Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a limit switch device for a slatted blind, in particular to an easily adjustable or adjustable limit switch device. The invention further relates to a slatted blind comprising such a limit switch device and to a method for adjusting or setting a slatted blind. State of the art
[0002] Venetian blinds, also known as slatted blinds or adjustable louvered blinds (BSO), are commonly used to cover building openings such as windows. The slats can be raised or lowered as needed and also tilted along their longitudinal axis to control the amount of light entering the room. Their dimensions must therefore be adapted to the size of the openings they cover, particularly their length, as well as their travel from their raised or top position, leaving the opening unobstructed, to their lowered position, allowing the opening to be completely darkened. Raising and lowering the blind is done using a winch that winds the slats around a central axis. To prevent jamming or malfunctions, end stops must be fitted to the winch to adjust the winding length of the slats.
[0003] Since the winch is housed within the casing or the traction and tilting mechanism of the slatted blind, the limit switches are generally set at the factory during blind assembly. However, during the installation of such slatted blinds, adjustments to their length, and consequently their travel or their top and bottom points, are often required to adapt them on-site to the dimensions of the opening. Existing systems then require dismantling the winch to make the necessary adjustments, which represents a costly undertaking.
[0004] There is therefore room to improve existing devices in order to facilitate their adjustment, particularly during their installation or maintenance. Brief summary of the invention
[0005] An aim of the present invention is to provide a slatted blind end-of-travel device which is easily adjustable to the size of the slatted blind, in particular to the length of its travel and / or to the position of its high and low points.
[0006] Another aim of the invention is to offer a limit switch device adaptable to a wide variety of slatted blinds, or even universal.
[0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of installing and / or adjusting a slatted blind which is simple and rapid, that is to say, which requires a minimum of operations.
[0008] According to the invention, these goals are achieved in particular by means of the elements described in the independent claims and detailed in the dependent claims.
[0009] This solution has the particular advantage over the prior art of facilitating the installation and / or adjustment of slatted blinds and of limiting the manufacturing and / or installation costs of such slatted blinds. Brief description of the figures
[0010] Examples of implementation of the invention are shown in the description illustrated by the figures below: Figure 1 : Exploded perspective view of a slatted blind mechanism according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 : Enlargement of the figure 1 , regarding the details of the limit switch device with stops in functional position, Figure 3 Details of the limit switch device with stops in the adjustment position, Figure 4 Example of a limit switch according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 5 : Example of a slider element according to an embodiment of the present invention. Example(s) of an embodiment of the invention
[0011] In reference to the Figures 1 and 2 the slatted blind mechanism 1 includes a building 10 intended to be fixed at the level of a building opening, in this case at the top of such an opening and transversely to the opening. The frame 10 includes for this purpose means of fastening 11 Suitable options include perforated mounting brackets that can be screwed to the building. Other equivalent methods may be considered. The frame 10 includes accommodation 12 into which are inserted the elements that allow the operation of the slatted blind, or part thereof. The frame 10 can take the form of a profile with an opening 13 Oriented downwards when the blind is installed on the building, and allowing passage of the suspension cables or straps used to operate the slatted blind. The opening 13can be longitudinal along the entire length of the frame 10 or on a significant portion of the building 10. Ideally, it should be located at least at the level of suspense. 23 and the limit switch device 40, described in more detail later, so as to leave the blind accessible to an operator once installed on a building. This does not preclude the possibility of installing removable protective covers to protect the limit switch device. The frame 10 can thus include two lateral edges 10a and an upper edge 10b, which define the dwelling 12.
[0012] The terms "upper," "lateral," "lower," "horizontal," and "vertical," as well as upward and downward orientations, and their equivalents, should be understood according to their usual meanings. In particular, these terms apply to the device described herein when it is in its operating position, that is, installed on a building so as to block an opening. The term "translation" is understood as a direct translational movement between two elements, in the absence of other mechanical movements such as rotation. In this case, the translation of the sliding element 43 along the threaded element 44 refers to direct translation without the involvement of threads.
[0013] The slatted blind mechanism 1 It also includes a winding axis 20 preferably located in the accommodation 12 of the building 10 and a training device 30fixed to the frame 10 and allowing the winding axis to rotate 20. The training device 30 may for example include a crank operable by an operator and a universal joint, or an electric motor or any equivalent arrangement.
[0014] Rotation of the winding axis 20 allows the slatted blind to be raised or lowered, depending on the direction of rotation, using straps or suspensions which wrap around the axis or unroll.
