AI Technical Summary
Conventional methods for attaching tire modules to vehicle tires often experience adhesion issues, making it difficult to securely and easily connect or replace these modules.
The use of two flexible holding means made of rubber, arranged overlapping on the tire inner side with holding openings for the tire module, provides a simple and secure method for attaching and detaching the tire module.
This solution allows for easy and secure connection and detachment of the tire module, enabling quick replacement if defective, while ensuring the inner tire side is not damaged.

Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a vehicle tire.
[0002] Tire modules are used in tires for various tasks. These tasks include, for example, monitoring air pressure or measuring the temperature in the tire. Modern tire modules include an electronic module in which sensor elements and other electronic components are located. An example of such a tire module is disclosed in DE 102 43 441 A1.
[0003] A conventional method of attaching the tire module to the vehicle tire involves bonding the tire module to the inside of the tire using an adhesive.
[0004] This type of fastening may cause problems with the bonding.
[0005] The invention is based on the object of providing a vehicle tire in which a tire module in the vehicle tire can be easily connected to the vehicle tire.
[0006] The problem is solved according to the preamble and the characterizing features of claim 1 in that two holding means made of a flexible material are arranged on the inside of the tyre, wherein the two holding means each have a holding opening for receiving the upper side of the tyre module, wherein the holding means are arranged overlapping in partial areas and fix the tire module with the superimposed holding openings on the inside of the tire.
[0007] A particular advantage of the invention is that the tire module can be easily and securely connected to the vehicle tire using the retaining means. A further advantage is that the tire module is releasably connected to the inside of the tire using the retaining means.
[0008] This means that if the tire module is defective, it can be easily replaced with another tire module.
[0009] In an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the holding means consist of a rubber material.
[0010] This ensures that the inside of the tire is not damaged.
[0011] In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the holding means are designed in the form of flat rubber layers.
[0012] This gives the holding devices a high degree of flexibility, allowing the tire module to be clamped with high strength.
[0013] In a further advantageous development of the invention, the two retaining means are connected to each other via a positive connection. This ensures that the upper retaining means cannot detach itself.
[0014] In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the positive connection comprises a rectangular opening on the first holding means and a T-shaped connecting part on the second holding means, which is inserted through the rectangular opening.
[0015] This ensures that both holding devices are firmly connected to each other.
[0016] In a further advantageous development of the invention, the retaining means are integrally bonded to the tire's inner surface on one side. This firmly connects the retaining means to the tire's inner surface.
[0017] In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the material connection comprises an adhesive bond.
[0018] With an adhesive, the two retaining elements can be quickly and firmly connected to the inside of the tire.
[0019] In a further advantageous development of the invention, the retaining means are connected to the inner surface of the tire during tire production. This allows the vehicle tires to be later fitted with tire modules at the customer's site.
[0020] The invention will be explained in more detail using exemplary embodiments. They show: Fig. 1: A vehicle tire with the tire module in a radial section view. Fig. 2: The first holding device in a top view. Fig. 3: The second holding device in a top view. Fig. 4: The first and second holding means in a top view.
[0021] Fig. Figure 1 shows an exemplary embodiment. The schematically illustrated tire module 3 includes, among other things, sensors, an electronic component with an actively transmitting element, an electronic memory, and a power supply, e.g., in the form of a battery. Tire-specific data can be stored and processed in the memory. This data can be transmitted via radio signals to receivers inside or outside the vehicle.
[0022] An electronic module is arranged in the tire module 3, which comprises at least one tire pressure measuring system with a pressure sensor.
[0023] The tire module 3 is fastened to the inside 6 of the tire using the first retaining means 4 and the second retaining means 5. Both retaining means 4 and 5 are made of a rubber material and are each connected to the inside of the tire on one side via a material-to-material connection. The material-to-material connection is, for example, an adhesive 7 with which the first retaining means 4 is connected to the inside of the tire on the left side. The second retaining means 5 is connected to the inside 6 of the tire on the right side using the adhesive 8. Both retaining means have a circular opening through which the tire module 3 is inserted. Since the tire module 3 has a rim on the underside, it cannot slip through the openings of the retaining means. When installing the tire module 3, both retaining means 4 and 5 are folded upwards.
[0024] The Fig. Figure 2 shows the first holding means 4 in a top view. The circular holding opening 9 holds and secures the tire module, which is also circular. The rectangular opening 11 in the first holding means is used to secure the front end 12 of the second holding means.
[0025] The Fig. Figure 3 shows the second holding means 5 in a top view. The circular holding opening 10 for the tire module is located above the holding opening 9 in the first holding means 4. A T-shaped connecting part 12 is arranged at the front end of the holding means 5.
[0026] The Fig. Figure 4 shows a top view of the two retaining means 4 and 5 positioned one above the other. The top side 13 of the tire module is shown schematically on the top side. The T-shaped connecting part 12 is inserted through the rectangular opening in the first retaining means to firmly connect the two retaining means.
