Title of the invention: Method for transforming an assembly forming a pergola or a carport Technical field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a method of transforming an assembly forming a pergola or a carport. It applies, in particular, to the covering of an outdoor space. Prior art
[0002] Certain prior art documents propose a versatile bioclimatic pergola that offers a practical and aesthetic solution for users seeking to maximize the use of their outdoor space. The bioclimatic pergola is designed to provide a covered space offering protection against the elements and solar rays, while allowing natural ventilation and thermal regulation.
[0003] However, the usage over time may be different and to change a pergola to a carport it is necessary to dismantle the assembly to move from one to the other. Presentation of the invention
[0004] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks with a completely innovative approach.
[0005] More specifically, the invention aims to provide a technique that is simple to implement.
[0006] In particular, an objective of the invention is to provide such a technique making it possible to dispense with any other complex adjustment system.
[0007] An objective of the invention is to provide such a technique, which can be easily adapted to existing systems.
[0008] These objectives, as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved, using a method of transforming an assembly forming a pergola or a carport, said transformation method comprises a preliminary step of mounting a common base having transverse beams forming a frame, when it is a carport, said frame comprises a plurality of panels placed on the frame and covered with a finishing profile and angles positioned on each width of the panels, when it is a pergola, said frame comprises a plurality of adjustable blades adapted to control the desired quantity of sunlight and ventilation, each adjustable blade rests on a driving profile and each adjustable blade is controlled by a motorization kit connected by the driving profile; remarkable in that said transformation process comprises the following steps when it is a carport: - dismantling of the plurality of panels, dismantling consists of removing each finishing profile, angle iron and panel; - assembly of a support profile and adjustable slats connected to a motorization kit; said transformation process includes the following steps when it comes to a pergola: - disassembly of the plurality of blades, disassembly consists of removing the drive profile, each adjustable blade and the motorization kit; - assembly of the corners of each panel and the finishing profiles.
[0009] Thanks to these provisions, the invention allows one to switch from a carport to a pergola or vice versa. The unique aspect of this invention lies in its ability to easily convert into a carport or carport. By adding adjustable and modular structural elements, the pergola can be transformed into a solid and secure structure to shelter a vehicle. This additional functionality offers considerable flexibility to the user, allowing them to maximize the use of available space and adapt to different weather conditions.
[0010] The bioclimatic pergola convertible into a carport or car shelter comprises a basic structure made up of vertical posts, transverse beams forming a frame and adjustable blades above. The adjustable blades allow the user to control the amount of sunlight and ventilation desired, by adjusting them manually or using an automated system.
[0011] The invention has many advantages over traditional outdoor structures. In addition to providing a shaded and ventilated area, the convertible bioclimatic pergola offers the following advantages:
[0012] Versatility: The ability to convert the pergola into a carport or carport allows optimal use of the outdoor space, adapted to the specific needs of the user.
[0013] Thermal regulation: The adjustable blades provide effective ventilation control, allowing fresh air to circulate while minimizing heat build-up.
[0014] Weather Protection: Side panels and sliding doors provide protection from rain, snow and wind, ensuring the safety and preservation of vehicles.
[0015] Aesthetically pleasing: The sleek, modern design of the bioclimatic pergola makes it an attractive addition to any outdoor space, while blending harmoniously into the existing environment.
[0016] The invention is advantageously implemented according to the embodiments and the variants set out below, which are to be considered individually or in any technically effective combination.
[0017] In one embodiment, at the assembly stage when it is a carport transforming into a pergola, or at the disassembly stage when it is a pergola transforming into a carport, the motorization kit is either: a jack, an attachment with a control unit or a cable connected to a motor.
[0018] In one embodiment, at the preliminary stage of mounting a common base, the frame comprises a seal around the perimeter of said frame on the inside.
[0019] In one embodiment, during the preliminary step of mounting a common base, the frame comprises at least two vertical posts, one end of which is configured to be placed on the ground and the other end is connected to said frame.
[0020] In one embodiment, during the preliminary step of mounting a common base when there are two vertical posts; on the other side of the vertical posts, the frame is fixed to a wall.
[0021] In one embodiment, during the preliminary assembly step, at least one of the following elements is positioned between the vertical posts: a removable side panel and a sliding door.
[0022] According to this embodiment, the common base is equipped with removable side panels and sliding doors that can be easily installed or removed. The side panels can be made from translucent materials to allow good brightness inside the carport while preserving the user's privacy. Brief description of the figures
[0023] Other advantages, aims and characteristics of the present invention emerge from the following description, given for explanatory and non-limiting purposes, with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
[0024] [Fig.l] represents the preliminary step of the process with a common base;
[0025] [Fig.2] represents a diagram of the transformation of a carport into a pergola and vice versa;
