The second operating part 86 is / is coupled to a pawl 84C which is / is formed at the end of the first operating part 84 and controls the movement thereof in the direction of the rotational axis.As shown in FIG. 6, a recess 86B is / is formed at the inner periphery of the second operation part 86. A protrusion 84B formed on the outer periphery of the first operation part 84 is / is fitted to the recess 86B. The recess 86B is larger than the protrusion 84B in the circumferential direction of the operation unit 82, for which reason the second operation part 86 is capable of slightly rotating with respect to the first operation part 84. A sleeve or a bearing may be / are provided between the outer peripheral surface of the first operating part 84 and the inner peripheral surface of the second operating part 86 to smooth the relative movement. The first operating part 84 does not move even when the second operating part 86 moves in a free range of the range in which the second operating part 86 is capable of moving, which is the range from a second initial position of the second operating part 86 toward a second predetermined position. The second initial position is, for example, a relative rotational position shown in FIG. 6, and is a rotational position in which the center of the protrusion 84B coincides with the center of the recess 86B in the circumferential direction. The second predetermined position is, for example, a relative rotational position as shown in FIG. 7, and is a rotational position in which the protrusion 84B cannot move any further with respect to the recess 86B in the circumferential direction. Meanwhile, the operation unit 82 rotates in both directions of the circumferential direction. For this reason, the second predetermined position includes the relative rotational position as shown in FIG. 7 and a relative rotational position bilaterally symmetrical to FIG. 7.The winding member 76 moves away from the first operating part 84 in a locking range of the range in which the first operating part 84 is capable of moving, which is the range from the first initial position of the first operating part 84 toward the first predetermined position. The first initial position is, for example, the first rotational position shown in FIG. 7, and is a rotational position in which the protrusion 84B cannot move any further with respect to the recess 86B in the circumferential direction. The first predetermined position is, for example, a rotational position in which the first operating part 84 is / is rotated further than in FIG. 7, and in which the triangular pawl 76B of the winding member 76 is / is moved across the triangular pawl 78A of the clutch 78 as shown in FIG. 5.As shown in FIG. 6, the operation unit 82 further includes a reset mechanism 90. the reset mechanism 90 returns the second operation part 86 to the second initial position when the operation unit 82 is / is not operated. The return mechanism 90 includes a first spring 90A and a second spring 90B. The first spring 90A is / is disposed between one end of the protrusion 84B in the circumferential direction and the recess 86B. The second spring 90B is / is disposed between the other end of the protrusion 84B in the circumferential direction and the recess 86B. The return mechanism 90 exerts a reactive force on the second operating part 86 such that the relative rotational position of the second operating part 86 with respect to the first operating part 84 returns to the second initial position of the second operating part 86. the first spring 90A and the second spring 90B are / are realized by a compression coil spring or a plate spring. The switch 70 includes a detection unit 92 that outputs a signal in response to the movement of the operation unit 82 with respect to the winding member 76. The detection unit 92 includes a first detection unit 94 and a second detection unit 96. the first detection unit 94 includes a switch that is / is disposed between an end of the protrusion 84B in the circumferential direction and the recess 86B. The second detection unit 96 includes a switch that is / is disposed between the other end of the protrusion 84B in the circumferential direction and the recess 86B. The first detection unit 94 and the second detection unit 96 are / are pressed by the second operation part 86 moving with respect to the first operation part 84. The detection unit 92 is / is set to be ON when the amount by which the second operation part 86 moves with respect to the first operation part 84 is greater than or equal to a predetermined amount, and outputs ON signal to the controller 28 (see FIG. 1 ). The first detection unit 94 and the second detection unit 96 are / are provided to be fixed to the protrusion 84B in FIG. 6, but they may also be / are provided to be fixed to the recess 86B. Each switch may be normally off or may be normally on, but a switch which is normally off is preferred. The operation of the switch 70 will be described with reference to Figs. 2 to 7. When