Description

[0001] With the spring dowel you can create an invisible, very stable, but removable connection between the cabinet sides and the cabinet floors.

[0002] Holes are drilled at an angle of 45 degrees using a specially manufactured drilling template / drilling jig (sheet 1, Fig. 2) into the cabinet side panels. Then, 45-degree holes are drilled into the cabinet floors using another specially designed drilling template (sheet 2, Fig. 3) drilled.

[0003] The holes in the side panels and floors must always be drilled opposite (mirror image) to the counterpart (sheet 3, Fig. 1). The cabinet body with section AA is shown on (sheet 4, Fig. 4).

[0004] In addition, two dowel holes are drilled into the floors and side panels at an angle of 90 degrees on each end face for normal wooden dowels (state of the art).

[0005] Then, specially manufactured 45-degree aluminum sleeves are inserted into the drilled holes so that the sloping sides are flush with the floor edges.

[0006] The aluminum sleeves inserted into the floors are now fitted with the compression springs and then with the manufactured iron dowels (sheet 3, Fig. 1).

[0007] Normal wooden dowels are inserted into the 90-degree holes in the floors.

[0008] As a final step, the floors are pressed into the dowel holes of the side panels using wooden dowels (state of the art), so that when the floors and side panels are flush, the springs automatically press the iron dowels into the drill holes of the side panels.

[0009] The result is a very stable connection.

[0010] The shelves can be removed from the cabinet sides using a strong magnet.

[0011] The magnet is held on the front sides of the side panels at the points where the iron dowels are located and is pulled out of the drilled holes in the cabinet sides into the floors against the compression springs.

[0012] All exact dimensions can be found in the drawings.

[0013] The drilling templates / drilling jigs are part of this invention.

Claims

[1] The iron dowels are characterized by that you can move them with a magnet. [2] The compression springs are characterized by When the cabinet base is pressed together, the iron dowels are pushed into the 45° angled holes in the cabinet side panels. This creates a very stable, invisible, yet removable connection. [3] The aluminum sleeves are characterized by that they do not jam the iron dowel when the temperature of the wood or other materials (chipboard) changes. [4] The oblique boreholes are characterized by The holes should be drilled in opposite directions (mirrored). The drilling angle should be a minimum of 30°, a maximum of 60°, and preferably 45°. [5] The drilling jigs are characterized by They feature a recessed stainless steel tube and a 45° bevel. This prevents the twist drill from wandering when the outer edge of the cutting edge touches the wood or chipboard. [6] The drilling jig is characterized by that they still have removable stop sides, which are used to drill the cabinet sides on the right and left.
