) scaffolding boards 4. The auxiliary members and support members will be described later; these are the same as those used in the expanded suspended shelf scaffold.

[0019] The already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 is not limited to the configuration shown in Figure 1, as long as it has space (scaffolding work area for workers) in which a newly expanded hanging shelf scaffolding can be assembled.

[0020] 2A to 2C are diagrams showing the external appearance of the main part of the parent member 3, with FIG. 2A being a top view, FIG. 2B being a side view, and FIG. 2C being an enlarged view of the cross-section along line B-B. The parent member 3 is formed as a long, hollow rectangular parallelepiped with a groove 6 on its top surface. On both sides of the parent member 3, a plurality of support brackets 7, which are generally L-shaped in side view, are provided for supporting the roller members 33, as described below. The support brackets 7 are attached to the side of the parent member 3 at a slight incline to facilitate support of the ends of the roller members 33 and to prevent the roller members 33 from falling when supported. Furthermore, the support brackets 7 are formed with engagement holes, not shown, for attaching the roller members 33.

[0021] A plurality of locking pins 8 are provided inside the groove 6 of the parent member 3 to connect the side plates of the parent member 3. These locking pins 8 are used to lock the hanging chain 2, the mounting member 11, the auxiliary member 20, the guide member 34, etc., which will be described later.

[0022] When an already installed suspended shelf scaffolding 1 is to be newly expanded in the expansion direction A, two rail members 12 are arranged to provide support parts 10, which will be described later, as shown in Figure 3. The two rail members 12 are each formed in a pipe shape and are arranged to span a pair of parent and child members 3 by means of mounting members 11 attached to both ends of the rail members 12.

[0023] 4A, the mounting member 11 is configured to support the rail member 12 and is composed of a main body 11a, a rail support portion 11b provided on the upper part of the main body 11a, and a hook portion 11c provided on the lower part of the main body 11a. The rail support portion 11b is formed in a substantially T-shape and has a pipe 12d extending laterally.

[0024] The mounting member 11 is inserted from above into the groove 6 of the parent member 3 (see arrow C in FIG. 4A), and as shown in FIG. 4B, the hook portion 11c is locked onto the locking pin 8 of the parent member 3. Then, the bolt 11e presses the locking pin 8 from an oblique direction (see arrow D in FIG. 4B), thereby fixing the mounting member 11 to the parent member 3.

[0025] 5, a support portion 10 for supporting an auxiliary member 20 (described later) is provided on the upper portion of the two rail members 12. The support portion 10 is composed of a long support post 13, a short support post 15, and a bracket member 16.

[0026] The long support 13 is provided to extend in a substantially vertical direction on the mounting member 11 on the deeper side of the pair of mounting members 11. Although not shown, the lower part of the long support 13 is formed in a substantially U-shape, and the rail support part 11b of the mounting member 11 is clamped in this part and fastened with a pin or a bolt, thereby supporting the long support 13 on the mounting member 11.

[0027] The upper end of the long support 13 is formed with a substantially annular ring portion 14 for tensioning a diagonal chain 21, which will be described later. The short support 15 is provided on the front mounting member 11, extending substantially vertically and shorter than the long support 13. Although not shown, the lower portion of the short support 15 is configured similarly to the lower portion of the long support 13, and the short support 15 is supported by the mounting member 11. The bracket member 16 is provided to connect and support the long support 13 and the short support 15, and is integrally provided by a plurality of frame members.

[0028] As shown in Figure 6, a pair of auxiliary members 20 are attached to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1, facing in the expansion direction A.

[0029] 7A to 7C are diagrams showing the external appearance of the main parts of auxiliary member 20, with Fig. 7A being a top view, Fig. 7B being a side view, and Fig. 7C being an enlarged front view seen from the front side. Auxiliary member 20 has a main body formed in the shape of a long, hollow rectangular parallelepiped, with a hook 22 formed at one end of the main body that is roughly U-shaped in side view. A curved recess 23 is formed at the lower end of the tip of hook 22 for engaging with locking pin 8 of parent member 3 (see Fig. 7C). Note that curved recess 23 may also be formed linearly.

