[0016] In order to make the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the present application clearer, the following describes the embodiments of the present application in more detail with reference to the drawings.
[0017] Before introducing and explaining the embodiments of the present application, some terms related to the present application will first be explained and clarified.
[0018] 1. Superconducting quantum chip: The CPU of a superconducting quantum computer. A quantum computer is a device that performs calculations using the principles of quantum mechanics. Based on the superposition and entanglement of quantum mechanics, quantum computers have relatively strong parallel processing capabilities and can solve some computationally difficult problems for classical computers. Due to the zero-resistance characteristics of superconducting qubits and a manufacturing process similar to that of integrated circuits, quantum computing systems built using superconducting qubits are one of the systems currently expected to realize the most practical quantum computing.
[0019] 2. Coplanar Waveguide (CPW): It is composed of a central conductor (center conductor) on a substrate and coplanar ground layers on both sides. It is a microwave planar transmission line with excellent performance and easy processing, and is used to transmit microwave signals. Coplanar waveguide technology is widely used in superconducting quantum chips.
[0020] 3. Air bridge: A circuit structure that uses a three-dimensional bridge structure to bridge planar circuits, making the grounds on both sides of the central conductor at the same potential and suppressing the excitation of parasitic modes. It is suitable for a variety of chips, especially flip chips and superconducting quantum chips. Since the medium between the bridge and the circuit is air or vacuum, it is called an air bridge or vacuum bridge, and is also commonly abbreviated to air bridge.
[0021] 4. Automatic routing: The use of software to automatically place lines in circuit and chip designs, and connect elements to each other according to rules and requirements. It is often used in the design of large-scale and ultra-large-scale integrated circuits, and is part of that process, usually performed after the layout is completed.
[0022] 5. Layout: Also called circuit layout, it is a design drawing that describes how elements in a circuit are laid out, arranged, and connected, and is a description of the planar geometry of the actual circuit's physical situation. The layout design adheres to constraints such as manufacturing process, timing, area, and power consumption. The layout design file contains information such as the shape, area, and position of each hardware unit on the chip.
[0023] 6. Skeleton Wire: Used in this application to describe the center wire of the CPW center conductor.
[0024] The asymmetry, discontinuity, and curvature of CPW in superconducting quantum chips will generate parasitic modes in the circuit and affect the line transmission characteristics. Figure 1 shows a schematic diagram of some of the above situations, where the two wide parallel black lines are CPW gaps (or gaps for short). The curvature of CPW refers to the CPW being curved and not arranged along a straight line, as shown in Figure 1(a), the CPW is curved, and the CPW 110 part is perpendicular to the CPW 120 part. The discontinuity of CPW refers to the end of the CPW being disconnected and cut, as shown in Figure 1(b), the CPW 130 and the CPW 140 are not connected. The asymmetry of CPW refers to the ground planes on both sides of the CPW being asymmetric, as shown in Figure 1(c), the ground plane 150 and the ground plane 160 are asymmetric. The most commonly used method to suppress parasitic modes in CPW is to place an air bridge along the CPW.
[0025] In the related art, when a user uses a layout design tool to design a chip layout, the user must first input a CPW skeleton line, and then use an air bridge placement function to have the layout design tool realize air bridge placement of the chip layout based on the position information of the CPW skeleton line input by the user. This air bridge placement method of the chip layout cannot process a chip layout that does not include a preset skeleton line.
[0026] In view of the above, the present application provides a method for placing air bridges in a chip layout, which does not require a user to input CPW skeleton lines, and can realize automatic identification of CPW skeleton lines and automatic placement of air bridges based only on the chip layout, thereby realizing high-level automation of air bridge placement in a chip layout and applicable to more usage scenarios.
[0027] Referring to FIG. 2, a flowchart of an air bridge placement method for a chip layout according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The method may be executed by a computer device, which may be any electronic device with computing and storage capabilities, such as a PC (Personal Computer), a tablet computer, a server, etc. Exemplarily, a computer program for executing the method may be executed on the computer device, which realizes the air bridge placement method for a chip layout provided in this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 2, the method may include at least one of the following steps 210 to 230.
[0028] In step 210, a CPW point set corresponding to a chip layout is obtained, where the CPW point set includes position information of n points for defining a CPW arranged on the chip layout, where n is an integer greater than 1.
[0029] A chip layout is a design drawing that describes how elements in a circuit are laid out, arranged, and connected, and is a description of the planar geometry of the actual circuit physical situation. The chip layout may be a chip layout of a quantum chip, such as a chip layout of a superconducting quantum chip. A large amount of coplanar waveguide technology is used in a superconducting quantum chip to transmit microwave signals. The chip layout may be a chip layout of other chips, such as a chip layout of a memory chip, a chip layout of a digital multimedia chip, etc. This application does not limit the chip type that corresponds to the chip layout.
[0030] The layout design file of the chip layout includes information such as the shape, area, and position of each hardware unit on the chip. By automatic wiring, wiring information connecting each point can be added to the layout design file, and a layout design file including the wiring information can finally be generated. The above wiring information may include a CPW point set for defining position information of multiple points of the CPW to be placed in the chip layout.
