Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to a casing component and an electronic device. Background Art
[0002] Electronic devices such as servers are usually equipped with electronic modules, such as hard disk modules. The hard disk rack of the hard disk module is pivotally arranged on the casing. After the hard disk rack is pivoted relative to the casing, its hard disk assembly port can be transformed from being hidden in the casing to being exposed outside the casing, so that personnel can take out or put in the hard disk from the hard disk rack through the hard disk assembly port.
[0003] Currently, the hard disk rack is connected to the operating handle through a connecting rod mechanism, and the pivoting movement of the hard disk rack is driven by the operating handle and the connecting rod mechanism. After the hard disk rack is pivoted relative to the casing, the personnel must keep holding the operating handle in order to maintain the hard disk rack in a position where the hard disk assembly port is exposed outside the casing. However, the operating handle is exposed to the server because it needs to be held by the personnel, which affects the aesthetic appearance of the overall server. In addition, the structure of the connecting rod mechanism connecting the operating handle and the hard disk module is too complicated. Therefore, researchers in this field are currently working hard to solve the aforementioned problems.
[0004] Therefore, it is necessary to provide a casing assembly and an electronic device to solve the above problems. Summary of the invention
[0005] The present invention provides a casing assembly and an electronic device, which can maintain a hard disk rack at a position where a hard disk assembly port is exposed outside the casing without an operating handle, and also take into account the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device.
[0006] A housing assembly is disclosed in one embodiment of the present invention. The housing assembly includes a housing, a carrier, a support, a buckle, and an operating assembly. The carrier is movably disposed in the housing. One end of the support is pivotally disposed on the housing, and the other end of the support is slidably disposed on the carrier. The buckle is pivotally disposed on the carrier and is suitable for buckling the support to position the carrier. The operating assembly is movably disposed on the carrier and connected to the buckle, and the operating assembly can move relative to the carrier to drive the buckle to unlock the support.
[0007] Another embodiment of the present invention discloses an electronic device, comprising a housing assembly. The housing assembly comprises a housing, a carrier, a support, a buckle, and an operating assembly. The carrier is movably disposed in the housing. One end of the support is pivotally disposed on the housing, and the other end of the support is slidably disposed on the carrier. The buckle is pivotally disposed on the carrier, and the buckle is suitable for buckling with the support to position the carrier. The operating assembly is movably disposed on the carrier and connected to the buckle, and the operating assembly can move relative to the carrier to drive the buckle to unlock the support.
[0008] According to the case assembly and the electronic device disclosed in the above-mentioned embodiments, one end of the support member is pivotally mounted on the case, the other end of the support member can be slidably mounted on the support frame, the buckle member is pivotally mounted on the support frame and is suitable for buckling the support member to position the support frame, and the operating assembly can be movably mounted on the support frame and can be unlocked from the support member with the buckle member. This can achieve the effect of locking or unlocking the support frame in the disassembly position without the design of any operating handle, while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device.

[0080] See also Figures 1 to 3 . Figure 1 FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of an electronic device disclosed according to a first embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 for Figure 1 Exploded view of the chassis components. Figure 3 for Figure 1 A partially exploded schematic diagram of the housing assembly.
[0081] In this embodiment, the electronic device 1 is, for example, a server. The electronic device 1 comprises a housing assembly 10 and a plurality of electronic components 30. The housing assembly 10 comprises a housing 11, a carrier 12, a support member 13, a buckle member 14 and an operating member 15.
[0082] Each side wall (not numbered) of the housing 11 surrounds a receiving space 111. The support frame 12 is disposed in the receiving space 111 of the housing 11 and is pivotally mounted on the housing 11, and can be in a retracted position (such as Figure 1 as shown) and a disassembly position (please refer to Fig. 9) are pivoted between the two sides. In detail, the carrier 12 includes a frame body 121 and a side cover 122. The frame body 121 is pivoted to the housing 11, for example, by a spring plunger (plunger, not shown), and the carrier 12 pivots with the spring plunger as the pivot axis P. The frame body 121 is provided with a loading and unloading space 1211 and a take-in and put-out port 1212 that are connected to each other. The loading and unloading space 1211 is surrounded by the side panels (unnumbered) of the frame body 121, and accommodates the electronic component 30. The electronic component 30 can be taken out from the loading and unloading space 1211 through the take-in and put-out port 1212, or put into the loading and unloading space 1211 through the take-in and put-out port 1212. The side cover 122 is fixed to one of the side panels (unnumbered) of the frame body 121. The electronic component 30 is, for example, a hard disk, but the present embodiment is not limited to this.
