Description

Title of the invention: ARM AWNING Scope of application

[0001] The present invention relates to an arm awning.

[0002] The awning in question is intended to be used advantageously to cover exterior surfaces by protecting them from bad weather and in particular from the sun and rain.

[0003] In more detail, the awning in question is preferably intended to be fixed to the wall of a building above an opening, such as a door or a window, to cover an exterior surface adjacent to the wall itself and accessible to the opening, such as a terrace or a garden, a veranda, etc.

[0004] The awning in question is therefore intended to be inserted into the industrial sector of the production of accessories for the home, in the carpentry sector and in the sector of the production of structures for sheltering from the sun and similar applications. State of the art

[0005] Arm awnings are known on the market equipped with a horizontal box fixed to a wall of a building by two or more fixing frames and carrying mounted a rotating roller, on which a covering canvas is wound, and two or more articulated arms connected to the canvas to stretch it when it is unwound by the rotating roller.

[0006] In particular, the canvas is fixed with its rear edge to the rotating roller and with its front edge to a front profile, which is movable, following the rotation of the rotating roller, between a closed position, in which the canvas is wound around the roller, and an open position, in which the canvas is unwound by the roller to cover the underlying surface.

[0007] Each articulated arm is equipped with a first attachment part hinged to the box and a second attachment part hinged to the front profile, and can exert a force on the front profile even to push it away from the box, in order to keep the canvas taut, in particular when the latter is at least partially unwound by the rotating roller.

[0008] In addition, the trunk is equipped with at least one front opening, which is defined by two longitudinal edges, is crossed by the canvas, and is closed by the front profile when the latter is in the closed position.

[0009] In particular, the front profile is equipped with an inner side facing the trunk and delimited by two inner edges, which abut against the longitudinal edges of the trunk when the front profile itself is in the closed position, so as to guarantee the closure of the front opening of the trunk.

[0010] The trunk is equipped, along the longitudinal edges of its front opening, with inclined invitation portions capable of intercepting the inner edges of the front profile when the latter is brought towards the closed position, in order to guide the inner edges of the front profile to correctly mate with the longitudinal edges of the front opening of the trunk.

[0011] A disadvantage of the awnings with arms of the known type briefly described above is due to the fact that the front profile is subjected to bending by the effect of the force exerted on it by each articulated arm. In more detail, this bending deforms the front profile, making it take on a substantially arched shape in the direction of the box with the central section of the front profile curved towards the box itself by 1-2 centimeters compared to the ends of the front profile itself. Because of this deformation, during the closing phase of the canvas, the central section of the front profile comes into abutment against the box before the ends of the front profile itself. Therefore, in correspondence of the central section of the frontal profile, the inner edges of the latter tend to continue along the invitation parts of the trunk penetrating inside the latter beyond the longitudinal edges of the frontal opening of the trunk itself, thus causing the central section of the frontal profile to enter excessively inside the trunk. In addition, the ends of the frontal profile may not reach the trunk, leaving cracks between the latter and the trunk, with a consequent incorrect closing of the frontal opening of the trunk itself.

[0012] This situation, in particular, includes a possible entry of bad weather inside the trunk and can give rise to soiling phenomena which promote deterioration of the canvas.

[0013] Furthermore, the absence of coupling between the front profile and the trunk represents a significant aesthetic defect with the front profile in the closed position. Disclosure of the invention

[0014] In this situation, the problem underlying the present invention is that of providing an arm awning which allows precise coupling between the box and the front profile with the latter in a closed position, in particular without leaving slots between the box and the front profile and without the latter entering excessively into the box itself.

[0016] Another object of the present invention is to provide an arm awning which is functionally reliable.

[0017] Another object of the present invention is to provide an arm awning which is economical and simple to construct.

[0037] Detailed description of a preferred embodiment

[0038] With reference to the attached figures, the arm awning which is the subject of the present invention is indicated as a whole by 1.

[0039] The arm awning 1 in question is advantageously intended to be fixed to a supporting element, such as for example a surrounding wall, a veranda, a loggia, a terrace, a pergola, a roof or other similar structures, to adjustably cover a ground surface adjacent to the supporting element while protecting it from the sun, rain, etc. In addition, the arm awning 1 in question is preferably intended to be arranged above an opening, such as in particular a door, a window, a display window or the like, obtained on said supporting element to protect this opening from the sun.