[0030] An upwardly extending stopper piece 24 is formed near the other end of the main body of the auxiliary member 20. The stopper piece 24 abuts against the push-out member 31, which will be described later, when the push-out member 31 is pushed out, thereby preventing the push-out member 31 from moving.

[0031] A chain attachment member 25 for attaching a diagonal chain 21 (described later) is provided at the other end of the main body of the auxiliary member 20. The chain attachment member 25 consists of a pair of opposing attachment pieces 26 and a pin member 27 connecting the two. Each attachment piece 26 has an elongated hole 28 extending in the vertical direction. A bolt 29 provided near the other end of the main body of the auxiliary member 20 slides within the elongated hole 28, making the chain attachment member 25 movable in the vertical direction at the other end of the main body of the auxiliary member 20. When the diagonal chain 21 is attached, the chain attachment member 25 moves upward as shown in FIG. 7B .

[0032] Between the pair of attachment pieces 26, a receiving member 30 is provided that engages the pin member 27 to prevent the chain attachment member 25 from moving downward (see FIG. 7A).

[0033] When a worker attaches a pair of auxiliary members 20 to the installed suspended shelf scaffolding 1, the hook 22 formed on one end of the auxiliary member 20 is inserted from above into the groove portion 6 of the parent member 3 (see arrow E in FIG. 8A ), and although not shown, the curved recess 23 is engaged with the locking pin 8 of the parent member 3, thereby attaching the hook 22 of the auxiliary member 20 to the parent member 3. Then, on the installed suspended shelf scaffolding 1, the diagonal chain 21 is wound around the pin member 27 of the chain attachment member 25 of the auxiliary member 20 and also around the annular portion 14 of the long strut 13. As a result, the auxiliary member 20 is supported by the annular portion 14 of the long strut 13 by the diagonal chain 21 while extended in the expansion direction A, as shown in FIG.

[0034] However, in this state, the diagonal chain 21 is slack, so tension is applied to the diagonal chain 21 by a tensioning member (not shown). As a result, the auxiliary member 20 is supported by the parent member 3 with the other end of the main body slightly raised. Note that the tensioning member may be an adjuster known as a "Kimechen" (registered trademark), which adjusts the length of a chain or the like.

[0035] Next, as shown in Fig. 9, a push-out member 31 (hereinafter referred to as "pushing-out member 31") that is pushed out in the expansion direction A is prepared. The push-out member 31 has the same configuration as the push-out member 3 described above.

[0036] The push-out member 31 is placed by an operator on the upper front side of the pair of auxiliary members 20 extended in the expansion direction A. Then, guide members 34 for guiding the push-out member 31 are attached to the placement portions of the auxiliary members 20 of the push-out member 31, respectively.

[0037] 10A to 10C are diagrams showing the external appearance of the main parts of guide member 34, with Fig. 10A being a top view, Fig. 10B being a front view, and Fig. 10C being a side view. Guide member 34 is composed of U-shaped portion 35 formed in a substantially U-shape when viewed from the side, and extension portion 36 extending substantially horizontally from the lower end of U-shaped portion 35.

[0038] A downwardly open recess 37 is formed in the center of the tip of the U-shaped portion 35 (see FIG. 10B). A rotatable, approximately L-shaped retaining pin 38 is provided inside the U-shaped portion 35, and a thumbscrew 39 is threadedly fitted onto the retaining pin 38 on the upper surface of the U-shaped portion 35. In addition, a pair of guide rods 40 extending downward are provided on the extension portion 36.

