[0003] US 2021 / 0186283 A discloses a brush roller for a floor cleaning device.
[0004] US 2021 / 0204780 A discloses a cleaning system with a suction shaft, a current sensor and a slurry fluid tank.
[0005] CN 114569020 A relates to a multifunctional surface cleaning machine.
[0006] CN 115349784 A, CN 218009571 U and CN 218474551 U each concern cleaning machines.
[0007] The invention is based on the object of providing a floor cleaning machine of the type mentioned above, which can be operated and used by an operator in a simple manner.
[0008] This object is achieved according to the invention in the floor cleaning machine mentioned at the outset in that the housing has an upper side facing the guide handle and a transverse side oriented transversely to the upper side and bordering the upper side, and that a carrying handle for carrying the floor cleaning machine is arranged on the upper side and on the transverse side.
[0009] The carrying handle on the housing allows the operator to carry the floor cleaning machine, especially when not in use. The carrying handle provides at least two different carrying options for the operator. The operator can grasp and carry the floor cleaning machine from the top of the housing or from the side, which is typically the rear.
[0010] The particularly multifunctional carrying handle is easy to construct and thus opens up a wider range of possible uses.
[0011] In principle, the carrying handle can also be used to hang the floor cleaning machine, especially on a hook in a storage location.
[0012] From a design perspective, it's particularly advantageous to provide a single carrying handle, accessible from the top and alternatively from the side. This opens up a wider range of possibilities.
[0013] In a structurally simple embodiment, the carrying handle comprises a bracket and in particular a single bracket, with at least one of the following: - the bracket extends between a first lateral side and an opposite second lateral side of the housing, the first lateral side being oriented transversely to the top side and transversely to the transverse side and the second lateral side being oriented transversely to the top side and transversely to the transverse side; - the bracket forms part of the top; - the bracket forms part of the transverse side; - the bracket defines at least one handle recess which is open towards the top; - the bracket defines at least one handle recess which is open towards the transverse side.
[0014] This makes the floor cleaning machine easy to set up and carry or hang in a variety of ways. It's also easy to store.
[0015] It is particularly advantageous if at least one grip recess is arranged and formed on the housing for inserting the fingers of a gripping hand, which is open on the top and on the short side. This allows the machine to be grasped and carried in different ways. Furthermore, several hanging options for storing the floor cleaning machine are also provided.
[0016] It is advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - the at least one handle recess or a combination of handle recesses has an L-shape or a C-shape in cross-section with a first region and a second region, wherein the first region is open towards the top side and the second region is open towards the transverse side and the second region is oriented transversely and in particular perpendicularly to the first region; - the at least one handle recess extends between the upper side and the transverse side and is in particular continuous; - at least one handle recess is dimensioned to fit the operator's hands.
[0017] By means of the corresponding at least one handle recess and in particular by means of exactly one handle recess, a “multifunctional handle” can be easily realized for carrying and also for hanging up the floor cleaning machine.
[0018] It is advantageous if the carrying handle is designed so that it can be grasped and gripped with a single movement of the fingers of one gripping hand toward the top, or alternatively, with a single movement of the fingers of the gripping hand toward the transverse side. This opens up a wider range of possible uses.
[0019] In particular, when properly gripping the housing by the carrying handle from the top, one palm of a gripping hand faces outwardly away from the rod device, and when properly gripping the housing by the carrying handle from the transverse side, one palm of the gripping hand faces toward the guide handle.
[0020] It is advantageous if the guide handle extends transversely from the rod assembly and is located in a half-space defined by the rod assembly, with the top and / or the transverse side located within this half-space. This results in optimized operability of the floor cleaning machine for the operator.
[0021] In particular, when the floor cleaning machine is operating properly, the operator stands on the floor to be cleaned, the floor head is placed on the floor to be cleaned, and the operator holds the floor cleaning machine by the guide handle and guides it across the floor to be cleaned, with the short side facing the operator. This results in easy operation and allows the operator to easily guide the floor cleaning machine across the floor to be cleaned.
[0022] From a structural perspective, it is advantageous if the transverse side is a rear side facing away from the front end of the floor head, with the at least one cleaning roller being located in the area of the front end of the floor head. This results in a structurally simple design.
[0023] It is also advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - a first lateral side borders the transverse side and borders a second lateral side of the housing, the first lateral side and the second lateral side being spaced apart from one another; - the transverse side is spaced from the rod device; - the transverse side has an axis of extension which is parallel to an axis of extension of the rod device in at least one partial area or is oriented at an acute angle to the axis of extension of the rod device in at least one partial area; - a front side of the housing is opposite the transverse side and the rod device is fixed to the housing in the area of the front side.
[0024] This results in a structurally simple design.
[0025] In particular, the housing is positioned vertically above the base head, and the top is positioned above the blower unit. This results in a structurally simple design.
[0026] Advantageously, a removable dirty fluid tank is arranged on the housing, wherein the dirty fluid tank is removable via the transverse side and can be inserted into the housing. This results in a structurally simple design.
[0027] In particular, a recess is provided on the housing, which forms a receptacle for the dirty fluid tank device and is open on the transverse side. This allows the dirty fluid tank device to be easily attached to and removed from the housing.
[0028] In one embodiment, the blower device is positioned vertically above the dirty fluid tank device on the housing. In particular, the blower device is located between the dirty fluid tank device and the guide handle. This allows for optimized suction flow and optimal coupling of dirty fluid into the dirty fluid tank device.
[0029] In one embodiment, the rod device is connected to the housing in the region of a distal end. This results in a structurally simple design.
[0030] In one embodiment, a battery device is positioned on the housing. The battery device provides electrical energy to the corresponding components of the floor cleaning machine for their operation.
[0031] In particular, the battery assembly is located in an area that represents an imaginary extension of the rod assembly toward the base head. This results in optimized space utilization.
[0032] It is also advantageous if the battery unit is located between the bottom of the housing and an electronics unit, with the bottom of the housing facing the floor head. This allows for a low center of gravity for the floor cleaning machine.
[0033] It is advantageous if the housing has a bottom side opposite the top side, which faces the base head, with at least one of the following: - the battery device is positioned closer to the ground head than the blower device in a height direction; - in relation to a height direction, the blower device is positioned closer to the top than the battery device; - the battery device is positioned adjacent to the bottom of the housing; - a wall on the underside forms a support area for the battery device.
[0034] This allows for a relatively low center of gravity with optimized usability. The base head can be designed with compact dimensions, resulting in particularly good clearance under furniture and the like.
[0035] It's also advantageous if the battery pack is located on the front side of the housing, away from the short side. This results in optimized space utilization.
[0036] Furthermore, an optimized use of space results if the battery device extends in a height direction up to a height level which lies between a bottom and a top side on the dirty fluid tank device which is positioned on the housing.
[0037] Furthermore, an optimized use of space is achieved if at least one of the following is located on a connecting line between the carrying handle and an underside of the battery device, with the underside of the battery device facing the base head: - the blower device; - a dirty fluid tank device, wherein in particular the connecting line is oriented at an acute angle to an extension axis of the rod device.
[0038] Furthermore, optimized space utilization is achieved by arranging an electronics unit on the housing between the battery unit and a distal end of the rod unit. This also positions the electronics unit relatively far away from the ground head and thus reduces its exposure to splash water.
