Description
Technical Field
[0001] This disclosure relates to the field of hose strength testing equipment technology, and in particular to a hose strength testing device. Background Technology
[0002] To ensure the safe use of hoses and to ensure that hoses meet usage requirements, it is often necessary to test the structural strength of the hoses, which requires the use of hose strength testing equipment.
[0003] Patent application CN202310276882.3 discloses an explosion-proof hose testing device and its testing method. The device involves mounting the two ends of the explosion-proof hose to be tested onto the hose clamps of two hose mounting brackets. The testing driver is powered on and activated. The testing driver controls the two hose mounting brackets to move away from each other, thereby performing a tensile strength test on the explosion-proof hose clamped between the two brackets. The testing driver also controls the two hose mounting brackets to move back and forth in opposite directions, thereby performing a bending fatigue test on the explosion-proof hose clamped between the two brackets. A device connected to the explosion-proof hose... The invention involves sealing and plugging a hose clamp, connecting another hose clamp connected to the explosion-proof hose to an air inlet pipe equipped with a high-pressure air pump, and injecting gas at a preset pressure into the explosion-proof hose through this hose clamp. This tests whether the explosion-proof hose, after undergoing tensile strength and bending fatigue testing, can withstand the preset pressure. It can perform bending fatigue testing, tensile strength testing, kink resistance testing, and pressure testing on explosion-proof hoses, enabling multiple performance tests on explosion-proof hoses with a single device. This method boasts high testing efficiency and good results, and eliminates the need to disassemble the explosion-proof hose during multiple performance tests, making operation very convenient and efficient. This invention patent has patent application number CN201711039096.2. A method for testing the tensile strength of a metal hose and its connector is disclosed. The outlet of a pressurized water pump is connected to the remaining connector of a tee fitting. The inlet of the pressurized water pump is connected to a water tank via a high-pressure rubber hose. A pressure sensor connected to the pressurized water pump is installed on the high-pressure rubber hose. The pressurized water pump is started and pressurized, injecting pressurized water into the metal hose with connector to be tested. Then, under constant pressure, the pressure is maintained for 10-30 minutes, and the pressure change inside the metal hose with connector is observed. When the pressure inside the metal hose with connector fluctuates within a set range, the sealing performance of the metal hose with connector is deemed to meet the requirements; otherwise, the sealing performance is deemed unqualified, and a pressure test is performed. The sensor monitors the pressure inside the tested metal hose with joint in real time, and tests and judges the sealing performance of the tested metal hose with joint at each stress amplitude level. After the tensile strength test is qualified, the fatigue testing machine is kept at the maximum stress amplitude level, the electric heating wire is heated to the set temperature, and the temperature is kept constant for no less than 30 minutes. The pressure change inside the tested metal hose with joint is observed. If the tested metal hose with joint still meets the sealing performance test, the high temperature resistance is judged to be qualified. It can perform individual and combined tests on the tensile strength, sealing performance and high temperature resistance of metal hoses. It can simulate the performance test under extreme conditions of tensile force and high temperature combined. The operation is simple and the test is safe and reliable.