[0015] The slatted blind mechanism 1 may further include variators 21 allowing each to activate a game of two suspense 23 fixed on the opposite edges of the slats so that their inclination can be modulated.
[0016] The slatted blind mechanism 1 also includes an end-of-course device 40allowing the rotation of the winding shaft to be stopped 20 in both directions of rotation. For this purpose, it includes a first end stop. 41, a second end stop 42 and a cursor element 43 arranged between the first 41 and second 42 limit switches. It also includes a threaded element 44 acting as a worm gear driven in rotation by the drive shaft 20. The threaded element can therefore be fixed in rotation or be an integral part of the winding axis. 20. According to one embodiment, the threaded element 44 is mounted on the drive shaft 20. The internal geometry of the threaded element 44 is advantageously complementary to the geometry of the winding axis 20,for example, with a square or rectangular cross-section, so as to remain fixed during rotation. According to one embodiment, the threaded element 44 includes an internal anti-rotation device 440 such as a lip inserted into a longitudinal rib of the winding axis 20 so as to hold the threaded element 44 integral in rotation with the winding axis 20.
[0017] The threaded element 44 has a thread on its outer surface along all or part of its length.
[0018] The cursor element 43 includes at least one primary support surface 431 allowing it to maintain its orientation within the building 10. In this case, the first support surface 431 is supported on an internal surface of the frame 10 so as to prevent the cursor element from rotating 43 when the winding axis 20,and therefore the threaded element 44, are rotated. The cursor element 43 may include a second holding surface 432 intended to rest on another internal surface of the frame 10. For example, the first 431 and second 432 The support surfaces can be positioned opposite each other and each designed to rest against a lateral edge. 10a of the building 10. The dimensions of the slider element 43 are therefore adapted to the width of the accommodation 12 of the building 10. Other arrangements may be considered, where one of the first 431 and second 432 holding surfaces, or an additional holding surface, rests on the inside of the upper edge 10b of the building 10. The first 431 and second 432 The retaining surfaces can correspond to the outer edges of the slider element. 43.The support surfaces are preferably located in planes parallel to the winding axis. 20 and to the edges of the structure on which they lean.
[0019] The cursor element 43 has a recess, or a through hole 430 Dimensioned to allow passage for the threaded element 44. The through hole has at least one threaded surface cooperating with the thread of the threaded element. 44.
[0020] It follows from this provision that when the threaded element 44 is set in rotation by means of the winding shaft 20, the relative transverse position of the cursor element 43 and the threaded element 44 varies proportionally to the number of turns of the winding shaft 20, as symbolized by arrow L, due to the cooperation between the thread of the threaded element 44 and the through hole 430 of the cursor element43. In other words, the cursor element 43 moves in translation relative to the threaded element 44 along the longitudinal axis of the winding axis 20. This relative translational movement is possible because at least one or the other of the cursor element 43 and the threaded element 44 is free to move in translation relative to the building 10. According to one embodiment, the cursor element 43, although held in place by its retaining surface(s) 431, 432, can slide into the frame 10. Alternatively, or in addition, the threaded element 44, although rotationally fixed to the winding axis 20 can slide in translation along it.
[0021] The relative translational movement between the cursor element 43 and the threaded element 44 remains possible until the cursor element 43come to a stop against one of the first 41 and second 42 stops. The first 41 and second 42 The stops are rotationally fixed to the threaded element. 44 and / or the winding axis 20. It is indeed possible that one or both stops are fixed to the winding shaft. 20 and includes a contact surface arranged at the level of the threaded element 44 so as to stop the translation of the cursor element 43 on the threaded element 44. However, such a remote arrangement is not preferred. Preferably the first 41 and second 42 The stops are integral with the threaded element. 44. They can be independently attached to one of its ends or to its circumference.
[0022] The distance between the first 41 and second 42stops is proportional to the travel of the slatted blind between its extended or lowered position, and its retracted or raised position. The extended position refers to the position of the blind when it is fully lowered, thus obscuring as much as possible the opening it covers. The retracted or raised position refers here to the highest position of the blind, leaving the corresponding opening of the building free.
[0023] The first 41 and second 42 stops can be independently fixed or adjustable relative to the threaded element 44. Preferably at least one of the first 41 and second 42 stop is adjustable relative to the threaded element 44. An adjustable stop means a stop whose longitudinal position on the threaded element 44 can be modified or adjusted by an operator.