[0039] In one embodiment, a connection device for a dirty fluid tank device is arranged on the housing at a connection area. A height level is assigned to the connection area, at which a support for the dirty fluid tank device is located. The height level lies between a bottom side of the battery device and a top side of the battery device. This allows for an optimized connection of the dirty fluid tank device. This results in short suction paths.
[0040] In an alternative embodiment, the battery device is located in the area of the top.
[0041] In particular, at least one of the following is then provided: - an electronic unit is located between the battery device and the carrying handle; - the battery device is located above the blower device; - a tank device for cleaning fluid is detachably mounted on the housing, in particular on an imaginary extension of the rod device; - the battery device is located between an electronic unit and the rod device; - in the region of the upper side of the housing, a receptacle for the battery device is formed, wherein a recess of the receptacle is open towards the upper side and a cover for closing the receptacle is arranged on the upper side.
[0042] This embodiment provides, in particular, optimized splash protection for the electronic unit and battery device.
[0043] It is advantageous if an electronics unit is arranged on the front side of the housing, with the front side facing away from the transverse side, especially if the battery device is positioned near the bottom of the housing. This results in optimized space utilization.
[0044] For the same reason, it is advantageous if the electronics unit is arranged opposite a dirty fluid tank device on the housing.
[0045] In one embodiment, the housing has a wall that separates a first receptacle for the electronics unit and a second receptacle for the dirty fluid tank device. This allows components to be arranged on the housing in a space-saving manner.
[0046] It is advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - the wall is at least approximately parallel to an extension axis of the rod device; - the wall defines a third receptacle for a battery device towards the dirty fluid tank device; - the wall is oriented at least approximately parallel to a front side of the housing; - the wall is spaced from the carrying handle in a transverse direction to a direction of extension of the rod device.
[0047] This results in an optimized and, above all, space-saving arrangement of components. A low center of gravity can be achieved.
[0048] In one embodiment, an optical display device is arranged on a front side of the housing, which faces away from the transverse side. This front side has a large usable area for an optical display device. The optical display device can be used to provide a status display, for example, using color signals and / or flashing signals, particularly over a large area.
[0049] In particular, the front side has a flat area where the optical display device is arranged. This results in a structurally simple design for the optical display device.
[0050] For the display on the optical display device, it is advantageous if the optical display device has an area of at least 50 cm 2 This results in good recognizability.
[0051] In particular, the optical display device indicates conditions of the floor cleaning machine, such as trouble-free operation, reaching a maximum filling level for a dirt fluid tank device, empty level of a tank device for cleaning fluid, discharge status of a battery device, etc.
[0052] In particular, the optical display device provides a plurality of different display signals which can be easily interpreted, wherein display signals differ in their color and / or duration.
[0053] In one embodiment, the tank device for cleaning fluid is arranged on the floor head, in particular in a removable manner. This results in short paths for supplying cleaning fluid to the at least one cleaning roller.
[0054] In one embodiment, the at least one cleaning roller is seated in a receptacle on the floor head and is removable from the floor head, wherein the receptacle is open via an opening on a lateral side of the floor head, and a blower device for generating a suction flow. A holder is removably arranged in the receptacle, on which a suction outlet device is arranged or formed, wherein the suction outlet device has at least one suction outlet aligned with the at least one cleaning roller and fluidly connected to the blower device, and the holder and the at least one cleaning roller are insertable or removable via the opening on the floor head.
[0055] During operation of the floor cleaning machine, at least one cleaning roller is subjected to a suction flow generated by the blower device. This allows the dirty fluid (which can flow and can generally be liquid or dry) to be removed.
[0056] The suction nozzle assembly is a component of the floor cleaning machine that is always exposed to dirt during operation. The holder allows the suction nozzle assembly to be effectively positioned in the holder for cleaning and removed from the floor head for cleaning after each cleaning operation.
[0057] The suction port device is the element that fluidically connects the blower device to the cleaning roller with respect to the suction flow, in order to achieve a corresponding suction flow to the at least one cleaning roller or to be able to suction dirty fluid from the at least one cleaning roller. The solution according to the invention allows this "connecting element" to effectively clean itself. This allows other areas of the floor head to be protected from exposure to dirty fluid.
[0058] It is generally possible for the holder and the at least one cleaning roller (i) to be inserted into a receptacle or removed from the receptacle independently of one another, or (ii) to be inserted into or removed from the receptacle together.
[0059] In one embodiment, the receptacle is assigned an openable cover for closing the receptacle on the lateral side of the base head, wherein a counterbearing for the at least one cleaning roller is located on the cover. This allows, on the one hand, the cleaning roller to be laterally encapsulated for cleaning operation. On the other hand, a bearing for the rotatable mounting of the at least one cleaning roller can be provided, and the roller can be held rotatably in the receptacle, suspended, so to speak, via end faces.
[0060] In one embodiment, the cover is removable from the base head. This makes it easy, for example, to firmly connect the holder to the cover.
[0061] It is particularly advantageous if the holder is firmly connected to the lid and can be removed from the receptacle via the lid and inserted into the receptacle. Especially when the lid is locked to the base head, the holder is automatically correctly positioned in the receptacle. This results in easy operation for the operator. The holder can be removed by opening the lid. If the lid is correctly positioned on the base head, the holder (and in particular the at least one cleaning roller) is correctly positioned in the receptacle.
[0062] It is also particularly advantageous if the lid itself forms a handle for the holder. This allows the holder to be easily removed and inserted using the lid as a handle. This minimizes operator contact with the holder, which is always covered with dirt.
[0063] In particular, the holder has an extension axis that is at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis when positioned in the receptacle. This results in a compact design of the base head.
[0064] It is particularly advantageous if at least one of the following cleaning elements is attached to the holder and can be removed from the floor head with the holder: - at least one sweeping strip; - at least one scraper strip, which in particular rests against a facing of the at least one cleaning roller or penetrates into the facing; - at least one splash guard device which covers at least in a partial area a wall of the receptacle towards the at least one cleaning roller; - at least partially a distribution device for cleaning fluid for supplying the at least one cleaning roller and / or a floor to be cleaned with cleaning fluid.
[0065] The cleaning elements are inherently exposed to dirt. Because they are mounted on the same holder as the suction nozzle, they can be easily removed from the floor head and cleaned independently.
[0066] The at least one sweeping bar serves in particular to supply coarse dirt to the at least one cleaning roller, whereby coarse dirt can then be taken along by the at least one cleaning roller and vacuumed away.
[0067] The at least one scraper bar serves to remove dirt fluid from a coating of the at least one cleaning roller so that suction can take place.
[0068] The at least one splash protection device has in particular one or more contact elements on a trim of the at least one cleaning roller in order to produce a corresponding splash protection effect.
[0069] The distribution device provides cleaning fluid in the form of a nozzle to the at least one cleaning roller and / or the floor to be cleaned. In one embodiment, supply openings for cleaning fluid to the at least one cleaning roller are arranged on the holder.
[0070] The arrangement of several cleaning elements on the holder results in a compact design.
[0071] In one embodiment, a sliding guide device for the at least one holder is arranged on the floor head, wherein, in particular, an insertion direction is at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis. This results in a compact design. The floor head can be designed with small dimensions. This, in turn, results in good cleanability because the floor head can be driven under, for example, furniture and the like. The sliding guide device enables automatic, correct alignment of the elements on the holder with respect to the at least one cleaning roller and, for example, also a suction channel device on the floor head.
[0072] In particular, when the lid is closed, the holder extends from the lid to a drive bearing for the at least one cleaning roller on the base head. The holder particularly touches a recess wall in the area of the drive bearing or is positioned a short distance from it. For this purpose, the corresponding functionality of a cleaning element can be secured to the holder essentially over the entire length of the at least one cleaning roller.
