Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for peeling a protective film off a soft workpiece. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, a technology has been known in which a label is peeled off from a backing, attached to a product, and then the protective film on the surface of the label is peeled off. For example, a heat dissipation sheet equivalent to the label cut from the backing is attached to a product, and then the protective film is peeled off from the surface of the heat dissipation sheet.

[0003] Patent Document 1 discloses a method and device for peeling a protective film without peeling errors or tears of the protective film. This discloses a method for peeling a protective film from an insulating layer on a substrate in the manufacture of a printed wiring board, the peeling method including an end triggering step for reducing the adhesive strength of one end of the protective film to the insulating layer, a raising step for raising the end with reduced adhesive strength of the protective film, an end surface separation step for peeling the end faces of three sides of the protective film from the insulating layer from the raised end, and a peeling step for peeling the protective film with the end faces of the three sides peeled off from the insulating layer. The process of peeling off this protective film involves pressing the edge of the surface protective film between the insulating layer of the substrate with a trigger rod pressing downward and applying a surface-direction external force to create a lift at the edge of the protective film, lifting the lifted portion by peeling back the adhesive tape pressed against the lifted portion of the protective film, and running a remover between the edge of the protective film and the insulating layer on the substrate to separate the protective film from the insulating layer. [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2021-104889 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] According to the protective film peeling device described in Patent Document 1, the protective film itself is damaged, adhesive tape is used on the raised edge of the protective film, and the protective film is peeled off by inserting a remover into the gap between the protective film and the insulating layer without using a suction pad. Generally, when a heat dissipation sheet corresponding to an insulating layer is attached to a product corresponding to the above-mentioned substrate and then an attempt is made to peel off the protective film from the side opposite the attached side of the heat dissipation sheet, there is a problem that the heat dissipation sheet is lifted off the product along with the protective film. In addition, if the process of manually peeling off the protective film using a spatula after attaching the heat dissipation sheet to the product is performed, there is an issue that the process becomes complicated and the time required to peel the protective film from the heat dissipation sheet attached to the product becomes long.

[0006] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its object is to provide a protective film peeling device and a protective film peeling method that smoothly peel off a protective film from a heat dissipation sheet attached to the outer surface of a product. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The protective film peeling device of the present invention is a protective film peeling device that peels off a backing paper (3) from a three-layer structure (1) in which a heat dissipation sheet (2) has a backing paper (3) attached to one surface (21) and a protective film (4) attached to the other surface (22), attaches the one surface of the heat dissipation sheet to a product (9), and peels off the protective film from the other surface of the heat dissipation sheet, An arrow member (51) that crushes the corners of the heat dissipation sheet of the three-layer structure; a gripping means (30) for gripping a gripping portion (400) of a protective film formed in a pressed recess (201) of a heat dissipation sheet; an adsorption means (12) for peeling off the backing from the three-layer structure and attaching a heat dissipation sheet and a protective film to the outer surface of the product; and an actuator (5) that moves the gripping means relative to the heat dissipation sheet attached to the product and peels off the protective film.

[0008] According to the protective film peeling device of the present invention, after the heat dissipation sheet, from which the backing has been removed, of the three-layer structure consisting of the backing, heat dissipation sheet, and protective film, is attached to a product, the protective film on the surface opposite the attached surface of the heat dissipation sheet can be smoothly peeled off.

[0009] When the heat dissipation sheet and protective film of the three-layer structure are overlapped, the arrow member crushes the edge corner of the heat dissipation sheet with the edge corner of the heat dissipation sheet and the protective film, the heat dissipation sheet deforms within an allowable range, forming a gripping portion for the protective film in the recess. After this gripping portion of the protective film is gripped by the gripping means, the suction means peels off the backing paper, and the heat dissipation sheet and protective film are attached to the outer surface of the product. After attachment, the actuator is operated to move the gripping means relative to the heat dissipation sheet, and the protective film is peeled off from the heat dissipation sheet.

[0010] In general, the adhesive strength between the product and the heat dissipation sheet is smaller than the adhesive strength between the heat dissipation sheet and the protective film. However, when attempting to peel off the protective film, the gripping portion of the protective film moves relative to the heat dissipation sheet, and the bending force caused by the curvature generated by the deformation of the protective film acts as a force pushing against the heat dissipation sheet. This prevents the heat dissipation sheet from being lifted (pulled off) from the product when peeling off the protective film.

