AI Technical Summary
Existing distributor devices for thick materials, such as truck-mounted concrete pumps, face complexity and increased risk of blockages due to the need for multiple pipe bends to adjust the length of the delivery line, making them cumbersome to handle and inefficient.
The delivery line is designed as a 'delivery line scissors' system within the telescopic first mast arm, with a first section articulated at the mast head and a second section articulated relative to a mobile telescopic tube, allowing for length adjustment with fewer pipe bends and improved stability through support and guide elements.
This design minimizes the number of pipe sections required for length adjustment, reduces the risk of blockages, and simplifies the unfolding process, enabling efficient use of space and reducing operational complexity for truck-mounted concrete pumps.

Abstract
Description
Distributor for thick materials and truck-mounted concrete pump Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a distribution device for viscous materials and to a truck-mounted concrete pump with such a distribution device. Description of the state of the art
[0002] Distributor devices for viscous materials, such as those typically used for truck-mounted concrete pumps, comprise a distributor boom formed from several collapsible boom arms and carrying a viscous material conveying line. It is known to design one or more of these boom arms to be telescopic. This raises the problem of adjusting the length of the viscous material conveying line. Solutions exist, for example, that utilize flexible hose sections.
[0003] From DE 198 49 747 C5 a distribution device for viscous materials is known, in which a first mast arm articulated to a mast support is telescopically designed with a first telescopic tube and a second telescopic tube movable relative to it, and the concrete delivery line in the area of the telescopic mast arm is designed as a system of several scissor-like components for the purpose of adjusting the length of the concrete delivery line to the telescoping movement. The conveying line elements are articulated to each other, one of which is articulated at one end with respect to the first telescopic tube and another conveying line element is articulated at its end with respect to the second telescopic tube, wherein the pivot points of the two conveying line elements articulated to the telescopic tubes are arranged essentially alternately crosswise to each other in the two telescopic end positions, and that when one telescopic tube is moved in and out of its telescopic end position the two pivot points pass each other. Summary of the invention
[0004] Based on this, a distribution device for viscous materials with the features of claim 1 and a truck-mounted concrete pump with the features of claim 9 are proposed according to the invention.
[0005] The basic idea of the invention is to design the conveying line for length adjustment to the telescoping movement as a conveying line shear in the area of the telescoping first mast arm. This shear is articulated at one end to the mast head, i.e., below the pivot point of the telescoping first mast arm, and at the other end to the second telescoping tube, which is movable relative to the first telescoping tube. The two sections are rotatably connected to each other about a non-fixed axis of rotation. This arrangement minimizes the number of pipe sections required for length adjustment of the conveying line. Only a first section articulated to the mast head and a second section articulated to the movable telescoping tube are needed.
[0006] Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description and the accompanying drawing.
[0007] It is understood that the features mentioned above and those to be explained below can be used not only in the combinations specified, but also in other combinations or on their own, without leaving the scope of the present invention.

[0023] Identical and similar features depicted in the individual figures are designated with the same reference symbols.
[0024] Figure 1 shows a distributor device 10 for thick materials, as it is used in particular for the purpose of concrete conveying in stationary and especially in mobile applications with truck-mounted concrete pumps (see Figure 14).
[0025] The distributor device 10 comprises a distributor mast 12, which carries a high-density material conveying line or concrete conveying line 14 (hereinafter referred to as conveying line). The distributor mast 12 comprises several mast arms that are connected to each other in a foldable manner. In the illustrated embodiment, the distributor mast comprises five mast arms 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, which are connected to each other in a known roll-Z fold (5RZ). Of course, arrangements according to the invention with more or fewer mast arms are also possible.
[0026] The distribution mast 12 is rotatably connected to a mast head 16 via a so-called A-joint A (which is part of the first telescopic tube TI) at its first mast arm 12.1. At an opposite end, the first mast arm 12.1 is rotatably connected to one end of the second mast arm 12.2 via a so-called B-joint B (which is part of the second telescopic tube T2). The distribution mast 12 can be rotatably mounted via the mast head 16 on a known but not further described substructure 50, in particular by means of a slewing ring 52 (see, for example, Figures 2 to 4 and 13).
