Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0007] In a method of fixing a measuring device for acquiring biological information on a human body, such as Patent Document 1, in order to fix the measuring device to the skin for a long period of time, the adhesive for fixing the measuring device is set to have a very strong adhesive force. The inventor has found that, due to the strong adhesive force, in the fixing of such a measuring device, the load on the skin is very large, and despite such a strong adhesive force, it is difficult for some users to fix the measuring device to the skin for a long period of time, and the measuring device may come off in a short period of time.
[0008] The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive material set capable of achieving both reduction of the burden on the skin and long-term fixation of the measuring device in the fixation of the measuring device used by being fixed to the skin.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0009] An adhesive material set according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first adhesive material attached onto the skin, and on the upper layer thereof, a measuring device including a needle for puncturing the skin, a measuring device main body connected to the needle, and an adhesive portion attached to the surface of the measuring device main body where the needle is provided and having a protruding portion protruding beyond the surface of the measuring device main body is attached via the adhesive portion. Further, by attaching a second adhesive material onto the upper layer of the protruding portion of the adhesive portion, it is an adhesive material set for fixing the measuring device to the skin. The first adhesive material has a first hole portion having a size that allows the needle to pass through, and is configured such that the entire surface of the adhesive portion other than the portion overlapping with the first hole portion when the measuring device is installed on the upper layer of the first adhesive material can be arranged on the first adhesive material. The second adhesive material is configured to be attachable across the protruding portion of the adhesive portion and the first adhesive material.
[0010] In such an adhesive material set, since the first adhesive material is configured such that when a measuring device is installed on the upper layer of the first adhesive material, the entire adhesive portion of the measuring device can be disposed on the first adhesive material, the adhesive portion of the measuring device is not strongly fixed directly to the skin. Further, since the second adhesive material is adhered across the protruding portion of the adhesive portion and the first adhesive material, the measuring device can be securely fixed while reducing the burden on the skin. Thereby, it is possible to achieve both reduction of the burden on the skin and long-term fixation of the measuring device.
[0011] In the above aspect, the second adhesive material is preferably configured to be divided into a plurality of parts. When the second adhesive material can be divided and adhered into a plurality of parts, it becomes easy to align the second adhesive material when adhering it so as not to cover the measuring device body.
[0012] In the above aspect, the second adhesive material preferably includes a non-covering portion that does not cover the measuring device body when adhered across the protruding portion of the adhesive portion and the first adhesive material. By not covering the measuring device body, heat dissipation from the measuring device body becomes easy, and it has excellent air permeability and moisture permeability, further preventing stuffiness caused by the device and the adhesion of the adhesive material.
[0013] In the above aspect, the non-covering portion is preferably a second hole portion having a size that allows the measuring device body to pass through. Since the second adhesive material can be adhered with the measuring device body passed through the second hole portion, the measuring device can be fixed more securely.
[0014] In the above aspect, the first adhesive material may be substantially circular and may have a first hole portion at its approximate center. Further, the measuring device body may have a substantially disk shape and may be provided with a needle at its approximate center.
[0015] In the above aspect, the first adhesive material and the second adhesive material preferably do not have corners. According to this aspect, peeling of the first and second adhesive materials is further suppressed.
[0016] In the above aspect, the first adhesive material and the second adhesive material may include an adhesive layer, a base material layer, and a protective layer. In this aspect, the base material layer includes a polyurethane elastomer having a glass transition temperature of 0°C or lower, and the adhesive layer includes an acrylic adhesive composed of a copolymer containing at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of alkyl acrylates and alkyl methacrylates having 8 to 12 carbon atoms in a proportion of 70% by weight or more. It is preferable that the thickness of the base material layer is 1.0 μm or more and 20 μm or less, the thickness of the adhesive layer is 1.0 μm or more and 20 μm or less, and the total thickness of these two layers is 2.0 μm or more and 30 μm or less. According to this aspect, by conforming to the fine irregularities (fine grooves) of the skin, it has high adhesion to the skin, the applied area is not conspicuous, it can easily follow the movement of the skin, and it can be made into an adhesive material that is less likely to cause irritation. Also, in the first adhesive material, the adhesive force with the adhesive part of the measuring device attached to the upper layer is increased, and in the second adhesive material, cosmetics can be easily applied from above it.
[0017] In the above aspect, it is preferable that the polyurethane elastomer is a polyether-based polyurethane elastomer, and the alkyl acrylate is at least one selected from the group consisting of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate, n-octyl acrylate, and isononyl acrylate.
