Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic preparation. [Background technology]

[0002] Cleansing cosmetics are used as face washes for the purpose of removing sebum stains and oil-based cosmetics from the skin. Cleansing cosmetics include oil-based cleansing cosmetics, aqueous cleansing cosmetics, water-in-oil cleansing cosmetics, and oil-in-water cleansing cosmetics.

[0003] Oil-based cleansing cosmetics are accepted by many customers because they put less strain on the skin when cleansing. Oil-based cleansing cosmetics are excellent in makeup compatibility and are excellent in washability, but they may leave a strong feeling of residual oil after washing. In addition, if a residual oil feeling remains, it is necessary to wash again with a facial cleanser to remove the residual oil feeling, and excessive degreasing of the skin may cause rough skin, etc.

[0004] Aqueous cleansing cosmetics do not contain oily components or contain only a small amount of oily components, so they have a refreshing feel when used. However, aqueous cleansing cosmetics are inferior to oil-based cleansing cosmetics in terms of makeup compatibility. For example, it is difficult to wash off high-melting-point waxes and solid fats in cosmetics with aqueous cleansing cosmetics. Therefore, it has been pointed out that it is necessary to use oil-based cleansing cosmetics to remove oily mascaras such as waterproof mascaras (Non-Patent Document 1).

[0005] Water-in-oil and oil-in-water cleansing cosmetics combine the oily and aqueous components in a well-balanced way to provide both the makeup blendability provided by the oil layer and the refreshing feeling provided by the aqueous layer. However, these products inevitably have strong properties derived from the continuous layer, which is the main component, and water-in-oil (W / O) cleansing cosmetics have a residual oily feel, while oil-in-water (O / W) cleansing cosmetics are inferior in makeup blendability. In addition, these products may separate into two layers due to temperature changes or long-term standing. Furthermore, these cleansing cosmetics are emulsified and cloudy, but there is a demand for them to have a transparent appearance. [Prior art documents] [Non-patent literature]

In addition, the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention has excellent washability and provides a refreshing feeling when used. The oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention has excellent stability and is not easily separated into two layers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] The oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention comprises: (A) Polyglycerol fatty acid ester (B) Polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether (C) Polymer emulsifier (D) Glycerin Contains The oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic contains 25 to 60 parts by mass of (D) glycerin per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic.

[0011] (A) Polyglycerol fatty acid ester In the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic composition of the present invention, the polyglycerol fatty acid ester mainly contributes to the cleansing properties. Polyglycerol fatty acid ester is a compound in which polyglycerol and fatty acid are ester-bonded. Polyglycerol preferably has an average polymerization degree of 15 to 30, since it has low cytotoxicity and is very low irritant to skin and eyes. The average polymerization degree of polyglycerol is more preferably 16 to 28, and even more preferably 18 to 24.

[0012] The method for calculating the average degree of polymerization of polyglycerol is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a method of calculation from a hydroxyl value, a method of determining the composition of polyglycerol by gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, thin layer chromatography, gas chromatography mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, etc., and a method of calculating the average degree of polymerization. For example, it can be determined from the hydroxyl value based on the following formula, but is not limited to this calculation method. OHV = 56110(n+2) / (74n+18) OHV: Hydroxyl value of polyglycerol n: average degree of polymerization of polyglycerol

[0013] In the polyglycerol fatty acid ester used in the present invention, the fatty acid may be one or more of caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, isostearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, etc. Among these, it is preferable to use caprylic acid and capric acid in combination. When caprylic acid and capric acid are used as the fatty acid, the ratio of caprylic acid to capric acid is preferably within the range of 5:95 to 90:10 by mass ratio, more preferably within the range of 10:90 to 50:50.

[0014] Examples of such polyglycerol fatty acid esters include polyglyceryl-20 hexa(caprylic acid / capric acid) (HLB 11.4), polyglyceryl-20 penta(caprylic acid / capric acid) (HLB 12.2), polyglyceryl-20 tetra(caprylic acid / capric acid) (HLB 13.1), polyglyceryl-20 octaisononanoate, polyglyceryl-20 hexaisononanoate, polyglyceryl-20 heptaisononanoate, polyglyceryl-20 hexacaprylate, polyglyceryl-20 octacaprylate, polyglyceryl-20 decacaprylate, polyglyceryl-20 pentadecacaprylate, polyglyceryl-20 hexacaprate, polyglyceryl-20 octacaprate, polyglyceryl-10 diisostearate, isostearic acid Examples of the polyglyceryl-10 include polyglyceryl-10 triisostearate, polyglyceryl-2 isostearate, polyglyceryl-2 diisostearate, polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, polyglyceryl-2 tetraisostearate, polyglyceryl-10 caprate, polyglyceryl-5 laurate, polyglyceryl-2 caprate, polyglyceryl-6 caprylate, polyglyceryl-10 caprylate, polyglyceryl-2 caprylate, etc. Among these, it is preferable to include at least one of hexa(caprylic acid / capric acid)polyglyceryl-20, penta(caprylic acid / capric acid)polyglyceryl-20, and tetra(caprylic acid / capric acid)polyglyceryl-20.