the second operating part 86 is / is rotated in a circumferential direction as shown in FIG. 4 due to an operation by a cyclist, the second operating part 86 rotates in a circumferential direction. That is, the second operation part 86 starts to move from the second initial position toward the second predetermined position. When the inner surface of the recess 86B of the second operation part 86 comes into contact with the second detection unit 96, the second detection unit 96 outputs an ON signal. Then, when the relative rotational position of the second operation part 86 reaches the second predetermined position, as shown in FIG. 7, the first operation part 84 is / is rotated in a circumferential direction when shifting is possible in which the second operation part 86 presses the first operation part 84. In FIG. 7, the second operation part 86 presses the first operation part 84 via the second detection unit 96; however, it is possible to provide a control portion that controls the relative rotation of the second operation part 86 and the first operation part 84 in a circumferential direction after the contact of the switch of the second detection unit 96 is / is closed toward at least one of the second operation part 86 or the first operation part 84. in this case, the second operation part 86 may press the first operation part 84 via the control portion. By providing a regulating portion, it is possible to reduce application of an excessive force to the second detection unit 96. Meanwhile, in the case of operation toward the upshift side, the expression "when shifting is possible" describes a case where the current shift position is smaller than the maximum shift position. In the case of being operated toward the downshift side, the above expression describes the case when the current shift position is larger than the minimum shift position. At this time, due to the force applied to the winding member 76, the triangular pawl 76B is / is pushed up with respect to the triangular pawl 78A of the clutch 78, and the winding member 76 is / is rotated in a revolving direction with respect to the clutch 78. In the case of this arrangement, the winding amount of the cable 58 increases by the winding member 76. that is, the cable 58 moves toward the switch 70 and rotates the rotating body 56 of the link portion 54 shown in FIG. 3. In the case of this arrangement, the shift position of the shift register 52 shown in FIG. 2 is / is changed. When the second operating part 86 is / is rotated in the other revolving direction due to an operation by the rider, the second operating part 86 rotates in the other revolving direction. That is, the rotational position of the second operation part 86 starts moving from the second initial position toward the second predetermined position. When the inner surface of the recess 86B of the second operation part 86 comes into contact with the first detection unit 94, the first detection unit 94 outputs an ON signal. When the position of the second operating part 86 reaches the second predetermined position which is symmetrical in two-sided manner to FIG. 7, the first operating part 84 is / is subsequently rotated in the other circumferential direction when shifting is possible in which the second operating part 86 presses the first operating part 84. In FIG. 7, the second operation part 86 presses the first operation part 84 via the first detection unit 94; however, it is possible to provide a control portion that controls the relative rotation of the second operation part 86 and the first operation part 84 in a circumferential direction after the contact of the switch of the first operation part 94 is / is closed toward at least one of the second operation part 86 and the first operation part 84, and the second operation part 86 can press the first operation part 84 via the control portion. By providing a control portion, it is possible to prevent an excessive force from being applied to the first detection unit 94.At this time, due to the force applied / exerted on the winding member 76, the triangular pawl 76B pushes up the triangular pawl 78A of the clutch 78, and the winding member 76 is / is rotated in the other circumferential direction with respect to the clutch 78. In the case of this arrangement, the winding amount of the cable 58 by the winding member 76 decreases. For this reason, the cable 58 moves toward the derailleur device 26 side shown in FIG. 2, and rotates the rotating body 56 of the link portion 54 shown in FIG. 3.As shown in FIG. 1, the driving force on the crank arms 30 side and the driving force on the assist motor 42 side are / are input to the derailleur 52. As shown in FIG. 2, upon changing the shift position, the transmission 52 changes the connection state of the gears constituting the planetary gear mechanism by operating a mechanical element moved by the cable 58. As the force input / becomes greater in the derailleur 52, the operation of the mechanical member becomes more difficult. For