[0040] With reference to Figures 1 and 2, the awning 1 which is the subject of the present invention comprises a box 2 which extends along a first dominant development axis X, preferably between two first opposite ends 24, is equipped with a front opening 21 and is intended to be fixed to said supporting element, in particular with said first dominant development axis X in a substantially horizontal position.

[0041] The trunk 2 further comprises a longitudinal edge 22 which is equipped with an upper longitudinal edge 221 and a lower longitudinal edge 222 which develop along the first dominant development axis X and delimit between them said front opening 21 (as shown for example in [Fig.4]).

[0042] Advantageously, the trunk 2 is equipped with a box-like body, hollow internally, open at the front in correspondence with the front opening 21.

[0043] Preferably, the box-like body of the trunk 2 comprises a rear wall 26 which can be arranged adjacent to the supporting element, and an opposite front face on which said front opening 21 is obtained. Optionally, as seen for example in [Fig.3], the upper part 26 is arched, with a concavity preferably facing said front opening 21.

[0044] The trunk 2 advantageously comprises an upper part 27' and a lower part 27”, each of which extends in connection between the rear wall 26 and the front face. Preferably, the upper part 27' extends cantilevered from the rear wall 26 to the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the longitudinal border 22, and the lower part 27” extends cantilevered from the rear part 26 to the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the longitudinal border 22.

[0045] The trunk 2 preferably comprises two side walls, each of which is arranged in correspondence with a first end 24 of the trunk 2 itself.

[0046] Furthermore, the arm awning 1 comprises a roller 3, which is pivotally mounted inside the box 2 around a first axis of rotation R parallel to the first dominant development axis X, and a fabric 4 constrained to the roller 3 itself and windable around the latter.

[0047] In more detail, the roller 3 of the arm awning 1 is hinged at its ends to the box 2, in particular to the side walls of the latter, and can be rotated about the first axis of rotation R in a motorized and manual manner. For this purpose, advantageously, the arm awning 1 comprises, in a known manner, a motor mechanically connected to the roller 3 or a control rod engaged through an articulation to the roller 3, to rotate the latter in order to unroll or wind the fabric 4 around the roller 3 itself.

[0048] Advantageously, the canvas 4 has a rectangular shape and is equipped with a first end edge fixed to the roller 3 and a second end edge opposite the first end edge.

[0049] The arm awning 1 further comprises a front profile 5, which is fixed to the fabric 4 preferably in correspondence with said second end edge, and develops, preferably between two second opposite ends 54, along a second dominant development axis Y substantially parallel to the first dominant development axis X of the box 2.

[0050] In more detail, with reference to [Fig.5], the frontal profile 5 is equipped with an inner side 51 directed towards the trunk 2, and comprises an inner border 52 which is equipped with an upper inner edge 521 and a lower inner edge 522 which develop along the second dominant development axis Y and delimit between them said inner side 51.

[0051] The front profile 5 is movable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position (illustrated in the example of [Fig. 3]), the canvas 4 is arranged inside the box 2 wound around the roller 3 and the front profile 5 is arranged at least substantially closing the front opening 21 of the box 2 with the border inner 52 arranged at least partially coupled to the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2 in a determined coupling position. In the open position (illustrated in the example of figures 1 and 2) the canvas 4 is at least partially unwound by the roller 3 advantageously at least partially outside the trunk 2 through said front opening 21, and the front profile 5 is arranged away from the trunk 2.

[0052] In this context, for at least partially coupled it is understood that, with the front profile 5 in the closed position, at least one section of the inner edge 52 of the inner profile 5 is arranged in abutment (possibly indirectly) against at least one corresponding section of the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2.

[0053] Advantageously, in accordance with the particular embodiment illustrated in the attached figures, in the closed position, the front profile 5 is arranged in complete closure of the front opening 21 of the trunk 2, with the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 arranged coupled to the entire longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2. In more detail, according to this embodiment, the upper inner edge 521 of the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 is arranged coupled to the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the longitudinal edge of the trunk 2, and the lower inner edge 522 of the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 which is arranged coupled to the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the longitudinal edge of the trunk 2.

