[0022]According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a footwear cushion 2 as shown in FIG. 1. The cushion 2 includes a base 4 for locating over an insole of footwear and a protrusion 6 protruding from the base 4. The protrusion 6 supports a transverse metatarsal arch of a foot 12 as shown in FIG. 2. The footwear cushion 2 is described in detail below.