[0083] Next, see Figures 2 to 4 . Figure 4 for Figure 1 A partial side view schematic diagram of an electronic device 1 is shown.
[0084] The support member 13 is, for example, a connecting rod. One end of the support member 13 is pivoted to the housing 11, and the other end of the support member 13 is slidably disposed on the side cover 122. In detail, the side cover 122 is provided with a guide slot 1221. The guide slot 1221 has a first end 1222 and a second end 1223 opposite to each other, and the first end 1222 is closer to the pivot axis P of the support frame 12 than the second end 1223. In addition, the support member 13 includes a rod 131, a roller 132 and a positioning member 133. One end of the rod 131 is pivoted to the housing 11. The roller 132 is rotatably disposed at the other end of the rod 131 through the positioning member 133. The positioning member 133 is, for example, a pivot and is fixed to the rod 131 in a screwing manner, so that the roller 132 is positioned on the rod 131 and can rotate relative to the rod 131. Part of the roller 132 is movably located in the guide slot 1221 of the side cover 122, and the roller 132 can move between the first end 1222 and the second end 1223 of the guide slot 1221. The roller 132 can allow the rod 131 to slide more smoothly relative to the carrier 12 during the process of the carrier 12 pivoting relative to the housing 11.
[0085] It should be noted that the guide slot 1221 of the side cover 122 is an optional structure, and the roller 132 and the positioning member 133 of the support member 13 are optional components. In other embodiments, the side cover may have a guide slot in a non-slot form, and the support member may have a slider instead of a roller and a positioning member. The combination of the guide slot of the side cover and the slider of the support member can also help the rod body slide more smoothly relative to the support frame.
[0086] In this embodiment, the housing assembly 10 may further include a torsion spring 16. Two opposite ends of the torsion spring 16 are respectively fixed to the housing 11 and the support member 13. The torsion spring 16 is used to exert a force on the support member 13 to pivot relative to the housing 11, so that the support member 13 drives the support frame 12 to move from the folded position to the disassembly position.
[0087] The buckle 14 is pivotally mounted on the side cover 122 of the carrier 12. The buckle 14, for example, has a first end 141, a second end 142, and a hook structure 143. The first end 141 and the second end 142 of the buckle 14 are respectively located at two opposite sides of the pivot axis P1 of the buckle 14. The hook structure 143 is located at the first end 141 of the buckle 14. When the roller 132 of the support member 13 is located at the second end 1223 of the guide slot 1221, the hook structure 143 is hooked to the roller 132 of the support member 13 to fix the carrier 12 at the disassembly position. The hook structure 143 has a guide slope 1431. When the roller 132 moves from the first end 1222 to the second end 1223 of the guide slot 1221, the guide slope 1431 is pushed by the roller 132, and the carrier 12 moves from the folded position to the disassembly position.
[0088] In this embodiment, the housing assembly 10 may further include a first elastic member 17. The first elastic member 17 is, for example, a tension spring. The two opposite ends of the first elastic member 17 are respectively fixed to the side cover 122 of the support frame 12 and the second end 142 of the buckle member 14. The first elastic member 17 applies a force to the buckle member 14, so that the hook structure 143 is located in the moving path of the support member 13 (the path of the support member 13 moving from the first end 1222 of the guide through slot 1221 to the second end 1223 or the path of the second end 1223 to the first end 1222), and also when the roller 132 of the support member 13 is located at the second end 1223 of the guide through slot 1221, the hook structure 143 can continuously engage with the roller 132 that is kept buckled to the support member 13.
[0089] The operating assembly 15 includes a latch 151 and a linkage 152. The latch 151 and the linkage 152 are slidably disposed on the side cover 122, and the slidable direction D1 of the latch 151 is, for example, angularly related to the slidable direction D2 of the linkage 152. For example, the latch 151 may be provided with two first elongated through holes 1511, and the linkage 152 may be provided with two second elongated through holes 1521, and the housing assembly 10 may further include two first coupling members 18 and two second coupling members 19. The two first coupling members 18 are, for example, screws, and the two first coupling members 18 pass through the two first elongated through holes 1511 respectively and are locked to the side cover 122, so that the latch 151 can slide relative to the carrier 12 along the direction D1. The two second connecting members 19 are, for example, screws. The two second connecting members 19 pass through the two second elongated through holes 1521 respectively and are locked to the side cover 122 , so that the latch 151 can slide relative to the supporting frame 12 along a direction D2 perpendicular to the direction D1 .
[0090] It should be noted that the slidable direction D1 of the latch 151 is not limited to being perpendicular to the slidable direction D2 of the link 152. In other embodiments, the slidable direction of the latch may be at a non-perpendicular angle to the slidable direction of the link.