[0039] When an operator attaches the guide member 34 to the pusher member 31 and the auxiliary member 20, as shown in Fig. 11A, the pair of guide rods 40 first sandwich the auxiliary member 20, and the tip of the U-shaped portion 35 is inserted into the groove 6. Then, although not shown, the locking pin 8 on the inside of the pusher member 31 is locked into the recess 37 of the U-shaped portion 35. Then, the retaining pin 38 is rotated (see arrow F in Fig. 10A), and the locking pin 8 on the inside of the pusher member 31 is sandwiched between the recess 37 and the retaining pin 38. Then, the thumbscrew 39 is tightened, thereby fixing the guide member 34 to the pusher member 31 (see Fig. 11B).

[0040] Next, as shown in Figure 12, a plurality of (four in this figure) roller members 33 are attached to the side surface 32 on the front side of the push-out member 31. The roller members 33 are formed in an elongated shape, and a wedge-type connecting mechanism (not shown), for example, is formed on both ends. One end of the roller members 33 is attached to an engagement hole (not shown) of the support bracket 7 provided on the side surface 32 of the push-out member 31. Note that the number of roller members 33 attached to the push-out member 31 is not limited to the above.

[0041] Next, the push-out guide members 31 placed on the auxiliary member 20 are pushed along the auxiliary member 20 in the expansion direction A together with the roller members 33 attached thereto, as shown in Figure 13. Specifically, the roller members 33 are grasped by workers (preferably multiple workers) and pushed along with the push-out guide members 31 in the expansion direction A. The push-out guide members 31 are pushed out until they abut against the stopper pieces 24 (see Figure 7) of the auxiliary member 20. In this case, the auxiliary member 20 functions to support the push-out guide members 31 being pushed out.

[0042] The guide member 34 is guided along the auxiliary member 20 by a pair of guide rods 40, so that the push-out member 31 is moved in the expansion direction A on the auxiliary member 20 in a stable state so that the auxiliary member 20 and the push-out member 33 are maintained in a state of being approximately parallel to each other.

[0043] 13, a worker attaches the other front end of the roller support member 33 to the side of the parent member 3 on the side of the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1. In this case, the other end of the roller support member 33 is also formed with a wedge tightening type connecting mechanism (not shown) similar to the one end, so the roller support member 33 is firmly attached to the engagement hole (not shown) of the support bracket 7 of the parent member 3.

[0044] Thus, according to this embodiment, the push-out member 31 to which multiple roll-out members 33 are attached is pushed out up to the stopper piece 24 of the auxiliary member 20, thereby ensuring sufficient area for installing multiple scaffolding boards 4.

[0045] Next, as shown in Figure 14, a plurality of scaffolding boards 4 (seven in the figure) are arranged side by side on top of a plurality of roller members 33 (not shown) connected between the push-out guide member 31 and the guide member 3. The plurality of scaffolding boards 4 are arranged sequentially from the front side of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 toward the expansion direction A. At this time, although not shown, when the scaffolding boards 4 have been arranged up to the position just before the push-out guide member 31, the guide member 34 (see Figure 13) attached to the push-out guide member 31 is removed from the push-out guide member 31. Thereafter, the last scaffolding board 4L is arranged along the push-out guide member 31.

[0046] Next, as shown in Fig. 15, new hanging chains 41 suspended from the elevated structure are attached to the vicinity of both ends of the push-out member 31. In this case, the hanging chains 41 are wound around the locking pins 8 (see Fig. 2A) of the push-out member 31.

[0047] Once the suspension chain 41 is attached to the push-out member 31, the tensioning member (not shown) that was applying tension to the diagonal chain 21 (see FIG. 14) is then removed, and the diagonal chain 21 is also removed. Specifically, a worker removes the diagonal chain 21 from the annular portion 14 of the long strut 13 and the pin member 27 (see FIG. 7) of the mounting member 25 of the auxiliary member 20. As a result, the tension on the pair of auxiliary members 20 is released, and the other ends are slightly lowered, displacing them so that they extend substantially horizontally relative to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1. Similarly, the scaffolding boards 4 that were juxtaposed to the roller member 33 are displaced so that they extend substantially horizontally relative to the scaffolding boards 4 of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1.

