Solar panel gap holding metal fitting

Abstract

To provide a gap holding metal fitting that can eliminate the need for a dedicated grounding metal fitting to be inserted into a frame of a solar panel.SOLUTION: A gap holding metal fitting 4 holds a gap 3 between solar panels 2 that are attached to a folded plate roof 1A by using a fixing metal fitting 11. The gap holding metal fitting has: a metal fitting body 14 that is arranged in abutment so as to straddle between back surfaces 13 of frames 12 of the adjacent solar panels 2; a gap holding rib 15 that is provided in the metal fitting body 14 and arranged and inserted between the frames 12 of the adjacent solar panels 2; and mounting holes 17 that are provided in the metal fitting body 14 and match the grounding holes 16 formed in the frames 12 of the solar panels 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