[0004] According to its publicly available technical solutions, existing hose strength testing equipment has several drawbacks. First, during the sealing and clamping process at both ends of the hose, excessive tension from the inside out or excessive clamping force from the outside can damage the hose, compromising the safety of the hose's sealing and clamping. Second, when simultaneously squeezing and clamping both ends of the hose from the inside and outside, the hose may wrinkle due to the initial external compression, leading to air leakage at both ends and compromising the sealing. Third, after the hose strength test, operator error can cause the sealing and clamping components at both ends to loosen before the high-pressure air inside the hose is completely expelled, resulting in high-pressure air spraying directly from both ends of the hose, endangering personnel and equipment safety. [0017] The technical solution provided in this disclosure may include the following beneficial effects: In use, insert both ends of the hose into the inside of the first airbag in the upper and lower sleeves, respectively, and then fit them onto the outside of the second airbag on the inner rod and inner tube. Rotate the rotating plate so that the bend on the valve connects the bottom of the valve sleeve and the outer port on the left side. Turn on the air pump, which draws air into the pump after filtering it through the filter cartridge. The pump then pumps the compressed air upward through the air tube, and then through the outer port, bend, and outer port into the inside of the horizontal tube. Finally, it passes through the through tube and through hole into the inside of the second airbag, causing the second airbag to inflate and squeeze the hose outward from the inside of the hose. This causes the outer side of the second airbag to clamp and seal against the inner wall of the hose, releasing a portion of the high pressure. Air enters the inner side of the connecting pipe through the sleeve, and then enters the inner side of the first airbag through the connecting hole. The first airbag inflates and squeezes the hose inward from the outside of the hose, thereby clamping and sealing the hose from the outside. This allows the hose to be clamped and sealed outward by the second airbag on the inner rod and inner pipe, while being clamped and sealed inward by the first airbag in the upper and lower sleeves. This ensures that the pressure generated by the second airbag and the second airbag on the inner and outer walls of the hose at both ends can cancel each other out, preventing damage to the hose ends due to excessive outward compression from the second airbag or excessive inward compression from the first airbag, and ensuring that the hose ends can be safely clamped and sealed.
[0018] During use, when the high-pressure air delivered by the air pump enters the inner side of the right end of the sleeve through the horizontal pipe, the outer side of the piston is locked against the inner wall of the inner ring. Only when the piston is subjected to the air pressure at the right end of the sleeve does it move to the left, thus compressing the spring and moving to the left under the limit of the slide rod and the inner ring, until the piston moves to the left side of the inner ring. This allows compressed air to enter the left end of the sleeve through the gap between the inner ring and the piston. The right end of the sleeve is connected to the second airbag in sequence through the horizontal pipe, the through pipe, and the through hole. The left end of the sleeve is connected to the first airbag through the connecting pipe and the connecting hole. This makes the air pressure in the second airbag greater than the air pressure in the first airbag, and the pressure difference equal to the pressure in the first airbag. The pressure consumed when the piston is squeezed causes the second airbag to expand first and press against the inner wall of the hose during the sealing and clamping operation at both ends of the hose. The first airbag then expands and clamps against the outer side of the hose, ensuring that both ends of the hose are always subjected to a certain outward expansion. This effectively opens up both ends of the hose, preventing wrinkles from forming at the ends and thus avoiding poor sealing due to wrinkles. This ensures the sealing effect of the hose during strength testing. The air in the first airbag can easily push the piston to the right side of the inner ring, ensuring that the air in the first airbag can be discharged smoothly and preventing the remaining air in the first airbag from affecting the clamping operation of other hoses.
[0019] During the strength testing of the hose, after sealing and clamping both ends of the hose, the rotary valve is rotated in the opposite direction using a rotating plate. This connects the bend on the valve to the outer port on the bottom of the valve sleeve and the outer port on the right side. The air pump delivers clean air sequentially through the air pipe, outer port, bend, and outer port to the inside of the conduit, and then through the inner pipe to the inside of the hose. This continues until the sensor on the inner rod detects that the pressure inside the hose has reached the required quality level. The air pump is then turned off, and the hose is observed for bulging, leaks, or other issues to determine its quality. When high-pressure air is introduced into the conduit, it enters the left end of the side sleeve through a fine hole. The increased air pressure at the right end of the side sleeve pushes the sliding plate to the left, stretching the spring and causing the stop lever to move to the left. This, in turn, moves the stop lever to the outside of the valve sleeve. The stop lever then acts on the rotating plate... One end forms a blocking limit, preventing the rotating plate from driving the bend on the rotating valve to connect the left side of the valve sleeve with the top outer opening. This prevents the valve sleeve from connecting the horizontal pipe to the drain pipe, thus preventing airbag one and airbag two from becoming loose at both ends of the hose due to human error or other accidents. This effectively prevents the high-pressure air in the hose from being directly ejected, thus effectively ensuring the safety of the hose, equipment, and personnel. Only by rotating the rotating valve can the high-pressure air in the hose pass through the inner pipe, guide pipe, valve sleeve, and rotating valve into the drain pipe in sequence, and then be discharged outward through the drain pipe. The slide plate in the side sleeve is pulled to the right by spring two, and the stop bar loses its limit on the rotating plate. Then, the rotating plate rotates the valve sleeve to connect the horizontal pipe with the drain pipe, expelling the air in airbag one and airbag two, so that the strength test of other hoses can be carried out again.

