Abstract
To provide a storage method for harvest residues that enables efficient utilization, as a resource, of harvest residues generated in fields.SOLUTION: In a storage method for harvest residues, a compression-molded body of harvest residues generated in a field is stored as a raw material for methane fermentation. The method comprises: adding water to the harvest residues before or after molding into the compression-molded body by a compression molding machine; and storing the harvest residues such that at least the inside of the compression-molded body is maintained in a moist state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
