Description

The invention relates to a method for mounting a locking eye of a door lock of a vehicle.Vehicles such as passenger cars typically have doors that can be pivoted substantially about an axis. To secure a respective vehicle door in its closed position, a closing eye is typically provided on the vehicle body side, which is typically designed in the form of a bow. In the prior art, it is known to arrange the locking eye on the vehicle body side with the aid of a threaded plate.DE 10 2009 018 582 A1 relates in this context to a fastening arrangement for a closing element on a door pillar of a motor vehicle, in particular of a passenger vehicle, having a threaded plate which is arranged on a side of the door pillar facing away from the closing element, wherein the threaded plate can be arranged on the door pillar by means of a holder in an assembly position.DE 10 351 446 A1 relates to a threaded plate with a threaded sleeve projecting from a flat base body. The planar base body has at least one spacer element protruding at an angle.EP 3 708 397 A1 discloses a deformable threaded plate which serves to fasten a striker to a vehicle sheet metal body. It has a central support with receiving apertures, two mounting pads and connecting arms with domed portions and necked down tips all formed from a single sheet. This construction enables a position adaptation of the striker, which minimizes the assembly effort. It is the object of the invention to improve the mounting of a locking eye on a body of a vehicle. The invention results from the features of the independent claim. Advantageous refinements and refinements are the subject matter of the dependent claims.A first aspect of the invention relates to a method for mounting a locking eye of a door lock of a vehicle, comprising the steps of:attaching a threaded plate to a clamping holder and attaching the clamping holder to a body of the vehicle, wherein the clamping holder holds the threaded plate at a distance from the body during a subsequent painting;attaching a paint spacer into a mounting hole for the closing eye disposed on the threaded plate such that a gap is maintained between a vehicle door and the body during the subsequent paint treatment;painting the body of the vehicle together with the threaded plate;removing the paint spacer;attaching and tightening a screw in the mounting hole of the screw plate for screwing the screw plate to the body, wherein when tightening the screw, the screw plate is moved relative to the clamping bracket so that the screw plate is pressed to the body by being removed from the original position in the clamping bracket; and attaching the locking eye using the screw that screws the locking eye to the screw plate. The object of the method is to arrange a locking eye on a body, in particular a body shell structure, of a vehicle. The locking eye serves as part of a door lock to hold a closed door on the remaining body structure until an opening mechanism is actuated, for example on a door handle, in order to release the door from the locking eye again. The locking eye is preferably designed in the shape of a bow.First, a threaded plate is arranged on the body with the aid of a clamping holder, so that the threaded plate is at a distance from the body in order to be able to paint during painting even before the closing eye is screwed to the threaded plate, both the threaded plate and the corresponding body surface, for pressing the threaded plate onto it.The threaded plate and the clamping holder are matched to one another in such a way that the clamping holder can be arranged on a body component of the vehicle, in the process holds the threaded plate and fixes it at a distance from the body component of the vehicle. Preferably, the threaded plate is snapped into the clamping holder before painting. For example, clipping may be used. By holding the threaded plate by the clamping holder, the threaded plate cannot be lost. Therefore, frequently necessary reworking by lost threaded plates is no longer necessary. The distance of the threaded plate from the body component advantageously achieves during the painting process that the threaded plate is also painted on a clamping side which, when the screw is screwed into the mounting hole of the threaded plate and the associated pressing of the threaded plate against the body component, rests on the body component. Adhesion of the threaded plate to the vehicle body can thus be ruled out. The clamping side of the body component, against which the threaded plate is pressed in this way, likewise receives a lacquer layer. This improves the corrosion resistance of the threaded plate and the body component, which serves for long-term and permanent holding of the locking eyelet of the door lock.In this case, the composite of threaded plate and clamping holder is advantageously arranged on a side of the body component which is opposite the side with the later arrangement of the locking eye. If the locking eye is arranged on a front side of the body component, the clamping holder is arranged on the rear side of the body component and the threaded plate is held between the clamping holder and the body component at a distance from the body component in order, as described above, to be able to paint together the two clamping sides of the threaded