[0011] Therefore, the protective film is peeled off while pressing the heat dissipation sheet against the product by gripping the protective film with the gripping means and moving the gripping portion (corresponding to the gripping margin) relative to the heat dissipation sheet by the operation of the actuator. At this time, since the bonding force between the heat dissipation sheet and the case is strong against the force trying to peel the protective film off the heat dissipation sheet, the protective film can be peeled off from the heat dissipation sheet without peeling it off from the product. [0013] Hereinafter, a motor device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that, in a plurality of embodiments, substantially the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted.

[0014] First embodiment A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. First, a heat dissipation sheet attaching device and method for attaching a heat dissipation sheet to the outer surface of a product will be described.

[0015] 1A, the heat dissipation sheet used in this embodiment is prepared as an intermediate of a three-layer structure 1. The three-layer structure 1 is a soft workpiece, and has a mount 3 attached to one outer surface 21 of a heat dissipation sheet 2 and a protective film 4 attached to the other outer surface 22.

[0016] Fig. 2 shows the shape of the heat dissipation sheet used in this embodiment. Fig. 2A shows a front view of the heat dissipation sheet, and Fig. 2B shows a plan view. The heat dissipation sheet 2 is elastic and has a thin rectangular shape. It is made of a soft sheet. The basic steps of the method for attaching a heat dissipation sheet to the outer surface of a product are carried out in the order of FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 1C shown in FIG.

[0017] In the three-layer structure 1 shown in FIG. 1A, a heat dissipation sheet 2 attached to a mount 3 has an outer surface 22 covered with a protective film 4. The three-layer structure 1 in the state shown in Figure 1A becomes in the state shown in Figure 1B when the backing 3 is peeled off from the heat dissipation sheet 2 to which the protective film 4 is attached, and the outer surface 21 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 from which the backing 3 has been peeled off is attached to the outer surface (attached surface) 91 of a product, such as a case 9.

[0018] Here, in the state shown in FIG. 1B, the adhesive strength between outer surface 91 of case 9 and outer surface 21 of heat dissipation sheet 2 is smaller than the adhesive strength between outer surface 22 of heat dissipation sheet 2 and protection film 4. In the state shown in FIG. When the protective film 4 is peeled off from the outer surface 22 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 in the state shown in Fig. 1B, the state shown in Fig. 1C is obtained. Here, the protective film peeling device and protective film peeling method of the present embodiment maintain the attached state between the case 9 and the heat dissipation sheet 2, and peel the protective film 4 from the outer surface 22 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 attached to the case 9.

[0019] Next, a heat dissipation sheet attachment device equipped with the protective film peeling device of this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0020] (robot) 5, 6 and 7, the protective film peeling device is equipped with a six-axis robot 5 having a robot arm 7 whose tip base 8 can be moved to a desired position relative to a base 6. A device body 10 of the protective film peeling device is connected to the base 8 of this six-axis robot 5. The device body 10 can be moved to any position in three dimensions relative to the base 6 by robot control, and the inclination angle at that position can be changed as desired.

[0021] The device body 10 can be moved to any position in three dimensions by the operation of the six-axis robot 5 relative to the base 6. The six-axis robot 5 corresponds to an actuator. The device body 10, which can be moved to any position by the actuator, is equipped with suction means 12 capable of sucking the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 from the three-layer structure 1 (described later) to a suction pad 13, and chuck jaws 30 corresponding to gripping means capable of gripping a gripping portion 400 (gripping portion) of the protective film 4, which are connected by a frame 14.

[0022] (Three-layer structure on equipment stand) As shown in FIG. 5, a three-layer structure 1 made up of a mount 3, a heat dissipation sheet 2, and a protective film 4 is transferred to an equipment stand 49 near a base 6 of a six-axis robot 5. 8, the three-layer structure 1 placed on the equipment stand 49 has both edges guided by guides 24 and 25 fixed on rails 47 and 48. The three-layer structure 1 shown in this embodiment has a base 3 extending in the longitudinal direction, on which a plurality of rectangular heat dissipation sheets 2 are attached in the same longitudinal direction, and a plurality of rectangular protective films 4 are attached so as to be overlapped on each of the heat dissipation sheets 2.