this reason, the controller 28 controls the assist motor 42 based on the output signal from the detection unit 92 side. The method that the controller 28 executes during each predetermined period of time will be described with reference to FIG. 8. As shown in step S 11, the controller 28 determines whether or not the switch of the first detection unit or the second detection unit 96 is / is turned ON. Specifically, when an ON signal is / is input from the first detection unit 94 or the second detection unit 96, a determination is / is made that the switch of the first detection unit 94 or the second detection unit 96 is / is turned on, and the process proceeds to step S 12.Then, the controller 28 reduces the output of the assist motor 42 in step S 12. The controller 28 then determines whether or not a predetermined time TX has elapsed after reducing the output of the assist motor 42. the predetermined time TX is / is preferably set to a time sufficiently longer than a standard time determined to be necessary for changing the shift position by the shift register 52 (see FIG. 2 ).The controller 28 repeats the determination process of step S 13 until the predetermined time TX has elapsed after decreasing the output of the assist motor 42. when a determination is / is made that the predetermined time TX has elapsed / is reached after decreasing the output of the assist motor 42, the controller 28 then ends the control for decreasing the output of the assist motor 42 in step S 14, and ends the present process. As a result, the output of the assist motor 42 is / is increased. As shown in FIG. 9, in the case of the controller 28, the output of the assist motor 42 becomes smaller between a time t 11 when the switch of the first detection unit 94 or the second detection unit 96 is / is turned ON and a time t 12 when a predetermined time TX has elapsed / becomes after the time t 11 as compared to the output before the time t 11. In addition, if the muscle driving force has not changed after time t12, the output of the assist motor 42 will take the same amount as the output before time t11. The output of the assist motor 42 changes according to the muscle driving force, so when the muscle driving force is increased or decreased while the output of the assist motor 42 is decreased, the assist motor 42 outputs an assist force according to the changing muscle driving force after time t 12.The electric bicycle system has the following actions and effects. The switch 70 outputs ON signal to the controller 28 in response to the movement of the operation unit 82 with respect to the winding member 76. For this reason, the controller 28 is capable of controlling the output of the assist motor 42 according to an operation for changing the gear ratio by the transmission 52.(2) The detection unit 92 outputs an ON signal to the controller 28 in a free area in which the winding member 76 does not move even when the operation unit 82 moves. That is, an ON signal is / is output to the controller 28 before the winding member 76 starts moving the cable 58. For this reason, controlling the output of the assist motor 42 is possible before the transmission 52 starts the operation to change the gear ratio. As a result, the switching performance is further improved.(3) The switch 70 includes a reset mechanism 90. For this reason, when a cyclist does not operate the operation unit 82, the position of the second operation part 86 with respect to the first operation part 84 returns to the initial position of the second operation part 86. As a result, when the operation unit 82 is / is not operated, an ON signal is suppressed from the detection unit 92 side. For this reason, preventing lowering of the output of the assist motor 42 at inappropriate times is possible. An electric bicycle system according to a present embodiment includes an assist mechanism 22, a derailleur device 26, a controller 28, and a lever-type switch 100 as shown in FIG. 10.As shown in FIG. 10, the switch 100 includes a main body portion 102 fixed to the handlebar 14. As shown in FIG. 11, the main body portion 102 includes a housing 104 which is / is fixed to the handlebar 14 by a holder 104A (see FIG. 10 ), a winding member 106 for winding a cable 58, and a ratchet 108 which is / is coupled to the winding member 106 and which controls the rotation of the winding member 106. The winding element 106 is a reel that includes a groove 106A to which the end of the cable 58 is / is fitted. The ratchet 108 is a disk-shaped or fan-shaped member. The ratchet 108 includes a plurality of ratchet teeth on the outer peripheral part.As shown in FIG. 10, the switch 100 includes an operating member 110 for upshifting which is / is rotatably attached to the main body portions 1 and 2 and which moves the winding member 106, the switch also includes an operating member 112 for downshifting. The operating member 110 for an upshift includes a first operating part 114 for moving the wicker 106, a lever shaft 116 of the first operating