Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a fitting, and more particularly to a fitting in which an inter-rail attachment is disposed between rails of a lower frame.

Background Art

[0002] For fittings such as a sliding window in which rails for guiding a shoji are arranged side by side in the prospective direction on a lower frame, there is one in which an inter-rail attachment is provided between the rails (see, for example, Patent Document 1). As the inter-rail attachment, one formed of a metal such as an aluminum alloy is used from the viewpoint of strength. According to the fitting provided with the inter-rail attachment as described above, since the step between the upper surface of the lower frame located between the rails and the rails is reduced, for example, there is an advantage that it becomes easy to pass with a wheelchair.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] Some fittings are designed to improve fire resistance by providing a thermally expandable member. The thermally expandable member is a non-combustible or flame-retardant fire-resistant member that expands when heated. For example, it is provided between the frame members constituting the frame body and the stile members constituting the shoji, such as the portions of the upper surface of the lower frame and the lower stile that face the rails. That is, when the fitting is exposed to high temperature due to a fire or the like, the thermally expandable member expands, thereby closing the gap between the frame body and the shoji, and preventing the spread of fire to the non-heated surface side.

[0005] Here, in the fixture where the inter-rail attachment is disposed between the rails, when the thermally expandable member is provided on the upper surface of the lower frame, there is a concern that the expansion of the thermally expandable member may be hindered by the inter-rail attachment. For this reason, in the one described in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, the above problem is solved by directly disposing the thermally expandable member on the inter-rail attachment.

[0006] However, among the inter-rail attachments, there are those in which a resin cap member is attached to the small end portion in consideration of handleability and appearance quality. The resin cap member melts or burns out when in a high-temperature state, and it is difficult to dispose the thermally expandable member. For this reason, when the fixture is exposed to high temperature, there is a possibility that a through-hole may be formed in the portion where the cap member is provided, and it is not necessarily preferable from the viewpoint of fire resistance.

[0007] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a fixture capable of improving the handleability and appearance quality of the inter-rail attachment without impairing fire resistance.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0008] To achieve the above object, the fixture according to the present invention includes a frame body and a shoji, and rails for guiding the shoji movably via door wheels are arranged in parallel in the expected direction on the lower frame constituting the frame body. The fixture is such that an inter-rail attachment is disposed between the rails, the inter-rail attachment is formed of metal, and a resin cap member is so as to protrude attached to the small end portion of the inter-rail attachment. A lower-frame thermally expandable member is partially provided at a position covered by the cap member and at a position overlapping the door wheel in the longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the lower frame between the rails. The inter-rail attachment is characterized in that an attachment thermally expandable member is provided over the entire length in the longitudinal direction on the lower surface facing the lower frame. at a portion protruding from the small end face of the inter-rail attachment in

Effects of the Invention

Effects of the Invention

[0009] According to the present invention, since the thermally expandable member for the lower frame is provided at a position overlapping the cap member in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame, the arrangement position of the melted or burned-out cap member is blocked by the thermally expandable member for the lower frame, and a situation where a flame penetration opening is generated can be prevented. As the position where the thermally expandable member for the lower frame is provided, even if it is the upper surface of the lower frame, there is no concern that thermal expansion is hindered because the cap member is melted or burned out in a high-temperature state. Therefore, even when the handleability and appearance quality of the attachment between rails are improved by providing a cap member at the small-end portion, it is possible to prevent a situation where the fire resistance is impaired.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0011] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the fitting according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. For convenience, the terms "prospective direction" and "search direction" are used hereinafter. The prospective direction is the direction along the depth of the fitting, as indicated by arrow A in the figure. A surface along the prospective direction may be referred to as a prospective surface. The search direction is the direction along the vertical direction orthogonal to the prospective direction in the case of a member extending along the horizontal direction such as a lower frame. In the case of a member extending along the vertical direction such as a vertical frame, the search direction is the direction along the horizontal orthogonal to the prospective direction. A surface along the search direction may be referred to as a search surface.