plate and body component which lead later to one another during the painting process. This is followed by the painting operation of the vehicle body including a door. During the painting process, the threaded plate is also painted with the clamping holder, which holds the threaded plate, by the distance of the threaded plate from the body component, in particular on the side which faces the body and is thus pressed against this body component during the later screwing on of the closing eye. After the paint has cured, a defined spacing between a vehicle door and the vehicle body is no longer necessary; the paint spacer can thus be removed again and preferably reused for the assembly of a further vehicle. If a screw is now inserted into the at least one mounting hole of the threaded plate in such a way that the threaded plate is braced with a body element; the threaded plate is thus pulled out of its original position in the clamping holder and pressed against the body element. This process takes place advantageously after the paint has been painted and the paint has cured accordingly. In this case, first a first tightening with limited torque can take place and subsequently, after the fine adjustment, if appropriate, the locking eyelet can be tightened with the aid of the same screw with final torque. As a result of the initial tightening, both the closing eye is fixed in one passage by screwing in the screw and the threaded plate is pulled from its original position on the clamping holder to the body component. In contrast to the conventional method, in this painting process the threaded plate is already arranged on the vehicle body in a fixed manner to the body of the body. This makes it advantageous that an access hole in the body is no longer required for inserting a threaded plate. The threaded plate can be realized in a smaller installation space. In addition, a better operational stability is achieved in the region of a rear door of the vehicle.According to an advantageous embodiment, the clamping holder and the threaded plate are arranged on one another at least up to and including the painting of the vehicle body by a plug connection, wherein the plug connection can be released by overcoming a limit force.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the painting is carried out by applying a cathodic dip painting.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the threaded plate has two mounting holes, wherein the mounting holes are arranged in cylinder elements with internal threads which project from the threaded plate, wherein the clamping holder has respective through-openings through which the cylinder elements of the threaded plate project when the threaded plate is held by the clamping holder at least up to and including the painting of the vehicle body.In order to be able to sufficiently adjust the position of the threaded plate on the body, the cylinder elements are advantageously designed conically, so that from the time the threaded plate is released from its original position in the clamping holder by tightening a screw and is tightened toward the body or the closing eye, the cylinder elements of the threaded plate have more and more play in the through-openings of the clamping holder. This play of the cylinder elements in the through-openings of the clamping holder allows a movement of the threaded plate in its plane of extension in order to position the locking eye correspondingly finely, without having to change the position of the clamping holder subsequently.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the through-openings are designed as collar holes in order to avoid adhesion of the threaded plate to the clamping holder during painting of the vehicle body. This spacing also makes it possible to ensure a coating on both sides between threaded plate and clamping holder.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the paint spacer has protruding bending elements which are designed to be introduced reversibly releasably into one or more mounting holes of the vehicle body components.According to a further advantageous embodiment, a threaded plate is used which has one or more knobs on its side facing the vehicle body.According to a further advantageous embodiment, after an initial tightening of the screw, which fixes the locking eye to the threaded plate, a position of the threaded plate is finely adjusted, wherein the screw is subsequently tightened with a final torque in order to permanently fix the locking eye to the vehicle body. The locking eye can be finely adjusted in its position relative to the body. In this case, the screw for fastening the closing eyelet is easily opened without the screw connection completely losing and slipping the clamping force. The clamping required for this is preferably achieved via the knobs in the threaded plate.According to a further advantageous embodiment, a reinforcing plate is arranged between the body and the locking eye.If such a reinforcing plate is also provided between the locking eye and the vehicle body, the method described paints on the clamping surfaces between the reinforcing plate of the locking eye and the threaded plate on both sides and thus enables better and more favorable corrosion protection.A further aspect relates to a system for mounting a