[0015] The polyglycerol fatty acid ester of the present invention preferably contains one or more polyglycerol fatty acid esters having an HLB value of 11 to 14, and more preferably contains one or more polyglycerol fatty acid esters having an HLB value of 12 to 13. The HLB value can be adjusted by the degree of esterification. For example, when 4 to 7 moles of fatty acid are ester-bonded to 1 mole of polyglycerol having an average degree of polymerization of 20, a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having an HLB value in the range of about 11 to 14 is obtained.

[0016] The polyglycerol fatty acid ester used in the present invention can be produced, for example, by esterifying polyglycerol with a fatty acid by a conventional method. That is, the polyglycerol and the fatty acid are esterified by heating them in the presence of an acid catalyst (phosphoric acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, etc.) or an alkali catalyst (caustic soda, etc.), or without a catalyst, preferably at 100 to 300°C, more preferably at 120 to 260°C, while removing water. The reaction may also be carried out in the presence of an inert gas. The polyglycerol fatty acid ester thus obtained may be purified according to the purpose. In addition to techniques such as molecular distillation under reduced pressure, extraction with an organic solvent, fractionation, and chromatographic separation using a column filled with a synthetic adsorbent or gel filtration agent can also be used for purification. The polyglycerol fatty acid ester used in the present invention can also be obtained by transesterifying polyglycerol with an ester of a fatty acid. The polyglycerol fatty acid ester (A) used in the present invention is preferably contained in an amount of 2 to 10 parts by mass, and more preferably 3 to 8 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic.

[0017] (B) Polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether In the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic composition of the present invention, the polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether mainly works in cooperation with the polyglycerol fatty acid ester to improve the cleansing properties. Polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether is a compound in which glycerin and polyoxyalkylene glycol are ether-bonded. The oxyalkylene unit preferably has 2 to 4 carbon atoms, more preferably an ethylene oxide unit or a propylene oxide unit. A polyoxyethylene unit is preferable. The number of repetitions of the oxyalkylene unit is preferably 2 to 40, more preferably 10 to 35, and even more preferably 20 to 30.

[0018] Examples of such polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ethers include glycereth-7 (the number after "glycereth" is the number of repeating oxyethylene units (average number of moles added)), glycereth-12, glycereth-20, glycereth-26, etc., and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more. The polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether (B) used in the present invention is preferably contained in an amount of 2 to 10 parts by mass, and more preferably 3 to 8 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic. Furthermore, in the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention, the mass ratio of (A) the polyglycerol fatty acid ester to (B) the polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether is preferably 40:60 to 80:20, and more preferably 50:50 to 70:30.

[0019] (C) Polymer emulsifier Polymer emulsifiers can be used without any particular limitation as long as they do not impair the effects of the present invention, and for example, graft copolymers, block copolymers, etc., which are copolymers of hydrophilic units and hydrophobic units, can be used alone or in combination of two or more.Specific examples include (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C10-30)) crosspolymers, (Na acrylate / Na acryloyldimethyl taurine) copolymers, (hydroxyethyl acrylate / Na acryloyldimethyl taurine) copolymers, etc., and (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C10-30)) crosspolymers are preferred.

[0020] The (acrylates / alkyl acrylate (C10-C30)) crosspolymer is a polymer in which a copolymer of acrylic acid and an alkyl (meth)acrylate having 10 to 30 carbon atoms is crosslinked with an allyl ether of sucrose or an allyl ether of pentaerythritol, and a commercially available product can be used. For example, commercially available products include AQUPEC HV-701EDR manufactured by Sumitomo Seika Chemicals, Carbopol 1342polymer, Carbopol 1382polymer, Carbopol ETD 2020polymer, Carbopol Ultrez 20polymer, Carbopol Ultrez 21polymer, Pemulen TR-1 Polymeric Emulsifier, and Pemulen TR-2 Polymeric Emulsifier manufactured by Lubrizol Japan. The polymeric emulsifier (C) used in the present invention is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 1.5 parts by mass, and more preferably 0.2 to 1.0 part by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic.

[0021] (D) Glycerin The cleansing cosmetic composition of the present invention is an oil-in-water type, and therefore has an aqueous phase and an oil phase, with the aqueous phase containing (D) glycerin and (E) water, and the oil phase containing (F) oil. The cleansing cosmetic of the present invention contains 25 to 60 parts by mass of glycerin, preferably 30 to 55 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic. Oil-in-water cosmetics are usually milky white due to emulsification. However, by blending 25 parts by mass or more of glycerin, the cosmetic can be made transparent. This is because the refractive index of glycerin is 1.473, which is high among aqueous solvents, and by blending 25 parts by mass or more of glycerin, the refractive index difference between the aqueous phase and the oil phase can be reduced. Furthermore, the washability tends to decrease as the content of glycerin increases, but the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention contains (A) polyglycerin fatty acid ester and (B) polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether, so that the washability can be suppressed from decreasing even when the cosmetic contains 25 parts by weight or more of glycerin.

