Abstract
Description
1. Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a wiring harness. 2. Description of the state of the art
[0002] For example, electrical components such as a sunroof and a sliding door of an automobile are supplied with power via a wiring harness. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. JP 2010-57317 A describes a method for providing a protector (supporting member), an electric wire, and a leaf spring as a guide structure of a wiring harness, and for fastening the electric wire to the protector together with the leaf spring using a tension band.
[0003] For example, in the conventional structure, a tension band is used to fix the electric wire, the leaf spring, and the protector. In a case where the electric wire and the outer member are fixed, an end portion of the outer member and the electric wire protruding from the end portion are wrapped with an adhesive tape. In a case where the leaf spring and the protector are fixed, the leaf spring can be fixed by forming a concave portion in the protector. For example, since a fixing method is specified for each component, the conventional structure requires a working space for each fixing method, which poses a problem that complicates the work.
[0004] EP 3 093 929 A1 discloses a wiring harness comprising an electrical cable having flexibility and an outer member (corrugated tube) into which the electrical cable is inserted. Furthermore, there is a load-relieving retaining member that securely holds an end portion of the outer member and a portion of the electrical cable together. The retaining member has a main body with a routing space portion in which the electrical cable is routed along an axial direction, and a cover portion. Furthermore, the retaining member includes a plurality of projections that project from one of the main body and the cover portion toward the other of the main body and the cover portion, locking the outer member.
[0005] Further prior art is also known from the documents EP 3 623 225 A1, EP 1 108 621 A2 and EP 3 628 543 A1. Summary of the invention
[0006] The present invention has been conceived in view of the above, and therefore, an object of the invention is to provide a wire harness capable of simplifying a workload for attaching an electric wire, a leaf spring member, and an outer member to a protector.
[0007] To achieve the above-mentioned object, a wire harness according to one aspect of the present invention comprises the features of claim 1.
[0008] The foregoing and other objects, features, advantages and technical and industrial significance of this invention will be better understood when the following detailed description of the present preferred embodiments of the invention is read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Short description of the drawings Fig. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a sunroof of an automobile on which a wire harness according to an embodiment is arranged; Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the wiring harness; Fig. 3 is a plan view of a protective main body of the wire harness; Fig. 4 is a perspective cross-sectional view of the Fig. 3 shown protective main body; Fig. 5 is an assembled cross-sectional view of the wiring harness; Detailed description of the preferred embodiments
[0009] Below, an embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. Furthermore, the components of the following embodiments include those that can be easily replaced by those skilled in the art or those that are substantially the same. Embodiment
[0010] Fig. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a sunroof of a motor vehicle to which a wire harness according to an embodiment is provided. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the wire harness according to an embodiment. Fig. 3 is a plan view of a protective main body of the wire harness. Fig. 4 is a perspective cross-sectional view of the Fig. 3 shown protective main body. Fig. Figure 5 is an assembled cross-sectional view of the wiring harness.
[0011] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 1, a wire harness WH of the present embodiment electrically connects, for example, a vehicle body side and a sunroof (glass window) 100 and serves for power supply and signal communication. The sunroof 100 is a movable body mounted on a ceiling portion of a vehicle body and electrically displaces relative to the vehicle body. The sunroof 100 includes an electrical device 100a, such as a switch or a motor, which is driven by electrical power from a vehicle battery. As shown in Figures Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the wire harness WH includes an electric wire 1, a leaf spring member 2, an outer member 3, a protector (holding member) 4, and a connector 5. In the present embodiment, the protector 4 of the wire harness WH is fixed to the sunroof 100, for example, by engaging claws of a bracket (not shown) having engaging grooves 4c formed on both side surfaces of the protector 4. Moreover, the connector 5 provided at the end portion of the electric wire 1 led out of the protector 4 is coupled to the mating connector and connected to the electrical device 100a.