[0031] A center conductor is created on one side of a dielectric substrate, and ground planes are created on both sides adjacent to the center conductor, thus constructing a CPW, also known as a coplanar microstrip transmission line. A CPW contains two parallel gaps with a certain width. In the chip layout, the grooves (i.e., gaps) between the center conductor and the ground planes on both sides are usually drawn. Generally, the distance between the center conductor and the ground planes on both sides is the same, which means that the width of the two gaps drawn in the chip layout is the same.
[0032] As shown in Fig. 3, one side of a dielectric substrate 310 has one central conductor 320 and ground planes 330 on both sides of the central conductor 320, and the central conductor 320, two gaps (grooves) 340 between the central conductor 320 and the ground planes 330 on both sides, and the ground planes 330 on both sides constitute a CPW. That is, the CPW in this application can be broadly understood as including a conductor (the central conductor and the ground planes on both sides) and two gaps, and the other can be narrowly understood as including only two gaps. In the following examples, the following CPW point sets can also be narrowly understood as point sets for the two gaps.
[0033] The CPW point set includes position information of n points for defining a CPW arranged in a chip layout. The n points are obtained by sampling along the CPW, so that a CPW line can be drawn using the position information of the n points. Optionally, the position information of the n points of the CPW can be obtained by sampling at equal distances along the CPW. For example, the position information of the n points of the CPW can be obtained by sampling at equal distances of 1 micron along the CPW. Optionally, the position information of the n points of the CPW can be obtained by non-equidistant sampling along the CPW. Here, the sampling distance of the straight line portion of the CPW can be greater than the sampling distance of the arc line portion. For example, the straight line portion of the CPW can be sampled at a distance of 2 microns, and the arc line portion can be sampled at a distance of 1 micron to obtain the position information of the n points of the CPW.
[0034] In some embodiments, the position information of the n points of the CPW can be expressed in the form of coordinates. For example, a two-dimensional coordinate system is constructed with the center of the chip layout as the origin, and the position information of the n points of the CPW is expressed in the form of two-dimensional coordinates (x, y).
[0035] In some embodiments, the points in the CPW point set are located at the edges of wide gaps. A gap edge refers to a boundary of a wide gap. Illustratively, as shown in FIG. 4, a CPW includes two parallel gaps 420, and the small black dots in the figure are points 410 in the CPW point set that are located on either edge of the wide gap 420.
[0036] In some embodiments, a point in the CPW point set is located on the centerline of a wide gap. A gap centerline refers to a line that marks the center of a wide gap, and the distance from any point on either edge of the gap to the centerline of the gap is the same. Exemplarily, as shown in FIG. 5, a CPW includes two parallel gaps 520, and the small black dot in the figure is a point 510 in the CPW point set that is located on the centerline of the wide gap 520.
[0037] In the embodiment of the present application, the location of the points in the CPW point set in the gaps is not limited, and the points may be located on the center line of each gap, on both edges of each gap, or anywhere else in the region in which each gap is located. Optionally, the location of the points is a location where the distance ratio to the edge lines on both sides of the gap is 1:2.
[0038] In step 220, a skeleton line of the CPW is determined based on the position information of the n points included in the CPW point set, where the skeleton line of the CPW refers to the center line of the central conductor of the CPW.
[0039] Based on the position information of the n points included in the CPW point set, the positions of the two parallel gaps included in the CPW can be determined, and further, the skeleton line of the CPW can be determined.
[0040] The centerlines of the two parallel gaps refer to lines marking the centers of the two parallel gaps, and the distance from any point on the centerline of each gap to the centerlines of the two parallel gaps is the same. Exemplarily, as shown in FIG. 6, the skeleton line 610 of the CPW refers to the centerline of the central conductor 600 of the CPW. Optionally, the skeleton line 610 of the CPW is the centerline of two parallel gaps 620 included in the CPW.
[0041] In step 230, air bridges are placed in the chip layout based on the skeleton of the CPW.
[0042] In some embodiments, the skeleton line of the CPW is used as the center line, and an air bridge is placed on the CPW to connect the ground planes on both sides of the CPW. Exemplarily, as shown in Figure 7, an air bridge 740 is placed on a chip layout 730 based on the skeleton line 720 of a CPW 710. The chip layout after the air bridge placement is completed is as shown in Figure 8, where 810 is the CPW and 820 is the air bridge.
[0043] In some embodiments, the air bridges are spaced equidistantly along the CPW skeleton in the chip layout. Illustratively, the CPW skeleton is the centerline and the air bridges are spaced equidistantly along the CPW. For example, the CPW skeleton is the centerline and one air bridge is spaced every 20 microns along the CPW.
[0044] In some embodiments, air bridges are placed at non-equidistant distances in the chip layout along the skeleton of the CPW. Illustratively, the skeleton of the CPW is taken as the centerline and air bridges are placed at random distances on the CPW. For example, the skeleton of the CPW is taken as the centerline and one air bridge is placed on the CPW every 20 microns, then another air bridge is placed on the CPW every 40 microns.