Advantages of the Invention
[0018] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an adhesive material set that can achieve both reduction of the burden on the skin and long-term fixation of the measuring device in the fixation of the measuring device used by fixing it to the skin.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0020] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention (hereinafter referred to as "the present embodiment") will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist thereof. In the following description of the drawings, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. The drawings are schematic and do not necessarily match the actual dimensions, ratios, etc. There may be parts where the dimensional relationships and ratios are different between the drawings.
[0021] [Adhesive Material Set] The adhesive material set of the present embodiment is used to fix to the skin a measuring device comprising a needle for puncturing the skin to obtain body fluid, a measuring device main body connected to the needle for measuring the body fluid obtained by the needle, and an adhesive portion attached to the surface of the measuring device main body provided with the needle for fixing the needle and the measuring device main body to the skin. The fixed measuring device measures biological information such as blood glucose level or glucose value or information related thereto from body fluid, typically blood, plasma, interstitial fluid or lymph fluid, particularly interstitial fluid, and wirelessly or wiredly transmits it to an external information processing device as necessary. The measuring device may be fixed, for example, on the arm, leg, or abdomen.
[0022] The attachment material set of this embodiment includes a first attachment material and a second attachment material. FIG. 1 is a plan view of (A) the first attachment material and (B) the second attachment material in the attachment material set of this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the first attachment material 10 has a first hole portion 11, and the second attachment material 20 has a second hole portion 23. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the second attachment material 20 is composed of a first member 21 and a second member 22 that can be separated and attached individually. However, as shown in FIG. 4, the second attachment material 20 may not have the second hole portion 23 or may be composed of one member.
[0023] FIG. 2 is a (A) perspective view and (B) schematic cross-sectional view passing through the center of the measuring device showing an example of the usage mode of the attachment material set of this embodiment. In the attachment material set of this embodiment, the first attachment material 10 is attached to the skin, the measuring device 30 is attached thereon via the adhesive portion 33, and further, the second attachment material 20 is attached so as to cover the adhesive portion 33 and the first attachment material 10 for use. In FIG. 2, the second attachment material 20 is composed of a first member 21 and a second member 22. Also, in the schematic cross-sectional view of FIG. 2(B), the internal mechanism of the measuring device 30 is omitted.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the first attachment material 10 is attached on the skin (not shown), and on the upper layer thereof, there is provided a measuring device 30 including a needle 32 for puncturing the skin, a measuring device main body 31 connected to the needle 32, and an adhesive portion 33 attached to the surface of the measuring device main body 31 where the needle 32 is provided and having a protruding portion protruding beyond the surface of the measuring device main body 31. The measuring device 30 is attached via the adhesive portion 33, and further, the second attachment material 20 is attached on the upper layer of the protruding portion of the adhesive portion 33. The first attachment material 10 has a first hole portion 11 sized to allow the needle 32 to pass through, and is configured such that the entire surface of the adhesive portion 33 except for the portion overlapping the first hole portion 11 when the measuring device 30 is installed on the upper layer of the first attachment material 10 can be disposed on the first attachment material 10. Also, the second attachment material 20 is configured to be attachable across the protruding portion of the adhesive portion 33 and the first attachment material 10 while not covering the measuring device main body 31. Note that, as shown in FIG. 4, the second attachment material 20 may cover the measuring device main body 31.
[0025] When the measuring device 30 is fixed to the skin without using the adhesive material set of the present embodiment, the adhesive portion 33 comes into direct contact with the skin, and the measuring device 30 is fixed to the skin only by the adhesive force of the adhesive portion 33. Since the measuring device 30 is for collecting body fluid (for example, blood, plasma, interstitial fluid, lymph fluid, etc.), particularly interstitial fluid, by puncturing the skin with a needle, it is generally disposable from the viewpoint of hygiene management. Therefore, from the viewpoint of cost, it is desirable that the measuring device 30 can be used continuously for about two weeks, for example, once it is attached, and the adhesive portion 33 has a very strong adhesive force so that the measuring device 30 does not come off the skin even during such long-term use. Therefore, when the measuring device 30 is used alone, there may be a burden on the skin when removing the measuring device 30 after use. In addition, the adhered portion may become swollen due to prolonged contact between the adhesive portion 33 having a strong adhesive force and the skin. In addition, the components added to the adhesive of the adhesive portion 33 may cause inflammation to the skin. Further, the measuring device 30 may come off the skin within two weeks due to a decrease in the adhesive force of the adhesive portion 33 when, for example, the user sweats a lot during wearing, the adhesive portion 33 rubs against clothes, or the measuring device 30 receives an impact.