[0012] It should be noted that in the following description of the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction that intersect, the first direction is referred to as the "width direction X," the second direction is referred to as the "axial direction Y," and the third direction is referred to as the "height direction Z." The width direction X, the axial direction Y, and the height direction Z are generally orthogonal to each other (intersect). Here, the axial direction Y corresponds to the sliding movement of the sunroof 100 described above and the axial direction of the protective device 4 attached to the sunroof 100. The width direction X and the height direction Z correspond to the width direction and the height direction of the protective device 4 attached to the sunroof 100. Note that the height direction Z also includes a state in which the protective device 4 is upside down.
[0013] The electric cable 1 is a conductive member that is flexible. In the electric cable 1, the outer surface of a conductor portion (core wire) consisting of a plurality of conductive metal strands is covered with a sheath portion that has an insulating property. In the present embodiment, as shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the WH wiring harness comprises two electrical cables 1.
[0014] The leaf spring element 2 is an elastic element in the form of a band that extends along the electric cable 1 and determines the path of the electric cable 1.
[0015] The outer member 3 is flexible. In the present embodiment, the outer member 3 is formed into a tubular shape (pipe shape) by intermeshing insulating fibers, and the cross-sectional shape is, for example, an oval shape. As shown in Fig. 2, the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 are inserted into the outer member 3. The electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 are inserted into the outer member 3 together in a state where they overlap in the height direction Z. The end portions of the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 are led out from an end portion 3a of the outer member 3.
[0016] An end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 has a convex shape protruding in the width direction X intersecting the axial direction Y. Specifically, the leaf spring member 2 has a cutout portion 22 in which both ends in the width direction are partially cut out in the width direction, and the cutout portion 22 forms a convex shape in which the end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 protrudes relatively in the width direction X. It should be noted that the end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 only needs to have a convex shape protruding relatively in the width direction X, and may have a convex shape in which both ends in the width direction protrude in the width direction.
[0017] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 1, the protective device 4 is made of an insulating synthetic resin and formed in a hollow, substantially rectangular tubular shape. In the protective device 4, the electric cable 1, the leaf spring element 2, and the outer member 3 are inserted from an insertion opening 4a provided at one end in the axial direction, and the electric cable 1 is led out from a lead-out opening 4b provided at the other end in the axial direction. In the present embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, Fig. 2, the protector 4 guides the electric cable 1, the leaf spring element 2 and the outer member 3 and holds the end portion 3a of the outer member 3 and the portion of the electric cable 1 and the leaf spring element 2 led out of the end portion 3a of the outer member 3 firmly within the protector 4.
[0018] The protective device 4 comprises a protective main body (main body) 10 and a cover portion 30. The protective main body 10 comprises a first side surface portion 11, a second side surface portion 12 and a third side surface portion 13. In the example of Fig. 2, the protector main body 10 is U-shaped, with the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13 facing each other, and a surface (lower surface) opposite the first side surface portion 11 as the upper surface is open. The protector main body 10 has a routing space portion 14 formed by the first side surface portion 11, the second side surface portion 12, and the third side surface portion 13. The routing space portion 14 guides the electric wire 1, the leaf spring element 2, and the outer member 3 along the axial direction Y. In this case, the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring element 2 are inserted into the outer member 3 in an overlapping state with the electric wire 1, such that the leaf spring element 2 is located on the protector main body 10 side. Therefore, the electric wire 1 is located in the outer member 3 on the cover portion 30 side.
[0019] The cover section 30 is plate-shaped and is shown in the example by Fig. 2 is attached to a surface (bottom side) facing the first side surface portion 11 of the protector main body 10 to close the above-described wiring space portion 14. In the present embodiment, the cover portion 30 is fixed to the protector main body 10 by being attached to the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13 of the protector main body 10. The cover portion 30 includes a base portion 31, a first fitting socket portion 32, a second fitting socket portion 33, a plurality of first projections 34 and second projections 35, and a pair of fixing pieces 36. When the protector main body 10 and the cover portion 30 are joined together, the base portion 31 closes the wiring space portion 14 and forms the side surface of the protector 4.