[0045] In some embodiments, air bridges may be placed on the straight segments of the CPW according to a first distance along the skeletal line of the CPW and on the arcuate line segments of the CPW according to a second distance, the first distance being greater than the second distance. For example, one air bridge may be placed on the straight segments of the CPW every 40 microns and one air bridge may be placed on the arcuate line segments of the CPW every 20 microns along the skeletal line of the CPW, where the straight segments of the CPW and the arcuate line segments of the CPW are determined by whether the gap is straight or curved. Optionally, if the gap is straight, the CPW is considered to be straight, and if the gap is arcuate, the CPW is considered to be arcuate.
[0046] The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application automatically determines the CPW skeleton line for a chip layout in which a CPW is arranged based on the position information of points included in a CPW point set corresponding to the chip layout, and then arranges air bridges in the chip layout based on the CPW skeleton line, eliminating the need to pre-set the position information of the CPW skeleton line, thereby achieving automatic identification of the CPW skeleton line and automatic arrangement of air bridges, and improving the efficiency of the air bridge arrangement method for chip layout.
[0047] 9, a flowchart of an air bridge placement method for a chip layout according to another embodiment of the present application is shown. The method may be performed by a computer device. The method may include at least one of the following steps 910 to 960.
[0048] In step 910, a CPW point set corresponding to a chip layout is obtained, where the CPW point set includes position information of n points for defining a CPW arranged on the chip layout, where n is an integer greater than 1.
[0049] Step 910 is the same as step 210 in the above embodiment, so it will not be repeated here.
[0050] In step 920, based on the position information of each point, the type of each point is respectively determined, where the type is one of a corner point, a line point, and an arc point.
[0051] For each point, the type of the point can be determined based on the position information of the point and the position information corresponding to at least two adjacent points. An adjacent point refers to a point adjacent to the point in the CPW point set, and optionally, the adjacent point is a point closest to the point in the CPW point set. For example, in FIG. 10(a), points B and C are two adjacent points of point A.
[0052] A straight line point is a point located on a straight line segment of the CPW, i.e., a point that forms a flat angle between the current point and two adjacent points (points B and C). As shown in Fig. 10(b), the angle between point A and the two adjacent points (points B and C) is 180 degrees, so point A is a straight line point.
[0053] A corner point refers to a point located at a corner of a CPW, that is, the current point is a non-linear point, but the two adjacent points of the current point are linear points. As shown in Figure 10(a), the included angle formed by the connection lines between point A and the two adjacent points (point B, point C) is not 180 degrees, but the included angle formed by the connection lines between point B and the two adjacent points (point A, point D) is 180 degrees, and the included angle formed by the connection lines between point C and the two adjacent points (point A, point E) is 180 degrees, so point A is a corner point.
[0054] An arc point refers to a point located on an arc line segment of a CPW, that is, the current point and the two adjacent points are both non-linear points. As shown in Fig. 10(c), the included angle formed by the connecting lines between point B and the two adjacent points (point A, point C) is obviously smaller than 180 degrees, the included angle formed by the connecting lines between point C and the two adjacent points (point B, point D) is also smaller than 180 degrees, and the included angle formed by the connecting lines between point D and the two adjacent points (point C, point E) is also smaller than 180 degrees, so point C is an arc point.
[0055] In step 930, based on the type and position information of each point, at least one set of CPW straight line segments and at least one set of CPW arc line segments are determined, where each set of CPW straight line segments corresponds to two parallel CPW straight line segments that are straight, and each set of CPW arc line segments corresponds to two parallel CPW arc line segments that are arc.
[0056] Illustratively, as shown in FIG. 11, two sets of CPW straight line segments 1110 and 1120 and one set of CPW arc segments 1130 are determined based on the type and location information of each point.
[0057] In some embodiments, based on the type and position information of each point, a line segment having multiple consecutive line points is determined as a straight line segment, an arc segment having multiple consecutive arc points is determined as an arc line segment, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the positions and parallel relationships of each straight line segment, and at least one set of CPW arc line segments is determined based on the positions and parallel relationships of each arc line segment.
[0058] Exemplarily, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the parallel relationship of each straight line segment and the distance between the parallel straight line segments, and at least one set of CPW arc line segments is determined based on the parallel relationship of each arc line segment and the distance between the parallel arc line segments (i.e., the difference between the radii corresponding to the parallel arc line segments) and the center positions of the parallel arc line segments (each arc line segment in a set of CPW arc line segments has the same center position).
[0059] In step 940, the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are determined, respectively.
[0060] In some embodiments, for each set of CPW straight line segments, the centerlines of the two parallel, straight CPW straight line segments corresponding to the set of CPW straight line segments are determined as the skeleton line segments of the set of CPW straight line segments, and for each set of CPW arc line segments, the centerlines of the two parallel, arcuate CPW arc line segments corresponding to the set of CPW arc line segments are determined as the skeleton line segments of the set of CPW arc line segments.
[0061] In step 950, the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are connected in order to obtain the skeleton line of the CPW.