[0054] According to a different embodiment not illustrated in the attached figures, in the closed position, the front profile 5 is arranged in partial closure of the front opening 21 of the trunk 2, in which the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 is arranged coupled only to a partial section of the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2. For example, according to this embodiment, the upper inner edge 521 of the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 is arranged coupled to the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the longitudinal edge of the trunk 2, while the lower inner edge 522 of the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 is uncoupled from the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the longitudinal edge of the trunk 2, or vice versa.

[0055] In particular, the box 2 and / or the front profile 5 are obtained with a corresponding profile, in particular metallic, obtained for example by extrusion.

[0056] Advantageously, the arm awning 1 comprises at least two articulated arms 8, each equipped with a first hinge end 81' constrained to the box 2, and a second opposite hinge end 81”, which carries mounted the front profile 5 fixed to the fabric 4 and is in particular hinged to the latter.

[0057] Preferably, the articulated arms 8 are movable between an extended position and a folded position. Advantageously, the articulated arms 8 in the extended position extend at least partially outside the trunk 2 through the front opening. 21 and arrange the front profile 5 in said open position. Preferably, the articulated arms 8 in the folded position are folded inside the trunk 2 and arrange the front profile 5 in said closed position, in particular when closing the front opening 21 of the trunk 2 itself.

[0058] Advantageously, each articulated arm 8 is equipped with a joint 82 interposed between the first hinge end 81' and the second hinge end 81”.

[0059] In addition, each articulated arm 8 advantageously comprises two tubular profiles interlocked with each other in correspondence with the articulation 82 and preferably elastic extension means for forcing the articulated arms 8 towards the extended position. In more detail, said elastic extension means comprise for example elastic returns arranged inside the tubular profiles in a manner known to those skilled in the art, which are predisposed to exert on the corresponding articulated arm 8 an elastic force which tends to carry the articulated arm 8 even in said extended position.

[0060] Operationally, when the canvas 4 is unwound by the roller 3 to carry the front profile 5 into the open position, the elastic extension means of each articulated arm 8 push the second hinge end 81” (which carries mounted the front profile 5) of the corresponding articulated arm 8 away from the first hinge end 81 ' (constrained to the box 2) so as to move the articulated arms 8 towards the extended position by putting tension on the canvas 4.

[0061] When the fabric 4 is wound around the roller 3 to bring the front profile 5 into the closed position, the rolled-up fabric 4 pulls the front profile 5 of the arm awning 1 towards the box 2 and consequently returns the second hinge ends 81” of the articulated arms 8 towards the first hinge ends 81 ' in particular by gaining the elastic force of the extension means of the articulated arms 8 to bring the latter into the folded position.

[0062] In particular, during the opening and closing of the canvas 4 the front profile 5 is respectively pushed by the articulated arms 8 or dragged by the canvas 4 advantageously along a direction of movement Z, substantially orthogonal to the first axis of rotation R. In more detail, the direction of movement Z can be parallel or inclined relative to the ground.

[0063] Advantageously, the arm awning 1 comprises at least two fixing frames 9, each of which is mechanically connected to the box 2 and is intended to be fixed to the underlying supporting element.

[0064] According to the particular embodiment shown in the attached figures, the arm awning 1 is preferably equipped with two fixing frames 9, each of which is connected to the corresponding first end 24 of the box 2.

[0065] According to the present invention, at least one between the box 2 and the front profile 5 comprises an invitation portion 23, 53, which can intercept the other between the box 2 and the front profile 5 to guide the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 towards said coupling position.

[0066] In this way, when the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 is close to the coupling position, said invitation part 23, 53 acts by compensating for any inaccuracy in the positioning of the front profile 5 relative to the front opening 21 of the trunk 2, in particular with reference to a misalignment relative to a direction orthogonal to said direction of movement Z.

[0067] Preferably, said invitation part 23, 53 comprises a first invitation part 23 arranged in correspondence with the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2, in particular in correspondence with both the upper longitudinal edge 221 and the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the longitudinal edge 22 itself.

[0068] Advantageously, the first invitation part 23 defines, along the longitudinal edge 22 itself, a first flared sliding surface 231, which extends in particular from the longitudinal edge 22 towards the interior of the trunk 2, gradually reducing the width of the front opening 21 of the trunk 2.