The rotary valve 15 is mounted on the inner side of the valve sleeve 14. A venting assembly, comprising a bend 30, is mounted on the rotary valve 15 and the valve sleeve 14. The valve sleeve 14 is equipped with a balancing assembly, which includes a side sleeve 32 and a fine hole 33. A blocking assembly, including a sliding plate 34 and a stop bar 35, is installed on the inner side of the side sleeve 32. The support plate 1 is bolted to the top of the base 2. The upper sleeve 7 is welded to the top of one side of the support plate 1, and the lower sleeve 8 is welded to the bottom of one side of the support plate 1. One end of the inner rod 9 is welded to the support plate 1. The sensor 10 is bolted to the inner side of the other end of the inner rod 9, which is located at the center of the lower sleeve 8. The air pump 3 is bolted to the top of the base 2, and the filter cartridge 4 is bolted to the top of the air pump 3. The inner side of the filter cartridge 4 is connected to the air pump 3 in one direction via a one-way valve. The connecting holes 22 are respectively opened on the inner side of the airbag 16, the upper sleeve 7 and the lower sleeve 8. The two ends of the connecting pipe 21 are respectively welded to the bottom of the upper sleeve 7 and the top of the lower sleeve 8. Both ends of the connecting pipe 21 are connected to the inner side of the airbag 16 through the connecting holes 22. The middle part of the connecting pipe 21 is welded to the other end of the sleeve 23. The middle part of the connecting pipe 21 is connected to the other end of the sleeve 23. The through holes 18 are respectively opened on the inner side of the inner tube 11, the inner rod 9, the second airbag 17 and the support plate 1. One end of the through pipe 19 is installed on the support plate 1 by bolts. The other end of the through pipe 19 is welded to the horizontal tube 20. One end of the through pipe 19 is connected to the inner side of the second airbag 17 through the through holes 18. The other end of the through pipe 19 is connected to the horizontal tube 20.
[0024] Understandably, during use, both ends of the hose are inserted into the inner sides of the first airbag 16 inside the upper sleeve 7 and the lower sleeve 8, respectively, and respectively fitted onto the outer sides of the second airbag 17 on the inner rod 9 and the inner tube 11. Rotating the rotating plate 29 causes the bend 30 on the rotating valve 15 to rotate, connecting the bottom of the valve sleeve 14 with the outer port 31 on the left side. The air pump 3 is then turned on, drawing air through the filter cartridge 4 and into its inner side. The compressed air is then transported upwards through the air pipe 13, and then sequentially through the outer port 31, bend 30, and outer port 31 into the inner side of the horizontal tube 20. It then enters the inner side of the second airbag 17 through the through pipe 19 and through hole 18, causing the second airbag 17 to inflate and squeeze the hose outwards from the inside of the hose, thereby clamping and sealing the outer side of the second airbag 17 within the hose. On the inner wall of the tube, a portion of the high-pressure air enters the inner side of the connecting tube 21 through the sleeve 23, and then enters the inner side of the airbag 16 through the connecting hole 22. The airbag 16 inflates and squeezes the hose inward from the outside of the hose, thereby clamping and sealing the hose on the outer side of the hose. This allows the hose to be clamped and sealed outward by the airbag 2 17 on the inner rod 9 and the inner tube 11, while being clamped and sealed inward by the airbag 16 in the upper sleeve 7 and the lower sleeve 8. This allows the pressure generated by the airbag 2 17 and the airbag 16 on the inner and outer walls of the hose ends to cancel each other out, preventing damage to the hose ends due to excessive outward pressure from the airbag 2 17 or excessive inward pressure from the airbag 16, and ensuring that the hose ends can be safely clamped and sealed.
