Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0021] Hereinafter, a toy according to one aspect representing one side of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a disassembled state of the toy 1A(1). FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the toy 1A seen from the upper end side. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the toy 1A is configured to be connectable to a flat base plate 10 provided with a plurality of convex portions 12. The base plate 10 constitutes a first member. The toy 1A has a connecting structure on both end sides (upper and lower sides in the figure) of a main body portion 20 having, for example, a prism with a pentagonal cross-section. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, one end side of the main body portion 20 has an annular first connecting portion 22 connectable to the base plate 10, and the other end side has, as shown in FIG. 2, a second connecting portion 24 having, for example, four convex portions. This second connecting portion 24 protrudes from the end face 23 on the other end side in a direction opposite to the first connecting portion 22 and is configured in substantially the same shape as the convex portion 12.
[0022] FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective view of the first connecting portion 22. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a portion along line A-A in FIG. 3. The first connecting portion 22 has a wall portion 22a that protrudes annularly from a pentagonal opposing portion 21 that faces the base plate 10 in a state of being connected to the base plate 10 (see FIG. 6). Further, inside the wall portion 22a, an annular protrusion portion 22b concentric with the wall portion 22a is provided. Also, the wall portion 22a of the first connecting portion 22 is configured to be located inside the outer edge 21e of the opposing portion 21.
[0023] The opposing portion 21 and the first connecting portion 22 are constituted by, for example, an end face member 2 that is attached inside the main body portion 20 and is inserted and connected. That is, at one end side of the main body portion 20, a substantially cylindrical end face member 2 having a pentagonal flange portion 21a on the outer periphery can be configured to be fitted. Inside the annular wall portion 22a, a reinforcing rib 28 is provided. This reinforcing rib 28 is provided, for example, radially from below the protrusion portion 22b toward the inside of the wall portion 22a so as to connect the protrusion portion 22b and the wall portion 22a.
[0024] The reinforcing rib 28 is provided so as to be flush with or positioned deeper than the flange portion 21a so as not to interfere with the convex portion 12 when connected to the base plate 10. Further, a protrusion reinforcing rib 29 is provided inside the protrusion portion 22b. Since this protrusion reinforcing rib 29 does not interfere with the convex portion 12, it is provided up to the tip edge side of the protrusion portion 22b.
[0025] Figure 5 is a side view of the toy 1A. As shown in FIG. 5, the first connecting portion 22 is configured such that the protruding amount (h2) from the opposing portion 21 is substantially the same as the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12 on the base plate 10. By the term "substantially the same protruding amount" here, the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22 may be equal to or greater than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12 on the base plate 10, or conversely, less than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12. That is, when the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22 is equal to or greater than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12, the tip portion of the first connecting portion 22 contacts the base portion 11 of the base plate 10. On the other hand, when the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22 is less than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12, the tip portion of the convex portion 12 contacts the outer edge 21e. Further, the protruding amount (h3) of the second connecting portion 24 is configured to be the same as the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22.
[0026] Figure 6 is a perspective view showing the attached state of the toy 1A. Figure 7 is an explanatory view showing the positional relationship between the first connecting portion 22, the outer edge 21e, and the convex portion 12 in the attached state of the toy 1A.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 6, the toy 1A is attached to a number of convex portions 12 provided in an aligned state on the base plate 10 such that the first connecting portion 22 enters between the convex portions 12. The positional relationship between the convex portion 12 and the first connecting portion 22 in this state is as shown in FIG. 7. For example, the protrusion portion 22b is positioned so as to be surrounded by four convex portions 12, and the wall portion 22a is positioned adjacent to and surrounding the outside of these four convex portions 12.
[0028] In the case shown in FIG. 7, the protrusion 21b is provided so as to contact the convex portion 12. Note that the wall portion 22a may be in contact with the convex portion 12, or further, both the wall portion 22a and the protrusion 22b may be in contact with the convex portion 12. The toy 1A is firmly connected in a state where the convex portion 12 is disposed between the annular wall portion 22a and the protrusion 22b in any connected state. Further, the main body portion 20 is rotatably supported with respect to the base plate 10 in a state where the first connecting portion 22 is connected to the convex portion 12. That is, the main body portion 20 is rotatably supported about a rotation axis extending in the thickness direction of the base portion 11 of the base plate 10. In other words, the base plate 10 is rotatably supported along the surface of the base portion 11.
[0029] Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 7, the opposing portion 21 is positioned such that its outer edge 21e faces the upper end portion of the convex portion 12 at a plurality of locations. Thereby, the opposing portion 21 is positionally restricted by the convex portion 12 in the thickness direction of the base plate 10, and the uprightness of the main body portion 20 with respect to the base plate 10 can be maintained.