part 114 (see FIG. 11 ), and a second operating part 118 which is / is coupled to the first operating part 114 and which is movable with respect to the first operating part 114.As shown in FIG. 11, the first operation part 114 is a lever that is / is rotated about a lever shaft 116 provided on the main body portion 102. A male spline 116A is / is formed on the outer periphery of the lever shaft 116. The male spline 116A is fitted to a female spline 108B formed on the inner periphery of the ratchet 108. A clearance C 1 is / is formed between the male spline 116A and the female spline 108B. For this reason, the ratchet 108 is capable of moving with respect to the lever shaft 116. A feed pawl 124A is / is provided on the first operating part 114 via a shaft 124. The feed pawl 124A may engage the ratchet teeth of the ratchet 108. The shaft 124 is / is provided spaced apart from the lever shaft 116, and is / is provided parallel to the lever shaft 116. The feed pawl 124A is / is provided to be rotatable about the shaft 124. When the first operating part 114 is / is operated from an initial position in a first direction around the lever shaft 116, the feed pawl 124A engages with the ratchet teeth of the ratchet 108, and the ratchet 108 is / is rotated. In the case of this arrangement, the winding member 106 is / is rotated, and the cable 58 is / is wound. A spring 116B is / is fixed to the lever shaft 116. The spring 116B transmits a force toward a second direction of the lever shaft 116 toward the first operating part 114 and the winding member 106. In the case of this arrangement, upon non-operation, the first operation part 114 is / is biased in the second direction of the lever shaft 116, and is / is returned to the first initial position, and is / is rotated in a direction in which the winding member 106 returns to the first initial position when the positioning pawl, which will be described below, disengages from the ratchet 108.The second operating part 118 is / is fixed to be relatively displaceable with respect to the first operating part 114. The second operation part 118 is / is preferably provided at a portion of the first operation part 114 with which the cyclist is in contact, and is / is provided covering the portion where the cyclist is in contact. At this point, the second operating part 118 is a lever that is / is rotatably attached to the first operating part 114. The rotation axis of the second operation part 118 is / is provided to be parallel to the rotation axis of the first operation part 114, for example. The first operating part 114 does not move even when the second operating part 118 moves in a lock range of the range in which the second operating part 118 is capable of moving, which is the range from a second initial position of the second operating part 118 toward a second predetermined position. The second initial position is, for example, a position shown by the solid line in FIG. 10, and is the position of the second operation part 118 when an external force is / is not applied to the second operation part 118. The second predetermined position is, for example, a position shown by a double dashed line in FIG. 10, and is a position in which the second operation part 118 cannot move any further with respect to the first operation part 114.The upshift actuator 110 further includes a reset mechanism 120. The reset mechanism 120 returns the second operating part 118 to the second initial position when the second operating part 118 is / is not operated. The return mechanism 120 is a spring that is / is disposed between the first operating part 114 and the second operating part 118. The return mechanism 120 applies a reactive force to the second operating part 118 so that the position of the second operating part 118 with respect to the first operating part 114 will return to the second initial position of the second operating part 118.For downshifting, the operating member 112 for downshifting includes a first operating part 122 for moving the winding member 106, a lever shaft 124 of the first operating part 122, and a second operating part 126 that is / is coupled to the first operating part 122 and that is movable with respect to the first operating part 122.The first operation part 122 is a lever, and the proximal end portion of the first operation part 122 is / is coupled to a second lever shaft (not shown) provided on the main body portion 102. The first operating part 122 is capable of moving with respect to the second lever shaft. A positioning pawl (not shown) and a holding pawl (not shown) are / are provided at the first operating part 122. The positioning pawl is / is matched with the ratchet teeth of the ratchet 108 and regulates the rotation of the ratchet 108 to a rotational position corresponding to each shift position. The retaining pawl acts in conjunction with the positioning pawl and suppresses the ratchet 108 from immediately returning to the initial position when the retaining pawl disengages from the ratchet 