[0069] Preferably, the invitation part 23, 53 comprises a second invitation part 53 arranged in correspondence with the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5, in particular in correspondence with both the upper inner edge 521 and the lower inner edge 522 of the inner edge 52 itself.

[0070] Advantageously, the second invitation part 53 defines, along the inner edge 52, a second flared sliding surface 531, which extends in particular from the inner edge 52 even away from the inner side 51 of the front profile 5, and can cooperate with the first sliding surface 231 of the first invitation part 23 when the front profile 5 is brought into the closed position.

[0071] According to the idea underlying the present invention, the arm awning 1 comprises at least one stop body 6, 7 which is mechanically fixed to at least one between the box 2 and the front profile 5. In particular, as discussed below, the stop body 6, 7 can be fixed to the box 2, or to the front profile 5, or to both.

[0072] In more detail, the stop body 6, 7, if it is fixed to the trunk 2, is positioned in correspondence with the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2 itself and intercepts the frontal profile 5 when it is brought into the closed position, blocking the inner edge 52 of the latter in the coupling position.

[0073] Furthermore, the stop body 6, 7, if it is fixed to the front profile 5, is positioned in correspondence with the inner edge 52 of the latter, and, when the front profile 5 is in the closed position, intercepts the trunk 2 by blocking said inner edge 52 in the coupling position.

[0074] This predisposition of said stop body 6, 7 makes it possible to precisely block the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 in the coupling position with the inner edge 52 of the trunk 2, in particular even if the front profile 5 is subjected to transverse deformations relative to its second dominant development axis Y.

[0075] In more detail, as indicated above, each articulated arm 8 exerts a thrust on the front profile 5 to push it towards the open position. As shown in the example of [Fig.6A], this thrust exerted by the articulated arms 8 can deform the front profile 5 itself, in particular with an arcuate bending towards the trunk 2, which is in particular more pronounced on the central part of the front profile 5.

[0076] In this situation, as shown in the example of [Fig.6B], when the front profile 5 is brought towards the closed position, the part of its inner edge 52 placed in correspondence with the point of maximum deformation of the front profile 5 itself (in particular in the central part of the latter) comes into abutment on the box 2 in advance relative to the rest of the inner edge 52 itself (in particular the parts in correspondence with the second ends 54 of the front profile 5).

[0077] In this situation, the stop body 6, 7 according to the present invention blocks in the coupling position the part of the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 which comes before abutting against the box 2, preventing this part from continuing beyond the invitation part 23, 53 towards the inside of the box 2 even through the front opening of the latter (as illustrated in [Fig.6B]). Therefore, following the traction exerted by the fabric 4 which is wound around the roller 3, the second ends 54 of the front profile 5 are pulled towards the box 2 (substantially straightening the front profile 5), until the parts of the inner edge 52 in correspondence of these second ends 54 come into abutment against the longitudinal edge 22 of the box 2, as shown in the example of [Fig.6C].

[0078] In this way the stop body 6, 7 guarantees a precise coupling between the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 in the closed position and the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2, in particular by preventing both excessive penetration of the front profile 5 through the front opening 21 of the trunk 2, and the presence of cracks between the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 and the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2.

[0079] In particular, this prevents the entry of bad weather and dirt into the interior of the box 2 which promote rapid deterioration of the fabric 4. In addition, the precise coupling between the longitudinal edge 22 and the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 contributes to improving the aesthetic appearance of the arm awning 1 in question with the front profile 5 in the closed position.

[0080] Advantageously, as illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, the stop body 6, 7, projects towards the inside of the front opening 21, a condition which remains always for the stop body 6, 7 fixed to the box 2 and which remains when the front profile 5 is in the closed position for the stop body 6, 7 fixed to the front profile 5.

[0081] In this way, in particular, when the front profile 5 is in the closed position the stop body 6, 7 is not visible from the outside of the box 2, consequently not affecting the physical appearance of the box 2 and of the front profile 5.

