Description

[0001] The invention relates to a mounting device for a display unit, in particular for traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs. This includes traffic signs, visual traffic information, signposts, or information boards for roads, highways, waterways, shipping routes, railways, and squares. These mounting devices are particularly mobile, temporary, and non-stationary for erecting and securing traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs, which are intended to be installed without a fixed connection to the ground.

[0002] Such mounting devices are typically required to erect traffic signs in construction sites, allowing them to be easily removed after the construction site is completed or adapted to the progress of the construction. Electrically operated, switchable traffic signs in the form of LED displays are increasingly being used. This requires a correspondingly stable construction of the mounting device. Furthermore, mounting options for additional devices for programming and / or power supply are required. Such mounting devices must withstand weather and, in particular, wind conditions. Previously known devices are therefore heavy and correspondingly large.

[0003] The invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a mounting device that is easy to transport.

[0004] This object is achieved according to the invention by a mounting device having the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of this mounting device are claimed in subclaims 2 to 10. The wording of these claims is hereby explicitly incorporated into the description by reference.

[0005] A mounting device according to the invention for a display unit, in particular for traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs, comprises, as known per se, a base element for mounting the mounting device on a surface, a mast that is or can be connected to the base element, and at least one holding device for the display unit. The holding device is connected to the mast.

[0006] The mast is designed to be foldable from a folded transport position into an unfolded operating position. The holding device for the display unit is designed to be movable along the unfolded mast. A display unit is preferably arranged on the holding device. The display unit is preferably designed as an LED display or with LED technology.

[0007] The mast is preferably designed to be foldable, in that an upper part of the mast can be pivoted relative to a lower, fixed part about an axis parallel to a plane of the base element. The mast is thus divided into a lower, fixed part of the mast and an upper, foldable, pivoting part of the mast. Fastening belts are provided at the connection point and can be opened to assume the folded transport position. These fastening means can be designed as hinges, for example. To assume the unfolded operating position, the fastening means can be closed and locked. For this purpose, bolts are preferably provided which are inserted into corresponding receiving openings and secure the mast in the unfolded operating position. The positions of the receptacles for the fastening means, preferably bolts, depend largely on the shape of the supporting mast. The bolts are pushed into the receptacles and the corresponding force connection is created by corresponding nuts.

[0008] In a preferred development of the erection device, the folding and locking device is arranged and designed to cooperate with the holding device for the display unit in such a way that the erection device can be folded out from the transport position into the operating position in which the mast is folded out and the holding device is moved up along the folded out mast and is arranged at an upper end of the mast facing away from the floor element.

[0009] In the transport position, the holding device is retracted and located on the base element, and the upper, pivoting part of the mast is folded in above the holding device. In the operating position, the mast is unfolded and the holding device is located at an upper end of the mast facing away from the base element.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment, the mast of the erection device according to the invention is designed as a tube, profile, or crossbeam. The design as a steel crossbeam is preferred, although the invention is not limited thereto. The mast is particularly preferably designed as a tri-mast. Alternatively, the mast can also be designed as a modular truss, as is known, for example, from event technology (stage construction). A design of the mast as a flat, ladder-like element or as a rod-shaped element is also conceivable.

[0011] In a preferred development, the erection device has a motor drive or a manual drive for folding out or in the mast and / or for moving the display unit.

[0012] In a preferred embodiment, the floor element is approximately rectangular in plan view. Preferably, the floor element is made of concrete and / or ballast / weight elements are placed or can be placed on it. This ensures the secure stability of the installation device, allowing it to withstand weather and, in particular, wind conditions as described.

[0013] In a preferred embodiment, the holding device for the display unit is designed to accommodate a frame structure, as is known from utility model DE 20 2013 102 413 U1. However, the invention is not limited to such a design of the holding device.

[0014] The holding device for the display unit is preferably designed as a rotatable device, in particular as a rotatable ring collar. The holding device is rotatable about the mast as the axis of rotation, preferably rotatable through 90 degrees. This provides the advantage that the holding device for the display unit can be rotated parallel to a long side of the base element in the transport position and parallel to a short side of the base element for the operating position. The holding device for the display unit can thus be stowed in a space-saving manner in the transport position.

[0015] In a preferred embodiment, locking means are provided to lock the holding device for the display unit parallel to a long side of the base element in the transport position and parallel to a short side of the base element in the operating position. The fastening is preferably achieved by spring-loaded locking bolts.

