CROSS-REFERENCE TO THE CORRESPONDING APPLICATION
[0001] This application claims priority to Taiwanese patent application No. 112118753, filed on May 19, 2023, which is hereby incorporated by reference. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Technical field of the invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a damper and a method for manufacturing the same, in particular to a damper having conductive structures with a wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same. 2. The state of the art
[0003] In a moving-coil loudspeaker, such as those described in DE 20 2020 106 969 U1 or in the Wikipedia article "Loudspeaker" https: / / de.wikipedia.org / wiki / Lautsprecher in the version last edited by Millbart on April 24, 2023, at 5:08 p.m., conductive structures are used to transfer alternating current with energy to a voice coil, and a damper is used to hold the voice coil in the correct position within a gap in the iron core of a magnet, ensuring that the voice coil moves back and forth along its axis when driven. The conductive structures are arranged on a main body of the damper, and the main body can connect the conductive structures, thereby increasing the fatigue strength of the conductive structures without making them easily fractured.
[0004] The conductive structures can be attached to the main body of the damper with sewing thread. However, manually operating a sewing machine is required to sew and attach the conductive structures to the surface of the main body of the damper with the sewing thread. Furthermore, the steps are quite complicated.
[0005] Although the conductive structures are sandwiched between two main bodies, the position of the conductive structures shifts away from the optimal position during the thermoforming process, compromising the combined resonance efficiency of the damper, voice coil, and diaphragm. Furthermore, the displacement conditions of the conductive structures' positions are different in each damper, resulting in slightly different sound quality between the respective speakers. Furthermore, the steps are quite complicated.
[0006] The conductive structures are harder than the warp and weft threads, and the elasticity and toughness of the conductive structures are inferior to those of the warp and weft threads. Therefore, the areas through which the conductive structures pass are harder than other areas of the damper body, and the elasticity and toughness of the areas through which the conductive structures pass are inferior to those of other areas of the damper body. Therefore, the hardness, elasticity, and toughness of the damper are uneven, resulting in uneven elastic resilience and fatigue resistance of the damper, which can easily cause the damper to deform, affecting the output sound quality of the speaker.
[0007] The cross-section of conventional conductive structures is circular, and the circular conductive structure is usually formed by interlacing multiple metal filaments. The central portion of each metal filament is covered by other metal filaments, making it difficult for the generated heat to dissipate and resulting in heat buildup, which can easily cause the circular conductive structure to overheat.
[0008] In addition, the circular conductive structure is relatively thick and rises sharply from the surface of the main body of the damper, which causes the circular conductive structure to be easily crushed or even broken by the molding tool.
[0009] In addition, the ends of the circular conductive structure formed by interlacing are in a state of spreading (spread out), and these ends cannot be easily connected to the contact point of the connecting terminal and the coil of the voice coil in this state.
[0010] In addition, the adhesive ages and loses its viscosity, so that the ends of the circular conductive structure spread or spread apart slightly under mechanical stress in an expanding direction and thereby detach from the contact points of the connectors and the coil of the voice coil.
[0011] In addition, the usual metallic thread is made entirely of metal, so the cost is relatively high.
[0012] In addition, these metal threads must comprise at least twenty threads in order to be interwoven into a conductive structure, so the manufacturing costs are relatively high. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The invention is based on the object of providing a damper having conductive structures with a wide, thin and flat shape, and a method for producing the same, in which weft threads are used to attach the multifilament threads, so that a sewing thread is not required at all.

[0016] Another object of the present invention is to provide a damper having conductive structures of wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the shape of the conductive structures and the weaving method for the metal threads allow the metal threads to be exposed to the outside without being covered by other metal threads.
[0017] Another object of the present invention is to provide a damper having conductive structures with a wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same having a lower risk of crushing the conductive structures.
[0018] Another object of the present invention is to provide a damper having conductive structures of wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein due to the solder parts, the ends of the conductive structures can be connected to the terminals and the voice coil without spreading apart.
[0019] Another object of the present invention is to provide a damper having conductive structures of wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the cost is reduced and a certain degree of electrical conductivity is maintained due to the composition of the metal filaments.
[0020] Another object of the present invention is to provide a damper having conductive structures of wide, thin and flat shape and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein in the weaving process for the metal threads, a multifilament thread is woven with a minimum number of threads.