[0082] Advantageously, as illustrated for example in the embodiment of figures 3 to 5, several stop bodies 6, 7 are provided including: • at least one of the stop bodies 6, 7 is arranged in correspondence with the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the box 2 and / or the upper inner edge 521 of the front profile 5, and • at least one other of the stop bodies 6, 7 arranged in correspondence with the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the box 2 and / or the lower inner edge 522 of the front profile 5.

[0083] In this way, in particular, at least one stop body 6, 7 in correspondence with at least one of said upper edges 221, 521 is provided, and at least one stop body 6, 7 in correspondence with at least one of said lower edges 222, 522.

[0084] In this way, when the front profile 5 is brought into the closed position, the stop bodies 6, 7 act both along the upper edges 221, 521 and along the lower edges 222, 522, thus avoiding the occurrence of a torsional deformation of the front profile 5 even around the second dominant development axis Y which could prevent the correct operation of the upper inner edge 521 or the lower inner edge 522 in the coupling position respectively with respect to the upper longitudinal edge 221 and the lower longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2.

[0085] According to the embodiment shown in the attached figures, the stop body 6, 7 comprises at least a first stop body 6 which is mechanically fixed to the trunk 2 preferably in correspondence with the longitudinal edge 22 of the latter.

[0086] Preferably, one or more first stop bodies 6 arranged along the first dominant development axis X of the trunk 2 are provided, depending on the length of the latter. In particular, in the second case, the first stop bodies 6 are arranged along the longitudinal edge 22, preferably equidistant from each other along said first dominant development axis X.

[0087] Advantageously, the at least one first stop body 6 comprises at least one first upper stop body 6', which is placed in correspondence with the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the trunk 2, and / or at least one first lower stop body 6”, which is placed in correspondence with the lower longitudinal edge 222 of the trunk 2 itself.

[0088] In this way, the first upper and lower stop bodies 6', 6” are intended to act on both the upper inner edge 521 and the lower inner edge 522 of the front profile 5 (when the latter is carried in the closed position), ensuring the correct positioning of the upper inner edge 521 and the lower inner edge 522 in the coupling position (as indicated above).

[0089] Advantageously, the arm awning 1 comprises a number of first upper stop bodies 6' equal to the number of first lower stop bodies 6”.

[0090] Preferably, each first upper stop body 6' is aligned with a corresponding first lower stop body 6” in a direction orthogonal to the first dominant development axis X. In this way, the action exerted by the first stop bodies 6 on the frontal profile 5 is distributed substantially uniformly thereon, avoiding the concentration of excessive mechanical loads which can compromise the mechanical strength of the frontal profile 5 even over time.

[0091] Advantageously, the stop body 6, 7 comprises at least one second stop body 7 which is mechanically fixed to the front profile 5, preferably in correspondence with its inner edge 52.

[0092] Preferably, one or more second stop bodies 7 are provided arranged along the second dominant development axis Y of the frontal profile 5 as a function of the length of the latter. In particular, in the second case, the second stop bodies 7 are arranged along the inner edge 52, preferably equidistant from each other along said second dominant development axis Y.

[0093] Advantageously, at least one second stop body 7 comprises at least one second upper stop body 7', which is placed in correspondence with the upper inner edge 521 of the front profile 5 and / or at least one second lower stop body which is placed in correspondence with the lower inner edge 522 of the front profile 5 itself.

[0094] According to the particular embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 and 5, at least one second upper stop body 7' is provided, without any second lower stop body. Obviously, embodiments with only the second lower stop body could be provided, or else embodiments with both upper and lower second stop bodies.

[0095] Preferably, at least one of the first stop bodies 6 receives in abutment (directly) the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 in the closed position. For example, with reference to [Fig. 3], the first lower stop body 6” receives in abutment the lower inner edge 522 of the front profile 5 when the latter is in the closed position. Optionally, in addition or alternatively (according to embodiments not illustrated), a similar predisposition is possible for the first upper stop body 6'.

[0096] Advantageously, as seen in [Fig. 3], at least one of the first stop bodies 6 receives the corresponding second stop body 7 as a stop when the front profile 5 is in the closed position. In this way, the stop bodies 6, 7 do not act directly on the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 and the longitudinal edge 22 of the box 2, thus preventing the latter from rubbing against each other, compromising the aesthetic appearance of the arm awning 1.