[0027] According to the invention, the first mast arm 12.1 is telescopically designed and comprises a first telescopic tube TI and a second telescopic tube T2. The second telescopic tube T2 is extendable relative to the first telescopic tube TI in order to increase the length of the first mast arm 12.1 during operation of the distributor device 10. In the rest position of the distributor device 10 shown in Figure 1, the second telescopic tube T2 is fully retracted, i.e., not telescoped.
[0028] In such configurations of a distribution device with a length-adjustable mast arm, the fundamental problem arises of adjusting the length of the conveying line running along the individual mast arms. As already mentioned, solutions are known from the prior art, but these are disproportionately complex and require a large number of additional pipe bends, which increases the risk of blockages during operation. Furthermore, the known solutions prove to be cumbersome to handle.
[0029] According to the invention, the conveying line 14 in the area of the telescopic first mast arm 12.1 is therefore designed as a conveying line shear 18. The conveying line shear 18 comprises a first line section 18.1 and a second line section 18.2. Both line sections 18.1, 18.2 have essentially straight pipes, at the end of which a 90° pipe bend is arranged for deflection and articulation.
[0030] The first line section 18.1 is hinged at one end about a pivot axis Dl that is fixed relative to the mast head 16. The hinge can be arranged according to the diagram shown. In the exemplary embodiment, a first pipe bend 20 is rotatably attached to a supply line 22 leading out of the mast base 16. At the other end, the first pipe section 18.1 is connected to the second pipe section 18.2 about a non-stationary axis of rotation D3. For this purpose, as shown, a second pipe bend 24 of the first pipe section 18.1 can be rotatably connected to a first pipe bend 26 of the second pipe section 18.2. At the other end, the second pipe section 18.2 is pivoted about an axis of rotation D2 that is fixed relative to the second telescopic tube T2. In the exemplary embodiments of Figures 1 to 6, this fixed axis of rotation D2 is located at the B-joint B of the first mast arm 12.1 (and thus of the second telescopic tube T2). Or in other words: the axis of rotation D2, which is fixed relative to the second telescopic tube T2, is arranged coaxially with the B-joint B.Other configurations of the pivot axis D2, which is fixed relative to the second telescopic tube T2, are possible, as will be described in connection with the embodiment shown in Figures 7ff.
[0031] The connection points of the stationary pivot axes D1, D2 can be arranged on the mast base 16 or the second telescopic tube T2, respectively, by means of support devices 32, 34, as shown. In the case of the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 6, with the stationary pivot axis D2 coaxial with the B-joint B relative to the second telescopic tube, a further support device 36 for the stationary pivot axis D2 can be provided on the second mast arm 12.2.
[0032] Furthermore, the conveying line shear 18 can have support and guide elements 40, 42 to improve the stability of the line sections 18.1, 18.2. A first support and guide element 40 for the first line section 18.1 extends, for example, from the pivot point defining the fixed axis of rotation D1 opposite the mast head 16 between the supply line 22 and the first line section 18.1 to the pivot point defining the non-fixed axis of rotation D3 between the first line section 18.1 and the second line section 18.2.
[0033] A second support and guide element 42 for the second pipe section 18.2 extends, for example, from the pivot point defining the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 between the first pipe section 18.1 and the second pipe section 18.2 to the pivot point defining the stationary axis of rotation D2 relative to the second telescopic tube T2 between the second pipe section and the further conveying pipe 14 (in the case of the embodiments of Figures 1 to 6 at the B-joint B).
[0034] The support and guide elements can advantageously have support elements 44 along their length for the pipe sections 18.1 and 18.2, respectively. In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 6, only the significantly longer second pipe section 18.2 is connected to the second support and guide element 42 by means of (four) support elements 44, while no support elements are provided on the first support and guide element 40. Of course, corresponding support elements can also be provided on the first support and guide element 40, and of course, the second support and guide element 42 can have more or fewer than the four support elements 44 shown.
[0035] In the rest position of the distributor device 10 according to the invention, as shown in Figures 1 to 8 and 13, the distributor mast 12 is in a completely folded state and the first mast arm 12.1 is not telescopic, i.e. the two telescopic tubes TI, T2 are completely retracted and are in the retracted or short telescopic end position.