[0026] By fixing the measuring device 30 to the skin using the adhesive material set of the present embodiment, at least one of the above problems can be solved. That is, when the measuring device 30 is installed on the upper layer of the first adhesive material 10, the entire surface of the adhesive portion 33 of the measuring device 30 other than the portion overlapping the first hole portion 11 can be disposed on the first adhesive material 10. Therefore, the adhesive portion 33 of the measuring device 30 hardly directly contacts the skin. On the other hand, the first adhesive material 10 can have an adhesive force that does not cause a burden on the user's skin by appropriately adjusting the adhesive force. Further, since the second adhesive material 20 is attached to the portion protruding from the measuring device main body 31 of the adhesive portion 33 and straddles the first adhesive material 10, the measuring device 30 is fixed not only by the adhesive force at the interface between the adhesive portion 33 and the first adhesive material 10 but also by the adhesive force at the interface between the adhesive portion 33 and the second adhesive material 20. Further, by appropriately adjusting the adhesive force per unit area and the area of the second adhesive material 20, the adhesive force per unit area that does not cause a burden on the skin can be obtained, and the adhesive force of the first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 as a whole can be made sufficient.
[0027] Further, while the adhesive portion 33 is provided in the measuring device 30, the first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 can be freely selected regardless of the type of the measuring device 30. Therefore, for example, by using an adhesive material having a layer structure as described later, it is possible to conform to fine irregularities (fine grooves) of the skin, so that the adhesion to the skin is high, the pasted portion is not conspicuous, it can easily follow the movement of the skin, and it is resistant to moisture such as sweat and is unlikely to cause irritation. An adhesive material can be obtained. Further, in the first adhesive material 10, not only can the adhesive force with the adhesive portion 33 of the measuring device 30 attached to the upper layer be increased, but also the adhesive force with the skin can be adjusted. Further, in the second adhesive material 20, not only can a cosmetic be easily applied from above, but also the adhesive force with the skin can be adjusted. Further, by using a thin adhesive material, an adhesive material that hardly forms a step on the skin can be obtained. Such an adhesive material reduces rubbing with clothes and the like, becomes more difficult to peel off, and can be made less conspicuous.
[0028] Furthermore, in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the second adhesive member 20 has a non-covered portion so as to be attachable across the adhesive portion 33 and the first adhesive member 10 without covering the measurement device main body 31. Thereby, heat radiation from the measurement device main body 31 becomes easy, air permeability and moisture permeability are excellent, and sweating due to the attachment of the device and the adhesive member can be further prevented. As a result, there is a tendency that skin rash and the adhesive force of the adhesive member set of the present embodiment can be further maintained. As described above, the second adhesive member 20 may cover the measurement device main body 31 as shown in FIG. 4. By using an adhesive member having high air permeability or moisture permeability as the second adhesive member 20, sweating can be prevented even when the measurement device main body 31 is covered.
[0029] The shapes and sizes of the first adhesive member and the second adhesive member of the adhesive member set of the present embodiment can be appropriately changed according to the shape and size of the measurement device fixed to the skin and the installation position of the needle. Further, the shape and size of the measurement device fixed to the skin and the installation position of the needle are not particularly limited.
[0030] (First Adhesive Member) The first adhesive member has a first hole portion having a size that allows the needle provided in the measurement device to pass therethrough, and when the measurement device is installed on the upper layer of the first adhesive member, the entire surface of the adhesive portion other than the portion overlapping the first hole portion can be arranged on the first adhesive member, and it is used by being directly attached to the skin.
[0031] In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the first adhesive member 10 is substantially circular, and a first hole portion 11 is provided at substantially the center thereof. The measurement device main body 31 has a substantially disk shape (also referred to as a disk shape), and a needle 32 for collecting body fluid from the skin is provided at substantially the center thereof. The measurement device 30 has an adhesive portion 33 on the surface of the measurement device main body 31 where the needle 32 is provided, that is, the surface that is in close contact with the skin. The adhesive portion 33 is substantially circular, extends from the surface of the measurement device main body 31 to which the adhesive portion 33 is attached, and protrudes from the measurement device main body 31 when the measurement device 30 is viewed in plan. That is, the adhesive portion 33 has a diameter larger than that of the measurement device main body 31.
[0032] The first adhesive material 10 has an outer diameter larger than the diameter of the adhesive portion 33, and since the outer periphery of the first adhesive material 10 completely surrounds the adhesive portion 33, the adhesive portion 33 is attached onto the first adhesive material 10 without protruding from the outer diameter of the first adhesive material 10. The diameter of the measuring device main body 31, the diameter of the adhesive portion 33, and the outer diameter of the first adhesive material 10 are configured to increase in this order.