[0097] Preferably, for this purpose, the first stop body 6 fixed to the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2 is aligned (in the direction of movement Z) with the corresponding second stop body 7 fixed to the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5.

[0098] For example, with reference to the embodiment of [Fig. 3], the first upper stop body 6' (fixed to the upper longitudinal edge 221 of the trunk 2) receives in abutment the second upper stop body 7' (fixed to the upper inner edge 521 of the front profile 5), when the latter is in the closed position. Optionally, in addition or alternatively (according to embodiments not illustrated), a similar predisposition is possible for the first lower stop body 6” with a corresponding second lower stop body.

[0099] Advantageously, the first stop body 6 develops in a cantilever manner with an appendage 61 inclined forwards towards the front profile 5 in the closed position. In this way, when the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 (or the corresponding second stop body 7) is arranged in abutment against the appendage 61, the forward inclination of the appendage 61 itself prevents the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 (or the corresponding second stop body 7) from exceeding it by penetrating inside the box 2 along the direction of movement Z.

[0100] Advantageously, the first stop body 6 is arranged more internally to the box 2 relative to the first invitation part 23.

[0101] In this way, the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 (or the corresponding second stop body 7) can be guided towards the coupling position of the first invitation part 23, and in particular can rub against the first sliding surface 231, before coming into abutment against the first stop body 6.

[0102] Preferably, the first stop body 6 defines an inner end-of-travel portion 232 of the first invitation portion 23. In particular, the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 (or the corresponding second stop body 7), guided by the first invitation portion 23 towards the coupling position, can come into abutment against said inner end-of-travel portion 232, remaining blocked in the coupling position itself.

[0103] In this way, with the arm awning 1 which is the subject of the present agreement, each first stop body 6 cooperates with the first invitation part 23 of the box 2 to block the inner edge 52 of the front profile 5 in the position coupling, thereby determining a precise coupling between the front profile 5 in the closed position and the trunk 2.

[0104] In particular, the first invitation part 23 limits the movement of the inner edge 53 of the frontal profile 5 along a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement Z, while each first stop body 6 limits the movement parallel to the same direction of movement Z.

[0105] Advantageously, the second stop body 7 (in particular the second upper stop body 7') comprises an assembly surface 71, which is preferably intended to abut against the appendage 61 of the corresponding first stop body 6.

[0106] Preferably, the second stop body 7 extends in a cantilever manner from the inner edge 52 away from the inner side 51 of the front profile 5. In this way, when the front profile 5 is in the closed position, the second stop body 7 is predisposed to penetrate at least partially inside the box 2 to come into abutment with the corresponding first stop body 6.

[0107] According to the present invention, the stop body 6, 7 is obtained with a separate component with respect to the box 2 and the front profile 5 and is rigidly fixed to the latter (or to at least one of them) for example through different coupling modalities, such as form coupling, screw fixings, welding, etc.

[0108] Advantageously, in accordance with the embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 to 5, the stop body 6, 7 is fixed by form coupling to the box 2 and / or to the front profile 5. In this way it is possible to fix the stop body 6, 7 to the box 2 and / or to the front profile 5 without using additional fixing components, ensuring the simple construction of the arm awning 1 itself and reducing installation times.

[0109] Preferably, at least one between the trunk 2 and the frontal profile 5 comprises at least one longitudinal retention seat 29, extending respectively along the first dominant development axis X or the second dominant development axis Y.

[0110] Advantageously, the stop body 6, 7 is equipped with a retention part 62 which can be engaged in said longitudinal retention seat 29 to retain the stop body 6, 7 even at the trunk 2 and / or at the front profile 5.

[0111] Preferably, with reference to the example of [Fig.3], the longitudinal retention seat 29 is produced on the trunk 2, is arranged in particular in correspondence with the longitudinal edge 22 of the trunk 2, and extends along the first dominant development axis X between the two first ends 24 of the trunk 2 itself.

[0112] Advantageously, the retention part 62, produced in the first stop body 6, is inserted in a form-fitting manner into said longitudinal retention seat 29 of the trunk 2 to retain the first stop body 6 to the trunk 2 itself.

[0113] Advantageously, the box 2 is equipped with a first retention wall 291 and a second retention wall 292, which extend in cantilever internally to the box 2 itself and develop along said first dominant development axis X parallel to each other, delimiting between them the longitudinal retention seat 29.

