Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a partition device for separating the cargo space of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one winding shaft with two lateral ends, a roller blind that can be wound onto the winding shaft, at least one drawbar for extending the roller blind with two drawbar ends, and at least two opposing guide rails. The drawbar can be moved from a rest position, in which the roller blind is almost completely wound onto the winding shaft, to an extended position, in which the roller blind is extended and at least partially separates the cargo space, and back again. The winding shaft is movable back and forth between a working position, in which the roller blind can be moved into the extended position by means of the drawbar, and a stow position and / or another working position. The present invention also relates to a motor vehicle with a corresponding partition device.
[0002] Partition devices are known in the prior art in various designs, for example, in the form of cargo area covers. These typically include a roller cassette located behind the rear seats with a retractable roller blind. The roller cassettes are usually removable from the vehicle so that, when the rear seatbacks are folded down, the use of the now enlarged cargo space is not obstructed by the cassette. To increase the ease of use of such partition devices, electric drives are often provided. However, to enable convenient loading, it is necessary to first retract the roller blind into its resting position using the drive.
[0003] German patent DE 10 2005 003 080 A1 discloses a partition device comprising a winding shaft and a drawbar. The winding shaft and the drawbar are each guided in guide rails. The entire partition device can therefore be moved and positioned at different locations within the cargo space to separate different sections. The partition device is moved manually.
[0004] German patent DE 10 2014 010 471 A1 discloses a cargo cover that can be coupled to the vehicle's tailgate mechanism. Opening the tailgate simultaneously activates the drive for the cargo cover, retracting the roller blind into its resting position. This opens the cargo area upwards, allowing for convenient loading and unloading. To remove the cargo cover from the vehicle, the roller blind cassette can be detached from the drive, enabling the transport of larger items even with the rear seatbacks folded down. However, after removal, the relatively bulky roller blind cassette must be stored separately in the vehicle or off-site.
[0005] DE 103 57 153 A1 therefore proposes a separating device in which the roller cassette, with the roller blind assembly housed within it, can be arranged in a storage compartment in the area of the luggage compartment floor. For this purpose, the entire roller cassette can be moved from its operating position into this storage compartment in guide rails. The roller blind is extended from the cassette manually, with the longitudinal ends of the extension profile being threaded into separate guide rails. A comparatively large installation space is required to accommodate the roller cassette in this storage compartment.
[0006] Similarly, DE 10 2004 060 747 A1 also discloses a separating device in which a roller blind assembly is housed in a cassette. The cassette is movably mounted in guide rails and can be moved from an operating position to a storage position and back again.
[0007] The object of the present invention is to propose a separating device which is easy to operate and requires little space.
[0008] The problem is solved using the characteristics of independent claims.
[0009] In a partition device of the type mentioned above, comprising a roller blind that can be wound onto a winding shaft, a pull bar for extending the roller blind, and at least two opposing guide rails, the winding shaft is movably guided at its lateral ends within the guide rails. Furthermore, the winding shaft and the pull bar are movable by means of a common drive. Due to the direct guidance of the winding shaft in the guide rails, the partition device is preferably designed without a cassette. The partition device therefore requires significantly less space in both its stowed and working positions. Thus, even in confined spaces, it is easily possible to accommodate the partition device in a storage compartment without reducing the cargo volume. The separating device also offers a high level of user-friendliness, as it no longer needs to be removed from the vehicle when not in use. Instead, the separating device can be moved from the working position to the storage position and back again simply by sliding the winding shaft along the guide rails.
[0010] The operating position is preferably located behind the rear seat(s) of the vehicle, from where the roller blind can be extended towards the tailgate. The storage position is preferably provided in a storage compartment in the vehicle's load floor. The preferably cassette-less winding shaft can be stored there protected and, on the other hand, does not protrude obstructively into the load compartment volume.
[0011] Because the winding shaft is movably guided in guide rails, it is also possible to move it from one working position to another. For example, the winding shaft could be moved from a first working position behind the rear seats of the vehicle to another working position behind the front seats in order to partition off the cargo area even when the rear seatbacks are folded down.