[0022] (E)Water Water forms an aqueous phase together with glycerin. Water can be replaced with a water-soluble solvent other than glycerin as necessary. Examples of water-soluble solvents include polyhydric alcohols such as polyethylene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, 1,3-butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, and diglycerin, and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more. Among these, 1,2-pentanediol and dipropylene glycol are preferred because they improve cleansing power. In the present invention, the (E) water-soluble solvent other than water and glycerin is preferably blended in an amount of 10 parts by mass or more and 40 parts by mass or less in total per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic.

[0023] (F) Oil The oil is not particularly limited, and examples of the oil that can be used include silicone oil, ester oil, ether oil, fats and oils, and hydrocarbons, and these can be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds. Examples of silicone oils include dimethicone, methyl trimethicone, caprylyl methicone, phenyl trimethicone, hydrogen dimethicone, diphenylsiloxyphenyl trimethicone, cyclohexasiloxane, cyclopentasiloxane, and decamethylcyclopentasiloxane. [0024] Examples of ether oils include alkyl-1,3-dimethylbutyl ether, dicaprylyl ether, dihexyl ether, cetyl-1,3-dimethylbutyl ether, and the like. Examples of the oils and fats include liquid oils and fats such as camellia oil, evening primrose oil, macadamia nut oil, olive oil, rapeseed oil, corn oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil, germ oil, and wheat germ oil. Examples of the hydrocarbons include liquid paraffin, squalene, squalane, and microcrystalline wax. In the present invention, the (F) oil is preferably blended in a total amount of 5 parts by mass or more and 20 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic.

[0025] The oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic composition of the present invention may contain sugars, sugar alcohols, preservatives, sequestering agents, medicinal ingredients, fragrances, and the like, as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Examples of sugars and sugar alcohols include glucose, sorbitol, mannose, mannitol, galactose, galactitol, maltose, maltitol, trehalose, erythrose, erythritol, xylose, xylitol, sucrose, lactose, lactitol, and difructose anhydride.

[0026] Examples of preservatives include methylparaben and ethylparaben. Examples of the sequestering agent include disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, edetic acid, and edetate salts such as sodium edetate.

[0028] When preparing the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic of the present invention, the aqueous phase component and the oil phase component are separately prepared, and then cooled to 20° C.±10° C., and the aqueous phase and the oil phase are stirred and mixed at room temperature using a stirring and mixing device such as a homomixer or homodisper to form an oil-in-water emulsion. EXAMPLES

[0029] The present invention will be further described below with reference to tests using examples and comparative examples. Oil-in-water cleansing cosmetics of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 11 with the compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared by standard methods and evaluated as described below. The cosmetic of Comparative Example 10 did not emulsify (phase separation), and the cosmetic of Comparative Example 11 emulsified but was cloudy. The other cosmetics were emulsified and had a transparent appearance. The following evaluation was not performed for Comparative Example 10, which did not emulsify. The transparency was evaluated by placing each of the prepared oil-in-water cleansing cosmetics in a quartz cell measuring 1 cm square, and measuring the transmittance at 660 nm using a UV-2450 ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer (Shimadzu Corporation). A transmittance of 0.2% or more at 660 nm was determined to be transparent. The cleansing cosmetics of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 9 all had a transmittance of 0.2% or more at 660 nm. It was confirmed that the transmittance increased as the glycerin content increased, with Comparative Example 11, which had a glycerin content of 20%, having a transmittance of 0.095% at 660 nm, Example 2, which had a glycerin content of 30%, having a transmittance of 0.262%, and Example 1, which had a glycerin content of 45%, having a transmittance of 0.569%.

[0030] <Stability> The oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic was stored in a glass bottle and left at 40°C for one month to check for any abnormalities such as separation. Those that were stable at 40°C for one month without separation were marked with an ◯, and those that separated within one month at 40°C were marked with an ×. <Makeup blends well> Waterproof mascara was applied to a 1 cm diameter area of artificial leather and allowed to dry thoroughly. After that, approximately 50 mg of an oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic was placed on the skin and blended with a finger in a circular motion. The number of times the mascara was blended until it began to float was used as an indicator to evaluate how well the makeup blended. If the number of times the product was rubbed with a finger was 20 or less, it was marked as a good sign; if it was 21 to 50 times, it was marked as a fair sign; if it was 50 or more times, it was marked as an unsatisfactory sign.

[0031] <Rinse-off ability> Waterproof mascara was applied to a 1 cm diameter area of artificial leather, thoroughly dried, and then approximately 50 mg of oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic was placed on top and the mascara was allowed to blend in. The mascara was then rinsed off with running water for 30 seconds, and the ease with which the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic and the blended makeup were removed was used to evaluate the washability. A case in which both the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic and the blended makeup were completely removed from the artificial leather was rated as ◯, and a case in which at least one of the oil-in-water cleansing cosmetic and the makeup could not be completely removed was rated as ×. In addition, products that were rated as × in terms of makeup compatibility were excluded from the evaluation because the makeup did not match the product.
