A proton exchange membrane, a method for preparing the same, and a membrane electrode for hydrogen production by electrolysis of water

Abstract

The application discloses a kind of proton exchange membrane, its preparation method and the membrane electrode for electrolyzing water hydrogen production.The preparation method of the proton exchange membrane includes the following steps: (1) preparation polyaromatic ether base polymer;(2) preparation sulfonated polyaromatic ether base polymer;(3) sulfonated polyaromatic ether base polymer is ground into powder, and is made into homogeneous solution, then homogeneous solution is poured on clean glass plate, vacuum drying and further acidification treatment obtain proton exchange membrane.The application provides a kind of membrane electrode for electrolyzing water hydrogen production, including the above-mentioned proton exchange membrane, cathode catalyst layer and anode catalyst layer located at the two sides of proton exchange membrane respectively, and cathode diffusion layer and anode diffusion layer respectively located at the outside of cathode catalyst and anode catalyst layer, the binder in the cathode catalyst layer and anode catalyst layer is the ethanol solution of the above-mentioned sulfonated polyaromatic ether base polymer.The membrane electrode of the application has excellent performance in electrolyzing water hydrogen production.