[0024] There figure 4shows an example of an adjustable stop according to the present invention. Such a stop comprises a first stop portion 420 and a second part of the stop 421 which can be at least partially separated from each other. In their associated configuration, they enclose the threaded element 44 so as to be integral in rotation with it. Advantageously, the internal surface of the first 420 and second 421 stop parts, facing each other, are threaded so that their tightening on the threaded element 44 does not damage the thread of the threaded element. The at least partial dissociation of the first 420 and second 421 stop parts allow the adjustable stop to be separated from the threaded element 44 and place it in a suitable position on the threaded element 44. A partial dissociation designates for example a state where the first 420 and second 421the parts remain physically connected but sufficiently far apart to detach from the threaded element 44 that they surround and allow translational movement along the threaded element 44. Alternatively, the partial dissociation of the first 420 and second 421 The parts allow for a simple loosening of the stop, thus permitting its rotation around the threaded element. 44. In this case, the stop can be held while the winding axis 44 is rotated a certain number of times until it reaches a suitable position on the threaded element 44, before being rotated back into place. In this case, the adjustable stop can remain attached to the mechanism without risk of falling. Alternatively, the first 420 and second 421parts remain physically linked to each other by only one of their ends and are completely separated from each other at their second end. In the case of a completely dissociated stop, the first 420 and second 421 parts are completely independent of each other, which allows, for example, the stop to be removed from the mechanism to replace it, without having to dismantle other elements.
[0025] The assembly of the first 420 and second 421 stop parts allows the adjustable stop to be tightened again on the threaded element 44 to serve as an end stop. The adjustable stop can thus be moved along the threaded element 44 and / or replaced without having to dismantle the other elements of the slatted blind mechanism 1. In this case, the first 420 and second 421 stop parts can be separated and assembled around the threaded element44 by an operator via the opening 13 of the building 10.
[0026] The first 420 and second 421 The abutment sections can, for example, form a flange, being joined together at one of their ends by a hinge or a pivot pin. 422 allowing their articulation, and being able to be locked to each other at their opposite end by a locking device 423a, 423b. Such a locking device may for example comprise a bolt and a threaded hole or a bolt associated with a nut, a retractable flange on a lug, a clipping system or any equivalent. Alternatively, two locking devices may be arranged at each of the ends of the first and second stop parts so as to be able to completely separate them from each other.
[0027] A fixed stop, on the other hand, is not adjustable relative to the threaded element. 44.It can be, for example, glued, welded, or molded integrally with the threaded element. 44. A fixed stop is preferably provided at one end of the threaded member 44.
[0028] The first stop 41 can be arranged at one end of the threaded element 44 or close to this end and the second stop 42 can be arranged at the opposite end of the threaded element 44 or close to this end.
[0029] Each of the first 41 and second 42 stops correspond to one of the upper and lower positions of the slatted blind. According to one embodiment, the first stop 41 corresponds to the high position of the slatted blind and the second stop 42 corresponds to the low position of the slatted blind. According to another embodiment, the first stop 41 corresponds to the lower position of the slatted blind and the second stop42 corresponds to the high position of the slatted blind.
[0030] According to one embodiment, the first stop 41 is fixed and the second stop 42 is adjustable. According to another embodiment, the first stop 41 is adjustable and the second stop 42 is fixed.
[0031] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the position of the cursor element 43 on the threaded element 44 can be adjusted by an operator. For this purpose, the slider element 43 can be detached from the threaded element, at least partially, so as to be able to perform a translational movement along the threaded element 44 in the absence of rotation of the drive shaft 20. In other words, the relative position of the cursor element 43 and first 41 and second 42 stops can be adjusted by translation of the slider element 43relative to the threaded element 44, for a given position of the slatted blind. According to one embodiment, the slider element 43 has a first part of cursor element 433 and a second part of the cursor element 434 which can be at least partially separated from each other. In their associated configuration, they enclose the threaded element 44 while allowing its rotation. At least one of the internal surfaces 4330, 4340 the first 433 and second 434 parts of the slider element, facing each other, is threaded so as to allow rotation of the threaded element once the slider element is 44 positioned.