[0048] 16 , the pair of support parts 10 that were installed on the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 are removed. In this way, a new hanging shelf scaffolding 51 is constructed in the expansion direction A relative to the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1.

[0049] 17 , a plurality of pressure plates 43 (for example, crosspieces) for pressing down the juxtaposed scaffolding boards 4 from above may be installed on the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 and the new hanging shelf scaffolding 51. The pressure plates 43 are provided near both ends of the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 and the expanded hanging shelf scaffolding 51 so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the scaffolding boards 4.

[0050] 18A and 18B, the presser plate 43 is attached to the parent member 3 and the pusher member 31 (hereinafter referred to as "parent member 3, etc.") by means of presser members 44 near both ends. The presser member 44 comprises an action portion 45 formed by bending to press the presser plate 43, and an attachment portion 46 extending horizontally from the lower end of the action portion 45. A bolt 47 passes through the attachment portion 46, and a wooden piece-shaped engagement piece 48 is provided rotatably near the lower end of the bolt 47.

[0051] The holding member 44 presses down on the vicinity of the end of the holding plate 43 from above (see arrow G in FIG. 18A), and the engaging piece 48 is inserted into the groove 6 of the parent member 3, etc. Then, although not shown, the engaging piece 48 is rotated by about 90 degrees to engage with the inside of the parent member 3, etc., and the holding member 44 is attached while pressing down on the holding plate 43, etc. In this way, the multiple scaffolding plates 4 will not move unintentionally and will be firmly laid.

[0052] In this way, a new hanging shelf scaffolding 51 is constructed by expanding the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1. According to this method of constructing a hanging shelf scaffolding, a sufficient area to be expanded is secured by the auxiliary members 20, the push-out members 31, and the roller members 33, and scaffolding boards 4 are arranged in this secured area to construct the new hanging shelf scaffolding 51. Therefore, compared to the conventional method of constructing a hanging shelf scaffold by connecting scaffolding boards one by one, a hanging shelf scaffolding can be constructed more efficiently and in a shorter time.

[0053] Furthermore, while conventional construction methods required the work of attaching a suspension chain to each scaffolding plank one by one in order to suspend the scaffolding planks from a high-altitude structure, the construction method of the present invention allows the hanging shelf scaffolding 51 to be constructed simply by arranging the scaffolding planks 4. This eliminates the need to attach suspension chains one by one to the high-altitude structure and then attach those suspension chains to the scaffolding planks one by one, significantly reducing the amount of work required by workers.

[0054] Furthermore, in conventional hanging shelf scaffolding, in order to connect scaffolding boards together, a dedicated connecting structure was required for each scaffolding board, which could increase the parts cost of the scaffolding board itself. However, with the construction method of the present invention, such a dedicated connecting structure is not required for the scaffolding board 4, so parts costs can be reduced.

[0055] Furthermore, in conventional construction methods, when connecting a new scaffolding board, workers had to work on the previous scaffolding board in an unstable state that involved shaking, but in the construction method of the present invention, almost all work can be done on the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1, making it a construction method with excellent safety.

[0056] Next, a description will be given of a case in which a new hanging shelf scaffolding is further extended in the extension direction A in the above embodiment. In this case, the support portion 10 (see FIG. 15 ) on the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 is moved in the extension direction A.

[0057] More specifically, as shown in Figure 19, one end of the expansion rail member 52 is fitted into the pipes 11d (see Figure 4) of a pair of mounting members 11 located at the positions of the long struts 13 of the support unit 10. Then, a pair of new mounting members 53 are attached to the other ends of the expansion rail members 52. The new mounting members 53 are attached to the push-out member 31 by fitting into the grooves 6 (not shown) of the push-out member 31 at positions on the extension line in the expansion direction A of the support unit 10. The rail members 52 and the mounting members 53 have the same configuration as the rail member 12 and the mounting member 11, respectively.