[0062] In some embodiments, based on the order of each set of CPW straight line segments and each set of CPW arc line segments, the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are connected in order to obtain a skeleton line of the CPW.
[0063] In some embodiments, a connection order of the skeleton line segments is determined based on the parameter information of each CPW arc line segment, where the parameter information of the CPW arc line segment includes an arc parameter and a circle center parameter, the arc parameter is used to indicate the arrangement order of each point included in the CPW arc line segment, and the circle center parameter is used to indicate the circle center position corresponding to the CPW arc line segment. Based on the connection order, the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are connected in order to obtain a CPW skeleton line.
[0064] In some embodiments, in order to determine the connection order of the skeleton line segments, it is necessary to first determine the leading skeleton line segment. Optionally, the leading CPW arc line segment is determined based on the parameter information of each CPW arc line segment. In some embodiments, the arc parameters of the arc line segment include the arrangement order of each point, so that the starting point can be determined from there, and the leading CPW arc line segment is then determined. The connection order of the skeleton line segments is determined based on the leading CPW arc line segment and the arrangement order between each CPW arc line segment. The leading skeleton line segment refers to the starting point of the connection order of the skeleton line segments, and since the arrangement of CPWs in the chip layout is relatively complex and it is easy to misjudge the connection order of the skeleton line segments, it is necessary to determine the leading CPW arc line segment. The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application determines the leading CPW arc line segment based on the parameter information of the arc line segment, so that the determined CPW arc line segment is more accurate, which is more favorable for the connection of the subsequent skeleton line segments, thereby improving the accuracy of the air bridge arranged based on the skeleton line. In addition, in the embodiment of the present application, when determining skeleton line segments, skeleton line segments corresponding to each set of CPW straight line segments and each set of CPW arc line segments are determined based on the straight lines in each set of CPW straight line segments and the arc lines in each set of CPW arc line segments, respectively, thereby improving the accuracy of the determined skeleton line segments.
[0065] At step 960, at least one air bridge is placed along a skeleton line of the CPW in the chip layout based on the air bridge placement parameters.
[0066] In some embodiments, at least one air bridge is placed in the chip layout along a skeleton line of the CPW based on the air bridge placement parameters, and the air bridge placement parameters are used to define a size of the air bridge floor plate, a size of the pier, and a relative positional relationship between the floor plate and the pier. The air bridge floor plate refers to a conductor that spans the CPW and connects the ground planes on both sides of the CPW, and the air bridge pier refers to a conductor that connects the air bridge floor plate and the ground planes on both sides of the CPW, and the air bridge floor plate and the pier are made of different materials.
[0067] In some embodiments, the air bridge placement parameters include: deck width, pier width, pier length, deck-to-gap distance, and deck-to-pier distance. Deck width refers to the width of the deck portion spanning the CPW. Pier width refers to the length of the pier side parallel to the CPW. Pier length refers to the length of the pier side perpendicular to the CPW. Deck-to-gap distance refers to the distance between the side of the deck closest to the CPW and the edge of the approaching CPW. Deck-to-pier distance refers to the distance between the side of the deck closest to the pier and the side of the pier.
[0068] In some embodiments, placement parameters such as the width of the floor plate, the width of the pier, the length of the pier, the distance between the floor plate and the gap, and the distance between the floor plate and the pier of each air bridge are preset. Optionally, place air bridges at fixed intervals. Optionally, if the fixed interval is 3 cm and the skeleton line is 20 cm long, place one air bridge every 3 cm on the 20 cm skeleton line.
[0069] The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application is to preset the placement parameters and place at least one air bridge along the skeleton line of the CPW, so that the placed air bridge can meet the needs of users, and improve the flexibility and accuracy of air bridge placement.
[0070] Meanwhile, the placement parameters include the width of the deck, the width of the pier, the length of the pier, the distance between the deck and the CPW gap, and the distance between the deck and the pier, which are relatively comprehensive, so that the accuracy of the placed air bridge can be increased.
[0071] For example, as shown in FIG. 12 , the air bridge includes two parts: a pier 1220 and a floor plate 1210, and the layout parameters of the air bridge include a width 1240 of the floor plate 1210, a width 1250 of the pier 1220, a length 1260 of the pier 1220, a distance 1270 between the floor plate 1210 and the gap 1230, and a distance 1280 between the floor plate 1210 and the pier 1220.
[0072] Optionally, the placement parameters of the air bridge may be user defined or automatically generated, and are not limited in this application.
[0073] Illustratively, a user can customize the configuration parameters of the airbridge through a protobuf protocol.
[0074] For example, the user can use the following program to customize the placement parameters of the air bridge.