[0023] 8, the exposed portion of the mount 3 placed on the equipment stand 49 shows the state after the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 have been peeled off (cut out) from the mount 3 by a suction pad 13 described later. The bottom end 300 of the mount 3 is pulled downward by an actuator (not shown).

[0024] (Arrow device) An arrow device 40 is provided at a position adjacent to the guide 24 of the equipment stand 49. The arrow device 40 includes an arrow member 51 that crushes the corners of the heat dissipation sheet 2 of the three-layer structure 1, and a drive cylinder 50 that moves the arrow member 51 back and forth in the axial direction of the arrow 52.

[0025] 9 to 13, the arrow member 51 has a shaft 53, and at the tip of the shaft 53, a first inclined surface 54 corresponding to a first tapered surface that crushes the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 and a second inclined surface 55 corresponding to a second tapered surface that avoids interference with the protective film 4. The first inclined surface 54 is a surface that can come into contact with the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2.

[0026] During the squeezing operation, the arrow members 51 advance toward and retreat from the edge corners 200 of the heat dissipating sheet 2 in the order of Figs. 3A, 3B, and 3C. As shown in FIG. 8, when the driving cylinder 50 is driven to advance the arrow member 51 in the arrow advance direction shown in FIG. 3B, the first inclined surface 54 comes into contact with the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 between the mount 3 and the protective film 4, and the end surface corner 200 is crushed (see FIG. 3B). The heat dissipation sheet is compressed in the sheet surface direction to crush the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet. When the arrow member 51 retreats in the arrow retreat direction after the crushing, a depression 201 (corresponding to a recess) is formed in the heat dissipation sheet corner between the mount 3 and the protective film 4 (see FIG. 3C). This depression 201 becomes a recess formed by being depressed in a place adjacent to the crushed surface of the heat dissipation sheet 2 between the mount 3 and the protective film 4. As a result, an exposed portion where the protective film is exposed is formed at the corner of the protective film 4, and this exposed portion forms a gripping allowance 400 by the chuck jaws 30.

[0027] (Gripping means and suction means) 5, 6 and 7, the chuck claw 30, which corresponds to the gripping means of the application / removal unit 18, includes a fixed-side chuck claw 31 fixed to the frame 14 and a driving-side chuck claw 32 movable relative to the fixed-side chuck claw 31. A gripping portion 400 of the protective film 4 recessed in a location adjacent to a recess 201 formed on the crushed surface of the heat dissipation sheet 2 is gripped by an upper surface 310 of the fixed-side chuck claw 31 and a lower surface 320 of the driving-side chuck claw 32, as shown in FIG. After gripping, the suction pad 13 of the suction means 12 sucks the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4, peels the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 from the backing paper 3, and presses and attaches the outer surface 21 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 to the outer surface 91 of the case 9, which corresponds to the product.

[0028] The suction means 12 is provided adjacent to the chuck jaws 30, as shown in Figures 6 and 7. A suction pad 13 is provided at the tip of a rod 11 that moves up and down relative to a frame 14, and when the suction pad 13 presses against the protective film 4, it sucks in air from the internal space sealed within the suction pad, thereby lifting and transporting the protective film 4 and heat dissipation sheet 2, and attaching the outer surface 21 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 to the outer surface 91 of the case 9. When the suction is released, the suction pad 13 is separated from the protective film 4 and heat dissipation sheet 2.

[0029] 5 shows the layout of a protective film peeling device that includes a six-axis robot 5, an arrow member 51 that forms the crushing surface of the heat dissipation sheet, and an application / peeling unit 18. The application / peeling unit 18 is provided at the tip of a robot arm 7 of the six-axis robot 5. The application / peeling unit 18 includes chuck jaws 30, suction means 12, etc. The chuck jaws 30 and suction means 12 can move in any three-dimensional direction, up and down, front and back, left and right, relative to the case 9, by the operation of a robot equivalent to an actuator, and can rotate at any inclination angle relative to the case.