[0012] To allow for flexible partitioning or covering of the cargo space, it is also conceivable to arrange two winding shafts instead of just one on a common support element and guide them slidably in the guide rails. The two winding shafts can thus be moved together from the stowed position to the working position, although the extension directions of the two roller blind sections are different.
[0013] It is particularly advantageous if each lateral end of the winding shaft and each end of the drawbar are guided in a common guide rail by means of their own sliding element. This facilitates the simultaneous movement of the winding shaft and the drawbar and allows them to be driven by a single drive.
[0014] To enable the winding shaft and the drawbar to be operated both together and separately using a common drive, it is advantageous if the drawbar's sliding element is connected to the drive and the winding shaft's sliding element can be selectively coupled or decoupled from the drawbar's sliding element. For joint operation of the winding shaft and drawbar from the stowed position to the working position and back, the winding shaft's sliding element can be coupled to that of the drawbar, and for operation of the drawbar alone to extend the roller blind, it can be decoupled from it.
[0015] To decouple the two sliding elements, it is advantageous to arrange an actuating element in the guide rail. Preferably, the actuating element is located in the working position of the winding shaft. Decoupling thus occurs automatically as soon as the winding shaft reaches the working position.
[0016] Advantageously, the guide rails include a first guide rail section extending between the working position and the stowed position and / or the next working position of the winding shaft, and a second guide rail section extending between the rest position and the extended position of the pull bar. This allows the winding shaft and pull bar to be moved into the working position in a continuous motion, followed by the extension of the roller blind using the pull bar. However, especially with manual operation of the pull bar, it is also conceivable to provide separate guide rails for the pull bar and the winding shaft. If necessary, a guide element can be provided on one of the guide rails or on the vehicle to facilitate the transfer of the pull bar into its assigned guide rails when the roller blind is extended.
[0017] It is particularly advantageous if the separate guide rails or the two guide rail sections are arranged at an angle to each other, especially at an angle between 70° and 120°. The first guide rail or the first guide rail section is preferably arranged parallel to a rear seat backrest, while the second guide rail or the second guide rail section is preferably arranged parallel to a beltline of the vehicle.
[0018] However, it is also conceivable to arrange the second guide rail or guide rail section in a line or with a parallel offset behind the first guide rail or guide rail section. For example, the second guide rail section can run along a pillar, particularly a C-pillar, of the vehicle to extend the roller shutter track along the pillar like a safety net. Similarly, the first and second guide rails or sections could be arranged one behind the other along the vehicle's beltline, for example, to move the winding shaft between two working positions. Finally, especially when the winding shaft is operated manually, depending on the interior design and seating arrangement of the vehicle, it is also conceivable to provide additional guide rails or guide rail sections to move the winding shaft into another working position and / or another stowing position.
[0019] If a guide rail with two guide rail sections is provided, it is further advantageous if the sliding element of the winding shaft has a greater width and / or height than the sliding element of the drawbar, and if a guide groove of the first guide rail section has a greater width and / or height than a guide groove of the second guide rail section. The guide groove of the second section thus forms a stop for the sliding element of the winding shaft, thereby facilitating the decoupling of the two sliding elements.
[0020] As an alternative to the different dimensions of the guide rail sections, a separate stop for the winding shaft's sliding element can also be arranged in the guide rail. It is also conceivable that the stop is initially located outside the guide groove of the guide rail and is only activated by a release element, or moved into the guide groove to form the stop. The stop can be activated, for example, by the sliding element of the drawbar passing over the release element. Such a design with an activatable stop requires a particularly small amount of space.
[0021] According to a further development of the invention, the winding shaft can be locked in the working position, in particular by means of a locking element arranged in the guide rail. This fixes the winding shaft in its working position, thus preventing any movement of the winding shaft when extending or rewinding the roller blind, as well as when coupling the two sliding elements, and also preventing rattling noises during operation.
