Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a skin cleansing composition. [Background technology]
[0002] In recent years, as the spread of infection caused by the so-called new coronavirus has become more serious, regular use of masks is recommended as a measure to prevent infection. Wearing a mask can cause acne and rough skin due to moisture and stuffiness inside the mask, as well as friction between the mask and the skin, and many people suffer from skin problems.
[0003] In addition, concerns about pores, such as blackheads and open pores, are a permanent concern, especially among young people. Pores become noticeable when pores are clogged with keratin plugs, so neglecting pore care will lead to the proliferation of acne bacteria, which will cause acne. Although removing keratin plugs is a desirable cosmetic procedure, the method of removing keratin plugs using sheets or packs is complicated, as they are sticky and put a strain on the skin, and they need to be left to dry before being peeled off, so a simple method of removing keratin plugs was desired.
[0004] Skin cleansers containing bactericides have the effect of preventing acne, and various types are commercially available. Patent Document 1 proposes a skin cleansing composition containing bactericidal components consisting of triclosan, isopropylmethylphenol, and parachlorometaxylenol, but it is not satisfactory in terms of foam.
[0005] Furthermore, a cleansing composition that is filled into a foam container for use is discharged in a foam form by squeezing it out of the container, and therefore has excellent convenience in use, and from the viewpoint of reducing the burden on the skin caused by washing the skin with the foamed cleansing agent, various proposals have been made so far. Patent Document 2 proposes a skin cleansing composition that is discharged from a foam container into fine foam, but it does not have a bactericidal effect or a keratin plug removing effect. [0011] The skin cleansing composition of the present invention will be described in detail below.
[0012] [Skin cleansing composition] The skin cleansing composition of the present invention contains at least (A) isopropylmethylphenol, (B) an N-acyltaurine type anionic surfactant represented by the following general formula (1), and (C) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether type nonionic surfactant. R1CO-NR2-CH2CH2SO3M (1) (In general formula (1), R1 represents a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 7 to 19 carbon atoms, R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and M represents an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal atom, ammonium, an organic ammonium, or a basic amino acid.)

[0014] The formulation of the skin cleansing composition can be arbitrarily selected from known formulations depending on the application, purpose of use, etc. For example, it can be in the form of a liquid, cream, etc.
[0015] In this specification, "dischargeability at low temperatures" refers to the ability to prevent pump clogging even at low temperatures and to easily discharge the composition from the foamer container, and "low-temperature stability" refers to the ability to maintain a transparent appearance and to be free of precipitates even after long-term storage (about one month) at low temperatures (about 5°C).
[0016] <Component (A)> The component (A) used in the skin cleansing composition of the present invention is isopropyl methylphenol. By adding the component (A), it is possible to impart a bactericidal effect.
[0017] In the cleaning composition of the present invention, the blending amount of the (A) component is preferably 0.05% by mass or more and 1.0% by mass or less. If the blending amount of the (A) component is 0.05% by mass or more, a sufficient bactericidal effect can be obtained. Also, if the blending amount of the (A) component is 1.0% by mass or less, the raw material odor of isopropyl methylphenol itself is suppressed, and the preference during use is increased.
[0018] <(B) component> The component (B) used in the skin cleansing composition of the present invention is an N-acyltaurine type anionic surfactant represented by the following general formula (1).

When the blending amount of the (B) component is 1% by mass or more, sufficient foam durability can be obtained. On the other hand, when the blending amount of the (B) component is 6% by mass or less, sufficient low-temperature stability and dischargeability at low temperatures can be obtained.

[0027] In the skin cleansing composition of the present invention, the blending amount of the (D) component is preferably 0.5% by mass or more and 6% by mass or less. If the blending amount of the (D) component is 0.5% by mass or more, sufficient foam persistence can be obtained. On the other hand, if the blending amount of the (D) component is 6% by mass or less, good dischargeability at low temperatures can be obtained.

[0042] <Foam Duration> At room temperature, 10 panelists each dispensed the contents from the pump foamer-type container, took it in their hands, and performed a sensory evaluation of the persistence of the dispensed foam (foam retention) according to the following evaluation criteria. The average value of the sensory evaluation was recorded as a score.
[0043] (Evaluation Criteria) 5 points: The foam lasts very well 4 points: The foam lasts well 3 points: Neither 2 points: The foam does not last long. 1 point: The foam does not last very long

[0047] (Evaluation Criteria) ◎: The pump does not clog and the set amount of foam can be easily dispensed. ○: Due to partial clogging, it takes force to discharge the foam, but the set amount of foam can be discharged. △: Due to partial clogging, a strong force is required to discharge the foam, and the amount of foam discharged is less than the set amount. ×: The pump is clogged and foam is not discharged.
[0048] <Effect of removing keratin plugs> Five healthy panelists took about 1 g of the skin cleansing composition described in the Examples and Comparative Examples, applied it only to the nose while looking in the mirror, massaged for 30 seconds, and then rinsed with water for 1 minute. The number of keratin plugs present on the nostrils was counted before and after washing, and the keratin plug removal rate was calculated and evaluated using the following formula (Formula 1). Keratin plug removal rate = 100-(1cm above the nostril after use) 2 Number of keratin plugs present) / (1cm above the nostril before use 2 (Number of keratin plugs present) x 100 (Formula 1)