[0073] In an advantageous embodiment, the suction port device has at least one pipe socket. A fluid-effective connection between the suction port device on the holder and a suction channel device on the base head can be easily achieved via the at least one pipe socket.
[0074] It is advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - the at least one pipe socket points in a direction away from the at least one cleaning roller when the holder is positioned in the receptacle; - when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, at least one pipe socket points towards an interior of the base head; - when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, the at least one cleaning roller is positioned between the at least one pipe socket and a front end of the floor head; - when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, at least one pipe socket is fluidly connected to a suction channel on the base head; - when the suction outlet device is inserted into the receptacle, an automatic fluid-effective connection of the at least one pipe socket with a suction channel on the base head takes place; - a sealing device is located on the at least one pipe socket and / or on a suction channel on the base head; - at least one pipe socket has a cylindrical shape; - exactly one pipe socket is provided.
[0075] The fact that at least one pipe socket points away from the at least one cleaning roller and, in particular, into the interior of the floor head results in a compact design. The interior of the floor head can be filled with appropriate components with optimized space utilization.
[0076] By fluidly connecting the at least one pipe socket with the lid closed to a suction channel on the floor head, a suction path is provided from the blower device to the cleaning roller in order to achieve an optimized cleaning result.
[0077] The automatic fluid-active connection when inserting the suction nozzle into the holder makes it easy for the operator to use.
[0078] The sealing device makes it possible to easily achieve a fluid-tight seal for connecting the at least one pipe socket to a suction channel device on the base head.
[0079] A structurally simple design results if the pipe socket has a cylindrical shape and, in particular, exactly one pipe socket is provided.
[0080] It is particularly advantageous if the at least one pipe socket has a pipe socket axis and at least one of the following is provided with respect to the pipe socket axis: - when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, at least one pipe socket is at an acute angle to the axis of rotation; - at least one pipe socket is located at an acute angle to a longitudinal axis of the holder; - when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, the at least one pipe socket is positioned at an acute angle to a direction of insertion of the suction outlet device into the receptacle; - at least one suction channel is arranged on the base head for cooperation with the at least one pipe socket, which is oriented at an acute angle to the axis of rotation; - the at least one pipe socket has at one end a front surface which is oriented at an acute angle to a direction of insertion of the suction mouth device into the receptacle and in particular a corresponding suction channel on the base head with a corresponding front surface has a corresponding angular position.
[0081] When inserting the holder into the receptacle, a secure connection of the at least one pipe socket to a suction channel device on the floor head can be easily achieved. In particular, the connection can be achieved in a fluid-tight manner in a simple and automated manner. This provides a corresponding suction path from the blower device to the at least one cleaning roller.
[0082] The at least one pipe socket has an obliquely arranged end face, so that a simple attachment to a correspondingly adapted end face of a suction channel device on the base head is achieved in a simple manner with an effective fluid-tightness function.
[0083] It is therefore particularly provided that the acute angle when positioning the holder in the receptacle is an angle between an insertion direction and the pipe socket axis, and faces a drive bearing for the at least one cleaning roller, wherein the drive bearing is located on the floor head. This makes it easy to position the pipe socket against a corresponding suction channel in the floor head.
[0084] It has proven to be advantageous if the acute angle is in the range between 50° and 80°.
[0085] In a structurally simple embodiment, there is precisely one pipe socket, which, when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, is positioned at a center plane between the front ends of the at least one cleaning roller. This allows for an effective suction result to be achieved across the entire length of the at least one cleaning roller between its front ends, thereby achieving an effective cleaning effect for the floor to be cleaned.
[0086] It is advantageous if the suction outlet device has a funnel recess, which, when the holder is positioned in the receptacle, faces the at least one cleaning roller, and the at least one pipe socket forms a funnel neck. This allows for an effective suction flow to the at least one cleaning roller via the suction outlet device, or for the effective suction of dirty fluid from the at least one cleaning roller via the suction outlet device.
[0087] In one embodiment, at least one sweeping strip, then at least one pipe socket, then at least one wiping strip, and then at least one partial region of a cleaning fluid distribution device are arranged on the holder in a sequential order relative to a circumferential direction. In particular, a rotation direction of the at least one cleaning roller, relative to a specific region of the cleaning roller, extends from the sweeping strip toward the at least one pipe socket, then toward the at least one wiping strip, and then toward the distribution device. This results in an effective cleaning effect.
[0088] It is then furthermore advantageous if a splash guard device, which in particular has splash guard ribs, is located in the circumferential direction following the distributor device or the partial area of the distributor device.
[0089] In one embodiment, a removable tank for cleaning fluid is mounted on the base head. This allows the supply path for cleaning fluid to the at least one cleaning roller to be kept relatively short, resulting in optimized space utilization.
[0090] Accordingly, a holder for the tank device for cleaning fluid is positioned on the base head, whereby the tank device for cleaning fluid can then be inserted into the holder and removed from the holder.
[0091] Optimized space utilization at the base head is achieved by locating the cleaning fluid tank opposite a pump. Furthermore, this keeps the cleaning fluid distribution paths at the base head short.
[0092] Furthermore, it is advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - the receptacle for the tank device for cleaning liquid is closed at least on an upper side and a lower side, the upper side being opposite the lower side and the lower side facing a mounting plane on a floor to be cleaned; - the holder for the tank device for cleaning fluid is assigned a drawer guide for the tank device for cleaning fluid.
[0093] If the holder is closed at least on one side at the top and one side at the bottom, a type of storage compartment (drawer compartment) for the cleaning fluid tank can be easily created. This results in a compact design. The cleaning fluid tank can be easily inserted and removed from the base head by an operator.
[0094] In one embodiment, the receptacle for the cleaning fluid tank device is open to a lateral side of the base head via an opening, and in particular, the cleaning fluid tank device has a closure lid for the opening or forms this lid. This lid is, in particular, an integral component of the tank device. This allows the operator to easily remove and reinsert the tank device.
[0095] It is particularly advantageous if the opening for the cleaning fluid tank and the opening for the at least one cleaning roller are located on the same side of the base head. This results in a compact design. This optimizes the use of space on the base head, allowing it to be designed with relatively small dimensions.
[0096] Furthermore, it is advantageous if at least one of the following is provided: - an insertion direction of the tank device for cleaning liquid on the base head and an insertion direction of the cover with the suction mouth device on the base head are parallel / antiparallel or lie at an acute angle of not more than 20° to each other; - a withdrawal direction of the tank device for cleaning liquid from the base head and a withdrawal direction of the cover with the suction mouth device from the base head are parallel / antiparallel or lie at an acute angle of no more than 20° to each other.
[0097] This results in a compact design of the base head.
[0098] In one embodiment, the base head is assigned a center plane which is oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation and lies centrally between lateral sides of the base head, and which divides the base head into a first region and a second region separated by the center plane, with at least one of the following: - an opening of a receptacle for the tank device for cleaning fluid is located on the first area; - the tank device for cleaning fluid is positioned in the first area and in particular is positioned entirely in the first area; - a pipe socket arranged on the suction outlet device is located at least approximately on the median plane; - a drive motor for the at least one cleaning roller is located in the second area; - a drive bearing for the at least one cleaning roller is located in the second area; - a pump is positioned in the first area; - the tank device for cleaning fluid is located in the first area opposite a pump which is located in the second area.