[0032] The at least partial dissociation of the first 433 and second 434 parts of cursor element allows to detach the cursor element 43 of the threaded element 44and place it in a suitable position on the threaded element 44. The assembly of the first 433 and second 434 slider element parts allows the slider element to be tightened again onto the threaded element 44 without hindering the rotation of the threaded element 44 in the through hole of the slider element formed by the internal surfaces 4330 And 4340 opposite. The cursor element 44 can thus be moved along the threaded element 44 without having to dismantle the other elements of the slatted blind mechanism 1. In this case, the first 433 and second 434 Slider element parts can be disassembled and assembled around the threaded element 44 by an operator via the opening 13 of the building 10.
[0033] The first 433 and second 434parts of the slider element may form, for example, a flange, being linked together at one of their ends by a hinge or a pivot pin 435 allowing their articulation, and being able to be locked to each other at their opposite end by a slider element locking device 436a, 436b. Such a locking device may for example comprise a bolt and a threaded hole or a bolt associated with a nut, a retractable flange on a lug, a clipping system or any equivalent. Alternatively, two locking devices may be arranged at each of the ends of the first 433 and second 434 parts of the cursor element so that they can be completely separated from each other.
[0034] According to one embodiment, the internal surface 4330, 4340 of only one of the first 433 and second 434One part is threaded, the other of the internal surfaces being smooth. The through hole formed by the first 4330 and second 4340 The internal surfaces are dimensioned to support the threads of the threaded element. 44 engaged with the thread of the internal threaded surface. The smooth internal surface can match the external diameter of the thread of the threaded element. 44 or be slightly larger, provided that the threads remain meshed with each other. According to one embodiment, the first internal surface 4330, in the upper position, has a thread, and the second internal surface 4340, In its lower position, it is smooth so as to act as a support for the threaded element. 44. According to such a provision, when the first 433 and second 434 If parts of the cursor element are dissociated, at least partially, it is sufficient to lift the cursor element. 43to disengage the threads and thus allow its positioning elsewhere on the threaded element 44. According to another embodiment, the first internal surface 4330, In the upper position, it is smooth, and the second internal surface 4340, in the lower position, it has a thread. Thus, when the second part 434 is separated from the first, the corresponding thread is automatically disengaged from the threaded element 44. The cursor element 43 can then slide freely on the threaded element 44, particularly by means of the first internal surface 4330.
[0035] According to one embodiment, the first part 433 of the cursor element, in the upper position, and the second part 434 The sliding element, in its lower position, can be detached so as to fully open the through hole. 430, that is, across the entire width of the cursor element43. Thus the cursor element 43 can be completely detached from the winding axis 20.
[0036] According to one embodiment, visible in more detail in the figure 6 , one of the first 433 and second 434 parts form a cursor element body 437 including a third internal surface 4300 around the hole through 430. The cursor element body 437 thus forms an integral part, i.e. not divisible or dissociable, surrounding the threaded element 44 on a body thickness E2 less than the total thickness E1 of the cursor element 43 ( Fig.5 ). The body thickness E2 may for example represent from 10% to 90%, such as one third, half or two thirds, of the total thickness E1 of the cursor element 43. Thus the other of the first 433 and second 434parts only dissociate over a fraction of the thickness of the cursor element 43.
[0037] The third internal surface 4300 may be of a thickness E2 corresponding to the thickness of the cursor element body 435. However, this is not an essential condition. It can, for example, be narrower. The third internal surface 4300 can be sized to serve as a guide or permanent support for the slider element 43 on the threaded element 44 while allowing its translation along the threaded element 44. According to the configurations of the first 433 and second 434 parts of the cursor element 43, It can form a smooth, circular surface in contact with the threaded element. 44, either with a diameter corresponding to the outside diameter of the threaded element 44or slightly larger. It can alternatively take a shape allowing it not to be in total contact with the entire circumference of the threaded element 44. For example, it can form a circular surface with a diameter greater than the diameter of the threaded element. 44. Alternatively, it can form an ovoid surface, making the through hole 430 oblong on the thickness E2 of the cursor element body 437. In this case, the largest diameter of this ovoid surface is preferably oriented vertically, so as to allow vertical movement of the slider element 43 relative to the threaded element 44.