[0021] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a damper having conductive structures of a wide, thin, and flat shape, comprising the steps of: forming a plurality of metal filaments by covering or coating an outer surface of a core filament with a metal layer for each metal filament; weaving multifilament filaments of a wide, thin, and flat shape by interweaving a plurality of first interwoven parts of the plurality of metal filaments with a plurality of second interwoven parts of the plurality of metal filaments for each multifilament filament; wherein both ends of each of the first interwoven parts are respectively connected to one of the second interwoven parts, the first interwoven parts being parallel to each other, the second interwoven parts being parallel to each other, and an extending direction of the first interwoven parts being different from that of the second interwoven parts;Arranging a plurality of warp threads and at least one of the multifilament threads spaced apart from one another, wherein the warp threads and the at least one multifilament thread run straight and are parallel to one another; weaving a base material by interweaving a plurality of weft threads with the warp threads and the at least one multifilament thread; impregnating the base material in a resin solution; drying the base material; simultaneously thermoforming a base body of a damper on the base material and at least two conductive structures with a wide, thin, and flat shape on the at least one multifilament thread; and simultaneously separating the base body from the base material and the at least two conductive structures from the at least one multifilament thread.
[0022] In some embodiments, in the step of arranging the warp threads and the at least one multifilament thread spaced apart from each other, a distance between the at least one multifilament thread and the warp threads on both sides thereof is greater than a distance between the warp threads;wherein, in the step of weaving the base material, a first flexible adjustment region is formed between portions of the weft threads on a first side of the at least one multifilament thread and portions of the weft threads on the warp thread closest to the first side of the at least one multifilament thread, wherein a second flexible adjustment region is formed between portions of the weft threads on a second side of the at least one multifilament thread and portions of the weft threads on the warp thread closest to the second side of the at least one multifilament thread, wherein the first flexible adjustment region and the second flexible adjustment region are of equal width;
[0023] In some embodiments, after the step of separating the base body from the base material, the method further comprises: soldering with tin at both ends of the conductive structures to form at least four solder pieces.
[0024] In some embodiments, the core thread material is cotton.
[0025] In some embodiments, seven of the metal threads are provided.
[0026] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a damper having conductive structures with a wide, thin, and flat shape, comprising: a main body and at least two conductive structures. The main body is formed by weaving a plurality of warp threads and a plurality of weft threads. The conductive structures have a wide, thin, and flat shape, and the conductive structures and the warp threads are arranged at a distance from each other, run straight and parallel to each other, and are woven with the weft threads. Each of the conductive structures is a multifilament thread with a wide, thin, and flat shape, and the multifilament thread is formed by weaving a plurality of first interwoven parts of a plurality of metal threads and a plurality of second interwoven parts of a plurality of metal threads. Each of the metal threads is coated orcovering an outer surface of a core thread with a metal layer, wherein both ends of each of the first interwoven parts are respectively connected to one of the second interwoven parts, wherein the first interwoven parts are parallel to each other, wherein the second interwoven parts are parallel to each other and an extension direction of the first interwoven parts is different from that of the second interwoven parts.
[0027] In some embodiments, a distance between the at least one multifilament thread and the warp threads on both sides thereof is greater than a distance between the warp threads, wherein a first flexible adjustment region is formed between portions of the weft threads on a first side of the at least one multifilament thread and portions of the weft threads on the warp thread closest to the first side of the at least one multifilament thread, wherein a second elastic adjustment region is formed between portions of the weft threads on a second side of the at least one multifilament thread and portions of the weft threads on the warp thread closest to the second side of the at least one multifilament thread.
[0028] In some embodiments, the damper further comprises at least four solder pieces each formed at both ends of the conductive structures by soldering with tin.
[0029] In some embodiments, the core thread material is cotton.
[0030] In some embodiments, seven of the metal threads are provided.
[0031] The advantages of the present invention are that by using the weft threads to fix the multifilament threads, a sewing thread can be omitted, so that the manufacturing steps are reduced and the manufacturing costs of the damper are lowered.
[0032] In addition, the multifilament threads are fixed by the weft threads so that the multifilament threads do not shift during thermoforming and the conductive structures are in the optimal position after cutting.
