AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The manual grouping of photovoltaic units in photovoltaic systems is inefficient and prone to errors, which affects the overall efficiency and accuracy of the system's operation and maintenance.

Method used

A photovoltaic system that automatically groups photovoltaic units based on the attenuation degree of power carrier signals transmitted between controllers, using an inverter to determine attenuation reference factors and group units with signal attenuation less than a threshold, allowing for dynamic threshold determination based on actual deployment status.

Benefits of technology

This approach enhances the efficiency and accuracy of photovoltaic unit grouping, improving the operation and maintenance efficiency of the photovoltaic system by reducing errors and optimizing the grouping process.

Abstract

The present application discloses a photovoltaic system and a method for grouping photovoltaic units, pertaining to the technical field of photovoltaics. The photovoltaic system comprises: an inverter (01) and multiple photovoltaic units (02) connected to the inverter (01). Each of the photovoltaic units (02) comprises: a controller (021) and one or more photovoltaic components (022) connected to the controller (021). The controller (021) in each of the photovoltaic units (02) is further used to acquire a power carrier signal sent by a controller (021) in the other photovoltaic units (02) of the photovoltaic units (02), determine, according to the acquired power carrier signal, an attenuation reference factor of the power carrier signal, and send the attenuation reference factor to the inverter (01). The inverter (01) is further used to determine, according to the attenuation reference factor, an attenuation level of the power carrier signal acquired by the controller (021) of each of the photovoltaic units (02), and group the multiple photovoltaic units (02) according to the attenuation level of the power carrier signal acquired by each of the photovoltaic units (02). The present application enables automatic grouping of photovoltaic units.