[0020] The first fitting base portion 32 and the second fitting base portion 33 are arranged side by side along the axial direction Y on an upper surface (a surface opposite to the laying space portion 14 of the protector main body 10) 31a of the base portion 31. The first fitting base portion 32 is on the side of the insertion opening 4a ( Fig. 1) in the axial direction Y of the protector 4, and the second fitting socket portion 33 is formed on the side of the lead-out opening 4b. The first fitting socket portion 32 and the second fitting socket portion 33 have outer side surfaces that have the same shape as the inner side surfaces of the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13, and are fitted between the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13.In the present embodiment, in a case where the upper surface 31a of the base portion 31 is used as a reference, the upper surface (the surface facing the wiring space portion 14 of the protector main body 10) 32a of the first fitting pedestal portion 32 is formed to be higher in the height direction Z than the upper surface (the surface facing the wiring space portion 14 of the protector main body 10) 33a of the second fitting pedestal portion 33.
[0021] The plurality of first projections 34 and the plurality of second projections 35 are arranged to protrude from the upper surface (the surface facing the laying space portion 14 of the protector main body 10) of the first fitting base portion 32 toward the protector main body 10. As shown in Fig. 5, the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 are interlocked with the outer member 3 through which the routing space portion 14 is passed, to fix the outer member 3 in the protector 4. Since the outer member 3 is formed by meshing resin fibers, the distal ends of the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 penetrate the gaps between the meshes of the outer member 3 to lock the outer member 3. It should be noted that in the present embodiment, the outer member 3 is formed by meshing resin fibers, but it may be formed of, for example, a flexible material (synthetic rubber and the like) as long as the material is interlocked with the distal ends of the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35, or it may be interlocked with the distal ends of the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 in grooves of a corrugated pipe.
[0022] In the present embodiment, the first protrusion 34 is formed on the insertion opening 4a side in the axial direction Y of the protector 4, and the second protrusion 35 is formed on the middle side in the axial direction Y with respect to the first protrusion 34. Moreover, the first protrusion 34 is formed on the outer side in the width direction X of the protector 4, and the second protrusion 35 is formed on the middle side (inner side) in the width direction X with respect to the first protrusion 34. Moreover, among the plurality of first protrusions 34 and the plurality of second protrusions 35, the height position of the distal end with respect to the height direction Z of the protector 4 is different depending on the formation position of each protrusion.
[0023] In the example of Fig. 2, the height positions of the distal ends of the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 are different with respect to the height direction Z, and for example, in a case where the leaf spring member 2 in which the routing space portion 14 is guided is used as a reference, the height position of the distal end of the first protrusion 34 is lower than that of the second protrusion 35. As described above, the height positions of the distal ends of the plurality of first protrusions 34 and the second protrusions 35 with respect to the height direction Z of the protector 4 are different depending on the formation positions of the respective protrusions, so that, for example, even in a case where an excess portion such as wrinkles or slack is formed in the circumferential direction of the outer member 3, the respective components can be properly joined together. Moreover, even in a case where the outer member 3 is pulled, the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35, which have different heights, distribute the stress and prevent excessive stress from being applied to these protrusions or the outer member 3.
[0024] The pair of fastening pieces 36 are arranged side by side in the width direction X with the first fitting socket portion 32 therebetween, and are erected on the upper surface 31a of the base portion 31. Moreover, the pair of fastening pieces 36 are formed on the second fitting socket portion 33 side of the first fitting socket portion 32 in the axial direction Y. These fastening pieces 36 are fitted into concave portions 15 formed on each inner surface of the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13 of the protector main body 10.
[0025] On the other hand, the protective main body 10 comprises, as shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the concave portion 15, a projection portion 16, a regulating portion 17, and a concave housing portion 18 formed on the inner surface facing the laying space portion 14. The projection portion 16 is on the side of the lead-out opening 4b ( Fig. 1) in the axial direction Y of the protective device 4 and protrudes towards the cover section 30. As shown in Fig. 5, the projection portion 16 is shaped to face an upper surface 33a of the second fitting socket portion 33 of the cover portion 30 and enclose a part of the electric wire 1 that has been led out from the end portion 3a of the outer member 3 and laid in the laying space portion 14 between the projection portion and the upper surface 33a of the second fitting socket portion 33.