[0075] Message Airbridge { Message Airbridge_FixedProperty{ Double bridgeWidth=1; / / the width of middle bridge (defines the width of the floorboards) Double bridgePierCocoon=2; / / the different size that between the Pier and the Bridge (defines the distance between the deck and the pier) } Message Pier Double pierWidth=1; / / pier width (defines the width of the pier) Double pierLength=2; / / pier Length (defines the length of the pier) } Message Bridge Double bridgeCPWCocoon=1; / / the length of middle bridge(defines the distance between the floor plate and the gap) } Airbridge_FixedProperty airbridge_fixedproperty=1; (Define the set of floorboard related attributes, and the internal attributes are as shown in message Airbridge_FixedProperty) Pier pier=2; (Define the set of related attributes for the pier, and the internal attributes are as shown in message Pier) Bridge bridge=3; (defines the attribute set of the positional relationship between the air bridge and the CPW, and the internal attributes are as shown in message bridge) } It should be noted that the size relationship between the air bridge floor plate and the pier is not limited in this application. In one example, the size of the air bridge floor plate 750 is smaller than the size of the pier 760, as shown in FIG. 7. In another example, the size of the air bridge floor plate 1210 is larger than the size of the pier 1220, as shown in FIG. 12.
[0076] The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application classifies the points in the CPW point set, and determines at least one set of CPW straight line segments and at least one set of CPW arc line segments according to the type and position information of each point, respectively determines the skeleton lines of each set of CPW straight line segments and each set of CPW arc line segments, and then sequentially connects the skeleton lines of each set of CPW straight line segments and each set of CPW arc line segments to obtain the skeleton line of the CPW. By respectively determining the skeleton lines of the straight line segments and the arc line segments and then sequentially connecting them, it is possible to avoid errors in determining the skeleton line when the wiring of the CPW is complicated, and improve the accuracy of automatic identification of the skeleton line.
[0077] 13, a flowchart of a method for determining skeleton line segments of a CPW according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The method may include at least one of the following steps 1310 to 1360.
[0078] In step 1310, based on the position information of each point, the type of each point is respectively determined, and the type is one of a corner point, a line point, and an arc point.
[0079] In step 1320, based on the type and position information of each point, a line segment having multiple consecutive line points is determined as a line segment, and an arc segment having multiple consecutive arc points is determined as an arc segment.
[0080] In step 1330, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the position and parallelism of each straight line segment, and at least one set of CPW arc line segments is determined based on the position and parallelism of each arc line segment.
[0081] In some embodiments, the points in the CPW point set lie on the edges of wide gaps.
[0082] Each set of CPW straight segments includes four straight segments that are parallel to one another, with two of the four straight segments located at two edges of one gap and two of the four straight segments located at two edges of another gap.
[0083] The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application determines a number of straight line segments and a number of arc line segments based on the CPW point set according to point type and position information, and further determines a set of CPW straight line segments and a set of CPW arc line segments that belong to the same gap. Therefore, the embodiment of the present application ensures the flexibility of determining the straight line segments and arc line segments, while also improving the accuracy of the determined CPW lines.
[0084] In addition, considering the different distribution situations of points in the point set on the gap (the edge of the gap and the centerline of the gap), two different methods are used to determine each set of CPW straight line segments and CPW arc line segments respectively. Therefore, the present application provides different methods of determining line segments for different sampling methods, making the determination of line segments more comprehensive and relatively flexible.
[0085] Each set of CPW archwire segments includes four parallel and coaxial archwire segments, two of which are located at the two edges of one gap and another two of which are located at the two edges of another gap.
[0086] Exemplarily, as shown in FIG. 14, for two sets of CPW straight line segments 1410, each set of CPW straight line segments includes four straight line segments parallel to each other, and each set of CPW gaps is configured. For one set of CPW arc segments 1420, each set of CPW arc segments includes four arc segments parallel to each other and with the same circular center, and each set of CPW gaps is configured. Exemplarily, as shown in FIG. 15, for two sets of CPW straight line segments 1510, each set of CPW straight line segments includes four straight line segments parallel to each other, and each set of CPW gaps is configured. For one set of CPW arc segments 1520, each set of CPW arc segments includes four arc segments parallel to each other and with the same circular center, and each set of CPW gaps is configured. Optionally, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the distance and parallel relationship between each of the straight line segments. Illustratively, at least one pair of straight line segments is determined based on the distance relationship between each parallel straight line segment, and each pair of straight line segments includes two straight line segments, and the two straight line segments belong to the same gap. The two straight line segments in each pair of straight line segments are parallel, and the distance between the two straight line segments in each pair of straight line segments is the same. Then, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the distance between the center lines of each pair of parallel straight line segments, and the center line of each pair of straight line segments refers to the center line of the gap to which the pair of straight line segments belongs. For example, based on the distance relationship between each parallel straight line segment, four pairs of straight line segments (pair 1, pair 2, pair 3, and pair 4) corresponding to four gaps (line 1, line 2, line 3, and line 4) are determined, and the two straight line segments in each pair are all parallel, and the distance between the two straight line segments in pair 1, pair 2, pair 3, and pair 4 (i.e., the widths of line 1, line 2, line 3, and line 4) are all 5 microns, and line 1, line 2, line 3, and line 4 are all parallel, but the distance between the center lines of line 1 and line 2 is 15 microns, and the distance between the center lines of line 3 and line 4 is 15 microns, whereas the distance between the center lines of line 1 and line 3 is 15 microns, and the distance between the center lines of line 2 and line 4 is 345 microns, therefore, the straight line segments in pair 1 and pair 2 are determined as a set of CPW straight line segments, and the straight line segments in pair 3 and pair 4 are determined as a set of CPW straight line segments. It should be noted that in the embodiments of the present application, the ratio of the width of the CPW gap to the center conductor is only taken as an example to be 1:2:1, and when the electromagnetic environment is different, the ratio of the width of the CPW gap to the center conductor will also change according to the impedance requirements.