[0025] like Figure 1 , Figure 2 , Figure 3 and Figure 11As shown, the air pipe 13 is bolted to the top of the air pump 3. The air pump 3 is connected to the air pipe 13 in one direction via a one-way valve. The valve sleeve 14 is bolted to the top of the air pipe 13. The outer side of the rotary valve 15 is secured to the inner wall of the valve sleeve 14 by a sealing ring. One end of the valve sleeve 14 has a round opening. The rotating plate 29 is secured to the outer side of one end of the valve sleeve 14. One end of the rotating plate 29 passes through the round opening and is keyed to the center of the rotary valve 15. One end of the inner pipe 11 is welded to the support plate 1. The inner pipe 11 is located at the center of the upper sleeve 7. One end of the conduit 12 is welded to the other side of the support plate 1. The support plate 1 has an inner opening. The conduit 12 is connected to the inner pipe 11 through the inner opening. The other end of the conduit 12 is bolted to the other side of the valve sleeve 14. The bend 30 is opened inside the rotary valve 15. The outer opening 31 is opened around the valve sleeve 14. Two adjacent outer openings are connected to each other. The ports 31 are interconnected via bends 30. The other end of the conduit 12 is connected to the outer port 31. One end of the side sleeve 32 is welded to the outer side of one end of the valve sleeve 14. The other end of the side sleeve 32 is connected to the conduit 12 via a fine hole 33. The outer side of the slide plate 34 is secured to the inner wall of the side sleeve 32 by a sealing ring. One end of the side sleeve 32 has a stop. One end of the stop rod 35 is welded to one side of the slide plate 34. The other end of the stop rod 35 passes through the stop and extends to the outer side of one end of the valve sleeve 14. The other side of the slide plate 34 is connected to the inner wall of the other end of the side sleeve 32 via a spring 36. The fine hole 33 is located on the other side of the slide plate 34. The distance between one end of the rotating plate 29 and the center of the rotating valve 15 is greater than the distance between the stop rod 35 and the center of the rotating valve 15. The distance between the stop rod 35 and the center of the rotating valve 15 is greater than the distance between the other end of the rotating plate 29 and the center of the rotating valve 15.
[0026] Understandably, when the high-pressure air delivered by the air pump 3 enters the inner side of the right end of the sleeve 23 through the horizontal pipe 20, the outer side of the piston 25 is locked against the inner wall of the inner ring 24. Only when the piston 25 is subjected to the air pressure at the right end of the sleeve 23 will it move to the left, thereby compressing the spring 27 and moving to the left under the limit of the slide rod 26 and the inner ring 24, until the piston 25 moves to the left side of the inner ring 24. This allows the compressed air to enter the left end of the sleeve 23 through the gap between the inner ring 24 and the piston 25. The right end of the sleeve 23 is connected to the airbag 17 in sequence through the horizontal pipe 20, the through pipe 19, the through hole 18, and the airbag 17. The left end of the sleeve 23 is connected to the airbag 16 through the connecting pipe 21 and the connecting hole 22, thereby increasing the air pressure in the airbag 17. The air pressure is greater than that of airbag 16, and the pressure difference is equal to the pressure consumed when piston 25 is squeezed. Therefore, when sealing and clamping the two ends of the hose, airbag 27 expands first and squeezes against the inner wall of the hose. Airbag 16 then expands and clamps against the outer side of the hose, ensuring that the two ends of the hose are always subjected to a certain outward expansion. This effectively opens the two ends of the hose, preventing wrinkles from forming at the ends of the hose. This also prevents the hose from not sealing properly due to wrinkles, ensuring the sealing effect of the hose entering the strength test. The air in airbag 16 can easily push piston 25 to the right side of inner ring 24, ensuring that the air in airbag 16 can be discharged smoothly, preventing the remaining air in airbag 16 from affecting the clamping of other hoses.