[0026] In the present embodiment, the electric wire 1 is arranged more on the cover portion 30 side than the leaf spring member 2, and the projection portion 16 protrudes from the protector main body 10 toward the cover portion 30. Therefore, in a case where the electric wire 1 is clamped between the projection portion 16 and the upper surface 33a of the second fitting base portion 33, the electric wire 1 can be easily separated from the leaf spring member 2. Therefore, for example, the electric wire 1 can be prevented from coming into contact with the end portion of the leaf spring member 2, and the electric wire 1 is less likely to be damaged. As shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the projection 16 has a curved surface that faces the electric wire 1 in the axial cross section. Therefore, in a case where the electric wire 1 is clamped between the projection portion 16 and the upper surface 33a of the second fitting base portion 33, it is possible to prevent damage to the electric wire 1 due to the clamping.
[0027] As in Fig. 5, the concave portion 15 is formed between the protrusion portion 16 and the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 provided on the cover portion 30 in the axial direction Y. The concave portion 15 is formed on each inner surface of the second side surface portion 12 and the third side surface portion 13, and is engaged with the convex end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 to position the end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 in the axial direction Y. In a case where the wire harness WH is assembled, the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 inserted into the outer member 3 are arranged in the routing space portion 14, and the convex end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 is engaged with the concave portion 15 of the protector main body 10.As a result, positioning the end portion 21 of the leaf spring element 2 in the axial direction Y becomes easy, and the electric wire 1, the leaf spring element 2, and the outer member 3 can be mounted on the protector main body 10. Furthermore, the pair of fastening pieces 36 provided on the cover portion 30 are fitted into the concave portion 15. As a result, by assembling the cover portion 30 with the protector main body 10, the end portion 21 of the leaf spring element 2 is prevented from detaching from the concave portion 15, and the leaf spring element 2 can be fixed to the protector 4.
[0028] As in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the regulating portion 17 supports both end portions in the width direction X of the guided leaf spring element 2 via the outer member 3 and regulates the height position of the leaf spring element 2 in the protector 4 with respect to the height direction Z.
[0029] In the present embodiment, as shown in Fig.As shown in Figure 1, the leaf spring member 2, together with the electric wire 1 and the outer member 3, is bent into a substantially U-shape outside the protector 4. That is, the leaf spring member 2 is folded back in the axial direction Y outside the protector 4 and extends below the protector 4 in the height direction Z. Therefore, a preload force generated by bending acts on the end portion of the leaf spring member 2, and the leaf spring member 2 in the protector main body 10 (protector 4) is constantly pressed against the regulating portion 17 by the preload force. As a result, the height position of the leaf spring member 2 in the protector 4 can be adjusted to the position (reference position) of the regulating portion 17.
[0030] The housing concave portion 18 is a concave portion disposed between the pair of regulating portions 17 and shaped to be separated from the leaf spring member 2 in the height direction Z with respect to the regulating portion 17.
[0031] Accordingly, for example, in a case where an excess portion such as wrinkles or sagging is generated in the circumferential direction of the outer member 3, the excess portion is accommodated in the concave housing portion 18, so that the height position of the leaf spring member 2 can be adjusted to the reference position regardless of the excess portion and each member can be mounted in an appropriate positional relationship.
[0032] The wire harness WH according to the present embodiment includes: the electric wire 1, which is flexible; the leaf spring member 2, which extends along the electric wire 1, regulates the path of the electric wire 1, and has flexibility; the outer member 3, through which the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 are inserted, the outer member 3 having flexibility; and the protector 4, which firmly holds the end portion 3a of the outer member 3 and a portion of the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2, which are led out of the end portion 3a of the outer member 3.The protector 4 includes the protector main body 10 having the routing space portion 14 in which the electric wire 1, the leaf spring member 2, and the outer member 3 are routed along the axial direction Y; the cover portion 30 attached to the protector main body 10 to close the routing space portion 14; the projection portion 16 projecting from the protector main body 10 toward the cover portion 30 and clamping a part of the electric wire 1 between the projection portion 16 and the second fitting socket portion 33 of the cover portion 30; and the plurality of first projections 34 and second projections 35 projecting from the cover portion 30 toward the protector main body 10 and locking the outer member 3.