[0030] Next, the operation of the protective film peeling device will be described with reference to the flow chart shown in FIG.

[0031] As shown in FIG. 8, a three-layer structure 1 consisting of a mount 3, a heat dissipation sheet 2 and a protective film 4 is prepared on an equipment stand 49 (S101). Next, by driving the driving cylinder 50 adjacent to the 6-axis robot 5 shown in Figures 5, 6 and 7, the arrow member 51 of the arrow device 40 is axially moved in a direction approaching the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 on the mount 3 shown in Figure 3A, and the first inclined surface 54 is pressed against the end surface corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 (see Figure 3B), forming a gripping margin 400 of the protective film 4 (S102). After the pressing, the arrow member 51 is withdrawn (see Figure 3C).

[0032] Next, the gripping portion 400 of the protective film 4 is gripped by the chuck claws 30 (S103), and while the gripping portion 400 is being gripped, the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 are adsorbed to the suction pad 13, the suction pad 13 is lifted from the backing 3 (S104), and the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film are cut out from the backing 3.

[0033] Next, the outer surface 21 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 of the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 is pressed against the outer surface 91 of the case 9 by the suction pad 13 and attached (S105).

[0034] After the heat dissipation sheet 2 is attached to the case 9, the chuck claws 30 holding the gripping portions 400 of the protective film 4 are raised, and then the chuck claws 30 are moved horizontally in a diagonal direction along the sheet surface, thereby peeling the protective film 4 off from the heat dissipation sheet 2 while pressing the heat dissipation sheet 2 against the case 9 (S106).

[0035] According to this embodiment, when the entire surfaces of the heat dissipation sheet 2 and protective film 4 of the three-layer structure 1 are overlapped, a non-bonding area (an area where the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 do not overlap) is formed by crushing the end corner 200 of the heat dissipation sheet 2, and a gripping area 400 corresponding to this non-bonding area can be formed.

[0036] When the gripping portion 400 of this protective film 4 is gripped (see FIG. 4A) and the chuck claws 30 are lifted and move horizontally along the sheet surface, for example in a diagonal direction, the protective film 4 is deformed into an S-shape and a pressing force is applied pressing the heat dissipation sheet 2 against the case 9 (see FIG. 4B). By moving the chuck claws 30 horizontally in a diagonal direction on the sheet surface of the heat dissipation sheet 2, the protective film 4 can be pressed against the heat dissipation sheet 2 and peeled off, thereby compensating for weak adhesive strength between the case 9 and the heat dissipation sheet 2. Therefore, while maintaining the bonded state between the case 9 and the heat dissipation sheet 2, it is possible to peel off only the protective film 4 from the heat dissipation sheet 2 without damaging the heat dissipation sheet 2. It is also possible to prevent the protective film 4 and the heat dissipation sheet 2 from peeling off from the case 9 as a unit.

[0037] Generally, the adhesive strength between the heat dissipation sheet 2 and the protective film 4 is greater than the adhesive strength between the case 9, which corresponds to the product, and the heat dissipation sheet 2, so when attempting to peel off the protective film 4, the heat dissipation sheet 2 attached to the case 9 is also lifted up (pulled off) from the case 9.

[0038] However, in this embodiment, the elasticity of the protective film is utilized on the upper surface of the heat dissipation sheet 2 against the outer surface 91 of the case 9, and a force is applied to press the heat dissipation sheet 2 against the case 9, thereby peeling off only the protective film 4 from the heat dissipation sheet 2, thereby preventing the protective film 4 from lifting together with the heat dissipation sheet.

[0039] When peeling off only a partial protective film from a soft workpiece, the device and method of the present invention can be used to peel off the protective film from the heat dissipation sheet without damaging it while maintaining the attachment of the product to the heat dissipation sheet, and the time required for the work can be shortened.

[0040] The present invention describes an apparatus and method for attaching a heat dissipation sheet to the outer surface of a product. In this apparatus and method, a protective film peeling apparatus and method are described for peeling a protective film from the surface of the heat dissipation sheet while keeping the heat dissipation sheet attached to the product in a subsequent process (final process) after the process of attaching the heat dissipation sheet to the outer surface of the product.