[0099] This results in optimized space utilization. The tank for the cleaning fluid can be designed with a large volume. The floor head can be designed with relatively low height dimensions. This, in turn, results in optimal access under furniture and the like.
[0100] In an advantageous embodiment, the tank device for cleaning fluid has an at least approximately cuboid shape relative to an envelope. This results in a high storage volume.
[0101] The tank for cleaning fluid can be provided with an indentation on an outer casing for adapting to a recess in the floor head, with the recess in the floor head serving to accommodate a joint device. This results in optimized use of space. It also results in optimized operability of the floor cleaning machine for an operator.
[0102] Advantageously, a supply device for cleaning fluid to the at least one cleaning roller from a tank device for cleaning fluid is arranged on the base head, and a pump for conveying cleaning fluid into the supply device is positioned on the base head. This allows cleaning fluid to be supplied to the at least one cleaning roller in a targeted and safe manner.
[0103] In one embodiment, (i) a rod device for manual guidance by an operator is articulated to the floor head, wherein the rod device is pivotable about at least one pivot axis relative to the floor head and a housing is located on the rod device, or (ii) a housing is pivotably articulated to the floor head about at least one pivot axis, wherein a rod device is located on the housing, and wherein in cases (i) and (ii) the housing accommodates the blower device.
[0104] The pole attachment allows the floor cleaning machine to be grasped and guided by an operator standing on the floor to be cleaned. The height can be adjusted. By pivoting the housing or the pole attachment accordingly, it can be driven under furniture and the like.
[0105] The following description of preferred embodiments, taken in conjunction with the drawings, serves to further explain the invention. [0108] The base head 12 has a front end 20 and a rear end 22 opposite the front end 20. Between the front end 20 and the rear end 22, the base head 12 has a first lateral side 24 and an opposite second lateral side 26.
[0109] In one embodiment, the front end 20 has at least approximately a parallel orientation to the rotation axis 18.
[0110] In the embodiment shown, the rear end 22 also has an at least approximately parallel orientation to the rotation axis 18.
[0111] The first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26 are in one embodiment (cf. Fig. 1) are aligned parallel to each other. The first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26 are oriented transversely and, in particular, perpendicularly to the rotation axis 18.
[0112] The base head 12 has a central plane 28 (cf. for example Fig. 7), which is oriented perpendicular to the rotation axis 18 and oriented centrally between the first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26. (In the embodiment shown, the center plane 28 is oriented transversely and in particular perpendicularly to the front end 20 and the rear end 22.)
[0113] In the region of the rear end 22, the base head 12 has a recess 34 extending between an upper side 30 of the base head and a lower side 32 of the base head 12. The recess 34 is located at the center plane 28. The recess 34 serves to connect the guide device 14 to the base head 12.
[0114] The recess 34 is open toward the rear end 22. It has the shape of a bulge extending from the rear end 22.
[0115] The guide device 14 is connected to the base head 12 via a joint device 36. The joint device 36 is positioned (at least) with a partial area in the recess 34 (see, for example, Fig. 3).
[0116] The joint device 36 comprises a joint part 38, via which the guide device 14 is pivotally connected to the base head 12 about a pivot axis 40
[0117] The pivot axis 40 is in particular oriented parallel to the rotation axis 18.
[0118] In one embodiment, the pivot axis 40 lies within the recess 34.
[0119] A support plane 42 is assigned to the base head 12. A support device 44 is arranged on the base head 12 in an area adjacent to the recess 34, which, together with the cleaning roller 16, defines the support plane 42.
[0120] In one embodiment, the support device 44 comprises a first roller 46 and an opposite second roller 48 (see, for example, Fig. 1).
[0121] The first roller 46 is arranged on a wall of the recess 34 which is closest to the first lateral side 24, and the second roller 48 is arranged on an opposite wall of the recess 34 which is closest to the second lateral side 26.
[0122] The first roller 46 and the second roller 48 have a common axis of rotation 50. This axis of rotation 50 is parallel to the rotation axis 18 and parallel to the pivot axis 40.
[0123] The installation plane 42 is defined accordingly by the rollers 46, 48 and the cleaning roller 16. If the floor cleaning machine 10 with the floor head 12 via the support device 44 and the cleaning roller 16 and thus the installation plane 42 is properly positioned on a level floor 52, then the installation plane 42 and a plane of this floor 52 coincide (see. Fig. 2).
[0124] When the floor head 12 is properly positioned on the floor 52, the guide device 14 can be pivoted relative to the floor 52 via the joint device 36 with the pivot axis 40 and, in particular, an angle of an extension axis 54 of the guide device 14 to the floor 52 can be varied.
[0125] The open recess 34 allows small pivoting angles around the pivot axis 40 to the floor 52. (In the Fig. 1 to 3, a pivot angle of approximately 90° to the floor 52 is shown.)
[0126] The pivotability about the pivot axis 40 allows a storage position (parking position) of the guide device 14 relative to the floor head 12 (cf. Fig. 1 to 3), in which, in particular, the corresponding pivoting position of the guide device 14 is fixed relative to the floor head 12, for example, by force-locking. The pivoting ability about the pivot axis 40 allows an operator, during operation of the floor cleaning machine 10, to adjust the size to his or her height and, for example, to allow the machine to pass underneath furniture and the like.
[0127] In one embodiment, the joint device 36 has a further pivotability, in particular in a pivot axis transverse to the pivot axis 40. Such a pivot axis is in Fig. 3 is indicated by the reference number 56.
[0128] The guide device 14 comprises a housing 58. This housing 58 is articulated to the base head 12 via the articulated device 36.
[0129] A rod device 60 is fixed to the housing 58. The rod device 60 is fixed to the housing 58 in particular in an upper region 62 of the housing 58, wherein the upper region 62 faces away from a lower side 64 of the housing 58. The lower side 64 of the housing 58 is (at least in the Fig. 1 to 3, the guide device 14 faces the upper side 30 of the floor head 12. The underside 32 of the floor head 12, opposite the upper side 30, in turn faces the installation plane 42 and, during operation of the floor cleaning machine 10, faces the floor 52.
[0130] The housing 58 has a top side 66 which faces away from the bottom side 64 of the housing 58.
[0131] The rod device 60 projects upward beyond the upper side 66 in the extension axis 54. The rod device 60 has a proximal end 68 and a distal end 70. At a region around the distal end 70, the rod device 60 is connected to the housing 58.
[0132] A guide handle 72 is arranged in the region of the proximal end 68 of the rod device 60. The guide handle serves to guide the floor cleaning machine 10 over a floor 52 to be cleaned by an operator standing on the floor 52. As mentioned above, an operator can adjust the pivot position of the rod device 60 and thus the position of the guide handle 72 (in its height above the floor 52) by pivoting it about the pivot axis 40.
[0133] In one embodiment, the guide handle 72 is designed as a closed loop handle 74. It extends from the rod assembly 60 at an acute angle 76 into a rear area, with the rear area facing away from the front end 20 of the floor head 12. With respect to the floor cleaning machine 10, the rear area is the area in which the operator positions himself during proper operation (in a sense, positions himself behind the floor cleaning machine 10 for cleaning operations).
[0134] In one embodiment, a display device and / or operating device 78 is positioned in the region of the proximal end 80, which displays, for example, operating states of the floor cleaning machine 10 to an operator. Operating states of the floor cleaning machine 10, such as roller speed, amount of cleaning fluid applied, etc., can also be adjusted via this display device / operating device 78.