[0091] In this embodiment, the latch 151 may further include an oblique guide groove 1512, and the linkage 152 may further include an abutting protrusion 1522 and a pushing protrusion 1523. The abutting protrusion 1522 is located in the oblique guide groove 1512, and the pushing protrusion 1523 abuts against a groove 1421 of the second end 142 of the latch 14.
[0092] In this embodiment, the operating assembly 15 may further include a sliding button 153, and the frame body 121 of the carrier 12 may further be provided with a through hole 1213, and the sliding button 153 passes through the through hole 1213 and is fixed to the latch 151. The latch 151 may be driven to move by sliding the sliding button 153. It should be noted that the sliding button 153 is an optional element. In other embodiments, the operating assembly may not have a sliding button, but may be a protruding structure formed integrally with the latch and protruding from the through hole 1213 of the frame body 121 for user operation.
[0093] In addition, the housing 11 may be provided with a positioning structure 112, and the latch 151 may be provided with a slot 1513. The positioning structure 112 is, for example, a convex column and is located in the accommodating space 111 of the housing 11, and the slot 1513 of the latch 151 is locked with the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11 to keep the carrier 12 in the folded position. In addition, the latch 151 may be provided with a top-receiving inclined surface 1514, which is disposed adjacent to the slot 1513 and is further away from the slide button 153 than the slot 1513. The top-receiving inclined surface 1514 is pushed by the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11, thereby driving the latch 151 to move in a direction away from the positioning structure 112.
[0094] In this embodiment, the housing assembly 10 may further include a second elastic member 20. The second elastic member 20 is, for example, a tension spring, and opposite ends of the second elastic member 20 are respectively fixed to the side cover 122 of the carrier 12 and the latch 151. The second elastic member 20 exerts a force on the latch 151 to keep the latch slot 1513 of the latch 151 at a position where it is locked with the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11.
[0095] like Figure 4 As shown, when the carrier 12 is in the folded position, the roller 132 of the support member 13 is located at the first end 1222 of the guide slot 1221, the guide slope 1431 of the hook structure 143 of the latch member 14 is located between the first end 1222 and the second end 1223 of the guide slot 1221, and is closer to the second end 1223 of the guide slot 1221. The latching groove 1513 of the latch member 151 is kept fixed to the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11 under the action of the second elastic member 20, so that the carrier 12 is positioned in the folded position and cannot pivot relative to the housing 11. At this time, the access opening 1212 of the frame body 121 of the carrier 12 is located in the accommodating space 111 of the housing 11, so that the user cannot take the electronic component 30 (such as Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , the electronic component 30 is taken out from the carrier 12 or placed into the carrier 12 .
[0096] Next, see Figure 5 and Figure 6 . Figure 5 for Figure 4 A partial side view of the slide button after being operated. Figure 6 for Figure 5 A partial side view of a torsion spring forcing the carrier to rise.
[0097] When the electronic component 30 (such as Figure 2When taking out or putting the electronic component 30 into the carrier 12, the slide button 153 is first slid along the direction A to drive the latching slot 1513 of the latching member 151 to release the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11. At this time, the carrier 12 and the housing 11 are no longer fixed to each other, so the torsion spring 16 drives the support member 13 to pivot along the direction B, so that the roller 132 of the support member 13 moves a distance from the first end 1222 of the guide slot 1221 to the second end 1223 along the direction C, and drives the carrier 12 to pivot relative to the housing 11 along the direction D by an angle. At this time, the carrier 12 pivots about the pivot axis P, so that the carrier 12 is slightly lifted relative to the housing 11. In this way, it is convenient for the user to apply force to the carrier 12 to continue to open the carrier 12 along the direction D, so that the access opening 1212 of the carrier 12 is completely separated from the accommodating space 111 of the housing 11. It should be noted that the torsion spring 16 is an optional component. In other embodiments, the housing assembly may be replaced with a compression spring, with the two opposite ends of the compression spring respectively abutting against the bottom of the housing and the bottom of the support frame. In this way, after the latch slot is released from the positioning structure of the housing, the compression spring can automatically lift the support frame slightly relative to the housing. In another embodiment, the housing assembly may not have a torsion spring or a compression spring, and after the latch slot is released from the positioning structure of the housing, the support frame can be manually lifted relative to the housing.
[0098] Next, see Figures 7 to 9 . Figure 7 for Figure 6 A partial side view schematic diagram of the support frame pivoting relative to the casing. Figure 8 for Figure 7 A partial side view schematic diagram of a snap member snapping onto a support member. Fig. 9 for Figure 1 A three-dimensional schematic diagram of the carrier frame in the disassembly and assembly position.