[0033] According to this configuration, the electric wire 1 and the outer member 3 are collectively fixed to the protector 4 by a simple fixing operation of the cover portion 30 to the protector main body 10 in a state where the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring member 2 inserted into the outer member 3 are arranged in the wiring space portion 14. Therefore, the workload for fixing the electric wire 1, the leaf spring member 2, and the outer member 3 to the protector 4 can be simplified.
[0034] Moreover, in the wire harness WH according to the present embodiment, the leaf spring member 2 is formed in a band-like shape and has a convex shape in which the end portion 21 relatively protrudes in the width direction X intersecting the axial direction Y, and in the protector main body 10, the concave portion 15 that engages with the convex end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 and positions the end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2 is formed between the protrusion portion 16 and the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35 in the axial direction Y.According to this configuration, the electric wire 1 and the leaf spring element 2 inserted into the outer member 3 are arranged in the guide space portion 14, and the convex end portion 21 of the leaf spring element 2 is engaged with the concave portion 15 of the protector main body 10 in such a manner that the positioning of the end portion 21 of the leaf spring element 2 can be easily performed. Therefore, the electric wire 1, the leaf spring element 2, and the outer member 3 can be mounted on the protector main body 10.
[0035] Furthermore, in the wire harness WH according to the present embodiment, the outer member 3 is formed into a tubular shape by meshing insulating fibers, and the outer member 3 is locked by the distal ends of the plurality of first protrusions 34 and second protrusions 35 inserted into the gaps of the meshes of the outer member 3. According to this configuration, the outer member 3 can be fixed to the protector 4 by a simple operation of attaching the cover portion 30 provided with the plurality of first protrusions 34 and second protrusions 35 to the protector main body 10.
[0036] Furthermore, the protrusion portion 16 is provided on the protector main body 10, and a surface of the protrusion portion 16 facing a part of the electric wire 1 is curved. According to this configuration, the electric wire 1 can be easily separated from the leaf spring member 2 when it is clamped between the protrusion portion 16 and the upper surface 33a of the second fitting base portion 33. Therefore, for example, it is possible to prevent the electric wire 1 from coming into contact with the end portion 21 of the leaf spring member 2, and the electric wire 1 is less likely to be damaged. In addition, since the surface of the protrusion portion 16 facing the electric wire 1 is curved, it is possible to prevent damage to the electric wire 1 due to the pinching in a case where the electric wire 1 is pinched between the protrusion portion 16 and the upper surface 33a of the second fitting base portion 33.
[0037] It should be noted that the wire harness WH according to the above-described embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope defined in the claims. For example, in the present embodiment, the protector main body 10 is formed with the protrusion portion 16 enclosing a part of the electric wire 1, but the present embodiment is not limited thereto, and the protrusion portion 16 may protrude from the cover portion 30 toward the protector main body 10. Moreover, the first protrusions 34 and the second protrusions 35 for locking the outer member 3, although provided on the cover portion 30, may be provided from the protector main body 10 toward the cover portion 30.
[0038] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the outer member 3 was described as being formed into a tubular shape by intermeshing insulating fibers, but the present embodiment is not limited to this, as long as the outer member 3 can be interlocked with the first protrusion 34 and the second protrusion 35, and, for example, a rubber-based material having flexibility can be used. Furthermore, like a corrugated tube, a plurality of groove portions may be formed that engage with the distal ends of the protrusions.
[0039] Moreover, in the present embodiment, the reference for the height positions of the distal ends of the first projection 34 and the second projection 35 with respect to the height direction Z is the leaf spring member 2, but the present embodiment is not limited thereto, and for example, the upper surface 32a of the first fitting base portion 32 of the cover portion 30 may be used as a reference.
[0040] In this case, the height position of the distal end of the first projection 34 is higher than the height position of the second projection 35.
[0041] In addition, in the present embodiment, the sunroof 100 has been described as a movable body formed with the wire harness WH, but it goes without saying that the wire harness WH may be attached to, for example, a sliding door.
[0042] With the wire harness of the present embodiment, the work for attaching the electric wire, the leaf spring member, and the outer member to the protector can be simplified.