[0135] In one embodiment, a switch 80 (cf. Fig. 1) is arranged, which serves to switch the floor cleaning machine 10 on and off. Such a switch can alternatively be arranged on the guide device 14 and thereby on the rod device 60 or on the housing 58.
[0136] The guide handle 72 is in a height direction 82 ( Fig. 3) relative to the installation plane 42 at a distance from the top side 66 of the housing 58. The height direction 82 is perpendicular to the installation plane 42.
[0137] In one embodiment, the distance in the vertical direction 82 of the guide handle 72 to the upper side 66 is fixed. In principle, the rod device 60 can also be designed to be lockably height-adjustable.
[0138] The guide handle 72 faces the upper side 66. A projection of the guide handle 72 in a direction parallel to the height direction 82 onto the upper side 66 lies at least partially on the upper side 66.
[0139] The upper side 66 is oriented transversely and, in one embodiment, perpendicularly to the extension axis 54 to the rod device 60.
[0140] The rod device 60 comprises in particular a single rod 84. This rod 84 has a front side 86 and a rear side 88. The rear side 88 faces an operator during proper operation and the front side 86 faces away from the rear side 88. It is (at least in the park position according to Fig. 1) facing the front end 20 of the base head 12.
[0141] The top 66 of the housing 58 extends from the rear 88 of the rod 64. The housing 58 has a front 90 and a rear 92. The rear 92 faces the operator during proper operation, and the front 90 faces away from the rear 92. The front 90 of the housing 58 and the front 86 of the rod 84 are on the same side of the floor cleaning machine 10. The rear 88 and the rear 92 are on the same side of the floor cleaning machine 10, with the rear 88 of the rod 84 being offset from the rear 92 of the housing 58 in particular.
[0142] In particular, the front side 86 of the rod 84 and the front side 90 of the housing 58 are at least approximately aligned with one another, or an offset between the front side 86 and the front side 90 of the housing 58 is considerably smaller than an offset between the rear side 88 and the rear side 92 in a transverse direction to the extension axis 54.
[0143] The housing 58 has lateral sides 94, 96 between the front side 90 and the rear side 92. The housing 58 has at least approximately a cuboid shape with respect to the envelope.
[0144] The housing 58 serves to accommodate the following components: A dirty fluid tank device 98, which is removable from the housing 58; a connection device 100 for the dirty fluid tank device 98; a blower device 102, which generates a suction current during operation of the floor cleaning machine 10; a battery device 104, which provides electrical energy to the floor cleaning machine 10; and an electronics unit 106.
[0145] Furthermore, a carrying handle 108 is arranged on the housing 58.
[0146] The housing has a first receptacle 110 in which the electronics unit 106 is positioned.
[0147] The first receptacle 110 is positioned in the area of the front side 90 in an imaginary continuation of the rod device 60 into the housing 58 (of the rod 84 into the housing 58) along the extension axis 54. The rod device 60 is thereby positioned above the electronics unit 106 (for example, relative to the height direction 82 in the park position according to Fig. 1).
[0148] The housing 58 has a wall 112, which separates the first receptacle 110 from a second receptacle 114 within the housing 58. The second receptacle 114 serves to receive and hold the dirty fluid tank device 98.
[0149] The wall 112 is aligned at least approximately parallel to the extension axis 54 of the rod device 60.
[0150] A width of the first receptacle 110 between the front side 86 and the wall 112 is at least approximately as large as the width of the rod 84 between the front side 86 and the back side 88 and is in particular at most 30% larger than this width between the front side 86 and the back side 88.
[0151] A third receptacle 116 is arranged in the housing 58, which follows the first receptacle 110 downwards in the imaginary extension of the rod device 60 along the extension axis 54 and, in particular, borders a wall of the lower side 64 of the housing 58. The battery device 104 (in particular, the rechargeable battery device 104) is positioned in the third receptacle 116. It can be removably positioned there or be permanently positioned. Accordingly, an electrical connection for a charger is then provided.
[0152] In particular, the wall 112 also at least partially delimits the third receptacle 116 towards the second receptacle 114.
[0153] The battery device 104 comprises a plurality of battery elements in the cell assembly, which are stacked one above the other.
[0154] The connection device 100 is arranged in the region of the lower side 64 on the housing 58 and extends up to a height plane 118, which is perpendicular to the extension axis 54. The height plane 118 intersects the battery device 104 in the third receptacle 116; a bottom side 120a of the battery device 104, which faces the lower side 64 of the housing 58, lies below the height plane 118. An upper side 120b of the battery device 104, which faces away from the bottom side 120a, lies above the height plane 118; the height plane 118 lies between the bottom side 120a and the top side 120b.
[0155] At the height level 118, a support surface 120 for the dirty fluid tank device 98 is formed.
[0156] On the upper side 120b of the battery device 104, a further height plane 124 lies perpendicular to the extension axis 54.
[0157] In one embodiment, the dirty fluid tank device 98 has a height such that it protrudes beyond the elevation plane 124. The dirty fluid tank device has a height greater than the distance between the elevation plane 118 and the elevation plane 124.
[0158] The blower device 102 is positioned above the second receptacle 114 for the dirty fluid tank device 98 relative to the height plane 124. It comprises an electric motor and at least one impeller. It further comprises a suction port 126, to which a corresponding counter element 128 of the dirty fluid tank device 98 can be coupled or, if the dirty fluid tank device is installed on the housing 58, a coupling to the suction port 126 is present, so that a suction flow can be applied.
[0159] The second receptacle 114 is open towards the rear side 92 so that the dirty fluid tank device 98 can be removed towards the rear side 92 of the housing 58 or can be inserted from the rear side 92.
[0160] The dirty fluid tank device 98 serves to hold dirty fluid. Dirty fluid is understood to be a flowable medium, which can be liquid or even dry.
[0161] The dirty fluid tank device 98 serves to hold dirty fluid and, in particular, to hold a dirty liquid. The dirty fluid tank device 98 is also designed as a separator, which separates an air stream from, in particular, dirt and, in particular, from contaminated liquid.
[0162] The connection device 100 forms an inlet connection for dirty fluid for coupling into the dirty fluid tank device 98. The suction connection 126 forms an inlet connection for coupling in a suction flow.
[0163] In one embodiment (see Fig. 3) the counter element 128 of the dirty fluid tank device 98, when inserted into the housing 58, lies at a height plane 130 which is perpendicular to the extension axis 54 and which intersects the electronic unit 106.
[0164] The blower device 102 is located above this height level 130 and is located in particular above the electronics unit 106 or at most with a small height overlap to the electronics unit 106.
[0165] A suction channel device 132 is arranged on the guide device 14 in the region of the joint device 36, which is fluidly connected to the connection device 100. Via this channel, the floor head 12 can be subjected to the suction flow, as described in more detail below, or the dirty fluid can then be sucked off and coupled into the dirty fluid tank device 98.
[0166] The suction channel device 132 is designed and arranged such that it enables the pivotability of the guide device 14 to the floor head 12 or is carried accordingly.
[0167] The blower device 102 extends to a further height level 134, which is perpendicular to the extension axis 54.
[0168] This height level 134 is spaced apart in height from the height level 130. The upper side 66 of the housing 58 lies above this height level 134 and thus closer to the guide handle 72 than the height level 134. Between the height level 134 and the upper side 66 lies a gripping area 136 of the housing 58. This gripping area 136 projects away from the rod 84 to the rear side 92 of the housing 58.