[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting device comprises a self-sufficient energy supply device, such as a fuel cell, a solar system, or a wind turbine. A buffer storage device is preferably provided to supply electrically operated traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs and / or optional electrical communication devices.

[0017] The installation device preferably has at least one solar panel, preferably two solar panels. The solar panel is preferably arranged at the upper, free end of the mast and is preferably rotatable through 360° and lockable in 45° increments, as well as adjustable with an inclination of 0° or 30°. Particularly preferably, the at least one solar panel is arranged at least on one pivoting arm, such that the solar panel can be folded out from the transport position essentially parallel to the holding device for the display unit into the operating position essentially as a roof at the upper end of the mast above the holding device for the display unit. The at least one solar panel can thus be stowed away in a space-saving manner in the transport position and can be optimally aligned towards the sun in the operating position.

[0018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, accumulators for energy storage and supply are arranged in the floor element. These accumulators are designed to interact with the at least one solar panel to store the energy generated by the solar panel. In addition to the self-sufficient energy supply, this provides the additional advantage that the accumulators are protected against theft.

[0019] Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the drawings.

[0020] Fig. 1 shows a mounting device according to the invention for a display unit, in particular for traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs. As is known per se, it comprises a base element for mounting the mounting device on a surface, a mast that is or can be connected to the base element, and at least one holding device for the display unit. The holding device is connected to the mast.

[0021] The mast is designed to be foldable from a folded transport position into an unfolded operating position. The holding device for the display unit is designed to be movable along the unfolded mast. A display unit is preferably arranged on the holding device. The display unit is preferably designed as an LED display or with LED technology.

[0022] The mast is preferably designed to be foldable, in that an upper part of the mast can be pivoted relative to a lower, fixed part about an axis parallel to a plane of the base element. The mast is thus divided into a lower, fixed part of the mast and an upper, foldable, pivoting part of the mast. Fastening belts are provided at the connection point, which can be opened to assume the folded transport position. These fastening means can be designed as hinges, for example. To assume the unfolded operating position, the fastening means can be closed and locked. For this purpose, bolts are preferably provided which are inserted into corresponding receiving openings and fasten the mast in the unfolded operating position.

[0023] In a preferred development of the erection device, the folding and locking device is arranged and designed to cooperate with the holding device for the display unit in such a way that the erection device can be folded out from the transport position into the operating position in which the mast is folded out and the holding device is moved up along the folded out mast and is arranged at an upper end of the mast facing away from the floor element.

[0024] In the transport position, the holding device is retracted and located on the base element, and the upper, pivoting part of the mast is folded in above the holding device. In the operating position, the mast is unfolded and the holding device is located at an upper end of the mast facing away from the base element.

[0025] In a preferred embodiment, the mast of the erection device according to the invention is designed as a tube, profile, or crossbeam.

[0026] In a preferred development, the erection device has a motor drive or a manual drive for folding out or in the mast and / or for moving the display unit.

[0027] In a preferred embodiment, the floor element is approximately rectangular in plan view. Preferably, the floor element is made of concrete and / or ballast / weight elements are placed or can be placed on it. This ensures the secure stability of the installation device, allowing it to withstand weather and, in particular, wind conditions as described.

[0028] In a preferred embodiment, the holding device for the display unit is designed to accommodate a frame structure, as is known from utility model DE 20 2013 102 413 U1. However, the invention is not limited to such a design of the holding device.

[0029] The holding device for the display unit is preferably attached to the mast as a rotatable device, in particular as or with a rotatable ring collar. The holding device is rotatable about the mast as its axis of rotation, preferably rotatable through 90 degrees. This provides the advantage that the holding device for the display unit can be rotated parallel to a long side of the base element in the transport position and parallel to a short side of the base element for the operating position. The holding device for the display unit can thus be stowed in a space-saving manner in the transport position.

[0030] In a preferred embodiment, locking means are provided to lock the holding device for the display unit parallel to a long side of the base element in the transport position and parallel to a short side of the base element in the operating position. For this purpose, bolts are preferably provided, which are inserted into corresponding receiving openings and secure the mast in the unfolded operating position.

[0031] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting device comprises a self-sufficient energy supply device, such as a fuel cell, a solar system, or a wind turbine. A buffer storage device is preferably provided to supply electrically operated traffic signs, traffic guidance displays, or information signs and / or optional electrical communication devices.

[0032] The installation device preferably has at least one solar panel, preferably two solar panels.