[0058] Next, as shown by arrow H in Figure 20, the long members 13, short members 15, and bracket members 16 of the support section 10 are moved together along the newly added rail members 52 for expansion. After that, similar to the procedure shown in Figures 6, 9, and 12 to 14 above, a new pair of auxiliary members 20 are attached to the ends of the pair of rail members 52, and the push-out member 31 is moved on the auxiliary members 20. Then, as shown in Figure 21, multiple scaffolding boards 4 are arranged, and a new hanging shelf scaffolding 61 is further expanded and installed.

[0059] In this way, when a new hanging shelf scaffolding 61 is provided on the expansion direction A side, the auxiliary member 20 for the new hanging shelf scaffolding 61 can be arranged by attaching a new extension rail member 52 and a pair of mounting members 53 and moving the upper portion of the support part 10 along the rail member 52. This makes it possible to further expand the new hanging shelf scaffolding 61 in the expansion direction A side easily and in a short time.

[0060] Next, we will explain the case where the hanging shelf scaffolding is expanded in the left-right direction (see arrow J in Figure 22), which is a direction approximately perpendicular to the expansion direction A. In this case, as shown in Figure 22, a part of a joint member group 55 made up of multiple types of members is attached to one end of the parent member 3 of the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 on the expansion direction side in order to connect to a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 (described later). Note that if it is known in advance that the hanging shelf scaffolding will be expanded in the left-right direction, a part of the joint member group 55 may be attached to one end of the parent member 3 during work on the ground.

[0061] As shown in Figure 23, the group of joint members 55 consists of a connecting support member 56 for connecting the parent members 3 to each other in a substantially straight line, a horizontal bolt 57 for connecting the parent members 3 of the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 to the connecting support member 56, a covering member 58 for pressing the tips of the parent members 3 against each other from above, a vertical bolt 59 for fixing the covering member 58 to the connecting support member 56, and a stop member 60 for connecting the parent member 3 of the new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 to the connecting support member 56.

[0062] The connecting support member 56 is formed in a generally U-shape when viewed from the front, with a generally semicircular convex portion 62 formed in the center of each of the opposing side surfaces. The covering member 58 is provided to cover the connecting support member 56 from above, with a generally semicircular concave portion 63 formed in the center of each of the opposing side surfaces, and an elongated hole 64 formed in the center of the top surface. The retaining member 60 has a retaining pin 65 that penetrates both of the opposing side surfaces of the connecting support member 56 and the parent member 3 of the new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 in the horizontal direction. The retaining member 60 also has a generally L-shaped locking piece 66 when viewed from the front that locks onto the parent member 3 of the new hanging shelf scaffolding 71.

[0063] When a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 is constructed to the left and right of an already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1, a pair of parent and child members 3 that will form part of the new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 are raised while being placed on, for example, the loading platform of an aerial work vehicle R, and their ends in the extension direction are suspended from, for example, an elevated structure by a plurality of suspension chains 2, as shown in Figure 24. The pair of parent and child members 3 are supported by a worker M on the loading platform and connected to the parent and child members 3 of the already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1.

[0064] In this case, as shown in Figure 25, a connecting support member 56 is connected to the tip of the parent member 3 of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 by a horizontal bolt 57. The horizontal bolt 57 penetrates both opposing side surfaces of the connecting support member 56 and the parent member 3 of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 in the horizontal direction. In addition, a covering member 58 is temporarily fixed in an inclined state to the top of the connecting support member 56 by a vertical bolt 59. The vertical bolt 59 penetrates an elongated hole 64 formed in the covering member 58 and is screwed into a threaded portion (not shown) formed in the bottom of the connecting support member 56.

