Method for purifying and diversifying products of low-grade natural gas rich in helium

Abstract

The application discloses a method for purifying and diversifying products of helium-rich low-grade natural gas, and belongs to the technical field of natural gas purification. In view of the key problem that there is a lack of relatively economical natural gas helium extraction and synchronous denitrogenation technology in China, a topological structure design strategy of a cascade coupling process with complementary advantages of multiple separation membranes, an electrochemical hydrogen pump and adsorption is proposed. The advantages of the separation unit are determined by taking the helium recovery rate, the helium purity, the heat value of long-distance pipeline natural gas, the methane recovery rate and the energy consumption as multi-objective criteria, the overall design and collaborative optimization of the multi-technology coupling production of diversified products are realized, the separation energy consumption is effectively reduced, and the production of diversified products such as helium and long-distance pipeline natural gas from the helium-rich low-grade natural gas is realized at low cost and high yield.
