AI Technical Summary
Watches with multiple functions and pushers require significant space, numerous components, and are prone to incorrect operation due to complex arrangements and water ingress issues.
A single pusher in a watch is designed to switch between multiple functions via adjustable positions, using lever arrangements and a slider mechanism to actuate different watch functions, reducing the number of pushers and components while ensuring easy operation.
This design minimizes component size, installation space, and simplifies operation by allowing a single pusher to control multiple functions, enhancing usability and reducing water ingress risks.

Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a watch with an actuating element and a pusher, wherein the actuating element is adjustable in at least two positions, wherein in a first position of the actuating element the pusher is effectively actuated from a neutral position to a first function of the watch via a first lever arrangement.
[0002] In watches with a crown and one or more pushers, it is customary to assign a single, specific function to each pusher. For example, a pusher used as a month corrector only ever corrects the month of a calendar display. A start / stop pusher on a chronograph switches the stopwatch mode between stopped and started time measurement.
[0003] Watches with multiple functions can have a large number of pushers. For example, a stopwatch with a perpetual calendar can have up to seven pushers. This results in a large number of components and a significant amount of installation space required, a confusing arrangement of the pushers, and a risk of incorrect operation. Furthermore, greater effort is needed to seal each pusher against water ingress.
[0004] Watches of the type mentioned above are known from EP 4 270 114 A1, DE 18 06 686 B and US 2008 0159 081 A1.
[0005] The object of the invention is therefore to create a watch with an actuating element and a pusher of the type mentioned above, which avoids these disadvantages and allows for switching of more functions than the number of pushers with fewer pushers.
[0006] This problem is solved according to the invention by the fact that in a second position of the actuating element of the pusher, a second function of the watch can be effectively activated via a second lever arrangement, wherein the actuating element is axially adjustable between its first position and its second position.
[0007] This design allows the same pusher to be effectively switched from one function to a second function via the second position of the actuating element. In other words, one pusher controls two functions of the watch. This reduces the component size and installation space required. The design is simple and space-saving.
[0008] A further reduction in the number of pushers can be achieved by making additional functions of the watch effectively operable through further positions of the actuating element.
[0009] In a multi-functional configuration, the actuating element can be an axially displaceable winding shaft, through which, in addition to effectively switching the pushers in a winding position, the mainspring barrel of the watch can be wound and / or the hand position of the watch can be changed in a hand-setting position.
[0010] To avoid having to actively reset the push button after a function has been effectively activated, the push button can automatically return to its neutral position if it is not pressed.
[0011] In a simple and space-saving manner, a switching lever pivotable about a switching lever axis can be pivoted from the actuating element into a first and a second switching position, wherein in the first switching position the first lever arrangement of the first function and in the second switching position the second lever arrangement of the second function of the clock is effectively actuated.
[0012] In this arrangement, a slider can be adjustable between a first adjustment position and a second adjustment position on the switching lever, through which an effective connection between the push button and the first lever arrangement can be established in the first adjustment position and through which an effective connection between the push button and the second lever arrangement can be established in the second adjustment position.
[0013] Switching from one function to a second function of the clock is possible because the slider has a transmission element that is positioned in the first adjustment position between the pusher and a first actuation element of the first lever arrangement, and that is positioned in the second adjustment position between the pusher and a second actuation element of the second lever arrangement.
[0014] The first lever arrangement can have a first lever that pivots about a first lever axis, and the second lever arrangement can have a second lever that pivots about a second lever axis.
[0015] An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below. It shows Fig. 1 A top view of an actuating mechanism of a watch in the unactuated position with a first pusher and a second pusher not pressed. Fig. 2 a top view of the actuating mechanism according to Fig. 1 in the unactuated position with the first push button pressed and the first function effectively operable, and with the second push button pressed and the second function effectively operable Fig. 3 a top view of the actuating mechanism according to Fig. 1 in the actuated position with the first push button pressed and the second push button not pressed Fig. 4 a top view of the actuation mechanism according to Fig. 1 in actuated position with first push button pressed and third function effectively operable and second push button pressed with fourth function effectively operable.
[0016] The section of a clock shown in the figures depicts a winding shaft 1 which can be axially displaced from a neutral position into a first position and a second position.
[0017] A two-armed angle lever 2 with a first lever arm 4 and a second lever arm 5 can be pivoted from the elevator shaft 1 about an angle lever axis 3 from a neutral position into a first and a second position.
[0018] The free end of the first lever arm 4 allows a switching lever 7, which can be pivoted about a first switching lever axis 6, to be pivoted into a first switching position and a second switching position.
[0019] A slide 8 is movable between a first adjustment position and a second adjustment position by the switching lever 7. In the first adjustment position, an operative connection is established between a first push button 9 and a lever 14 of a first lever assembly 10 about a first lever axis 13, and in the second adjustment position, an operative connection is established between the first push button 9 and a lever 16 of a second lever assembly 11 about a second lever axis 15.
[0020] For this purpose, a transmission element 12 arranged on the slide 8 is positioned so that in the first adjustment position it is positioned in the direction of action between the first push button 9 and a first actuation element 17 of the first lever arrangement 10.
[0021] By pivoting the first lever 14, it acts on a switching element (not shown) of a first function of the clock.
[0022] By pivoting the switching lever 7 and thus moving the slider 8 from its first adjustment position to its second adjustment position, the transmission element 12 is repositioned so that it is now positioned in the direction of action between the first push button 9 and a second actuation element 18 of the second lever arrangement 11.
[0023] By pivoting the second lever 16, it acts on a switching element of a second function of the clock (not shown).
[0024] When the first pusher 9 is activated from its unactivated position and presses against the transmission element 12 of the slider 8, it actuates either the actuation element 17 or 18, depending on which is currently in the direction of action of the first pusher 9 and transmission element 12. This effectively activates the function of the clock that is assigned to the respective actuation element 17 or 18.
[0025] Through the free end of the second lever arm 5, a switching lever 7' which can be pivoted about a first switching lever axis 6' into a first switching position and a second switching position.
[0026] A slide 8' is movable between a first adjustment position and a second adjustment position by the switching lever 7'. In the first adjustment position, an operative connection is established between a second push button 19 and a lever 14' of a first lever assembly 10' about a first lever axis 13', and in the second adjustment position, an operative connection is established between the second push button 19 and a lever 16' of a second lever assembly 11' about a second lever axis 15'.
[0027] For this purpose, a transmission element 12' arranged on the slide 8' is positioned so that in the first adjustment position it is positioned in the direction of action between the second push button 19 and a first actuation element 17' of the first lever arrangement 10'.
[0028] By pivoting the first lever 14', it acts on a switching element of a third function of the clock (not shown).
[0029] By pivoting the switching lever 7' and thus moving the slider 8' from its first adjusting position to its second adjusting position, the transmission element 12' is repositioned so that it is now positioned in the direction of action between the second pusher 19 and a second actuating element 18' of the second lever arrangement 11'. By pivoting the second lever 16', it acts on a switching element (not shown) of a fourth function of the clock.
[0030] When the second pusher 19 is activated from its unactivated position and presses against the transmission element 12' of the slider 8', it actuates either the actuation element 17' or 18', depending on which is currently in the direction of action of the second pusher 19 and transmission element 12'. This effectively activates the function of the clock that is assigned to the respective actuation element 17 or 18.