[0036] In its rest position, the first line section 18.1 extends from its pivot point in the area of the mast head 16, i.e., from the fixed axis of rotation D1 relative to the mast head, essentially in the opposite direction R to the direction in which the first mast arm 12.1 or the distribution mast 12 extends away from the mast head (direction of extension), to the pivot point of the non-fixed axis of rotation D3, where the first line section 18.1 transitions into the second line section 18.2. The second line section 18.2 extends from the non-fixed axis of rotation D3 essentially in the direction of extension R to the fixed axis of rotation D2 relative to the second telescopic tube T2. Naturally, the axes of rotation D1, D2, D3 and the axes of the A and B joints A and B run parallel to each other.
[0037] Regardless of the illustrated embodiments, the geometric relationships can be chosen such that the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 lies outside a plane defined by the stationary axis of rotation D2 (relative to the second telescopic tube) and the axis of the A-joint A. Preferably, the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 lies (vertically) above the plane defined by the stationary axis of rotation D2 (relative to the second telescopic tube) and the axis of the A-joint A. Furthermore, the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 outside, in particular vertically above) a plane spanned by the stationary axis of rotation D2 opposite the second telescopic tube and the stationary axis of rotation D3 opposite the mast head 16.
[0038] As can be seen from the figures, the geometric relationships can also be chosen such that, in the fully folded and non-telescoped rest position, the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 lies beyond a vertical plane V spanned by the axis of the A-joint A (see especially Figures 7 and 8). "Beyond" in this context means that the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 runs on the side of the vertical plane V opposite the distribution mast, or on the side of the vertical plane V furthest from the direction of extension R, or on the side of the vertical plane V furthest from the distribution mast. In the representation of Figures 2 to 8, this means that the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 lies to the right of the axis of the A-joint A or to the right of the vertical plane V. This design ensures that the first mast arm 12.1 can be positioned vertically even with a greater telescopic length (see Figure 12).
[0039] While in the first embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 4 the conveying line shear 18 is arranged completely on one longitudinal side of the first mast arm 12.1 (e.g. viewer side in the representation of Figure 1), the conveying line shear 18 of the embodiment shown in Figures 5 and 6 extends on both sides of the longitudinal extent of the first mast arm 12.1, as can be clearly seen in particular from the top view of Figure 6.
[0040] In this embodiment, the first line section 18.1 is hinged to the right side of the mast head 16 (as viewed in the direction of extension R) and extends (as already described in the first embodiment) in the opposite direction to extension R to the hinge point on the non-stationary axis of rotation D3. An extension pipe 25 is inserted between the two pipe bends 24, 26 for deflecting the first line section 18.1 into the second line section 18.2, such that the deflection between the two line sections 18.1, 18.2 extends around the end face of the mast head 16 and the first mast arm 12.1 around the A-joint A, thus ensuring the connection of the first line section 18.1 on the right side to the second line section 18.2 on the left side. Otherwise, the operating principle (which will be explained in more detail below) corresponds to that of the first embodiment.
[0041] Figures 7 and 8 show a further embodiment of the distributor device according to the invention in its rest position. The distributor device 10 of Figures 7 and 8 differs from the embodiments described in connection with Figures 1 to 6 in that the distance between the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 and the stationary axis of rotation D2 relative to the second telescopic tube is significantly shorter. The connection point for the stationary axis of rotation D2 relative to the second telescopic tube is now arranged by means of a support device 34 at an end of the second telescopic tube T2 pointing towards the A-joint A of the first mast arm 12.1. While in the embodiments of Figures 1 to 6 the second line section 18.2 of the conveying line shear 18 is essentially- whereas previously it extended over the entire length of the first mast arm 12.1, in the embodiment shown in Figure 7 it now extends only essentially over the visible length of the first telescopic tube TI in the short telescopic end position.
[0042] Of course, the characteristics of the illustrated embodiments can also be combined; for example, the embodiment of Figure 7 with a short second line section 18.2 can also finally be designed in the embodiment of Figures 5 and 6 with a first line section 18.1 articulated on the opposite side of the A-joint A.
[0043] The designs shown in Figures 1 to 6 require fewer pipe bends (two fewer pipe bends) compared to the design shown in Figure 7, but require more support (beam elements) and a significantly longer second support and guide element.