[0038] According to one embodiment, the first part 433 of the slider element, in the upper position, is integrated into the slider element body 435. Its first internal surface 4330 is threaded so as to cooperate with the thread of the threaded element44. Its third internal surface 4300 is sized so as to be in contact with the upper part of the threaded element 44 and to leave its lower part free. The free space left between the third internal surface and the threaded element 44 is designed to allow the thread to be cleared from the internal surface 4330 of the thread of the threaded element 44. The second part 434 of the cursor element 43, In its lower position, it is smooth and allows the threaded element to be held in place. 44 in the through hole formed by the first 433 and second 434 parts when it is in its functional position, associated with the first part. When the second part 434 is dissociated, at least partially, from the first part 433, the cursor element 43 can be raised within the limits permitted by the third internal surface 4300.When the cursor element 43 is in the raised position, the upper part of the third internal surface 4300 is no longer in contact with the threaded element 44 and the threading of the first internal surface 4330 detaches from that of the threaded element 44. The cursor element 43 can thus slide along the threaded element 44 to a suitable position. The third internal surface 4300 is preferably completely smooth. It may nevertheless have a thread in the upper position, in continuity with the thread of the first part 433, which can disengage from the threaded element 44 during the disengagement of the first party 433.
[0039] Other alternatives may be considered as needed. For example, the second part 434, in lower position can be integrated into the slider element body 435and have an internal surface 4340 threaded. When the second part 434 is dissociated from the first, at least partially, the corresponding thread is automatically disengaged from that of the threaded element 44. In this case, the slider element can slide along the threaded element. 44 thanks to its first internal surface and third internal surface 3400 Both are smooth, without needing to push it upwards. This arrangement allows the third internal surface to be in contact around the entire circumference of the threaded element. 44 provided that it allows the slider element to slide 43 along the threaded element 44. Alternatively, the third internal surface 4300 can be oblong, allowing upward or downward movement of the slider element. 43 relative to the threaded element 44.
[0040] This description further covers a method of adjusting a limit switch device. 40 as described herein, in particular when the slatted blind is already fixed to a building. Such an adjustment method in this case makes it possible to adjust the winding end positions of the slatted blind according to the length of the blind and / or the opening of the building. The present method comprises one or more of the following steps depending on the provisions.
[0041] A step of positioning the slatted blind to a predetermined position, such as its low position, its high position or an intermediate position.
[0042] The method comprises a step of at least partially separating the first part 433 and the second part 434 of the cursor element 43. The decoupling is carried out directly through the opening 13 of the building 10 allowing access to housing 12.It can be easily operated by unlocking the locking device(s). 436a, 436b of the cursor element 43. Unlocking can be done manually without tools in the case of, for example, clips or elastic clamps, or with tools such as a screwdriver or wrench in the case of screw or bolt locking. The first 433 and the second part allows the thread to be separated from the threaded element 44 of the one present on the cursor element 43.
[0043] This method includes the step of dragging the cursor element in translation. 43 relative to the threaded element 44. This step is performed without changing the position of the blind or initiating any rotation of the threaded element. 44. Depending on the configuration, the translation can be performed in different ways. For example, the cursor element 43can be slid into the frame housing 10, remaining held by one or more of its retaining surfaces 431, 432 while the threaded element 44 remains fixed on the winding axis 20. Alternatively, the threaded element 44 can slide longitudinally on the winding axis 20 while the cursor element 44 is held in a fixed position. Alternatively, the cursor element 43 can slide into its housing 12 and the threaded element 44 can slide along the winding axis 20, This also has the advantage of moving the entire limit switch assembly along the winding axis. 20 and thus adapt it to the configuration or the size of the slatted blind mechanism.
[0044] The method includes a step to position the cursor element 43at the appropriate location on the threaded element and combine its first 430 and second 434 parts so as to reconnect the thread of the threaded element 44 with that of the internal surface(s) 4330 And 4340. The correct position of the cursor element 43 may be for example in contact with one of the first 41 or second 42 stop. This can be the case, for example, for determining the upper and / or lower positions of the slatted blind.
[0045] Alternatively, markers may be provided at the frame 10 or the winding axis so as to match a position of the slatted blind with a relative position of the slider element. 43 and the threaded element 44. Alternatively, positioning notches can be provided on the frame 10so as to position the slider element 43 at predetermined locations. Positioning notches can also be provided for the threaded element. 44.
[0046] The method may further include a step or set of steps for addressing one or both of the first 41 and second 42 stops, if applicable. Adjusting a stop may, for example, include the steps described above for the slider element 43. In this case, adjusting an adjustable stop involves dissociating the first 420 and second 421 parts of the stop, the translation of this stop along the threaded element 44 and the locking of this stop onto the threaded element 44 so as to be once again united in rotation.
[0047] This description also covers a slatted blind including an adjustable limit switch device described herein. Reference numbers used in the figures