[0169] The housing 58 has a transverse side 138, which is oriented transversely to the top side 66 and borders the top side 66. This transverse side 138 corresponds to the rear side 92 of the housing 58.
[0170] The carrying handle 108 is associated with both the top side 66 and the transverse side 138. Using the carrying handle 108, the floor cleaning machine 10 can be held on the housing 58 from both the transverse side 138 and the top side 66 and then transported accordingly.
[0171] The carrying handle 108 can be grasped from the top side 66 and the floor cleaning machine can be held accordingly, or alternatively it can be held from the transverse side 138 and the floor cleaning machine can be transported accordingly.
[0172] A continuous recess 140 is arranged on the handle area 136 as a handle recess (cf. Fig. 6). The recess 140 is open to the top side 66 and is open to the transverse side 138. The recess 140 extends between the top side 66 and the transverse side 138.
[0173] A bracket 142 serving as a carrying handle 108 is arranged at the recess 140, extending between the first lateral side 94 and the second lateral side 96 of the housing 58 at the handle area 136. The recess 140 extends, so to speak, beneath the bracket 142.
[0174] The bracket 142 forms a partial area 144 of the upper side 66 and, oriented transversely thereto, a partial area 146 of the transverse side 138.
[0175] The recess 140 is a handle recess and the bracket 142 as a carrying handle 108 delimits this handle recess 140.
[0176] As described above, this handle recess 140 has a first opening 148 on the upper side 66 and a second opening 150 on the transverse side. This first opening 148 and this second opening 150 are connected to one another via the handle recess 140.
[0177] An operator can move his gripping hand in a direction 152 (cf. Fig. 6) grasp the handle 142 (the carrying handle 108) from above. To do so, the user inserts the fingers of his gripping hand from the direction 152 through the first opening 148 into the handle recess 140 and can then grasp the handle 142 from above. During this gripping action, the palm of his hand is facing in the direction 152.
[0178] Alternatively, the user can insert the fingers of his gripping hand into the second opening 150 in a direction 154 that is transverse to the direction 152 and, for example, perpendicular to it, and then grasp the bracket 142 (the carrying handle 108) accordingly. In this gripping manner, the palm of his hand is oriented in the direction 154 and, in particular, faces the rod 84.
[0179] In one embodiment, the handle recess has a first region 156a and a second region 156b. The first opening 148 is located in the first region 156a. The second opening 150 is located in the second region 156b. The first opening 148 and the second opening 150 have opening normals that are transverse to one another and are oriented perpendicular to one another. The second region 156b is oriented transversely and in particular perpendicular to the first region 156a. The handle recess therefore has a cross-section ( Fig. 3) an L-shape or at least approximately a C-shape.
[0180] The carrying handle 108 with the associated handle recess 140 is dimensioned to fit an operator's hand and is particularly ergonomically designed.
[0181] In one embodiment, the housing has a bulge 158 on the rear side 92 following the handle area 136 in order to enable a transition to the dirty fluid tank device 98 and to be able to use a dirty fluid tank device 98 with a large receiving volume.
[0182] A width of the housing 58 at the grip area 136 between the front 90 and the back 92 is smaller than at the bulge 158 below the grip area 136.
[0183] This design makes it possible to provide a dirty fluid tank device with a large storage volume without having a step on the housing 58 at its rear side 92.
[0184] An embodiment was described above in which the housing 58 is hinged to the base head 12 via the hinge device 36, and the rod device 60 is fixed to the housing. It is also possible in principle for the rod device to be hinged directly to the base head 12 via a hinge device, and then for a corresponding housing to be held on the rod device.
[0185] In one embodiment, a display device, in particular an optical display device 160, is arranged on the front side 90 of the housing 58. In particular, the housing 58 has a flat area 162 on the front side 90, on which the optical display device 160 is positioned.
[0186] The optical display device 160 extends with respect to boundary lines 164 over a larger area, which in particular is at least 50 cm 2 amounts.
[0187] The optical display device 160 serves, in particular, for the "large-scale" optical display of states of the floor cleaning machine 10. For example, at least one of the following can be displayed: proper operation, a malfunction, an indication that the dirty fluid tank device 98 should be emptied; an indication that a tank device for cleaning fluid should be refilled; an indication regarding the discharge of the battery device 104, etc. The optical display of the display device 160 can, for example, be provided via color representation (such as green for proper operation and red for a state requiring operator intervention). Alternatively or additionally, a corresponding state can also be indicated, for example, by a signal duration such as flashing.
[0188] The base head 12 has a housing 202, particularly in the form of a (closed) housing shell. The first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26 of the housing 202 are located on shell walls. Furthermore, a rear wall 204 is located on the housing 202 as a shell wall, on which the rear end 22 is located.
[0189] The housing 202 is closed at the top 30 by a cover 206. The cover 206 is firmly connected to the housing 202 and generally cannot be opened without tools. Fig. 5 this cover 206 is removed.
[0190] The housing 202 of the floor head 12 has a first receptacle 208 for the cleaning roller 16.
[0191] This receptacle 208 is open towards the front end 20 and is open towards the underside 32 so that the cleaning roller 16 can act on a floor 52.
[0192] On the housing 202 there is a web 210 (see for example Fig. 5), wherein the web 210 is located in particular on the first lateral side 24. The web 210 delimits the receptacle 208 on the base head 12 toward the lateral side 24 and extends to the front end 20.
[0193] To the opposite second lateral side 26, the receptacle 208 is open via an opening 212 on the second lateral side 26 (cf. for example Fig. 10).
[0194] The cleaning roller 16 can be removed from the floor head 12 via the opening 212 and inserted into it.
[0195] The web 210 extends to the front end 20. The receptacle 208 for the cleaning roller 16 thereby forms a recess in the housing 202 which is at least approximately rectangular in cross-section with respect to an envelope.
[0196] A drive bearing 214 for the cleaning roller 16 is located on the web 210 and projects into the first receptacle 208 for its driven rotation about the rotation axis 18. The drive bearing 214 is designed such that it is rotatable about the rotation axis 18 and has a corresponding coupling for the rotationally fixed coupling of the cleaning roller 16.
[0197] A drive motor 218 for the cleaning roller 16 is located in the housing 202 of the floor head 12, relative to a longitudinal axis 216 of the floor head 12. The drive motor 218 is an electric motor that is supplied with electrical energy via the battery device 104. Corresponding electrical connecting lines are arranged on the guide device 14 and the floor head 12. Furthermore, corresponding signal lines are provided to enable control of the drive motor 218 (in particular, switching it on and off).
[0198] A torque transmission device 220 is provided, which is positioned in the housing 202 and is at least partially positioned on the web 210.
[0199] A drive shaft of the drive motor 218 is spaced apart from the drive bearing 214 (and in particular spaced apart parallel with respect to rotation axes) and the torque transmission device 220 serves to transmit torque from the drive motor 218 to the drive bearing 214 by bridging the corresponding distance.
[0200] The torque transmission device 220 comprises, for example, a belt drive.
[0201] The torque transmission device 220 can also be designed such that it, for example, effects a speed reduction from the drive shaft of the drive motor 218 to the drive bearing 214.
[0202] A pump 222 is arranged in the housing 202. The pump 222 is connected to a supply device for cleaning fluid to the cleaning roller 16 and serves to convey cleaning fluid from a tank device 224 for cleaning fluid to the cleaning roller 16.
