[0002] It is known that filters for tobacco or cannabis are usually constructed from several layers or materials. The outer layer is typically made of paper or other porous materials that serve to channel and direct the smoke. Inside the filter, further materials such as activated carbon or cellulose are often arranged to remove harmful chemicals and particles from the smoke.
[0003] Activated carbon filters are typically embedded as a layer within the filter. This activated carbon layer consists of fine-grained carbon with a porous structure, providing a large surface area, which is usually encapsulated with ceramic caps. This structure allows the activated carbon to adsorb a wide variety of pollutants in the smoke, including heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, and other harmful substances. Cellulose filters are often used in conjunction with activated carbon or as a separate layer within the filter. These filters consist of fine fibers that allow for effective smoke filtration.