[0033] In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the first adhesive material 10, the measuring device main body 31, and the adhesive portion 33 are substantially circular or substantially disk-shaped, but they do not necessarily have to be substantially circular or substantially disk-shaped. In this case, the relationship of the outer peripheries of the first adhesive material, the measuring device main body, and the adhesive portion only needs to be the same as described above.
[0034] The relationship of the outer peripheries of the first adhesive material, the measuring device main body, and the adhesive portion will be described with reference to FIG. 3, which is a plan view showing the usage mode of the adhesive material set of the present embodiment. FIG. 3(A) is a view showing a state where the first adhesive material 10 is attached to the skin and the measuring device 30 is attached thereon. As shown in FIG. 3(A), in a plan view, the adhesive portion 33 is larger than the measuring device main body 31 and has a protruding portion 331 protruding from the measuring device main body 31. Further, the first adhesive material 10 is larger than the adhesive portion 33 and has a protruding portion 101 protruding from around the measuring device main body 31. Thus, since the first adhesive material 10 has the protruding portion 101 in a plan view, the area where the adhesive portion 33 directly contacts the skin is limited to the portion of the first hole portion 11, and the burden on the skin due to the direct contact of the adhesive portion 33 with the skin is reduced. Further, since the adhesive portion 33 has the protruding portion 331 in a plan view, the measuring device 30 can be reliably fixed using the second adhesive material 20 as will be described later.
[0035] As in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, when the first adhesive material is substantially circular, the measuring device body is substantially disk-shaped, and the adhesive portion is substantially circular, the needle provided on the measuring device body is preferably located at substantially the center of the measuring device body, and the first hole portion is preferably located at substantially the center of the first adhesive material. According to such an aspect, it is easy to design the first adhesive material so as to achieve the relationship between the outer peripheries of the first adhesive material, the measuring device body, and the adhesive portion as described above.
[0036] Returning to FIGS. 1 and 2, the first hole portion 11 of the first adhesive material 10 will be described. The first hole portion 11 only needs to be configured so that the needle 32 of the measuring device 30 can pass therethrough. The diameter of the first hole portion 11 may be, for example, 0.2 cm or more, 0.5 cm or more, 0.7 cm or more, 0.9 cm or more, or 1.0 cm or more, and may be 2.0 cm or less, 1.8 cm or less, or 1.5 cm or less. When the first hole portion is not substantially circular, it may have the maximum diameter within the above numerical range.
[0037] The first hole portion 11 is, for example, substantially circular, substantially elliptical, substantially rectangular, substantially square, substantially triangular, other polygons, or partial shapes thereof. The area of the first hole portion 11 is, for example, 0.01 cm 2 or more, 0.06 cm 2 or more, 0.13 cm 2 or more, 0.20 cm 2 or more, or 0.25 cm 2 or more, and may be 1.0 cm 2 or less, 0.81 cm 2 or less, or 0.56 cm 2 or less. By setting the size of the first hole portion within the above range, the area where the adhesive portion directly contacts the skin is limited, and it becomes easy to align the needle of the measuring device with the first hole portion. Note that when the first hole portion is not provided, the needle of the measuring device will penetrate the first adhesive material and puncture the skin, which is not appropriate as a method of using the measuring device.
[0038] The size and shape of the first adhesive material 10 can be appropriately selected according to the size and shape of the measuring device. In one embodiment, the length of the longest part of the first adhesive material 10 is, for example, 3.0 cm or more and 10 cm or less, or 3.0 cm or more and 7.0 cm or less. In one embodiment, the first adhesive material 10 is, for example, substantially circular, substantially elliptical, substantially rectangular, substantially square, substantially triangular, other polygons, or partial shapes thereof.
[0039] In one embodiment, the first adhesive material 10 has no corners. That is, in this aspect, the first adhesive material 10 has no acute or obtuse corners. If the first adhesive material 10 has corners, after the first adhesive material 10 is attached to the skin, the first adhesive material 10 tends to peel off starting from the corners. Therefore, since the first adhesive material 10 has no corners, it can be made into an adhesive material that is less likely to peel off during use.
[0040] (Second Adhesive Material) The second adhesive material is configured to be able to be attached across the protruding part of the adhesive part from the measuring device main body and the first adhesive material, and is used by being attached on the adhesive part and the first adhesive material.
[0041] In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the second adhesive material 20 is substantially circular, and when attached across the protruding part of the adhesive part 33 and the first adhesive material 10, a second hole part 23 (uncovered part) is provided at its substantially center so as not to cover the measuring device main body 31. When the second adhesive material 20 has the second hole part 23, the second adhesive material 20 can be easily attached on the adhesive part 33 and the first adhesive material 10 while not covering the measuring device main body 31.