[0033] By jointly adjusting the hardness, elasticity, and toughness of the regions through which the conductive structures pass through by the first flexible adjustment region and the second flexible adjustment region, the regions through which the conductive structures pass are softer, more elastic, and tougher, making them comparable to the hardness, elasticity, and toughness of the other regions of the main body.
[0034] In addition, the conductive structures have a wide, thin, and flat shape, and due to the weaving process for the metal filaments, the metal filaments are exposed to the outside without being covered by other metal filaments, so that the generated heat can be easily dissipated and there is no problem of heat accumulation, so that the conductive structures do not overheat.
[0035] In addition, the conductive structures are wide, thin and flat and rise only slightly from the surface of the mold, so the risk of being crushed by the mold is relatively low.
[0036] In addition, the solder part prevents the ends of the conductive structures from spreading apart, so that the ends can be connected directly to the contact points of the connection terminals and the coil of the voice coil.
[0037] It is worth noting that the inner layer of each metal filament is a core filament and the outer layer of each metal filament is a metal layer, thus maintaining a certain degree of electrical conductivity at a reduced cost.
[0038] It is also worth mentioning that due to the weaving process for the metal threads, only a number of seven metal threads are needed to weave a multifilament thread, which is then cut into two conductive structures, so the manufacturing cost is relatively low. Fig. 10 is a schematic view of step S80 of the method according to the invention. Fig. Figure 11 is a schematic view of step S90 of the method according to the invention. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a damper with conductive structures having a wide, thin, and flat shape, comprising the steps S10 to S90 explained below:
[0041] In step S10, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, a plurality of metal filaments 10 are formed by coating or covering an outer surface of a core filament 12 with a metal layer 11 for each metal filament 10. The core filament 12 may be made of a non-conductive material, such as cotton, which is lower in cost than the metal layer 11 and offers a good advantage for supporting the metal layer 11. The metal layer 11 may be made of a material that exhibits electrical conductivity, such as copper, aluminum, silver, other metals, or alloys.
[0042] In step S20, as in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, multifilament yarns 20 are woven in a wide, thin, and flat shape by interweaving a plurality of first interwoven portions 13 of the plurality of metal yarns 10 with a plurality of second interwoven portions 14 of the plurality of metal yarns 10 for each multifilament yarn 20, both ends of each of the first interwoven portions 13 being connected to one of the second interwoven portions 14, the first interwoven portions 13 being parallel to each other, the second interwoven portions 14 being parallel to each other, and an extending direction of the first interwoven portions 13 being different from that of the second interwoven portions 14. Preferably, seven of the metal yarns 10 are provided.
[0043] In step S30, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 5, a plurality of warp threads 30 and two multifilament threads 20 are arranged spaced from each other on a weaving machine (not shown), wherein both ends of the warp threads 30 and the multifilament threads 20 are fixed on the weaving machine so that the warp threads 30 and the multifilament threads 20 are straight and parallel to each other, wherein a distance D1 between each multifilament thread 20 and the warp threads 30 on both sides thereof is greater than a distance D2 between the warp threads 30.
[0044] In step S40, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 6, a base material 50 is woven by interweaving a plurality of weft threads 40 with the warp threads 30 and the multifilament threads 20 using the weaving machine, wherein a first flexible adjustment region 61 is formed between portions of the weft threads 40 on a first side 21 of each multifilament thread 20 and portions of the weft threads 40 on the warp thread 30 that are closest to the first side 21 of each multifilament thread 20, and wherein a second flexible adjustment region 62 is formed between portions of the weft threads 40 on a second side 22 of each multifilament thread 20 and portions of the weft threads 40 on the warp thread 30 that are closest to the second side 22 of each multifilament thread 20.
[0045] In step S50, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 7, the base of the base material 50 is impregnated in a resin solution 71 in a resin tank 70 so that the multifilament threads 20, the warp threads 30 and the weft threads 40 adsorb the resin and are bonded to the resin.
[0046] In step S60, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 8, the base material 50 is dried by using the temperature of a first heating plate 81 and a second heating plate 82 to remove the moisture and volatile substances in the resin on the base material 50, and the resin penetrates into the base material 50 and adheres to the multifilament yarns 20, the warp yarns 30, and the weft yarns 40 to form a solid resin layer (not shown).