[0022] According to another advantageous embodiment, the drawbar has a device for unlocking it from the drive, which is preferably arranged on the sliding element of the drawbar. If forces act on the drawbar in an extended position, for example in the case of improper loading, it is unlocked from the drive and can perform an evasive movement.
[0023] To achieve a visually appealing appearance of the partition, a cover element for a pull-out slot of the storage compartment can be attached to the pull-out frame. This automatically closes the storage compartment when the roller tube is in its stowed position. Alternatively or additionally, a cover element for a contour gap, particularly at the tailgate, can also be attached to the pull-out frame. When the roller blind is extended, this closes the contour gap that arises between the pull-out frame and the tailgate (or a contoured section thereof) due to the curvature of the tailgate.
[0024] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, a cover element for a pull-out slot of the storage compartment and / or for a contour gap, in particular for a contour gap at the rear seat backrest, is arranged on the winding shaft. When the winding shaft is in its working position, the latter closes the gap that results between the winding shaft and the rear seat backrest.
[0025] Such a cover element can also be movably mounted on the winding shaft or the drawbar. For example, the cover element can be held in a transport position on the winding shaft or the drawbar during the movement of the winding shaft or the drawbar and moved into a covering position by means of an actuating device when the gap to be covered is reached.
[0026] It is also conceivable to design the cover element in two parts, so that one part of the cover element is attached to the drawbar and the other part to the winding shaft. In their overlapping position, the two parts then function together as a single cover element.
[0027] To avoid the accumulation of dirt and the associated functional impairment of the separating device, it is advantageous if at least one of the sliding elements of a guide rail has a cleaning element for cleaning the guide groove.
[0028] To compensate for tolerances occurring in the transverse direction of the vehicle, it is further advantageous if at least one of the sliding elements, preferably both sliding elements of the winding shaft, are resiliently mounted on or in the winding shaft in its longitudinal direction. For the same reason, it is advantageous if one or both of the sliding elements of the drawbar are resiliently mounted on or in the drawbar in its longitudinal direction. If both sliding elements are resiliently mounted, the separating device centers itself automatically in the vehicle, which simplifies installation.
[0029] In the case of an electric drive for the winding shaft and / or the drawbar, it is further advantageous if the drive has an anti-pinch device and / or a collision detection device. This prevents injuries and damage to the separating device when running into an obstacle.
[0030] The described partition device, in which the winding shaft is no longer fixed in place but movable in rails into a stowed position, allows the partition device to remain permanently installed in the vehicle even when not in use. Therefore, protection is also claimed for a vehicle with a cargo area, a loading floor, and a partition device as described above.
[0031] In an advantageous embodiment of the vehicle, the loading floor has a storage compartment for the winding shaft and the drawbar. This allows the partition device to be stored safely and without obstructing the loading of the cargo area.
[0032] To maintain a professional appearance of the cargo area even when the winding shaft is in its working position, it is advantageous to have a spring-loaded cover for the storage compartment on the loading floor. This cover closes the storage compartment from the cargo area when the winding shaft is in its working position.
[0033] Further advantages of the invention are described with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown below. These show: Fig. 1 a motor vehicle with a separating device in a schematic longitudinal section, wherein the winding shaft is arranged in its working position, Fig. 2 a motor vehicle with a separating device in a schematic longitudinal section, wherein the winding shaft is arranged in its stowed position, Fig. 3 A top view of a guide rail with sliding elements arranged therein in a schematic sectional view, Fig. 4 a detailed view of a guide rail with two guide rail sections, Fig. 5 a schematic representation of a device for unlocking the drawbar from the drive, Fig. 6 a schematic representation of a sliding element with a space element, as well as Fig. 7 a schematic representation of a cover element on a drawbar or winding shaft.
[0034] Fig. Figure 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section of a motor vehicle 3 equipped with a partition 1. The motor vehicle 3 includes a cargo space 2, which in this case is bounded by a loading floor 9, the tailgate 25, and the rear seat backrest(s) 20 of the motor vehicle 3. Depending on the design of the motor vehicle 3, the cargo space 2 may also be bounded by the backrests of the front seats, for example, in a two-seater vehicle or with the rear seat backrests 20 folded down.