[0027] like Figure 6 , Figure 7 , Figure 8 , Figure 9 and Figure 10As shown, there are two airbags, one 16 and two airbags 17. The two airbags 16 are respectively bonded to the inner sides of the upper sleeve 7 and the lower sleeve 8. The two airbags 17 are respectively fitted onto the outer sides of the inner tube 11 and the inner rod 9. The airbags 16 are fitted onto the outer sides of the airbags 17. One end of the horizontal tube 20 is bolted to one side of the valve sleeve 14. One end of the horizontal tube 20 is connected to the outer opening 31. The other end of the horizontal tube 20 passes through the support plate 1 and extends to one side of the support plate 1. One end of the sleeve 23 is welded to the other end of the horizontal tube 20, and one end of the sleeve 23 is connected to the other end of the horizontal tube 20. The inner ring 24 is integrally formed on the inner side of the sleeve 23. The outer side of one end of the piston 25 is clamped on the inner wall of one side of the inner ring 24. One end of the spring 27 is welded to one end of the piston 25. The other end of the spring 27 passes through the other side of the inner ring 24 and is welded to the inner wall of the other end of the sleeve 23. A sliding rod 26 is welded on the inner wall of the sleeve 23. The piston 25 is sleeved on the outer side of the sliding rod 26. The top of the base 2 is bolted to a display 5. A controller 6 is bolted to the display 5. The controller 6 is connected to the display 5, the air pump 3, and the sensor 10 via wires.
[0028] Understandably, during the strength testing of the hose, after sealing and clamping both ends of the hose, the rotary valve 15 is rotated in the reverse direction via the rotary plate 29. This causes the bend 30 on the rotary valve 15 to connect the outer port 31 at the bottom of the valve sleeve 14 with the outer port 31 on the right side. The air pump 3 then delivers clean air sequentially through the air pipe 13, the outer port 31, the bend 30, and the outer port 31 to the inside of the conduit 12, and then through the inner pipe 11 to the inside of the hose, until it is detected by the sensor 10 on the inner rod 9. After the pressure inside the hose reaches the required quality level, the air pump 3 is turned off. The hose is then observed for bulging, leaks, or other issues to check its quality. When high-pressure air is introduced into the conduit 12, it enters the left end of the side sleeve 32 through the fine hole 33. The increased air pressure at the right end of the side sleeve 32 pushes the sliding plate 34 to the left. The sliding plate 34 stretches the second spring 36 and moves the stop lever 35 to the left, causing the stop lever 35 to move to the outside of the valve sleeve 14. The stop lever 35 blocks and limits one end of the rotating plate 29, preventing the rotating plate 29 from connecting the bend 30 on the rotating valve 15 to the left side of the valve sleeve 14 with the top outer opening 31. This prevents the valve sleeve 14 from connecting the horizontal pipe 20 to the drain pipe 28, thus preventing the airbags 16 and 17 from becoming loose at both ends of the hose due to operator error or other accidents. This effectively prevents the high-pressure air inside the hose from being directly ejected, thus ensuring the safety of the hose, equipment, and personnel. By rotating the rotary valve 15, the high-pressure air in the hose is sequentially passed through the inner tube 11, the conduit 12, the valve sleeve 14, and the rotary valve 15 into the drain pipe 28. After being discharged outward through the drain pipe 28, the slide plate 34 in the side sleeve 32 is pulled to the right by the second spring 36, and the stop rod 35 loses its limit on the rotating plate 29. Then, the valve sleeve 14 is rotated through the rotating plate 29 to connect the horizontal tube 20 with the drain pipe 28, and the air in the first airbag 16 and the second airbag 17 is discharged so that the strength test of other hoses can be carried out again.