[0012] Figs. 1 to 10 show a fitting according to an embodiment of the present invention. The fitting exemplified here is a sliding window having a frame body 10, an inner shutter 20A disposed on the indoor side of the frame body 10, and an outer shutter 20B disposed on the outdoor side of the frame body 10. The frame body 10 is formed in a rectangular shape by providing an upper frame 13 and a lower frame 14 between the upper and lower ends of the left and right vertical frames 11 and 12, respectively. The inner shutter 20A and the outer shutter 20B are each formed by providing vertical frames 22 and 23 on the left and right edges of a rectangular face member 21, and attaching an upper frame 24 and a lower frame 25 to the portions between the vertical frames 22 and 23 at the upper and lower edges of the face member 21.

[0013] As shown in FIGS. 7 to 10, the inner shutter 20A and the outer shutter 20B are each provided with a roller 26 on its lower frame 25. The roller 26 is rotatable about an axis along the prospective direction and is disposed on the lower frame 25 with its lower peripheral surface exposed on the lower surface of the lower frame 25. As is clear from the figure, an inner cover wall portion 25a is provided on the portion of the lower frame 25 located on the indoor side of the roller 26 so as to protrude downward from the peripheral surface of the roller 26, and an outer cover wall portion 25b is provided on the portion of the lower frame 25 located on the outdoor side of the roller 26 so as to protrude downward from the peripheral surface of the roller 26. In the illustrated example, the frame body 10, the inner shutter 20A, and the outer shutter 20B are configured such that when the inner shutter 20A is arranged on the right side and the outer shutter 20B is arranged on the left side when viewed from the indoor side, the opening of the frame body 10 can be closed. The frames 11, 12, 13, 14 constituting the frame body 10 and the frames 22, 23, 24, 25 constituting the shutters 20A, 20B are extrusion-molded members made of a metal such as an aluminum alloy and are configured to have a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape over the entire length along the longitudinal direction.

[0014] As shown in FIG. 4, the lower frame 14 of the frame body 10 has a lower frame base portion 14a, and an inner finding wall portion 14b, an inner rail 14c, an outer rail 14d, and an outer finding wall portion 14e are arranged in parallel in the prospective direction on the lower frame base portion 14a. The lower frame base portion 14a is in the form of a plate extending along the prospective direction. In the illustrated example, the lower frame base portion 14a is configured by providing a plurality of flat plate-like portions in a stepped manner so as to gradually become downward toward the outdoor side.

[0015] The inner finding wall portion 14b is a plate-shaped portion extending vertically from the edge located on the indoor side of the lower frame base portion 14a. The upper edge portion of the inner finding wall portion 14b is bent substantially at a right angle toward the interior of the room. The inner rail 14c is for guiding the inner shutter 20A movably via the door wheel 26, and extends upward from the middle portion of the flat plate-shaped portion located on the indoor side in the lower frame base portion 14a. The outer rail 14d is for guiding the outer shutter 20B movably via the door wheel 26, and extends upward from the edge located on the outdoor side of the flat plate-shaped portion that is one step lower than the inner rail 14c. As is clear from the figure, the inner finding wall portion 14b, the inner rail 14c, and the outer rail 14d are configured such that their protruding heights are substantially the same as each other. The outer finding wall portion 14e is a plate-shaped portion extending upward from the edge located on the outdoor side of the lower frame base portion 14a. The protruding height of the outer finding wall portion 14e is configured to be lower than that of the outer rail 14d. An outer engagement receiving portion 14f protruding toward the interior of the room is provided at the upper edge portion of the outer finding wall portion 14e.

[0016] Further, a hollow portion 14g is formed below the lower frame base portion 14a in the lower frame 14. The hollow portion 14g is formed between below the inner rail 14c and below the intermediate portion between the outer rail 14d and the outer finding wall portion 14e. A reinforcing member 15 made of a material having a higher fire resistance strength than an aluminum alloy, such as a steel material, is disposed in the hollow portion 14g.