[0047] In step S70, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 9, the base material 50 is arranged between a first forming tool 91 and a second forming tool 92 in such a way that the multifilament threads 20 are aligned with two grooves 911 of the first forming tool 91 and two grooves 921 of the second forming tool 92. When the first forming tool 91 and the second forming tool 92 are mated, a pressing surface 912 of the first forming tool 91 and a forming surface 922 of the second forming tool 92 jointly press the base material 50 to form a plurality of shaft sections 211 (see Fig. 10) and a pre-punched center hole portion 212 of a main body 210 of a damper 200, wherein each wave portion 211 has a crest 2111 and a valley 2112. At the same time, the multifilament threads 20 are arranged in the grooves 911 of the first forming tool 91 and the grooves 921 of the second forming tool 92, and the pressing surface 912 and the forming surface 922 jointly pressurize the multifilament threads 20 to connect two conductive structures 220 having a wide, thin, and flat shape (see Fig. 10). The first mold 91 and the second mold 92 are heated to 190 to 270°C using a heater (not shown), so that the resin is softened due to the high temperature of the first mold 91 and the second mold 92, so that the resin melts and then fills the gaps. Thus, the respective parts of the resin are bonded together to form a final morphology of the solid resin layer, so that the surfaces of the warp threads 30, the weft threads 40, and the conductive structures 220 of the main body 210 are coated.
[0048] In step S80, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 10, the base body 210 is separated from the base material 50 and the conductive structures 220 are separated from the multifilament threads 20, simultaneously by jointly using the first cutting tool 110 and the second cutting tool 120.
[0049] In step S90, as in Fig. 1 and Fig. 11, the conductive structures 220 are soldered with tin at both ends using a soldering tool 130 to form eight solder pieces 230.
[0050] Fig. 12 is a perspective view of the damper 200 of the present invention. As shown in Fig. 12 and in connection with Fig. 2 to 11, the present invention provides a damper 200 with conductive structures 220 having a wide, thin and flat shape, comprising a main body 210, four conductive structures 220 and eight solder pieces 230.
[0051] As in Fig. 6, the main body 210 is formed by weaving a plurality of warp threads 30 and a plurality of weft threads 40.
[0052] As in Fig. 6, each of the conductive structures 220 has a wide, thin and flat shape, wherein the conductive structures 220 and the warp threads 30 are arranged at a distance from each other, run straight and parallel to each other and are interwoven with the weft threads 40. In particular, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, each of the conductive structures 220 is a multifilament thread 20 having a wide, thin and flat shape, and the multifilament thread 20 is formed by interweaving a plurality of first interwoven parts 13 of a plurality of metal threads 10 and a plurality of second interwoven parts 14 of the plurality of metal threads 10. As shown in Fig. 2, each of the metal threads 10 is formed by coating an outer surface of a core thread 12 with a metal layer 11. As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, both ends of each of the first interwoven parts 13 are respectively connected to one of the second interwoven parts 14, the first interwoven parts 13 are parallel to each other, the second interwoven parts 14 are parallel to each other, and an extending direction of the first interwoven parts 13 is different from that of the second interwoven parts 14.
[0053] As in Fig. 12, the solder parts 230 are formed at both ends of the conductive structures 220 by soldering with tin.
[0054] Fig. 13 is a perspective view of a loudspeaker 300 according to the invention. Fig. 14 is an exploded view of the loudspeaker 300 according to the invention. Fig. 15 is a cross-sectional view of the speaker 300 according to the invention. As in Fig. 13, Fig. 14 and Fig.15, the present invention provides a loudspeaker 300 comprising a speaker body 310, a voice coil 320, and the above-mentioned damper 200. The base of the speaker body 310 includes a base 311, a ring magnet assembly 312, an outer frame 313, a diaphragm 314, a cover 315, a suspension 316, and a plurality of terminals 317. The base 311 is configured such that the ring magnet 312 is disposed on the base 311. The voice coil 320 is configured to include a coil 321 in the ring magnet assembly 312. The outer frame 313 is configured to be disposed above the magnetic circuit 312. The diaphragm 314 is fixed to the voice coil 320 with a sleeve. The cover 315 is formed and arranged to cover a center hole of the diaphragm 314.The suspension 316 is configured to lie between the upper edge of the diaphragm 314 and the outer frame 313. Each terminal 317 is configured to be connected to the outer frame 313 and to have a contact point. The damper 200 is provided with a sleeve on the voice coil 320. The two ends of the conductive structures 220 are respectively connected to the contact points of the terminals 317 and the coil 321 of the voice coil 320 by the solder parts 230.