[0042] The second adhesive material 20 has an outer diameter larger than that of the first adhesive material 10 and an inner diameter (that is, the diameter of the second hole part 23) smaller than the diameter of the adhesive part 33, so it can be attached across the adhesive part 33 and the first adhesive material 10 and from above them. The inner diameter of the second adhesive material 20, the diameter of the adhesive part 33, the outer diameter of the first adhesive material 10, and the outer diameter of the second adhesive material 20 are configured to increase in this order.
[0043] In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the first adhesive member 10, the measuring device main body 31, the adhesive portion 33, the second adhesive member 20, and the second hole portion 23 are substantially circular or substantially disk-shaped, but they do not necessarily have to be substantially circular or substantially disk-shaped. In this case, the relationship between the outer diameter of the first adhesive member, the diameter of the measuring device main body, the diameter of the adhesive portion, the outer diameter of the second adhesive member, and the diameter of the second hole portion may be the same as described above.
[0044] The relationship between the outer diameter of the first adhesive member, the diameter of the measuring device main body, the diameter of the adhesive portion, the outer diameter of the second adhesive member, and the diameter of the second hole portion will be described with reference to FIG. 3. FIG. 3(B) is a diagram showing a state in which the first adhesive member 10 is attached to the skin, the measuring device 30 is attached thereon, and the second adhesive member is further attached thereon. As shown in FIG. 3(B), in a plan view, at least a part of the protruding portion 331 of the adhesive portion 33 and all of the protruding portion 101 of the first adhesive member 10 are covered by the second adhesive member 20. In this way, since the second adhesive member 20 can be attached so as to cover the adhesive portion 33, the first adhesive member 10, and the skin across them, the first adhesive member 10 and the measuring device 30 can be securely fixed to the skin.
[0045] As in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the second adhesive member 20 is preferably configured to be attachable in a divided manner to a plurality of parts. According to such an aspect, instead of aligning and attaching the second adhesive member 20 so that the second hole portion 23 passes through the measuring device main body 31, the first member 21 of the second adhesive member 20 is attached in accordance with the circumference of the measuring device main body 31, and then the second member 22 is attached in accordance with the opposite circumference of the measuring device main body 31, whereby the second hole portion 23 can be easily provided around the measuring device main body 31. When the second adhesive member 20 is attached in a divided manner to a plurality of parts, the ends of the respective parts may overlap or a gap may be formed without the respective parts contacting each other.
[0046] Figure 4 shows (A) a cross-sectional view and (B) a plan view of a usage mode when the second adhesive material 20 is attached so as to cover the measurement device main body 31. In the mode shown in Figure 4, the second adhesive material 20 is attached so as to cover the first adhesive material 10, the measurement device main body 31, and the adhesive portion 33. That is, as shown in Figure 4(B), in a plan view, the second adhesive material 20 covers the protruding portion 331 of the adhesive portion 33, the protruding portion 101 of the first adhesive material 10, and at least a part or all of the measurement device main body 31. In this case, the second adhesive material 20 may be provided with one or more ventilation holes.
[0047] Returning to Figures 1 and 2, the second hole portion 23 of the second adhesive material 20 will be described. The second hole portion 23 may be appropriately adjusted according to the shape and size of the measurement device main body 31. The shape of the circumference of the second hole portion (that is, the inner diameter of the second adhesive material 20) may be designed to be the same as the shape of the outer circumference of the measurement device main body 31.
[0048] The size and shape of the second adhesive material 20 can be appropriately selected according to the size and shape of the first adhesive material 10 and the measurement device 30. In one embodiment, the length of the longest part of the second adhesive material 20 is, for example, 3.0 cm or more and 10 cm or less. In one embodiment, the second adhesive material 20 is, for example, substantially circular, substantially elliptical, substantially rectangular, substantially square, substantially triangular, other polygons, or partial shapes thereof.
[0049] In one embodiment, the second adhesive material 20 has no corners. That is, in this mode, the second adhesive material 20 has no sharp or obtuse corners. When the second adhesive material 20 has corners, after the second adhesive material 20 is attached to the skin, the second adhesive material 20 tends to peel off starting from the corners. Therefore, by the second adhesive material 20 having no corners, it can be made into an adhesive material that is less likely to peel off during use.