[0017] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, an inner stopper member 16 is disposed at a position covering the inner rail 14c on the lower frame 14 having the above-described configuration, and an outer stopper member 17 is disposed at a position covering the outer rail 14d. The inner stopper member 16 is disposed at the end portion located on the left side of the lower frame 14 when viewed from the indoor side, and abuts on the inner shutter 20A before the inner shutter 20A abuts on the left vertical frame 11. Similarly, the outer stopper member 17 is disposed at the end portion located on the right side of the lower frame 14 when viewed from the outdoor side, and abuts on the outer shutter 20B before the outer shutter 20B abuts on the right vertical frame 12.

[0018] Also, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, an indoor attachment 30 is disposed between an inner finding wall portion 14b and an inner rail 14c of the lower frame 14, and an outdoor attachment 40 is disposed between an outer finding wall portion 14e and an outer rail 14d. The indoor attachment 30 and the outdoor attachment 40 are each formed of an extruded profile made of a metal such as an aluminum alloy, and are configured to have a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape over the entire length along the longitudinal direction.

[0019] The indoor attachment 30 is integrally formed with a hollow inner main body portion 30a, an inner pressing leg portion 30b, an inner engaging leg portion 30c, and an inner inclined protruding piece 30d extending from the inner main body portion 30a. In the illustrated example, with resin-made inner cap members 31 attached to both ends, it is disposed in a series between the right end of the lower frame 14 and the right end of the inner stopper member 16 when viewed from the indoor side. The inner pressing leg portion 30b is in the form of a plate extending downward from an edge portion located on the indoor side of the inner main body portion 30a. The inner engaging leg portion 30c is in the form of a plate extending downward from an edge portion located on the outdoor side of the inner main body portion 30a. An inner engaging protrusion 30e protruding toward the outside is provided at the lower edge portion of the inner engaging leg portion 30c. The inner inclined protruding piece 30d is in the form of a plate extending from an edge portion located on the outdoor side of the inner main body portion 30a so as to gradually go downward toward the outside.

[0020] This indoor attachment 30 is detachably mounted between the inward locating wall portion 14b and the inward rail 14c by engaging the inward engaging projection 30e of the inward engaging leg portion 30c with the inward projecting rib 14h provided on the lower frame base portion 14a with the inward pressing leg portion 30b in contact with the inward locating wall portion 14b. The indoor attachment 30 mounted on the lower frame 14 has a protruding height from the lower frame base portion 14a substantially the same as that of the inward rail 14c. The inward main body portion 30a of the indoor attachment 30 is positioned close to the inward locating wall portion 14b while securing a gap into which the inward cover wall portion 25a of the inner shutter 20A can be inserted between it and the inward rail 14c. An inwardly inclined projecting piece 30d is disposed in the gap between the inward rail 14c and the inward main body portion 30a. An attachment heat-expandable member 50 is disposed on the surface of the inward main body portion 30a facing the inward rail 14c. The attachment heat-expandable member 50 is a non-combustible or flame-retardant fireproof member that expands by heat. As this type of attachment heat-expandable member 50, for example, a graphite-containing foam material having heat-expandability can be applied. In the present embodiment, a long attachment heat-expandable member 50 having a thin cross-sectional shape with respect to the dimension in the width direction is disposed over substantially the entire length along the longitudinal direction of the inward main body portion 30a. Although not shown in the figure, the attachment heat-expandable member 50 is adhered by a double-sided tape or an adhesive and does not accidentally fall off from the inward main body portion 30a. The portion above the attachment heat-expandable member 50 is covered by an upper cover portion 30f extending from the inward main body portion 30a.