[0035] A partition device 1 is provided to at least partially separate the cargo space 2 from a passenger compartment 28 located in front of the cargo space 2 in the direction of travel (see arrow F). The partition device 1 includes a winding shaft 4, which is rotatably mounted and onto which a roller blind 5 can be wound. Fig. Figure 1 shows the winding shaft in a working position behind the rear seat backrests 20. To extend the roller blind 5 shown here wound up, a pull bar 6 is arranged at the free end of the roller blind 5, which extends next to the winding shaft 4 in a rest position when the roller blind 5 is wound up. To allow the winding shaft 4 to be stored in the vehicle 3 in a space-saving manner when not in use, a storage position is also provided. In this case, the loading floor 9 of the vehicle 3 has a storage space 8 for the winding shaft 4.
[0036] Unlike conventional separating devices, in the present separating device 1 the winding shaft 4 is not arranged in a roller cassette, but rather is openly mounted in the motor vehicle 3. The two lateral ends 4' (see Fig. 4) The winding shaft 4 is guided slidably in one of two guide rails 7 arranged opposite each other on the side panels 29 of the motor vehicle 3. The drawbar 6 is also guided with its two drawbar ends 6' (see Fig. 4) guided in the guide rails 7. The winding shaft 4 can thus be conveniently moved together with the drawbar 6 from the working position shown here to the storage position (see figure) by simply sliding it within the guide rails 7. Fig. 2) be moved. Removing the separating device 1 from its working position when not in use is therefore no longer necessary. A particular advantage is that, because the winding shaft 4 is mounted directly in the guide rails 7, the entire separating device 1 requires very little space. A storage space 8 for the winding shaft 4 can therefore be easily accommodated even in confined spaces.
[0037] In this case, the winding shaft 4 can be moved between its storage position and its working position by means of a drive 10. The drive 10 includes an electric motor 11 and a transmission element, for example a pressure-resistant cable or incline cable 12 or a drive shaft, which transmits the movement of the electric motor 11 to the winding shaft 4.
[0038] The guide rails 7 extend at least between the stowed position in the storage compartment 8 and the working position of the winding shaft 4. In this case, the guide rails 7 extend not only to the working position of the winding shaft 4, but also to an extended position of the drawbar 6, in which the roller blind 5 is at least partially extended and the drawbar 6 runs parallel to and spaced apart from the winding shaft 4. This advantageously allows not only the winding shaft 4 to be moved, but also the extension of the roller blind 5 to be accomplished by the same drive 10. In the left area of the Fig. 1 The extension position of the drawbar 6 with the roller blind track 5 almost fully extended is indicated in dashed lines.
[0039] Fig. Figure 2 shows the winding shaft 4 in its stowed position in the storage compartment 8. The winding shaft 4, together with the drawbar 6, is completely enclosed in the storage compartment 8, so that the entire cargo space 2 remains unobstructed. At the same time, the openly stored winding shaft 4 is protected from damage and contamination.
[0040] To close the storage compartment 8 and protect the winding shaft 4 in its stowed position, the pull-out gap of the storage compartment 8 can, in the simplest case, be closed with a brush seal. According to the illustration of the Fig. 2 A cover element 19 is provided, which is fixedly connected to the drawbar 6. This element moves together with the drawbar 6 when the winding shaft 4 is moved and therefore automatically closes the pull-out gap of the storage compartment 8 as soon as the winding shaft 4 and the drawbar reach their stowed position. With a suitable shape, such a movable cover element 19 connected to the drawbar 6 can also be used to close a contour gap 23 on the tailgate 25.
[0041] When the winding shaft 4 is in its working position, the storage compartment 8 is open at the top, so that dirt or objects could get into it. Advantageously, a spring-loaded cover 26 is therefore arranged on the loading floor 9 of the vehicle 3. Fig. 2. This cover 26 is pressed against the spring force towards the vehicle floor 30, thereby allowing the winding shaft 4 and the drawbar 6 to be inserted into the storage compartment 8. When the winding shaft 4 leaves its stowed position, the cover 26 is pushed upwards by the spring force, closing the storage compartment 8 at the top. This is in Fig. 1 shown.