[0044] When commissioning the distributor device 10 according to the invention, the telescopy process is preferably carried out first. This is illustrated by way of example for all embodiments with reference to the embodiment of Figure 7 in the sequence of Figures 8 to 12.
[0045] Figure 8 shows the distributor device 10 in a side view in its non-telescoped state, i.e., in the short telescopic end position. When the telescoping process is initiated, the second telescopic tube T2 moves in the extension direction R, i.e., to the left in the view of Figure 8. During this movement, the component opposite the two- ten telescopic tube fixed axis of rotation D2 with the telescopic tube T2 in extension direction R with and thus away from the A-joint A and the non-fixed axis of rotation D3.
[0046] This translational movement exerts a tensile force on the non-stationary axis of rotation D3. Because the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 is located outside (above in the exemplary embodiments) the plane defined by the stationary axis of rotation D2 (relative to the second telescopic tube) and the stationary axis of rotation D1 (relative to the mast head 16), this results in a torque. This torque causes the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 to pivot about the stationary axis of rotation D1 as the center point of a circular segment path (see the sequence of Figures 9 and 10, with Figure 9 in the partially telescoped state and Figure 10 in the fully telescoped state). It should be noted that the geometric relationships of the two pipe sections 18.1, 18.2 of the conveying pipe shear 18 are selected such that the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 does not cross the stationary axis of rotation D1.that the non-stationary axis of rotation D3 does not move beyond a vertical plane spanned by the stationary axis of rotation Dl in the direction of extension R.
[0047] When the first mast arm 12.1 is fully telescoped, i.e., when it is in the long telescopic end position, the distributor device 10 can be adjusted (i.e., raised), as exemplified in Figures 11 and 12, where Figure 11 shows a first mast arm 12.1 angled at approximately 30° and Figure 12 shows a first mast arm 12.1 angled at approximately 90°. The tenth mast arm 12.1 is shown. At a sufficiently high angle of attack, the other mast arms can then be unfolded in the usual manner.
[0048] The telescopic section of the first mast arm 12.1 allows the distributor mast 12 to be extended by approximately 1 m to 2.5 m. This enables a shorter overall vehicle length for a truck-mounted concrete pump with the same mast length. Due to the inventive design of the delivery line shear, fewer pipe bends are required compared to known designs, thus reducing the tendency for blockages.
[0049] When the distributor device according to the invention is used as a truck-mounted concrete pump with five boom arms, it is possible to extend arms 4 and 5 by the extension length of the telescopic arm, so that in the rest position they extend over a driver's cab. This is illustrated by way of example in Figures 13 and 14. Figure 13 shows a perspective view of a distributor device 10 according to the invention with such extended fourth boom arm 12.4 and fifth boom arm 12.5 mounted on a base 50, and Figure 14 shows a truck-mounted concrete pump 60 with the setup of Figure 13, showing how the extended boom arms 12.4, 12.5 extend over a driver's cab 62 of the truck-mounted concrete pump 60.
[0050] In such a constellation, it is of course essential that the first mast arm 12.1 be telescoped before the distributor device 10 is put into operation, as otherwise the driver's cab would be crushed if the distributor mast were raised / positioned immediately. Compared to known distributor devices with five Extending and folding the mast arms is significantly less complex, as previously, to avoid damaging the cab, the folded distribution mast had to be rotated until the ends of the extended arms 4 and 5 were no longer above the cab. This made unfolding operations considerably more difficult in confined construction site conditions when the vehicle was only supported on one side (OSS: One Side Support). The invention simplifies this process because the telescoping process initially takes place in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and during the subsequent erection / unfolding, the delivery line or the ends of the extended arms 4 and 5 no longer protrude beyond the side of the vehicle. Overall, the invention enables efficient use of installation space on a truck-mounted concrete pump with a longer mast and reduced unfolding time.
[0051] According to the invention, a translation of a rotary axis D2 (moving with the second telescopic tube) resulting from the telescopic movement of the first mast arm is converted into a rotational movement of a non-locally fixed rotary axis D3 around a locally fixed rotary axis D1, whereby a conveying line shear formed from two pipe sections is opened and the conveying line length is adjusted to the telescoping movement.