[0065] In this way, since the connecting receiving member 56 and the covering member 58 are attached to the tip of the parent member 3 in advance, each member of the joint member group 55 does not have to be attached to the parent member 3 at a high place, for example, and it is possible to prevent each member from falling during the installation work.

[0066] Then, as shown in Figure 26, the tips of the parent members 3 of the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 and the parent members 3 of the extension hanging shelf scaffolding 71 abut against each other inside the connecting support member 56, and the anti-pullout pin 65 of the anti-pullout member 60 penetrates both the connecting support member 56 and the parent member 3 of the extension hanging shelf scaffolding 71.

[0067] Thereafter, the retaining member 60 rotates about the retaining pin 65, and the locking piece 66 locks into the parent member 3 of the expansion hanging shelf scaffolding 71. Then, as shown in Figure 27, the covering member 58 is laid face down, and the convex portion 62 of the connecting receiver member 56 is fitted into the concave portion 63 of the covering member 58 (see Figure 23 for both). Then, the vertical bolt 59 is screwed into a threaded portion (not shown) formed on the bottom of the connecting receiver member 56, and the covering member 58 is fastened to the connecting receiver member 56. As a result, as shown in Figure 28, the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 and the pair of parent members 3 of the expansion hanging shelf scaffolding 71 are firmly connected by the joint member group 55.

[0068] When a pair of parent members 3 are connected to the installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1 by the joint member group 55, as shown in Fig. 29, a pair of auxiliary members 20 are respectively arranged between the pair of parent members 3 to bridge them, forming an expansion hanging shelf scaffolding 71. As a result, the pair of parent members 3 are arranged parallel to each other with a predetermined gap between them.

[0069] 30, a plurality of (four in the figure) roller support members 33 are placed between each pair of support members 3. After that, although not shown, a plurality of scaffolding boards 4 are juxtaposed between the pair of support members 3 on the auxiliary members 20 and the roller support members 33, and a new suspended scaffolding 71 is constructed to the left and right of the already installed suspended shelf scaffolding 1. In this way, a new suspended shelf scaffolding 71 can be easily constructed in the area to the left and right of the already installed suspended shelf scaffolding 1.

[0070] 22 to 30 are not limited to cases where a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 is constructed to the left and right of an already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1, but can also be applied, for example, to cases where a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 is constructed from scratch from an already installed hanging shelf scaffolding 1. Also, in the above embodiment, a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71 is constructed using an aerial work vehicle R, but instead, both ends of a pair of parent and child members 3 may be suspended by the hanging chains 2 to construct a new hanging shelf scaffolding 71.

[0071] The scope of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the invention. For example, the configurations, shapes, sizes, and quantities of the hanging shelf scaffolding, the stepping members 3, the scaffolding boards 4, the support members 10, the auxiliary members 20, the push-out stepping members 31, the roll-over members 33, the guide members 34, etc. in the above-described embodiment are not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate.

[0072] In the above embodiment, the thumb member 3 is the one shown in FIGS. 2A to 2C. Alternatively, a thumb member 73 shown in FIGS. 31A to 31C may be used. The thumb member 73 has a differently shaped support support 74 instead of the support support 7 of the thumb member 3. That is, the support support 74 of the thumb member 73 is generally U-shaped in side view, and multiple support support supports 74 are provided at predetermined intervals. Each support support 74 has a locking hole 75 formed in its bottom surface for locking a spring member 77 (described below) (see FIG. 31A). Furthermore, a locking hole 76 formed in its side surface for inserting a lock pin 78 (described below) of the spring member 77 (see FIG. 31C). The rest of the configuration of the thumb member 73 is the same as that of the thumb member 3.

[0073] When using the above-described parent / child member 73, a locking member 77 having a shape suitable for the support bracket 74 of the parent / child member 73 may be used in place of the locking member 33. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 32A to 32C , the locking member 77 is formed in a generally square pipe shape, and a locking pin 78 that can move back and forth is provided on the side surface near each end. As will be described later, the locking pin 78 is formed in a generally U-shape with different pin lengths, and a spring 79 that biases the locking pin 78 toward the locking member 77 is wound around the inside of the locking member 77 (see FIG. 32C ). Furthermore, the locking member 77 has a protrusion 80 formed on the underside near each end.