[0050] (Configuration Example of Adhesive Material) The materials and layer configurations constituting the first adhesive material and the second adhesive material are not particularly limited as long as they can be used as adhesive materials. Fig. 5 shows an example of a preferred embodiment of a schematic cross-sectional view of the first adhesive material 10. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, the first adhesive material 10 has a laminated structure of a holding material 10d, an adhesive layer 10a, a base material layer 10b, and a protective layer 10c. The laminated structure of the adhesive layer 10a, the base material layer 10b, and the protective layer 10c excluding the holding material 10d may be used as the first adhesive material 10. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, the thicknesses of the adhesive layer and the base material layer can be made very thin, so that when pasted, it can conform to fine irregularities (fine grooves) on the skin, the pasted area is not conspicuous, and it can easily follow the movement of the skin, and it can be made into an adhesive material that is unlikely to cause stuffiness. In addition, in the first adhesive material 10, not only can the adhesive force with the adhesive portion 33 of the measuring device 30 attached to the upper layer be increased, but also the adhesive force with the skin can be adjusted. Further, in the second adhesive material 20, not only can cosmetics be easily applied from above, but also the adhesive force with the skin can be adjusted.
[0051] The adhesive layer 10a is a layer for imparting adhesiveness to the first adhesive material 10. The adhesive layer 10a preferably has an adhesive force sufficient to hold the first adhesive material 10 in a state where the measuring device 30 is attached to the upper layer, and is configured not to impose an excessive burden on the skin when the first adhesive material 10 is pasted on the skin.
[0052] Examples of the adhesive included in the adhesive layer 10a include rubber-based adhesives, acrylic-based adhesives, and silicone-based adhesives. From the viewpoints of being less likely to cause stuffiness during pasting, having transparency, and being easy to adjust adhesive properties, etc., the adhesive layer 10a preferably contains an acrylic-based adhesive.
[0053] In one embodiment, the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is a copolymer (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "acrylic ester copolymer") containing at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid alkyl esters and methacrylic acid alkyl esters having an alkyl group with 8 to 12 carbon atoms in a proportion of 70% by weight or more. As the above monomer, an acrylic acid alkyl ester is preferable, and more specifically, for example, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate, n-octyl acrylate, and isononyl acrylate are more preferable.
[0054] The acrylic ester copolymer preferably has a content of acrylic acid alkyl ester and / or methacrylic acid alkyl ester units having an alkyl group with 8 to 12 carbon atoms of 70% by weight or more, and more preferably 80% by weight or more. The acrylic ester copolymer may be a copolymer of one or more of the above monomers, but is more preferably a copolymer with other comonomers.
[0055] Examples of other comonomers include monomers having a functional group such as monomers having a carboxyl group such as acrylic acid and methacrylic acid; monomers having a hydroxyl group such as hydroxyethyl acrylate and hydroxypropyl acrylate. As other comonomers, various monomers such as vinyl acetate, styrene, vinyl pyrrolidone, and acrylamide can also be used. Further, an acrylic acid alkyl ester or methacrylic acid alkyl ester having an alkyl group other than an alkyl group with 8 to 12 carbon atoms, such as ethyl acrylate and butyl acrylate, can also be used as a comonomer.
[0056] In one embodiment, the acrylic ester copolymer is a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 70 to 95% by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid alkyl esters and methacrylic acid alkyl esters having an alkyl group with 8 to 12 carbon atoms, 1 to 10% by weight of a comonomer having a functional group, and 0 to 25% by weight of other comonomers.
[0057] The acrylic adhesive can be prepared by solution polymerization of the above monomer components in an organic solvent such as toluene, hexane, ethyl acetate, etc. using a peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide or an azo compound such as AIBN (azobisisobutyronitrile) as an initiator under a nitrogen atmosphere. The acrylic adhesive can also be prepared by emulsion polymerization after emulsifying and dispersing the monomer components in water with an emulsifier. A crosslinking agent such as an epoxy resin may be added to the acrylic adhesive and crosslinked in the process of forming the adhesive layer.
[0058] In one embodiment, the thickness of the adhesive layer 10a is 1.0 μm or more and 20 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 15 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 12 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 8.0 μm or less, or 1.0 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less. When the thickness of the adhesive layer 10a is equal to or less than the above upper limit value, it becomes easier to follow wrinkles and fine irregularities on the skin. When the thickness of the adhesive layer 10a is equal to or more than the above lower limit value, it becomes easier to form the adhesive layer uniformly.
[0059] The adhesive force of the adhesive layer 10a is preferably adjusted so that the 90-degree peel force of the counter bakelite plate measured at a crosshead moving speed of 300 ± 30 mm per minute according to JIS Z 0237 is 0.1 N / 10 mm or more. This peel force is a characteristic corresponding to the adhesive force of the adhesive layer 10a. The peel force of the adhesive layer 10a is preferably 0.1 to 3 N / 10 mm, more preferably 0.2 to 3 N / 10 mm. By setting the peel force (adhesive force) within an appropriate range, the measuring device 30 can be securely fixed while reducing the burden on the skin.