[0033] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, accumulators for energy storage and supply are arranged in the floor element. These accumulators are designed to interact with the at least one solar panel to store the energy generated by the solar panel. In addition to the self-sufficient energy supply, this provides the additional advantage that the accumulators are protected against theft. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a setting-up device according to the invention in the transport position; Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a mounting device according to the invention in the operating position;

[0034] Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a setting-up device 1 according to the invention in the transport position.

[0035] The installation device 1 comprises a ground element 2 for setting up the installation device on a surface and a mast 3 which is connected to the ground element 2.

[0036] Mast 3 is designed as a steel crossbeam (trimast). The steel crossbeam 3 is foldable.

[0037] The base element 2 is rectangular in plan view and made of concrete. This ensures the secure stability of the installation device and allows the installation device 1 to withstand extreme weather and, in particular, wind conditions. The mounting device 1 further comprises a display unit, in this case an LED display for a traffic control display. The display unit 4 is arranged in a holding device 5, in this case an aluminum frame. The holding device 5 is connected to the mast 3.

[0038] To supply power to the LED display 4 and the control unit (see Fig. 2) two solar panels 6a, 6b are provided. The solar panels 6a, 6b are arranged on a pivoting arm 7, so that the solar panel can be folded out from the transport position essentially parallel to the holding device 5 for the display unit 4 into the operating position essentially as a roof at the upper end of the mast above the holding device for the display unit (see Fig. 2).

[0039] The solar panels 6a, 6b can be rotated 360° and locked in 45° increments, as well as tilted to 0° or 30°. This allows the solar panels 6a, 6b to be stored space-savingly in the transport position and optimally aligned with the sun in the operating position.

[0040] Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a setting device 1 according to the invention in the operating position.

[0041] The mast 3 is designed to be foldable, in that an upper part of the mast 3a can be pivoted relative to a lower, fixed part 3b about an axis parallel to a plane of the floor element 2. The mast 3 is thus divided into a lower, fixed part of the mast 3b and an upper, foldable, pivotable part of the mast 3a.

[0042] Fig. Figure 1 shows mast 3 with the upper, retractable, pivoting part of mast 3a folded down. This is the transport position.

[0043] Fig. Figure 1 shows the mast 3, with the upper, retractable, pivoting part of the mast 3a unfolded and pointing upwards from the base element 2, in extension of the lower, fixed part of the mast 3b. This is the operating position.

[0044] At the connection point 9 between the lower, fixed part of the mast 3b and the upper, foldable, pivotable part of the mast 3a, fastening means, in this case hinges, are provided, which are opened to assume the folded transport position.

[0045] In the present embodiment, the mast 3 is designed as a trimast. Thus, for folding, two of the three vertical struts 10a, 10b are provided with a hinge, indicated by 8 for example, which enables folding. The third vertical strut 10c is split at the connection point 9.

[0046] To lock the trimast 3 in the operating position, a bolt, exemplified as 11a, 11b, is provided on each vertical strut at the connection point 9, which bolts are inserted into corresponding receiving openings and fasten the mast in the unfolded operating position.

[0047] The support device for the display unit is designed to be movable along the extended mast. A display unit is preferably arranged on the support device. The display unit is preferably designed as an LED display or with LED technology.

[0048] The holding device 5 for the display unit 4 is attached to the mast 5 via a rotatable device 11, in this case a rotatable ring collar. The ring collar 11 can be moved up and down the mast and is adjustable to different heights. Furthermore, the ring collar is rotatable about the mast as its axis of rotation, preferably rotatable by 90 degrees. As a result, the holding device 5 for the display unit 4 rotates around the mast 3.

[0049] This allows the holding device 5 for the display unit 4 to be in the transport position, shown in Fig. 1, parallel to a long side of the floor element 2 and for the operating position, shown in Fig. 2, can be rotated parallel to a short side of the base element 2. The holding device for the display unit can thus be stowed in the transport position in a space-saving manner.

[0050] The erection device 1 is thus folded from the transport position into the operating position by unfolding and locking the mast 3 and moving the holding device 5 up along the unfolded mast 3 and arranging it at an upper end of the mast facing away from the base element 3.

[0051] Subsequently, the solar panels 6a, 6b are unfolded by means of the pivot arm 7 from the position substantially parallel to the holding device 5 for the display unit 4 into the operating position, essentially forming a roof at the upper end of the mast above the holding device for the display unit. The solar panels can also be pivoted to an earlier point.

[0052] In this case, the floor element contains two compartments for accumulators for energy storage and supply. These compartments are designed to interact with at least one solar panel to store the energy generated by the solar panel. In addition to the self-sufficient energy supply, this provides the additional advantage of protecting the accumulators from theft. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