[0074] The above-described thumb member 73 may be used in place of the push-out thumb member 31 (see FIG. 9 and others) in addition to being used in place of the thumb member 3. For example, as shown in FIG. 12, when the roll-over member 33 is attached to the push-out thumb member 31, the thumb member 73 may be used in place of the push-out thumb member 31, and a roll-over member 77 may be attached to the thumb member 73.

[0075] 33A and 33B, one end of the roller member 77 is attached to the support bracket 74 of the parent member 73 (see arrow L). In this case, the worker places one end of the roller member 77 on the support bracket 74 of the parent member 73 while keeping the lock pin 78 pulled out to the outside of the roller member 77 (see arrow M in FIG. 34A). At this time, the protrusion 80 of the roller member 77 fits into the locking hole 75 of the support bracket 74.

[0076] Then, the worker releases the lock pin 78, causing the spring 79 to expand, moving the lock pin 78 toward the roller member 77, and one end of the lock pin 78 is inserted into the locking hole 76 of the support receiver 74 (see arrow N in Figure 34B). As a result, the roller member 77 is attached to the support receiver 74 of the parent member 73.

[0077] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the mounting member 11 supporting the rail member 12 (see FIGS. 4A and 4B ) may be replaced with a mounting member 82 shaped as shown in FIGS. 35A and 35B . Specifically, the mounting member 82 includes a main body 82a having a rail support portion 82b formed in a generally T-shape at its upper portion. A pair of mounting portions 82c extending laterally is formed at the lower portion of the main body 82a. A bolt 82d passes through each of the pair of mounting portions 82c, and a wooden piece-like engaging piece 82e is rotatably provided near the lower end of each bolt 82d. Furthermore, a support piece 82g having a generally semicircular recess 82f is provided at the lower center of the main body 82a.

[0078] As shown in Figure 35A, the support piece 82g and the engagement piece 82e of the mounting member 82 are inserted into the groove 6 of the parent member 73 from above (see arrow P). Next, the recess 82f of the support piece 82g is engaged with the locking pin 8 of the parent member 73, and although not shown, each engagement piece 82e is rotated approximately 90° to be engaged with the inside of the parent member 73. This secures the mounting member 82 to the parent member 73, as shown in Figure 35B. In this case, since the mounting member 82 has multiple engagement pieces 82e, it is more stably and firmly secured to the parent member 73 than the mounting member 11.

[0079] In the above embodiment, guide member 34 for guiding push-out member 31 is shown (see FIGS. 10A to 10C), but instead, guide member 84 having a shape as shown in FIGS. 36A to 36D may be used. That is, guide member 84 is made up of U-shaped portion 85 formed in a substantially U-shape when viewed from the front, and extension portion 86 extending substantially horizontally from the lower end of U-shaped portion 85.

[0080] A recess 87 that is open downward is formed in the center of the tip of the U-shaped portion 85 (see Figure 36B). An extension 88 is formed at the end of the upper surface of the U-shaped portion 85. A bolt 89 passes through the extension 88, and a wooden piece-like engagement piece 90 is rotatably provided near the lower end of the bolt 89. In addition, a pair of guide rods 91 extending downward are provided on the extension 86.

[0081] When the guide member 84 is attached to the parent member 73, for example, as shown in Fig. 36C, the pair of guide rods 91 sandwich the auxiliary member 20, and a part of the U-shaped portion 85 and the engagement piece 90 are inserted into the groove 6 of the parent member 73. Then, although not shown, the engagement piece 90 is rotated approximately 90° and is locked to the inside of the parent member 73. This fixes the guide member 84 to the parent member 73 as shown in Fig. 36D.