108. That is, when the positioning pawl disengages from the ratchet 108, the holding pawl engages with the ratchet 108. When the first operating part 122 is / is rotated in a second direction around the second lever shaft from the first initial position, the positioning pawl disengages from the ratchet 108, and the holding pawl engages with the ratchet. In the case of this arrangement, the ratchet 108 is / is rotated one step in the direction to return to the initial position. The first operating part 122 is / is biased in a direction to return to the first initial position and returns to the first initial position when an operating force is / is not applied thereto. In the case of the present embodiment, the operation directions of the upshift operation member 110 and the downshift operation member 112 are / are designed to be opposite directions from the initial positions. The gear is / is shifted by the rider pushing the operating unit in the case of the operating member 110 for upshift and by the rider pulling the operating unit in the case of the operating member 112 for downshift. In another embodiment, the direction of actuation from the initial position may be the same for the upshift actuator 110 and the downshift actuator 112. That is, the configuration may be such that the gear is / is shifted in which the rider presses the upshift actuator 110 and presses the downshift actuator 112.The second operating part 126 is / is fixed to be comparatively replaceable with respect to the first operating part 122. The second operation part 126 is / is preferably provided at a portion of the first operation part 122 with which the cyclist is in contact, and is / is provided covering the portion where the cyclist is in contact. At this point, the second operating part 126 is a lever that is / is rotatably attached to the first operating part 122. The rotation axis of the second operation part 126 is / is provided to be parallel to the rotation axis of the first operation part 122, for example. The first operating part 122 does not move even when the second operating part 126 moves in a lock range of the range in which the second operating part 126 is capable of moving, which is the range from a second initial position of the second operating part 126 toward a second predetermined position. The second initial position is, for example, a position shown by the solid line in FIG. 10, and is a position of the second operation part 126 when an external force is / is not applied to the second operation part 126. The second predetermined position is, for example, a position shown by the double dashed line in FIG. 10, and is a position in which the second operation part 126 cannot move any further with respect to the first operation part 122.The downshift actuator 112 further includes a reset mechanism 128. The reset mechanism 128 returns the second operating part 126 to the second initial position when the second operating part 126 is / is not operated. The return mechanism 128 is a spring that is / is interposed between the first operation part 122 and the second operation part 126. The return mechanism 128 applies a reactive force to the second operating part 126, so that the position of the second operating part 126 with respect to the first operating part 122 will return to the initial position of the second operating part 126.The switch 100 further includes a detection unit 132 that outputs a signal in response to the movement of the actuators 110 and 112 with respect to the winding member 106. The detection unit 132 comprises a first detection unit 134 and a second detection unit 136.The first detection unit 134 is a switch that is / is disposed between the first operation part 114 and the second operation part 118. The first detection unit 134 is / is pressed by the second operation part 118 when moving toward the first operation part 114 side with respect to the first operation part 114. The first detection unit 134 is / is set to be ON when the amount by which the second operation part 118 moves with respect to the first operation part 114 is greater than or equal to a predetermined amount, and outputs an ON signal to the controller 28 (see FIG. 1 ).The second detection unit 136 is a switch that is / is disposed between the first operation part 122 and the second operation part 126. The second detection unit 136 is / is pressed by the second operation part 126 while moving with respect to the first operation part 122. The first detection unit 136 is / is set to be ON when the amount by which the second operation part 126 moves with respect to the first operation part 122 is greater than or equal to a predetermined amount, and outputs an ON signal to the controller 28 (see FIG. 1 ). The first detection unit 134 and the second detection unit 136 are / are provided to be fixed to the first operation parts 114 and 122, respectively, in FIG. 10. However, both may also be provided to be / become fixed to the second operation parts 118 and 126. Each switch