[0087] In some embodiments, at least one set of CPW arc wire segments is determined based on the distance and parallel relationship between each of the parallel arc wire segments and the circular center position of each of the arc wire segments. Illustratively, at least one pair of arc wire segments is determined based on the distance relationship between each of the parallel arc wire segments, and each pair of arc wire segments includes two arc wire segments, and the two arc wire segments belong to the same gap. The two arc wire segments of each pair of arc wire segments are both parallel, and the distance between the two arc wire segments of each pair of arc wire segments is the same. Then, at least one set of CPW arc wire segments is determined based on the distance between the center lines of each pair of parallel arc wire segments and the circular center position. For example, based on the distance relationship between each parallel arcwire segment, determine four pairs of arcwire segments (pair 1, pair 2, pair 3, and pair 4) corresponding to four gaps (arc 1, arc 2, arc 3, and arc 4), respectively, and the two arcwire segments in each pair are all parallel, the distance between the two arcwire segments in pair 1, pair 2, pair 3, and pair 4 (i.e., the widths of arc 1, arc 2, arc 3, and arc 4) are all 5 microns, the center positions of the centerlines of arc 1, arc 2, arc 3, and arc 4 are also the same, arc 1 and arc 2 are parallel, arc 3 and arc 4 are parallel, the distance between the centerlines of arc 1 and arc 2 is equal to the distance between the centerlines of arc 3 and arc 4, which are all 15 microns; in this case, determine the arcwire segments in pair 1 and pair 2 as a set of CPW arcwire segments, and determine the arcwire segments in pair 3 and pair 4 as a set of CPW arcwire segments.
[0088] In some embodiments, the points in the CPW point set lie on the centerline of a wide gap.
[0089] Each set of CPW straight segments includes two straight segments parallel to each other, one of the two straight segments located on the centerline of one gap and the other of the two straight segments located on the centerline of another gap.
[0090] Each set of CPW archwire segments includes two parallel and coaxial archwire segments, one of which is located on the centerline of one gap and the other of which is located on the centerline of another gap.
[0091] In some embodiments, at least one set of CPW straight segments is determined based on the distance and parallel relationship between each straight segment. Exemplarily, at least one set of CPW straight segments is determined based on the distance relationship between each parallel straight segment. For example, if four straight segments (straight 1, straight 2, straight 3, and straight 4) are parallel to each other, and the distance between straight 1 and straight 2 is 5 microns, and the distance between straight 3 and straight 4 is also 5 microns, but the distance between straight 1 and straight 3 is 15 microns, and the distance between straight 2 and straight 4 is 25 microns, then straight 1 and straight 2 are determined as a set of CPW straight segments, and straight 3 and straight 4 are determined as a set of CPW straight segments.
[0092] In some embodiments, at least one set of CPW straight line segments is determined based on the distance and parallel relationship between each arc segment and the center position of each arc segment. Exemplarily, at least one set of CPW arc segments is determined based on the distance relationship and center position between each parallel arc segment. For example, if four arc segments (arc 1, arc 2, arc 3, and arc 4) are parallel to each other, the center positions of arc 1 and arc 2 are the same, the center positions of arc 3 and arc 4 are the same, and the center positions of arc 1 and arc 3 are different, arc 1 and arc 2 are determined as a set of CPW arc segments, and arc 3 and arc 4 are determined as a set of CPW arc segments.
[0093] It should be noted that straight line segments that cannot be classified into any of the sets of CPW straight line segments and arc line segments that cannot be classified into any of the sets of CPW arc line segments are not considered, i.e., excluded, when determining the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments.
[0094] In step 1340, the skeleton line segments for each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments for each set of CPW arc line segments are determined, respectively.
[0095] In some embodiments, the skeleton line segments of the CPW straight line segments are determined based on the position information of the points of each set of CPW straight line segments. For example, take a set of CPW straight line segments as an example, which includes four parallel CPW straight line segments, and draw two straight lines perpendicular to any two positions of one straight line segment, and the intersections of the two straight lines and the four straight line segments form two point set sets. For each point in each point set set, the average value of its abscissa is taken as the abscissa, and the average value of its ordinate is taken as the ordinate, to obtain one new coordinate point, and the connecting line of the two new coordinate points is the line where the skeleton line segments of the CPW straight line segments are located. For example, draw a straight line perpendicular to the CPW straight line segment at the start of one straight line segment, and the intersections of the straight line and the four straight line segments form a first point set set including {(x1,y1), (x2,y2), (x3,y3), (x4,y4)}. At the end of each straight line segment, a straight line perpendicular to the straight line segment is drawn, and the intersections of the straight lines with the four straight line segments form a second point set including {(x5,y5), (x6,y6), (x7,y7), (x8,y8)}. For example, for the first point set, (x1+x2+x3+x4) / 4 is the abscissa and (y1+y2+y3+y4) / 4 is the ordinate, and point A ((x1+x2+x3+x4) / 4, (y1+y2+y3+y4) / 4) is obtained. For the second point set, (x5+x6+x7+x8) / 4 is the abscissa and (y5+y6+y7+y8) / 4 is the ordinate, and point B ((x5+x6+x7+x8) / 4, (y5+y6+y7+y8) / 4) is obtained. The line segment consisting of points A and B is the skeleton line segment of the CPW straight line segment.