[0030] FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing a first modification of the toy 1B. The toy 1B shown in FIG. 8 has the same configuration as the toy 1A shown in FIG. 2, except that the length of the main body portion 20 is shorter.
[0031] FIG. 9 is a perspective view showing a second modification of the toy 1C. The toy 1C shown in FIG. 9 has a main body portion 20 configured in a pentagonal pyramid shape. Further, a second connecting portion 24 composed of one convex portion is provided on the end surface 23 on the other end side (upper side). Regarding the opposing portion 21, the other configuration is the same as the configuration shown in FIG. 3, except that the above-described flange portion 21a is not provided.
[0032] FIG. 10 is a perspective view showing a third modification of the toy 1D. The configuration of the toy 1D shown in FIG. 10 has a shape similar to that of the toy 1C shown in FIG. 9, and the main body 20 is in the shape of a square pyramid. Also, unlike the shape of the first connecting portion 22 described above, it is not a perfect circle but has a shape with a flat surface 22ba.
[0033] FIG. 11 is a perspective view showing an example of how to play. In the toy 1 configured as described above, for example, the toy 1A can be attached on the base plate 10, another toy 1C can be connected thereon, and further, a predetermined member 30 imitating a flag or the like can be connected on the toy 1C to create a high tower and play.
[0034] As described above, in the toy 1 of this embodiment, since the first connecting portion 22 is provided so as to protrude from the opposing portion 21 and is provided inside the outer edge 21e of the opposing portion 21, when the first connecting portion 22 is connected to the convex portion 12 of the base plate 10, the outer edge 21e of the opposing portion 21 is positioned so as to face the base plate 10 at the outer periphery outside the first connecting portion 22. Therefore, the main body 20 can be reliably held by the connection of the first connecting portion 22. Further, since the protruding amount of the first connecting portion 22 and the protruding amount of the convex portion 12 are configured to be substantially the same, contact between the convex portion 12 and the outer edge 21e is enabled, and it is easy to perform position regulation of the connecting portion.
[0035] Also, in this embodiment, since the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22 is equal to or greater than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12, when the main body 20 is attached to the base plate 10, the tip of the first connecting portion 22 can be attached so as to contact the base portion 11 of the base plate 10. Thereby, stable holding of the main body 20 becomes possible. On the other hand, when the protruding amount (h2) of the first connecting portion 22 is less than the protruding amount (h1) of the convex portion 12, the outer edge 21e can contact the upper end of the convex portion 12, and thereby, stable holding of the main body 20 is possible.
[0036] In this aspect, on the opposite side of the opposing portion 21, the main body portion 20 has a second connecting portion 24 with substantially the same shape as the convex portion 12 and a protruding amount of the first connecting portion 22 protruding therefrom. Thus, another predetermined member can be connected onto the main body portion 20 attached to the base plate 10.
[0037] Also, in this aspect, since the main body portion 20 is configured in the shape of a prism or a pyramid, flat surfaces are formed on its outer surface. As a result, it is easier for fingertips to catch on the main body portion 20, and it becomes easier to apply force. Consequently, even when the connection between the first connecting portion 22 and the convex portion 12 is firm, the attachability and detachability of the main body portion 20 can be improved.
[0038] In this aspect, the main body portion 20 is rotatably supported with respect to the base plate 10 in a state where the first connecting portion 22 is connected to the convex portion 12. Therefore, the connection direction can be freely changed. Further, when attaching and detaching the two members, it can be performed while rotating, and the attachability and detachability can be improved even in a firmly fixed state.
[0039] In this aspect, in the connection state with the base plate 10, the annular wall portion 22a of the first connecting portion 22 is configured to position a plurality of convex portions 12 inside. Thus, the stability of the connection state of the main body portion 20 can be achieved. Further, by providing a protruding portion 22b at a position sandwiching the convex portion 12, the stable holding of the main body portion 20 in the connection state can be further improved. Also, since a reinforcing rib 28 is provided inside the annular wall portion 22a, the rigidity of the first connecting portion 22 is enhanced. Further, since the reinforcing rib 28 is connected to the protruding portion 22b, a more secure attachment becomes possible.
[0040] As described above, one aspect of the present invention has been explained. However, the present invention can be appropriately modified within the scope of its technical idea. For example, in the above aspect, the first connecting portion 22 is configured to have the wall portion 22a and the protruding portion 22b, but it is not necessarily limited to this, and a configuration having only one of them may be sufficient.
[0041] Also, in the above aspect, although the first connecting portion 22 has a continuous annular configuration, it does not necessarily have to be a continuous annulus.