[0060] The base material layer 10b is the layer that is exposed when the adhesive material is used. In one embodiment, the base material layer 10b is composed of a thin layer of polyurethane elastomer. A polyurethane elastomer is an elastomer having a urethane group in its molecule and is produced by a polyaddition reaction of a polyol component and a diisocyanate component. As the polyol component, a long-chain diol is used, and in addition, a short-chain diol may be used in combination as a chain extender. In addition, a crosslinking agent such as a monomolecular polyol such as trimethylolpropane, glycerin, or sorbitol may be used. The manufacturing technology of polyurethane elastomers is a well-known technology in the industry.
[0061] Since the type of the polyol component constituting the soft segment of the polyurethane elastomer greatly affects its properties, polyurethane elastomers are classified according to the type of the polyol component. Specifically, polyurethane elastomers are roughly classified into (1) caprolactone-based polyurethane elastomers synthesized by a polyaddition reaction of a polylactone ester polyol obtained by ring-opening polymerization of caprolactone and a diisocyanate, (2) adipic acid ester-based polyurethane elastomers synthesized by a polyaddition reaction of an adipic acid ester polyol of adipic acid and glycol and a diisocyanate, and (3) polyether-based polyurethane elastomers synthesized by a polyaddition reaction of a polyether polyol such as polytetramethylene glycol obtained by ring-opening polymerization of tetrahydrofuran and a diisocyanate.
[0062] Polyurethane elastomers are excellent in mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tear strength, abrasion resistance, low-temperature properties, flexibility, etc., and may have ultraviolet absorption, water absorption, moisture permeability, etc. A beauty adhesive material using a thin film of polyurethane elastomer as the base material layer fits well with fine irregularities such as wrinkles and skin grooves, and is less likely to cause a sense of discomfort when applied to the skin.
[0063] A sticking material having a thin film of polyurethane elastomer as a base material layer has a tendency that since the base material layer can have water absorption and moisture permeability, sweat is less likely to accumulate or stuffiness is less likely to occur at the skin sticking site. Therefore, in an embodiment in which the base material layer 10b is composed of a thin layer of polyurethane elastomer, there is an extremely small tendency to cause blisters or itching at the sticking site. The thin film of polyurethane elastomer can have water absorption and is easy to get along with water, so the application of cosmetics is easy and it is not easy to peel off even under the influence of moisture. Among these polyurethane elastomers, polyether-based polyurethane elastomers are preferred.
[0064] Examples of the diisocyanate constituting the polyurethane elastomer include aromatic diisocyanates such as tolylene diisocyanate, diphenylmethane diisocyanate, polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate, tolidine diisocyanate, and naphthalene diisocyanate; aliphatic diisocyanates such as hexamethylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, xylylene diisocyanate, dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate, and hydrogenated xylylene diisocyanate, but are not limited thereto.
[0065] For the caprolactone-based polyurethane elastomer, a polylactone ester polyol obtained by ring-opening polymerization of caprolactone is used as the polyol component. For the adipic acid ester-based polyurethane elastomer, an adipic acid ester polyol of adipic acid and glycol is used as the polyol component. For the polyether-based polyurethane elastomer, a bifunctional polyether polyol such as poly(oxypropylene) glycol (PPG) or poly(oxytetramethylene) glycol (PTMG) is used as the polyol component.
[0066] In one embodiment, the base material layer 10b is a polyurethane elastomer layer having a glass transition temperature of 0°C or lower. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the polyurethane elastomer is preferably -10°C or lower, and may be, for example, -70°C or higher. The glass transition temperature can be measured using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The first adhesive material 10 is used by being attached to the skin surface around 36.5°C. Since the glass transition temperature of the base material layer 10b is low, the flexibility during the attachment of the first adhesive material 10 can be improved. Since the polyurethane elastomer has a low glass transition temperature, it is excellent in flexibility at a temperature near body temperature, and is excellent in conformity to the skin surface and applicability of cosmetics.
[0067] Examples of the polyether-based polyurethane elastomer include Elastollan (registered trademark) (1180A, 1190ATR, 1195ATR, 1198ATR, 1154D, 1164D, ET385, ET880, ET885, ET890, ET858D, ET860D, ET864D, NY90A, NY97A, ET370) of BASF Japan Ltd., Milactran (registered trademark) (E300 series, P300 series) of Nippon Milactran Co., Ltd., Rezamin (registered trademark) (P-2000 series) of Dainichi Seika Kogyo Co., Ltd., and Pandex (registered trademark) (T8175, T8180, T8185, T8190, T8195, DP9370A, 5377A, 588, KU2-8659, DP5094A) of DICBayerPolymerLtd (DIC Bayer Polymer Co., Ltd.).