[0042] The method of using the tension bow 6 and the winding shaft 4 by means of a common drive 10 is described below with reference to the Fig. 3 explained. Fig. Figure 3 shows a schematic sectional view of a guide rail 7 with a sliding element 13 of the tension bow 6 and a sliding element 14 of the winding shaft 4. The lateral end 4' of the winding shaft 4 is connected to the sliding element 14, which is slidably mounted in a guide groove 16 of the guide rail 7. Similarly, the tension bow end 6' of the tension bow 6 is connected to the sliding element 13, which is also slidably guided in the guide groove 16. The other lateral end 4' of the winding shaft 4 and the other tension bow end 6' are guided analogously in the opposite rail 7 (not shown). Both the sliding element 13 of the tension bow 6 and the sliding element 14 of the winding shaft 4 are resiliently mounted in the winding shaft 4 and the tension bow 6, respectively, in the longitudinal direction of the winding shaft 4 and the tension bow 6.This advantageously allows for compensation of vehicle tolerances in the transverse direction of the vehicle, without requiring the calibration of the separating device 1.
[0043] The two sliding elements 13 and 14 are coupled by means of a coupling device 31, so that they can be moved together by means of a single drive 10. For this purpose, the sliding element 13 of the tension bow 6 is connected to the incline cable 12 (dashed lines). By moving the incline cable 12 in the guide rail 7, the movement is thus transmitted via the sliding element 13 and the coupling device 31 to the sliding element 14 of the winding shaft 4. In this case, the coupling device 31 is a spring-loaded pin, which is mounted in the sliding element 13 of the tension bow 6 and extends into a recess 32 of the coupled sliding element 14, so that it is carried along. Other geometries of the coupling device 31 and other operating mechanisms, for example a rocker, are of course also conceivable.
[0044] To enable the roller shutter 5 to be extended when the winding shaft 4 reaches its working position (dashed line), the sliding element 14 is decoupled from the sliding element 13. This allows the latter to continue moving independently within the guide rail 7 while the drive cable 12 continues to operate. An actuating element 15 is provided in the guide rail 7 to actuate the coupling device 31. This element pushes the pin of the coupling device 31 out of the recess 32 against the spring force, so that it only passes through the sliding element 13. The sliding element 14 is thus decoupled, and the drawbar 6 can then be moved independently by means of the sliding elements 13 to extend the roller shutter 5.
[0045] To retract the roller blind 5, the sliding element 13 is driven in the opposite direction and moves back towards the sliding element 14, which remains in the working position of the winding shaft 4, while winding up the roller blind 5. As soon as the coupling device 31 has passed the actuating element 15, the pin of the coupling device 31 is pressed back into the recess 32 by the spring force and is thus coupled to the sliding element 14 again.
[0046] To prevent the sliding element 14 from shifting when the sliding element 13 is coupled and to securely fix the winding shaft 4 in its working position, a locking element 17 is arranged in the guide rail 7. This locking element is also spring-loaded and automatically engages in a locking recess (not shown) of the sliding element 14 as soon as the latter reaches the working position. The locking element 17 is in Fig. 4 shown.
[0047] To support the decoupling of the sliding element 13 from the sliding element 14 and at the same time to achieve good guidance of both sliding elements 13, 14 in every area of the guide rail 7, it is further advantageous if the two sliding elements 13 and 14 have different dimensions and the guide groove 16 of the rail 7 also has correspondingly different dimensions.