locking eye of a door lock of a vehicle on a body of the vehicle, comprising a threaded plate and a clamping holder, wherein the clamping holder is designed to receive the threaded plate in a releasable manner at a distance from contact surfaces of the clamping holder to a body and comprises at least one mounting hole.Advantages and preferred refinements of the proposed system result from an analogous and analogous transfer of the statements made above in connection with the proposed method.Further advantages, features and details are evident from the following description, in which--possibly with reference to the drawing--at least one exemplary embodiment is described in detail. Identical, similar and / or functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals. The following are shown: FIG. 1 : Perspective view of a threaded plate held by a clamping holder, according to an embodiment of the invention. FIG. 2 : The threaded plate of FIG. 1 isolated and perspectively from below. FIG. 3 : The threaded plate with the clamping holder from a side view. FIG. 4 : The threaded plate with the clamping holder from a plan view. FIG. 5 : The threaded plate with the clamping holder in section during painting. FIG. 6 : The threaded plate with the clamping holder in section after painting when tightening the screws. FIG. 7 : shows a painting spacer during the mounting to the threaded plate according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. The representations in the figures are schematic and not to scale.FIG. 1 shows a composite of a threaded plate 1 and a clamping holder 3 in a perspective view. The clamping holder 3 serves to hold the threaded plate 1 at a distance from a vehicle body in order to paint the threaded plate 1 on its underside as well during a paint-painting process and thus also to risk the regions of the vehicle body below the threaded plate 1, but not adhesion of the threaded plate 1 to the vehicle body. From the threaded plate 1 there are cylinder elements 9 protruding, in the bores of which internal threads are arranged in order to receive screws 7 (cf. FIG. 5 ) therein. In order to hold the threaded plate 1 in the clamping holder 3 in a detachable manner, the clamping holder 3 has lateral tabs into which the threaded plate 1 can be inserted. The threaded plate 1 thus holds itself in the clamping holder 3, but can be released from the clamping holder 3 by tightening the screws 7, and can thus be released downward from the clamping holder 3 in the perspective of FIG. 1.FIG. 2 shows the threaded plate 1 of FIG. 1 in perspective from below. The cross section is visible here and the viewing direction falls into the cylinder elements 9 at a slight angle. On this underside of the threaded plate 1, which is drawn onto the vehicle body when the screws 7 are screwed on, two knobs 11 are also provided in order to simplify the fine adjustment of the position of the threaded plate 1 after painting when the closing eye for the vehicle door is screwed on.FIG. 3 shows the composite of threaded plate 1 and clamping holder 3 from a side view. The left end and the right end of the clamping holder 3 are designed in their respective course such that these ends of the clamping holder 3 can be supported on the vehicle body in order to space the threaded plate 1 from the vehicle body. Thus, the clamping holder 3 forms between its ends a concave recess in which the threaded plate 1 extends, wherein, however, the cylinder elements 9 protrude through through through-openings of the clamping holder 3.FIG. 4 shows the composite of threaded plate 1 and clamping holder 3 from a top view. In this case, the clamping holder 3 can be seen, which largely covers the threaded plate 1 lying beneath it.FIGS. 5 and 6 show a cross section through threaded plate 1 and clamping holder 3 in the perspective as shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 5 shows the state and the relative position of the clamping holder 3 to the threaded plate 1 before and during the painting of the vehicle body with the arrangement of threaded plate 1 and clamping holder 3. The screws 7 are essentially not yet tightened. FIG. 6 shows the state of the clamping holder 3 and threaded plate 1 when the screws 7 are tightened. These screws 7 also serve to permanently arrange the locking eye for the vehicle door on the threaded plate 1.FIG. 7 shows a painting spacer 7 which is used to maintain a defined gap between the vehicle door and the body during painting of the body with the threaded plate 1 fixed to the body. A section through a body panel is shown here, wherein the paint spacer 5 is arranged above the body panel on the side on which the closing eye is arranged after painting. The clamping holder 3 with the threaded plate 1 is correspondingly arranged on a rear side of the body panel. Parts concealed by the body panel are drawn in dashed lines. The paint spacer 5 has bending elements which can hook into the through holes of the body panels but can be released by manual extraction.Although the invention has been illustrated and explained in more detail by preferred exemplary embodiments, the invention is not restricted by the disclosed examples and other variations can be derived therefrom by the person skilled in the art without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