[0099] The user drives the whole support frame 12 to pivot along the direction D by hand, and at this time, the roller 132 of the support member 13 pushes against the guide inclined surface 1431 of the hook structure 143 of the buckle member 14, so that the buckle member 14 pivots along the direction E and leaves the moving path of the roller 132 from the first end 1222 to the second end 1223 of the guide through slot 1221, and the buckle member 14 stretches the first elastic member 17. After the roller 132 of the support member 13 passes through the hook structure 143 of the buckle member 14, the first elastic member 17 drives the hook structure 143 to reset, so that the hook structure 143 of the buckle member 14 is buckled on the roller 132 of the support member 13. In this way, the buckle member 14 will position the support frame 12 at the disassembly position. At this time, the access opening 1212 of the carrier 12 is exposed outside the accommodating space 111 of the housing 11 , and the user can take out the electronic component 30 from the carrier 12 or put the electronic component 30 into the carrier 12 through the access opening 1212 of the frame body 121 of the carrier 12 .
[0100] Next, see Fig.10 , Fig.10 for Figure 8 A partial side view of the buckle 14 being unfastened from the support member 13.
[0101] When the support frame 12 is to be pivoted from the disassembly position to the closing position (such as Figure 4 14 and the roller 132 of the support member 13). Specifically, the user can slide the slider 153 in direction A to drive the latch 151, so that the latch 151 slides relative to the support frame 12 in direction A, and the linkage 152 is driven to move in direction F through the oblique guide groove 1512 and the abutting protrusion 1522, so that the abutting protrusion 1523 of the linkage 152 pushes against the groove 1421 of the latch 14, thereby driving the hook structure 143 of the latch 14 to be unlocked from the roller 132 of the support member 13 in direction E. In this way, the carrier 12 can be released from the disassembly position, and the user can press the carrier 12 down along the direction G to pivot the carrier 12 from the disassembly position to the closed position. During this process, the latch 151 of the carrier 12 contacts the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11, and the top inclined surface 1514 of the latch 151 is pushed by the positioning structure 112 to drive the latch 151 to slide along the direction A. At this time, the second elastic member 20 is stretched. When the user continues to press the carrier 12 down along the direction G, the top inclined surface 1514 of the latch 151 passes through the positioning structure 112, and the second elastic member 20 is reset, so that the locking groove 1513 of the latch 151 is locked with the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11, and the carrier 12 is positioned in the closed position.
[0102] In this embodiment, one end of the support member 13 is pivoted to the housing 11, the other end of the support member 13 is slidably disposed on the support frame 12, the buckle 14 is pivoted to the support frame 12 and buckled to the support member 13 when the support frame 12 is in the disassembly position, and the operating component 15 is movably disposed on the support frame 12 and can be unlocked from the support member 13 with the buckle 14. This can achieve the effect of locking or unlocking the support frame 12 at the disassembly position without the design of any operating handle, while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device 1.
[0103] In this embodiment, the push-pull block 1523 of the linkage member 152 abuts against the groove 1421 of the second end 142 of the buckle member 14, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the push-pull block of the linkage member may abut against the first end of the buckle member, and the inclined guide groove of the latch member may be tilted in another direction, so that the movable latch member can drive the linkage member to move upward through the inclined guide groove and the abutted block, so that the hook structure of the buckle member is unlocked from the roller of the support member.
[0104] In this embodiment, one end of the support member 13, the buckle member 14, one end of the first elastic member 17, the latch member 151, the linkage member 152 and one end of the second elastic member 20 are all disposed on the side cover 122, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the carrier may not have a side cover, and the aforementioned components may be disposed on the frame of the carrier.
[0105] In this embodiment, the latch 151 is directly released from the positioning structure 112 of the housing 11 by sliding the latch 151 with the sliding button 153, and the latch 151 is driven by the linkage 152 to release the buckle 14 from the support 13, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0106] See also Fig.11 and Fig.12 , Fig.11 It is a partial side view schematic diagram of an electronic device disclosed according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Fig.12 for Fig.11 A partial side view of a button after being operated.
[0107] The electronic device 1a of this embodiment is similar to Figures 1 to 10 The difference between the electronic device 1 and the above-mentioned electronic device 1 mainly lies in the linkage method between the latch and the linkage member. Therefore, the main difference between the two is mainly described below. As for other parts, please refer to the relevant description of the above-mentioned electronic device 1 and will not be repeated here.