[0048] How Fig. The sliding element 14 of the winding shaft 4, which is removable, has a greater width B than the sliding element 13 with width b. Furthermore, the guide rail 7 has at least two different sections 7a and 7b, wherein the guide groove 16 of the guide rail 7 has a greater width in the first guide rail section 7a than in the guide rail section 7b. At the transition between the guide rail sections 7a and 7b, a stop is formed which fixes the sliding element 14 when the sliding element 13 is decoupled from it and moved further. At the same time, the narrower sliding element 13 can be guided in the narrower guide groove 16 of the second section 7 without the risk of jamming. Of course, the two sliding elements 13 and 14 can also differ in height instead of or in addition to their different widths.Accordingly, the guide grooves 16 of the two guide rail sections 7a, 7b can also be of different heights. Different heights of the guide grooves are indicated by the dashed lines in . Fig. 4 shown.
[0049] Fig. Figure 4 shows a detailed view of such a guide rail with two different guide rail sections 7a, 7b. The first guide rail section 7a extends between the stowing position of the winding shaft ( Fig. 1) and the working position of the winding shaft 4, which is in Fig. 4 is symbolized by a dashed line. The second guide rail section 7b connects directly to the guide rail section 7a and links the rest position of the drawbar 6 (dashed line) with the extended position of the drawbar 6 ( Fig. 1).
[0050] Fig. Figure 5 shows a schematic section of a release device 18. As already described, the drawbar 6, with its drawbar ends 6', is guided in the guide groove 16 of the guide rail 7 by means of a sliding element 13. The sliding element 13 is connected to the incline cable 12 and is thus held in every position by the drive 10. If the drawbar 6 is in an extended position, it is therefore not possible to simply push the drawbar 6 back; instead, the drive 10 must be actuated. The release device 18 therefore makes it possible to temporarily detach the drawbar 6 from the drive 10 or the incline cable 12 in order to allow separate movement of the drawbar 6. For this purpose, the sliding element 13 is designed in two parts, with the two parts 13a and 13b being detachably connected to each other. In this case, a spring-loaded detent ball is provided to connect the two parts 13a and 13b. This detent ball is mounted in part 13b and engages in a detent recess in part 13a. During normal operation, when no forces act on the winding shaft 4, the second part 13b of the sliding element 13 is driven and moved together with part 13a, in this case via a support element 35, the tension bow 6. Of course, a different geometry can be provided for connecting the two parts 13a and 13b instead of one or more detent balls.
[0051] If, however, a lateral force acts on the drawbar 6, the holding force of the device 18 is exceeded, and the device 18 unlocks the two parts 13a and 13b from each other. Part 13a, which remains connected to the incline cable 12, stays in the guide rail 7, while part 13b is displaced in the guide rail 7 by the force acting upon it and moves out of the way of the lateral force. Part 13b remains guided in the guide rail 7 and can therefore be easily re-coupled to part 13a, either manually or by moving part 13a using the drive 10. This prevents damage to the drawbar 6 during loading, even if it is not in its rest position. An advantage of this is that the device 18 can also be operated manually if the roller shutter track 5 was not retracted before loading.Similarly, such a device 18 could also be used for unlocking to unlock the winding shaft 4 from the drive 10, for example if the winding shaft 4 encounters an obstacle during transport.
[0052] Fig. Figure 6 shows a schematic representation of a sliding element 13 or 14 with a cleaning element 22. The cleaning element 22 is arranged in front of the sliding element 13 or 14 and clears the guide groove 16 of contaminants with each movement of the sliding element 13 or 14. Such contaminants can arise, for example, from fibers or flakes flying from trim components or seat covers and could impair the function of the separating device. The guide rail 7 has a discharge opening for removing the contaminants accumulated by the cleaning element. Alternatively, the cleaning element can also be designed as a brush, for example.
[0053] Fig. Figure 7 shows a further embodiment of a cover element 19, which can be used to cover a contour gap 23, 24 or the extension gap of the storage compartment 8. In this case, the cover element 19 is pivotally mounted on the drawbar 6 or the winding shaft 4. This allows the cover element 19 to be moved into a transport position together with the winding shaft 4 or the drawbar 6 (shown in solid lines). An actuating device 21, for example a pin or a cam, is provided for pivoting the cover element 19 from the transport position into a covering position. This device is located in the area of the contour gap or extension gap to be covered in the vehicle.
