Abstract

A system for carbon capture following an industrial process is presented. The system comprises a plurality of modules configured to be remotely prefabricated from an industrial installation site, transported to the industrial installation site, and interconnected at the industrial installation site. Each module of the plurality of modules includes equipment configured to perform one or more subprocesses of a carbon capture process. The subprocess(es) are selected from the following group: a pre-scrubbing subprocess, an absorbent recovery subprocess, an absorbent regeneration subprocess, a dehydration subprocess, and a deoxygenation subprocess. Claims

1. A system for capturing carbon following an industrial process, the system comprising: a plurality of modules configured to be prefabricated remotely from an industrial installation site, transported to the industrial installation site, and interconnected together at the industrial installation site, wherein each module of the plurality of modules comprises equipment configured to perform one or more sub-processes of a process for capturing carbon, the one or more sub-processes being selected from the group consisting of a pre-scrubber sub-process, an absorbent recovery sub-process, an absorbent regeneration sub-process, a dehydration sub-process, and a deoxygenation sub-process.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the group of one or more subprocesses includes additional subprocesses.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein each module of the plurality of modules is configured to perform a single subprocess of the one or more subprocesses of the process for carbon capture.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of modules is configured to be transported via normal modes of transportation, including via normal-sized road configurations and non-oversized truck configurations.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein each module of the plurality of modules is individually replaceable and configured to interact with other modules of the plurality of modules.