[0203] The pump 222 is arranged behind the drive motor 218 with respect to the longitudinal axis 216 and is arranged closer to the rear end 22 than to the cleaning roller 16.
[0204] In particular, the drive motor 218 is positioned between the pump 222 and the cleaning roller 16 with respect to the longitudinal axis 216.
[0205] The longitudinal axis 216 runs between the front end 20 and the rear end 22 of the base head 12 and is in particular perpendicular to the rotation axis 18.
[0206] In one embodiment, the tank device 224 for cleaning fluid is removably positioned on the base head 12. The base head 12 has a second receptacle 226 for the tank device 224 for cleaning fluid. The second receptacle 226 has an opening 228 on the second lateral side of the base head 12 (of the housing 202). The opening 228 of the second receptacle 226 is located on the same side as the opening 212 of the first receptacle 208 for the cleaning roller 16 (see FIG. Fig. 8).
[0207] The second receptacle 226 is closed at the top 30 of the base head 12 and at the bottom 32 of the base head 12. The second receptacle 226 forms a type of drawer guide, with the tank device 224 for cleaning fluid being designed as a type of drawer that can be inserted into and removed from the second receptacle 226.
[0208] An insertion direction 230 or removal direction 232 for the tank device 224 is transverse and in particular perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 216 and is at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis 18.
[0209] The tank device 224 has at least approximately a cuboid shape with respect to envelope surfaces.
[0210] In one embodiment, it has an indentation 236 on an outer shell 234 (see, for example, Fig. 5 or Fig. 8).
[0211] The indentation 236 serves to adapt the tank device 224 to the shape of the base head 12 in the region of the recess 34. This allows a large volume of cleaning fluid to be provided for the tank device 224 with optimized use of space on the base head 12.
[0212] The central plane 28 divides the base head 12 into a first region 238 and a second region 240. The central plane 28 separates the first region 238 from the second region 240. The openings 212 and 228 are located at the first region 238 of the base head 12. When the tank device 224 is inserted, this is in particular completely positioned in the first region 238 (cf. for example Fig. 14). The drive motor 218 and the pump 222 are positioned in the second region 240. The torque transmission device 220 and the drive bearing 214 are positioned in the second region 240.
[0213] The cleaning roller 16 is positioned in both the first region 238 and the second region 240.
[0214] The tank device 224 can be locked to the base head 12. It forms a lid 242 for closing the opening 228. In one embodiment, a handle element 244 is arranged on the lid 242, via which an operator can grasp the tank device 224 and pull it out of the second receptacle 226 for refilling.
[0215] A cover 246 is provided to close the opening 212 of the first receptacle 208 for the cleaning roller 16. The cover 246 is removable from the base head. An insertion / removal direction 248 of the cover 246 on the base head 12 is transverse and in particular perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 216 or the center plane 28. The insertion / removal direction 248 is at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis 18.
[0216] The insertion direction / removal direction 248 is preferably at least approximately parallel to the insertion direction 230 / removal direction 232 for the tank device 224 at the second receptacle 226.
[0217] A counterbearing 250 for the drive bearing 214 is arranged on the cover 246. The counterbearing 250 comprises, in particular, a ball bearing. When the cleaning roller 16 is properly positioned on the floor head 12, with the cover 246 closed, the cleaning roller 16 is mounted for rotation about the rotation axis 18 via the drive bearing 214 and the counterbearing 250, and is thus suspended, so to speak, between the drive bearing 214 and the counterbearing 250.
[0218] A holder 252 is located on the cover 242 and projects transversely from the cover 246. The holder 252 supports (holds) cleaning elements of the floor cleaning machine 10. These cleaning elements can be positioned in the first receptacle 208 via the holder 252, whereby the positioning of the cover 246 on the housing 202 (the floor head 12) automatically positions these cleaning elements on the floor head 12. The cleaning elements, which may in particular be contaminated, can be removed from the floor head 12 via the cover 246 and cleaned accordingly, for example, under a water jet.
[0219] The cover 246 forms a handle for the holder 252, so that an operator can pull the holder 252 out of the receptacle 208 by grasping the cover 246 (after releasing the locking of the cover 246 with the base head 12) or, holding the cover 246, can insert the holder 252 into the receptacle 208.
[0220] The holder 252 is designed such that, when the cover 246 is fixed, it extends from the cover 246 (to which it is firmly connected) in the first receptacle 208 to the web 210. A contact with the web 210 may be provided, or a small distance may be provided.
[0221] The holder 252 has at least one web 254, which has a corresponding holding function for cleaning elements and extends away from the cover 246. The web 254 has an extension axis 256, which, when the cover 246 is fixed, is at least approximately parallel to the rotation axis 18 or at least approximately parallel to the insertion / removal direction 248. The extension axis 256 is then transverse and in particular perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 216 or transverse and in particular perpendicular to the center plane 28.
[0222] A suction mouth device 258 is arranged on the holder 252.
[0223] The web 254 or the holder 252 comprises a wall 260 which at least partially covers the first receptacle 208 towards the cleaning roller 16.
[0224] A suction mouth 262 is arranged on the wall 260, which (when the cover 246 is fixed to the base head 12) is aligned with the cleaning roller 16.
[0225] In one embodiment, exactly one suction mouth 262 is provided, which is positioned in particular centrally between end faces 264a, 264b of the cleaning roller 16.
[0226] The wall 260 includes an opening 266.
[0227] The opening is arranged at a funnel area 268 which (when the cover 246 is inserted) faces the cleaning roller 16.
[0228] At the opening 266 is a pipe socket 270, which points away from the cleaning roller 16 into an interior of the floor head 12. The pipe socket 270 forms a funnel neck for the funnel area 268.
[0229] The pipe socket 270 is in particular cylindrical.
[0230] The pipe socket 270 has a pipe socket axis 272. The pipe socket axis 272 is at an acute angle 274 (see for example Fig. 14) oriented to the extension axis 256.
[0231] When the cover 256 is fixed, the pipe socket axis 272 is oriented at an acute angle 274 to the rotation axis 18.
[0232] A sign of the acute angle 274 is such that the corresponding angular range is assigned to the drive bearing 214 when the cover 246 is fixed (cf. Fig. 14).
[0233] The pipe socket 270 has an end face 276 (see for example Fig. 17), which lies at an acute angle to the extension axis 256, wherein this acute angle is the opposite angle to the acute angle 274 at 90°, and in relation to the insertion direction 248, the distance of a side facing the drive bearing 214 has a smaller distance to the front end 20 than on a side facing the cover 246.
[0234] A sealing device 278, which is in particular a shaped seal, is arranged on the pipe socket 270 in the region of the end face 276.
[0235] On the base head 12 there is a suction channel device 280, in particular with one and exactly one suction channel, which is adapted accordingly to the pipe socket 270.
[0236] When the cover 246 is inserted into the floor head 12 and locked thereto, the pipe socket 270 is connected to the suction channel device 280 and thereby fluid-tight. During operation of the floor cleaning machine 10, the cleaning roller 16 can then be subjected to a suction flow via the suction outlet device 258 around the suction channel device 280, or dirty fluid can be discharged via the suction outlet device 258.
[0237] Effective discharge is ensured via the funnel area 268.
[0238] Due to the oblique arrangement of the pipe socket 270 at the acute angle 274, when inserting the holder 252 with the suction mouth device 258 into the first receptacle 208, an effective coupling of the suction mouth device 258 on the holder 252, which is removable from the base head, to the suction channel device 280, which is firmly connected to the base head 12, can be achieved.