[0114] In particular, the trunk 2 is equipped with two longitudinal retention seats 29 arranged one in correspondence with the upper wall 27' and the other with the lower wall 27” of the trunk 2 itself, each advantageously defined by the first and second corresponding retention walls 291, 292 extending from the upper wall 27' and the lower wall 27”, respectively.

[0115] During the assembly of the arm awning 1 which is the subject of the present invention, the retention part 62 of each first stop body 6 is preferably inserted inside the corresponding longitudinal retention seat 29 from one of the first ends 24 of the box 2, and the first stop body 6 itself is therefore slid inside the longitudinal retention seat 29 itself along the first dominant development axis X to the desired position.

[0116] Preferably, the box 2 comprises first locking means (not shown in the attached figures), such as for example an adhesive, predisposed to prevent the sliding of at least one first stop body 6 along the corresponding longitudinal retention seat 29.

[0117] According to the embodiments not illustrated in the attached figures, the longitudinal retention seat 29 is obtained (alternatively or additionally) on the frontal profile 5 and is engaged by the second stop body 7, in particular in a manner analogous to that described above for the first stop body 6.

[0118] Advantageously, according to a second variant embodiment, at least one between the box 2 and the frontal profile 5 comprises at least one retention appendage 56 extending along respectively the first dominant development direction X or the second dominant development direction Y entirely respectively to the box 2 or to the frontal profile 5.

[0119] Preferably, the stop body 6, 7 is equipped with a retention groove 72 capable of receiving in at least partial form coupling the retention appendage 56 to retain the stop body 6, 7 even to the box 2 and / or to the front profile 5.

[0120] For example, in accordance with the example of figures 3 to 5, the retention appendage 56 is obtained on the frontal profile 5 and extends along the second dominant development axis Y between the two second ends 54 of the frontal profile 5 itself.

[0121] Advantageously, the retention groove 72 obtained on the second stop body 7 receives in at least partial form coupling the retention appendage 56 of the front profile 5 to retain the second stop body 7 to the front profile 5 itself.

[0122] During the assembly of the arm awning 1 which is the subject of the present invention, the retention groove 72 of the second stop body 7 is engaged to the retention appendage 56 from a second end 54 of the front profile 5 and the second stop body 7 itself is slid along said first retention appendage 56 to the desired position.

[0123] Preferably, the front profile 5 comprises second locking means (not shown in the attached figures), such as for example an adhesive, predisposed to prevent the sliding of at least one second stop body 7 along the retention appendage 56.

[0124] According to the embodiments not illustrated in the attached figures, the retention appendage 56 is obtained (as an alternative or in addition) on the trunk 2 and is engaged by the first stop body 6, in particular in a manner analogous to that described above for the second stop body 7.

[0125] Advantageously, the stop body 6, 7 is made of rigid material, preferably plastic. In this way, the stop body 6, 7 can intercept the front profile 5 and / or the box 2 by blocking the inner edge 52 in the coupling position without deforming.

[0126] Advantageously, the stop body 6, 7 is positioned in a first intermediate section of the box 2 remote from said first ends 24, and / or a second intermediate section of the frontal profile 5 remote from said second ends 54.

[0127] In more detail, the first stop body 6 is positioned in correspondence with the first intermediate section of the trunk, and / or the second stop body 7 is positioned in correspondence with the second intermediate section of the front profile 5.

[0128] Preferably, the intermediate section (of the box 2 or of the frontal profile 5) is placed substantially equidistant from the corresponding ends 24, 54.

[0129] Since, as indicated previously, the frontal profile 5 takes an arched configuration towards the trunk 2 by the effect of the force exerted by the articulated arms 8, it follows that the point of maximum flexion of the frontal profile 5 itself towards the trunk 2 is in a substantially intermediate position between the second ends 54.

[0130] In this way, with the arm awning 1 which is the subject of the present invention at least one stop body 6, 7 is arranged close to the point of maximum flexion of the front profile 5, which coincides with the point of the front profile 5 which can penetrate further into the box 2 in the absence of said stop body 6, 7.

[0131] The arm awning 1 thus designed therefore achieves the intended goals.