[0021] The outdoor attachment 40 is integrally formed with a plate-shaped outer body portion 40a, an upward protruding piece 40b, an outward protruding piece 40c, and an outwardly inclined protruding piece 40d extending from the upper edge portion of the outer body portion 40a. In the illustrated example, it is arranged in a series along the longitudinal direction of the lower frame 14 over substantially the entire length with resin-made outer cap members 41 attached to both ends. The outer body portion 40a extends in the vertical direction and has a hook portion 40e at the lower end. The hook portion 40e is bent substantially at a right angle toward the outside, then extends downward, and further bends substantially at a right angle toward the outside. The upward protruding piece 40b is in the form of a plate that extends upward from the upper edge portion of the outer body portion 40a and then bends substantially at a right angle toward the inside. The outward protruding piece 40c is in the form of a plate that extends substantially at a right angle toward the outside from the upper edge portion of the outer body portion 40a, then extends upward, further extends substantially at a right angle toward the inside, and then extends so as to bend downward. An engaging claw portion 40g that can be engaged with the outer engaging receiving portion 14f of the outer finding wall portion 14e is provided at the extending edge portion of the outward protruding piece 40c. The outwardly inclined protruding piece 40d is in the form of a plate that extends from the upper edge portion of the outer body portion 40a so as to gradually go downward toward the inside.

[0022] This outdoor attachment 40 is detachably mounted between the outer finding wall portion 14e and the outer rail 14d by engaging the engaging claw portion 40g with the outer engaging receiving portion 14f of the outer finding wall portion 14e in a state where the hook portion 40e is engaged with the outer claw portion 14i provided on the lower frame base portion 14a. The outdoor attachment 40 mounted on the lower frame 14 has a protruding height from the lower frame base portion 14a that is substantially the same as that of the outer rail 14d. The upper protruding piece 40b of the outdoor attachment 40 is arranged in a state where a gap is secured between the outer rail 14d and the outer rail 14d so that the outer cover wall portion 25b of the outer shutter 20B can be inserted. An outwardly inclined protruding piece 40d is arranged in the gap between the outer rail 14d and the upper protruding piece 40b. Attachment heat-expandable members 50 are respectively disposed on the surface of the outer main body portion 40a facing the interior, the surface of the outer main body portion 40a facing the exterior, the surface of the upper protruding piece 40b facing the interior, and the lower surface of the outer protruding piece 40c facing the lower frame base portion 14a. The attachment heat-expandable member 50 is the same as that provided on the indoor attachment 30 and is adhered to each part of the outdoor attachment 40 by a double-sided tape or an adhesive.

[0023] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, on the lower frame 14, a weatherstrip 60, a fall-preventing fitting 61, an attachment between rails 70, and a heat-expandable member 51 for the lower frame are disposed at a portion between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d on the upper surface of the lower frame base portion 14a. The weatherstrip 60 is for blocking the ventilation between the interior and the exterior between the lower frame 14 and the inner shutter 20A and the outer shutter 20B in a state where the opening of the frame body 10 is closed, and is formed of resin. This weatherstrip 60 is disposed at a portion below the vertical stile (hereinafter referred to as the mating stile 23) that is disposed at a mating position in each of the shutters 20A and 20B. The fall-preventing fitting 61 is for preventing the mating stile 23 of each of the shutters 20A and 20B from moving downward with respect to the lower frame 14, and is formed of metal. This fall-preventing fitting 61 is disposed at a portion below the mating stile 23 in a state of being close to the weatherstrip 60 on the left side of the weatherstrip 60 when viewed from the indoor side. The fall-preventing fitting 61 is provided with a heat-expandable member 50' for the fitting, which is the same as the attachment heat-expandable member 50.

[0024] The between-rail attachment 70 is an extruded profile formed of a metal such as an aluminum alloy, and is configured to have a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape over the entire length along the longitudinal direction. In the present embodiment, a between-rail attachment 70 integrally formed with a hollow central body portion 70a, a middle pressing leg portion 70b extending from the central body portion 70a, a middle engaging leg portion 70c, and a middle inclined protruding piece 70d is applied. In the illustrated example, with resin cap members 71 attached to both ends, between-rail attachments 70 are disposed between the inner stopper member 16 and the anti-drop fitting 61 and between the windstop plate 60 and the outer stopper member 17, respectively. The middle pressing leg portion 70b is in the form of a plate extending downward from the lower surface located on the indoor side of the central body portion 70a. The middle engaging leg portion 70c is in the form of a plate that extends downward toward the outdoor side from the edge located on the outdoor side of the central body portion 70a and then bends and extends downward. A middle engaging protrusion 70e protruding toward the outdoor side is provided at the lower edge portion of the middle engaging leg portion 70c. The middle inclined protruding piece 70d is in the form of a plate that extends from the edge located on the indoor side of the central body portion 70a so as to gradually become lower toward the indoor side. The cap member 71 has a cross-sectional shape capable of covering all of the small-end end surfaces of the between-rail attachment 70, and has an insertion portion 71a that can be inserted into the hollow portion of the central body portion 70a. The upper portion of the cap member 71 is formed in a tapered shape such that the dimension in the prospective direction gradually decreases toward the tip.