[0239] The suction mouth device 258 and in particular the area facing the cleaning roller 16 is generally exposed to dirt during operation of the floor cleaning machine 10.
[0240] Due to the arrangement on the holder 252, wherein it can be removed from the base head 12 via the cover 246, cleaning can be carried out easily.
[0241] When the cover 246 is fixed to the base head 12, the cleaning roller 16 is located between the front end 20 and the pipe socket 270 (cf. Fig. 17).
[0242] The suction channel device 280 is in fluid communication with the dirty fluid tank device 98 and, in turn, in fluid communication with the blower device 102.
[0243] The cleaning roller 16 is a circumferential direction 282 (cf. Fig. 17).
[0244] Furthermore, a sweeping bar 284 is arranged on the holder 252, which serves to feed coarse dirt to the cleaning roller 16.
[0245] The sweeping strip 284 comprises, in particular, an elastic lip. It is intended that the sweeping strip 284 lies on the installation plane 42 or at most has a small distance therefrom. (In Fig. 17, the installation plane 42 is shown continuously through a trim 286 of the cleaning roller 16. When setting up the floor head 12 on the floor 52, the trim 286 of the cleaning roller 16 is generally slightly compressed, which is indicated by the corresponding line in Fig. 17 is intended to indicate this.)
[0246] The sweeping strip 284 is then followed in the circumferential direction 282 by the pipe socket 270.
[0247] In one embodiment, the trim 286 of the cleaning roller 16 is made of a textile material and in particular of a microfiber material.
[0248] At least one scraper bar 288 is located on the holder 252, which rests against the lining or, in particular, penetrates into it. The scraper bar 288 serves to remove dirty fluid (in particular, liquid-laden dirty fluid) from the lining 286 of the cleaning roller 16, which can then be suctioned off at the suction outlet device 258.
[0249] The scraper strip 288 follows the pipe socket 270, particularly in the circumferential direction 282.
[0250] Furthermore, at least part of a cleaning fluid distribution device 290 is arranged on the holder 252. This part comprises, in particular, a plurality of openings 292 through the holder 252. The distribution device 290 as a whole is fluidly connected to the cleaning fluid supply device. Cleaning fluid is conveyed from the cleaning fluid tank device 224 to the distribution device 290 via the pump 222, and cleaning fluid can flow through the openings 292 onto the cleaning roller 16.
[0251] The cleaning fluid is in particular fresh water, which may be added with a surfactant as a cleaning agent.
[0252] The part of the distribution device 290 with the openings 292 follows the scraper strip 288, in particular in the circumferential direction 282.
[0253] In one embodiment, a splash guard device 294 is also arranged on the holder 252, which follows the distributor device 290 in particular in the circumferential direction 282.
[0254] The splash guard device 294 has, in particular, one or more contact elements which rest against the facing 286 in the region of a front end of the holder 252 or are immersed in it and thereby also cover the facing 286, in particular upwards (towards the upper side 30) towards the first receptacle 208.
[0255] In one embodiment, during operation of the floor cleaning machine 10, the cleaning roller 16 has a direction of rotation 296 ( Fig. 17), in which a certain area of the trim 286 first comes into contact with the scraper bar 288 and is then guided to the opening 292.
[0256] The floor cleaning machine 10 works as follows: An operator can hold and carry the floor cleaning machine 10 by the carrying handle 108. Depending on the need, the operator can hold the floor cleaning machine 10 by the housing 58 from above (by inserting the hand into the first opening 148) or from the transverse side 138 (from the rear side 92) by inserting the hand into the second opening 150.
[0257] To clean the floor 52, the floor head 12 is placed on it.
[0258] When the floor cleaning machine 10 is switched on, the blower device 102 is activated. Furthermore, the drive motor 218 is operated. The cleaning roller 16 rotates around the rotation axis 18.
[0259] The switching on can be done, for example, via a switch 80. However, it can also be provided that the movement of the guide device 14 out of a parking position (as for example in Fig. 1), switching on the drive motor 218 and the blower device 102 and returning it to the parking position results in a corresponding switching off.
[0260] During a floor cleaning operation, an operator guides the floor cleaning machine 10 over the floor to be cleaned, holding it by the guide handle 72.
[0261] The cleaning roller 16 rotates. Cleaning fluid from the tank device 224 (supplied by the pump 222) is applied to the cleaning roller and / or to the floor 16 to be cleaned. This improves the removal of dirt from the floor 52. The bristles 286 of the cleaning roller 16 collect the dirt. Coarse dirt is fed to the cleaning roller 16 via the sweeping bar 284. Dirty fluid is removed from the bristles 286 via the scraper bar 288. Suction takes place at the suction outlet device 258. Dirty fluid is conveyed into the dirty fluid tank device 98. There, an air stream separates from the dirty fluid.
[0262] To clean the floor cleaning machine 10 itself, the cover 246 is removed from the floor head 12. This automatically removes the holder 252, which houses the corresponding cleaning elements, which may be contaminated with dirt. These elements can thus be easily cleaned. The holder 252 is then removed from the opening 212.
[0263] The cleaning roller 16 can then also be removed from the first receptacle 208 through the same opening 212 and cleaned accordingly (for example in a washing machine).
[0264] An optimized weight distribution results from the arrangement of the battery device 104 on the guide device 14 close to the base head 12.
[0265] Optimized space utilization on the floor head 12 is achieved through the appropriate arrangement of the drive motor 218 and the tank device 224 for cleaning fluid. The tank device 224 and the cover 246 are arranged, in particular, on the same lateral side 26 and can therefore be removed or inserted from the same side.
[0266] The floor head 12 can thus be designed with a relatively low height, resulting in good accessibility under furniture and the like. The provision of the recess 34 also results in good accessibility, since the guide device 224 can be positioned at a small angle to the floor 52 around the pivot axis 40.
[0267] The angled arrangement of the pipe socket 270 allows for a simple connection of the removable suction port device 258 to the suction channel device 280, which is fixedly arranged on the base head. A defined contact surface is provided for the pipe support 270 on the suction channel device 280, whereby effective contact is automatically established upon correct positioning of the holder 252 in the receptacle 208. The connection can be easily released. Fluid tightness can be easily achieved, or the fluid tightness can be easily released.
[0268] This results in a structurally simple design of the floor cleaning machine 10 with easy operation and also easy maintenance (cleaning) of the floor cleaning machine 10 for an operator.
[0269] In a further embodiment of a floor cleaning machine according to the invention, which is Fig. 18 is shown schematically and designated 296, the bottom head is basically designed as above and designated by the same reference numeral.
[0270] A housing 298 has a handle area 136' which is designed in the same way as described above with respect to the carrying handle.
[0271] A receptacle 298 for a battery device 300 is arranged on the handle area 136'. The battery device 300 is thus located between a rod 84 and the carrying handle 108.
[0272] The receptacle 298 is open towards the top side 66 to allow the insertion of the battery device 300. The corresponding opening 302 is closed by a cover (in Fig. 18 not shown), which in particular cannot be opened with tools. In particular, the battery device 300 is fixedly arranged on the housing and cannot be removed.
[0273] An electronic unit 106' is arranged below the handle area between a blower device 102' and the handle area 136'.
[0274] In this embodiment, a tank device for cleaning fluid can be arranged on the base head 12, as described above, or, for example, in the region of a bottom side of the housing and, for example, in the region of the corresponding third receptacle 116.
[0275] Otherwise, the floor cleaning machine 296 works as described above.