[0068] In one embodiment, the thickness of the base material layer 10b is 1.0 μm or more and 20 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 15 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 10 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 8.0 μm or less, 1.0 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less, or 1.0 μm or more and 5.0 μm or less. When the thickness of the base material layer 10b is equal to or less than the above upper limit value, the moisture permeability is high, the attached portion is less conspicuous, and the conformity to the skin surface and the followability to the movement of the skin tend to be high. When the thickness of the base material layer 10b is equal to or more than the above lower limit value, it has sufficient strength and is more excellent in handleability.
[0069] In one embodiment, the back surface of the base material layer 10b (the surface facing the protective layer 10c of the base material layer 10b) is embossed. The embossing can be performed by passing the base material layer 10b through an embossing roll. When the polyurethane elastomer layer is formed on the base material layer 10b by the solution casting method, the embossing can be performed by a method of casting on the protective layer 10c having fine irregularities on the surface. Therefore, in this specification, the embossing includes not only a mechanical treatment using an embossing roll but also other methods capable of forming fine irregularities on the surface of the base material layer 10b.
[0070] In one embodiment, the total thickness of the adhesive layer 10a and the base material layer 10b is 2.0 μm or more and 30 μm or less, 2.0 μm or more and 25 μm or less, 2.0 μm or more and 20 μm or less, 2.0 μm or more and 15 μm or less, 2.0 μm or more and 10 μm or less, or 2.0 μm or more and 7.0 μm or less. The thicknesses of the adhesive layer 10a and the base material layer 10b can be measured with a dial gauge.
[0071] The protective layer 10c is a layer for protecting the base material layer 10b from external impacts and the like before the use of the first adhesive material 10, and for improving the handleability when the first adhesive material 10 is attached. In one embodiment, the protective layer 10c is generally called a release paper, a release paper, a release liner, etc. in the technical field of adhesive tapes. In one embodiment, the protective layer 10c is a film containing a thermoplastic resin such as polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene, ionomer, polyamide, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, thermoplastic polyester, polytetrafluoroethylene. In one embodiment, the protective layer 10c is a film containing a biodegradable plastic such as polyhydroxybutyrate, polyhydroxybutyrate resin, polyhydroxyalkanoate, maltotriose, polylactic acid, polylactic acid-based resin, polyethylene succinate, polyethylene succinate resin, polybutylene succinate resin, polycaprolactone resin, polybutylene adipate terephthalate, polytetramethylene adipate terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate resin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyglycolic acid, starch fatty acid ester, starch processed resin, starch polyester, cellulose acetate, chitosan. The various films may be in a state laminated on paper. It is preferable to use a material having a greater thickness and higher handleability for the protective layer 10c as compared with the base material layer 10b.
[0072] The holding member 10d improves the handleability of the first adhesive material 10 by holding the laminated structure of the adhesive layer 10a, the base material layer 10b, and the protective layer 10c. The holding member 10d is preferably a sheet-like base material that can stably hold the first adhesive material 10 and can easily peel off the held first adhesive material 10. In one embodiment, the holding member 10d is generally a sheet-like base material called a release paper, a release paper, a release liner, etc. in the technical field of adhesive tapes. In one embodiment, the holding member 10d is, for example, a polyethylene terephthalate film with a silicone-treated surface, a laminate of polyethylene and paper with a silicone-treated surface, or the like.
[0073] The first adhesive material 10 having the above layer structure conforms to fine unevenness (fine grooves) of the skin, does not make the adhered portion conspicuous, can easily follow the movement of the skin, hardly causes irritation, can protect the skin from cosmetics and ultraviolet rays, and cosmetics can be applied in the adhered state. Conforming to the fine unevenness of the skin means that the adhesive material enters the fine unevenness of the skin including skin grooves and exhibits the same appearance as the skin.
[0074] The first adhesive material 10 having the above layer structure may hardly cause sweat to accumulate or stuffiness and cause irritation or itching. When applying cosmetics, when a liquid such as water is applied from the back surface of the base material layer 10b, the base material layer 10b becomes soft, is more easily conformable to the skin surface, and the adhesion of the cosmetics becomes good.
[0075] As described above, the configuration example of the first adhesive material 10 has been shown, but the second adhesive material 20 may also have the same configuration as described above. The first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 may have the same layer structure and may have the same thickness. The first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 may have different layer structures and may have different thicknesses. Both the first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 may have the layer structure described in detail above, or either one of them may have the layer structure described in detail above. It is preferable that both the first adhesive material 10 and the second adhesive material 20 have the layer structure described in detail above.