[0096] In some embodiments, determine skeleton line segments for each set of CPW arcline segments based on the parameter information of each set of CPW arcline segments. Optionally, the arc parameters of the CPW arcline segments may include an arrangement sequence of points of the CPW arcline segments and an angle of a circle center angle of the CPW arcline segments, and the circle center parameters of the CPW arcline segments may include a circle center position corresponding to the CPW arcline segments and a radius length corresponding to the CPW arcline segments.
[0097] Exemplarily, determine the skeleton line segment of each set of CPW arc segments according to the radius length and the circle center position corresponding to each set of CPW arc segments. For example, take a set of CPW arc segments as an example, it includes four arc segments, the average value of the radii corresponding to each of the four arc segments is the radius of the skeleton line segment, the circle center position of the four arc segments is the circle center, and the arc segments parallel to each other among the constructed four arc segments are the skeleton line segments of the CPW arc segments. For example, if the radii of the four arc segments are r1, r2, r3, r4 respectively, r1, r2, r3, r4 are positive numbers, and the corresponding circle center position is point O(x,y), the arc segments parallel to each other among the constructed four arc segments are the skeleton line segments of the CPW arc segments, with point O(x,y) being the circle center and (r1+r2+r3+r4) / 4 being the radius, that is, the skeleton line segment of the CPW arc segments.
[0098] In some embodiments, the skeleton line segment of the CPW straight line segment is determined based on the position information of the points of each set of CPW straight line segments. Exemplarily, take a set of CPW straight line segments as an example, which includes two parallel straight line segments, and draw two straight lines perpendicular to the straight line segments at any two positions of each straight line segment, and the intersections of the two straight lines and the two straight line segments form two point set sets. For each point in each point set set, the average value of its abscissa is taken as the abscissa, and the average value of its ordinate is taken as the ordinate, to obtain one new coordinate point, and the connecting line of the two new coordinate points is the line where the skeleton line segment of the CPW straight line segment is located. For example, draw a straight line perpendicular to the straight line segment at the beginning of each straight line segment, and the intersections of the straight line and the two straight line segments form a first point set set including {(x1, y1), (x2, y2)}. At the end of each straight line segment, a straight line perpendicular to the straight line segment is drawn, and the intersections of the straight lines and the two straight line segments form a second point set including {(x3,y3), (x4,y4)}. For example, for the first point set, (x1+x2) / 2 is the abscissa and (y1+y2) / 2 is the ordinate, and point A((x1+x2) / 2,(y1+y2) / 2) is obtained. For the second point set, (x3+x4) / 2 is the abscissa and (y3+y4) / 2 is the ordinate, and point A((x3+x4) / 2,(y3+y4) / 2) is obtained. The line segment consisting of points A and B is the skeleton line segment of the CPW straight line segment.
[0099] In some embodiments, the skeleton line segment of each set of CPW arc segments is determined based on the parameter information of each set of CPW arc segments. Exemplarily, the skeleton line segment of each set of CPW arc segments is determined based on the radius length and the circle center position corresponding to each set of CPW arc segments. For example, take a set of CPW arc segments as an example, it includes two arc segments, the average value of the radii corresponding to the two arc segments is the radius of the skeleton line segment, the circle center position of the two arc segments is the circle center, and the arc segment parallel to the two constructed arc segments is the skeleton line segment of the CPW arc segment. For example, if the radii of the two arc segments are r1 and r2 respectively, and the corresponding circle center position is point O(x,y), the arc segment parallel to the four constructed arc segments is the point O(x,y) with the circle center and the radius (r1+r2) / 2, that is, the skeleton line segment of the CPW arc segment.
[0100] It should be noted that the method for determining the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the method for determining the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are not limited by this application, and the above description is merely an exemplary description.
[0101] In step 1350, a connection order of skeleton line segments is determined based on the parameter information of each CPW arc segment, where the parameter information of the CPW arc segment includes an arc parameter and a circle center parameter, the arc parameter is used to indicate the arrangement order of each point included in the CPW arc segment, and the circle center parameter is used to indicate the circle center position corresponding to the CPW arc segment.
[0102] In some embodiments, the connection order of the skeleton line segments is determined based on the leading CPW skeleton line segment and the order of the skeleton line segments of each CPW. Optionally, the order of the skeleton line segments of each CPW may be determined based on the order of the points in the CPW point set. The method of determining the leading CPW skeleton line segment is not limited by the present application.
