Spray thickness guide

Abstract

This product is a spray thickness guide for checking the spray thickness of foam-in-place spray urethane insulation applied to the walls or roofs of buildings. The reference diagram showing the application state and the enlarged cross-sectional view along line AA' illustrate how the product can be used when applied to a building roof. The left side of the product is placed face-to-face on the target surface, and the back side of the product is placed face-to-face on the side of a frame member perpendicular to the target surface, and the product is secured to the frame member with a fastener such as a stapler. This allows the product to be secured to the frame member that makes up the wall or roof with the gauge portion extending perpendicular to the target surface. In this state, the product can be sprayed onto the target surface until the product is completely embedded in the spray urethane insulation or until the spray urethane insulation reaches the desired scale on the product, allowing the accurate thickness of the spray urethane insulation to be determined.
