Abstract

The objective is to provide a cable and an electronic device. [Solution] The present disclosure relates to a cable with a plug / unplug detection function and an electronic device corresponding thereto. The cable includes a first interface, a second interface, a sensor, and a processing circuit. The sensor is used to detect whether the first interface and / or the second interface is plugged into the interface of the device and generate an analog detection signal, and the processing circuit is used to convert the analog detection signal output from the sensor from analog to digital and generate a digital detection signal. The cable may further include a power line connecting the processing circuit to a power supply terminal of the interface of the main device and for the processing circuit to be powered from the interface of the main device, or a rechargeable battery connected to the power line and charged through the power line. The cable disclosed herein has a simple structure and low cost, and can easily realize plug / unplug detection of the cable without the need to redesign or improve the interface of the electronic device.