[0103] In some embodiments, a leading CPW arc segment is determined based on parameter information of each CPW arc segment, and a connection order of skeleton line segments is determined based on the leading CPW arc segment and the arrangement order of each CPW arc segment.
[0104] Specifically, the leading CPW arc segment can be determined based on the arrangement order of each point of the CPW arc segment and the center position of the CPW arc segment.
[0105] In some embodiments, from each CPW arcwire segment, three consecutive CPW arcwire segments are determined, the three consecutive CPW arcwire segments include a first CPW arcwire segment, a second CPW arcwire segment, and a third CPW arcwire segment arranged in sequence, and the second CPW arcwire segment is determined as a leading CPW arcwire segment if the second CPW arcwire segment satisfies a condition, where the condition includes that the arrangement order of the points included in the second CPW arcwire segment is the reverse of the arrangement order of the points included in the first CPW arcwire segment, the arrangement order of the points included in the second CPW arcwire segment is the same as the arrangement order of the points included in the third CPW arcwire segment, the first CPW arcwire segment and the second CPW arcwire segment are parallel to each other and have the same center position, the first CPW arcwire segment and the second CPW arcwire segment are located in two different gaps, and the third CPW arcwire segment and the second CPW arcwire segment are located in the same gap.
[0106] 16, for example, from each CPW arc segment, three consecutive CPW arc segments are determined, including a first CPW arc segment (arc 1), a second CPW arc segment (arc 2), and a third CPW arc segment (arc 3) arranged in sequence, where the arrangement order of each point included in arc 1, arc 2, and arc 3 is as shown by the arrows. As can be seen, the arrangement order of each point in arc 1 is the opposite of the arrangement order of each point in arc 2, the arrangement order of each point in arc 2 is the same as the arrangement order of each point in arc 3, the center positions of arc 1 and arc 2 are the same, but the center position of arc 3 is different from the center positions of arc 1 and arc 2, arc 1 and arc 2 are respectively located in two different gaps, and arc 2 and arc 3 are located in the same gap, so arc 2 is the leading CPW arc segment.
[0107] It should be noted that for the corner CPW arcline segment shown in 1610 in Fig. 16, the circle center positions corresponding to the CPW arcline segments on the two gaps are not the same, so when grouping the CPW arcline segments, such arcline segment is not considered, i.e., each set of CPW arcline segments does not include the corner CPW arcline segment shown in 1610 in Fig. 16. When determining the leading CPW arcline segment, such arcline segment is also not considered, i.e., the above three consecutive CPW arcline segments do not include the corner CPW arcline segment shown in 1610 in Fig. 16, but are the three consecutive CPW arcline segments after the CPW arcline segments in each set of CPW arcline segments are sequentially arranged. The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application is advantageous in determining the leading CPW arcline segment from the three CPW arcline segments based on the arrangement order of points in any three consecutive CPW arcline segments, and ensuring the accuracy of the determined leading CPW arcline segment.
[0108] In some embodiments, the skeleton line segment corresponding to the CPW arc line segment of the set in which the leading CPW arc line segment is located is used as the starting point, and the connection order of the skeleton line segments is determined according to the arrangement order of the CPW arc line segments and the CPW straight line segments.
[0109] For example, as shown in FIG. 16, the skeleton line segment corresponding to the CPW arc line segment of the set in which the first CPW arc line segment (arc 2) is located is used as the starting point, and the connection order of the skeleton line segments is determined according to the arrangement order of arc 2, line 1, arc 3, line 2, and arc 4.
[0110] In step 1360, based on the connection order, the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW straight line segments and the skeleton line segments of each set of CPW arc line segments are connected in order to obtain the skeleton line of the CPW.
[0111] The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application determines the connection order of skeleton line segments according to the parameter information of CPW arc line segments, thereby avoiding air bridge placement errors caused by incorrect connections of CPW skeleton lines due to the complexity of CPW wiring, and improving the accuracy of air bridge placement in chip layout.
[0112] Referring to FIG. 17, a block diagram of a method for placing air bridges in a chip layout according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The method may be implemented by a computer device. As shown in 1700 of FIG. 17, first extract a CPW point set for the chip layout, then classify the points in the point set, and respectively extract arc parameters and circle center parameters based on different types of points. Then, sort based on the arc parameters, and place air bridges based on the extracted wiring parameters, and finally obtain a chip layout with air bridges. Referring to FIG. 18, a schematic diagram of a method for determining arc parameters and circle center parameters according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. After classifying the points in the point set, extract corresponding arc parameters according to consecutive points, and then extract corresponding circle center parameters according to the arc parameters, thereby completing the conversion from points to arcs and then to circle centers. Optionally, sub-figure a of FIG. 18 shows points in a point set, sub-figure b of FIG. 18 shows determining arcs based on multiple points, and sub-figure c of FIG. 18 shows determining circle centers based on arcs. Referring to Figure 19, a schematic diagram of an air bridge placement method for a chip layout according to one embodiment of the present application is shown. Sub-figure a of Figure 19 shows placing air bridges on an arc, and sub-figure b of Figure 19 shows placing air bridges on a straight line.