[0055] In summary, in the method of the present invention, the weft threads 40 are used to fix the multifilament threads 20, so that a sewing thread is not required at all, thereby reducing the manufacturing steps and lowering the manufacturing cost of the damper 200.
[0056] Furthermore, in the method according to the invention, the multifilament threads 20 are fixed with the help of the weft threads 40, so that the multifilament threads 20 are firmly fixed in the optimal position. This ensures that the multifilament threads 20 do not shift during thermoforming. After cutting the threads 20, it is ensured that the conductive structures 220 are in the optimal position, thereby improving the combined resonance efficiency of the damper 200, the voice coil 320, and the diaphragm 314, so that the sound quality of each loudspeaker 300 in series production is consistently good and of high quality.
[0057] Furthermore, the conductive structures 220 are harder than the warp threads 30 and the weft threads 40, and the elasticity and toughness of the conductive structures 220 are inferior to those of the warp threads 30 and the weft threads 40, so that the regions through which the conductive structures 220 pass are harder than other regions of the main body 210, and the elasticity and toughness of the regions through which the conductive structures 220 pass are inferior to those of other regions of the main body 210.The hardness, elasticity, and toughness of the regions of the damper 200 according to the invention through which the conductive structures 220 extend can be adjusted jointly by the first flexible adjustment region 61 and the second flexible adjustment region 62 so that the regions through which the conductive structures 220 extend become softer, more elastic, and tougher, thereby making them comparable to the hardness, elasticity, and toughness of the other regions of the main body 210. Therefore, the damper 200 has uniform hardness, elasticity, and toughness, has uniform elastic resilience and fatigue resistance, and is not easily deformed and brittle, thereby improving the output sound quality of the loudspeaker 300.
[0058] Furthermore, the conductive structures 220 have a wide, thin, and flat shape, and due to the weaving method for the metal filaments 10, the top and bottom surfaces of the first woven part 13 and the second woven part 14 of each metal filament 10 are all exposed to the outside without being covered by other metal filaments 10, so that the generated heat can be easily dissipated and there is no problem of heat accumulation, so that the conductive structures 220 do not overheat.
[0059] Furthermore, the conductive structures 220 have a wide, thin, and flat shape and protrude only slightly from the surface of the main body 210, so that the risk of them being crushed by the first mold 91 and the second mold 92 is relatively low. For safety reasons, both the first mold 91 and the second mold 92 are formed with a plurality of grooves 911, 921 that can protect the conductive structures 220 and ensure that the conductive structures 220 are not crushed by the first mold 91 and the second mold 92. Since the conductive structures 220 protrude only slightly from the surface of the main body 210, corresponding to the grooves 911, 921, the molds do not need to be drilled too deeply, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
[0060] Furthermore, the solder pieces 230 can not only prevent the ends of the conductive structures 220 from separating (spreading apart), but can also be directly connected to the contact points of the terminals 317 and the coil 321 of the voice coil 320. Even during continuous use, the advantage of the solder pieces 230 remains unchanged, and the ends of the conductive structures 220 are not separated from the contact points of the terminals 317 and the coil 321 of the voice coil 320.
[0061] It is worth mentioning that the inner layer of each metal filament 10 is a core filament 12 and the outer layer of each metal filament 10 is a metal layer, which not only reduces the cost but also maintains a certain degree of electrical conductivity.
[0062] It is also worth mentioning that due to the weaving method for the metal threads 10, only a number of seven metal threads (minimum number) are needed to weave a multifilament thread 20, which is then cut into two conductive structures 220, so that the manufacturing cost is relatively low.
[0063] The above-mentioned embodiments are only preferred embodiments for explaining the present invention, the object being not to limit the present invention in any way, so that all modifications or changes relating to the present invention and made in the same spirit of the present invention should be included in the claimed scope of the present invention.
