Abstract

This invention provides a method for synthesizing Silicalite-1 molecular sieves using n-butylamine as a template agent, relating to the field of molecular sieve technology. The invention involves mixing n-butylamine, water, a silicon source, Silicalite-1 molecular sieve seed crystals, and sodium hydroxide to obtain an initial gel mixture. The silicon source includes one or more of silica, silica sol, silica gel powder, and tetraethyl orthosilicate. The initial gel mixture is then subjected to hydrothermal crystallization to obtain Silicalite-1 molecular sieves. This invention uses n-butylamine as a template agent and employs a seed-assisted synthesis method for Silicalite-1 molecular sieves, which significantly reduces the amount of n-butylamine used and the synthesis time. Compared with existing technologies, the synthesis method provided by this invention features inexpensive raw materials, low organic template agent usage, high product crystallinity, short synthesis time, and high yield, overcoming the disadvantages of existing synthesis methods that require expensive and large amounts of template agents.