may be normally off or may be normally on, but a switch which is normally off is preferable. The operation of the switch 100 will be described with reference to FIG. 11. When the upshift operation member 110 is / is pressed by an operation by the rider for an upshift, the second operation part 118 approaches the first operation part 114. That is, the position of the second operation part 118 starts moving from the initial position toward the second predetermined position. When the position of the second operation part 118 reaches an intermediate position where the second operation part 118 comes into contact with the first detection unit 134, the first detection unit 134 outputs an ON signal. When the position of the second operating part 118 then reaches the second predetermined position, the first operating part 114 and the second operating part 118 integrally rotate the first operating part 114.At this time, the feed pawl 124A of the lever shaft 124 rotates the ratchet 108 in a revolving direction, and the lever shaft 124 rotates continued to the first operating part 114. In the case of this arrangement, the amount of winding of the cable 58 with the winding member 106 increases. For this reason, the cable 58 moves toward the side including the switch 100, and rotates the rotating body 56 of the link portion 54 as shown in FIG. 3. In the case of this arrangement, the shift position of the shift mechanism 52 shown in FIG. 2 is / is changed. In FIG. 11, the second operation part 118 presses the first operation part 114 by the first detection unit 134; however, there is a possibility of providing a control portion that controls the relative rotation of the second operation part 118 and the first operation part 114 after the contact of the switch of the first detection unit 134 is / becomes closed toward either the second operation part 118 or the first operation part 114. In this case, the second operation part 118 may press the first operation part 114 by the control portion. By providing a regulation portion, it is possible to prevent an excessive force from being applied to the first detection unit 134.When the operation button 112 is / is pressed for downshifting by an operation by the rider, the second operation part 126 approaches the first operation part 122. That is, the position of the second operation part 126 starts moving from the second initial position toward the second predetermined position. When the position of the second operation part 126 reaches an intermediate position where the second operation part 126 comes into contact with the second detection unit 136, the second detection unit 136 outputs an ON signal. When the position of the second operating part 126 then reaches the second predetermined position, the first operating part 122 and the second operating part 126 will rotate the first operating part 122 in association with each other. At this time, the positioning pawl of the first operating part 122 moves away from the ratchet 108. The ratchet 108 rotates in the other revolving direction by the reaction force of the spring 116B. In the case of this arrangement, the amount of winding of the cable 58 by the winding member 106 decreases. For this reason, the cable 58 moves toward the link portion 54 side as shown in FIG. 3, and rotates the rotating body 56 of the link portion 54. The electric bicycle system has the same effects as those according to (1) to (3) of the first embodiment. An electric bicycle system of the present embodiment includes an assist mechanism 22, a switch 70, a controller 28, and an external-type derailleur 140 as shown in FIG. 12. The other end of the outer link 150 and the movable member 152 are / are connected by a pivot pin 160. The outer link 150 is capable of rotating about the pivot pin 160 with respect to the movable member 152.A spring, which is not shown, is / is interposed between the end of the outer link 150 on the side with the base member 142 and the end of the inner link 148 on the side with the movable member 152. This spring biases the movable member 152 so as to become the low normal or top normal. The movable member 152 is / is movably attached to the base member 142 via the inner link 148 and the outer link 150. The support member 146 is / is rotatably attached to the movable member 152. The support member 146 includes a pair of plates and rotatably supports a guide roller 162 and a tension roller 164.A chain 40 is / is wound around the guide roller 162 and the tension roller 164. In addition, the outer link 150 is / is rotated about the pivot pin 158 and the pivot pin 160. The support member 146 moves toward the vehicle body center side or toward the opposite side of the vehicle body center side due to an operation of the inner link 148 and the outer link 150. In the case of this arrangement, the position of the chain 40 on which the guide roller 162 and the tension roller 164 is / is wound is changed, and the rear sprocket 38 on which the chain 40 is / is wound is / is changed.