[0041] The three-layer structure used in the present invention has been described using an embodiment of three layers: a backing sheet, a heat dissipation sheet, and a protective film. However, in the present invention, the sheet that replaces the heat dissipation sheet attached to the backing sheet may also be a sheet that has a function other than the heat dissipation function.

[0042] In the present invention, an example of a sheet to be attached to a product has been described as a heat dissipation sheet. In the present invention, the film to be peeled off from the heat dissipation sheet may be a film that has a function other than a protective function and requires peeling in the final process, or it may be a thin-walled covering material that does not require peeling but requires peeling.

[0043] The three-layer structure used in the present invention is not limited to that in the above embodiment, and may have other shapes, materials, and structures.

[0044] As described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be embodied in various forms without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

[0045] The protective film peeling device of the present invention may be configured so that, when peeling the protective film from the heat dissipation sheet affixed to the product, the actuator moves the gripping means relative to the heat dissipation sheet affixed to the product so that a force pressing the heat dissipation sheet against the outer surface (91) of the product is applied by the bending force of the protective film which curves as the gripping area moves relative to the product.

[0046] In the protective film peeling device of the present invention, the arrow member may have a first tapered surface (54) that can contact the corner of the heat dissipation sheet when moving along the axis, and a second tapered surface (55) that prevents interference with the mount. This makes it possible to prevent the arrow member from getting caught on the edge of the mount when the arrow member enters between the mount and the protective film.

[0047] The protective film peeling method of the present invention is a protective film peeling method comprising the steps of: peeling a backing from a three-layer structure having a backing attached to one side of a heat dissipation sheet and a protective film attached to the other side of the heat dissipation sheet; attaching the one side of the heat dissipation sheet to a product; and peeling the protective film from the other side of the heat dissipation sheet, The method includes the steps of: squashing the corners of the heat dissipation sheet of the three-layer structure, gripping the gripping portion (400) of the protective film formed in the depression of the crushed heat dissipation sheet, peeling off the backing of the three-layer structure and attaching the heat dissipation sheet and the protective film to the outer surface of the product, and moving the gripping portion (corresponding to the gripping portion) of the gripped protective film along the sheet surface of the heat dissipation sheet attached to the product to peel off the protective film. As a result, an external force acts to press the heat dissipation sheet against the outer surface of the product when the protective film is peeled off, so the protective film can be peeled off without lifting the heat dissipation sheet.

[0048] The protective film peeling method of the present invention includes a step of cutting out the heat dissipation sheet and the protective film from the backing paper after the squeezing step, which makes it easy to grip the gripping margin of the protective film, thereby making it possible to smoothly peel off the protective film. In the protective film peeling method of the present invention, the position where the heat dissipating sheet is crushed may be the edge corner (200) of the heat dissipating sheet, which makes it easier to form a gripping margin for the protective film.

[0049] In the protective film peeling method of the present invention, the protective film peeling step uses a bending force generated by bending the protective film to peel off only the protective film, thereby making it possible to prevent the heat dissipation sheet from peeling off together with the protective film by utilizing the elasticity of the protective film.

[0050] In the protective film peeling method of the present invention, the step of peeling off the protective film can be performed simultaneously by pressing the heat dissipation sheet attached to the product against the surface (outer surface) of the product to which it is attached and peeling off the protective film from the heat dissipation sheet. This allows the operation of pressing the heat dissipation sheet against the product and the operation of peeling off the protective film from the heat dissipation sheet to be performed simultaneously, so that only the protective film can be peeled off without damage.

[0051] In the protective film peeling method of the present invention, in the step of peeling off the protective film, when the gripping portion of the protective film is moved relative to the heat dissipation sheet, the elastic force generated by the curved shape of the protective film can apply a pushing force to the heat dissipation sheet on the product in a direction perpendicular to the outer surface of the product. Therefore, a pressing force is applied to counter the force lifting the heat dissipation sheet together with the product, so that the protective film can be peeled off from the heat dissipation sheet even when the adhesive force between the heat dissipation sheet and the protective film is greater than the adhesive force between the product and the heat dissipation sheet.
