Abstract
Guardrail (1) comprising at least two uprights (2) connected by at least two infill rails (3; 4) to which a sheet metal infill plate (5) is fixed, wherein the two uprights (2) each extend from a foot or bracket (20) to a handrail (6); wherein the two uprights (2) have vertical grooves (21) and the two infill rails (3; 4) have a lower groove and an upper groove; and the infill plate has two vertical edges engaged inside the respective vertical grooves of the two uprights, and a lower edge and an upper edge engaged inside the respective lower and upper grooves of the two infill rails; and the two infill rails and the two uprights are fixed together, two by two, to form a frame which encloses the infill plate on its four edges.