[0025] This inter-rail attachment 70 is detachably mounted between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d by engaging the middle engaging protrusion 70e of the middle engaging leg portion 70c with the outer engaging receiving portion 14k provided at the lower part of the outer rail 14d with the middle pressing leg portion 70b abutted against the middle protrusion 14j provided on the lower frame base 14a. That is, since the inter-rail attachment 70 is configured such that the dimensions in the prospective direction of the cap members 71 mounted at both ends are smaller toward the tip, spaces are secured between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d respectively where fingers can be inserted. Therefore, by inserting a finger into this space and gripping the cap member 71, it can be easily removed from the lower frame 14. The inter-rail attachment 70 mounted on the lower frame 14 has a protrusion height from the lower frame base 14a that is substantially the same as that of the inner rail 14c. The central body portion 70a of the inter-rail attachment 70 is located at a position substantially in the middle between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d while securing a gap into which the outer cover wall portion 25b of the inner blind 20A can be inserted between the inner rail 14c and a gap into which the inner cover wall portion 25a of the outer blind 20B can be inserted between the outer rail 14d. An intermediate inclined protruding piece 70d is disposed in the gap between the inner rail 14c and the central body portion 70a, and an inclined extending portion of the middle engaging leg portion 70c is disposed in the gap between the outer rail 14d and the central body portion 70a. Attachment heat-expandable members 50 are disposed over the entire length in the longitudinal direction on the surface of the central body portion 70a facing the inner rail 14c, the surface of the central body portion 70a facing the outer rail 14d, the lower surface of the central body portion 70a facing the lower frame base 14a, and the lower surface of the intermediate inclined protruding piece 70d facing the lower frame base 14a. The attachment heat-expandable members 50 are the same as those provided on the indoor attachment 30 and are adhered to each part of the inter-rail attachment 70 by double-sided tape or an adhesive. The attachment heat-expandable members 50 provided on the surface of the central body portion 70a facing the inner rail 14c and the attachment heat-expandable members 50 provided on the surface of the central body portion 70a facing the outer rail 14d are each covered by an upper cover portion 70f extending from the central body portion 70a at the upper part thereof.

[0026] The lower frame heat-expandable member 51 is a non-combustible or flame-retardant refractory member that expands due to heat, similar to the attachment heat-expandable member 50. For example, a graphite-containing foam material having heat-expandability can be applied. In the present embodiment, a long lower frame heat-expandable member 51 having a cross-sectional shape with a thin plate thickness relative to the dimension in the width direction is disposed on the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 6, two lower frame heat-expandable members 51 are arranged in the prospective direction so as to be parallel to each other in a portion on the left side of the anti-drop fitting 61 when viewed from the indoor side, and two lower frame heat-expandable members 51 are arranged in the prospective direction so as to be parallel to each other in a portion on the right side of the windstop plate 60.

[0027] The left lower frame heat-expandable member 51 overlaps with the cap member 71 located on the central side of the inter-rail attachment 70 disposed on the left side in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame 14, and further extends below the end of the inter-rail attachment 70 so as to overlap with the door wheel 26 of the outer sash 20B. The right lower frame heat-expandable member 51 overlaps with the cap member 71 located on the central side of the inter-rail attachment 70 disposed on the right side in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame 14, and further extends below the end of the inter-rail attachment 70 so as to overlap with the door wheel 26 of the inner sash 20A. Although not clearly shown in the figure, these lower frame heat-expandable members 51 are adhered by a double-sided tape or an adhesive and do not accidentally fall off from the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a. Further, in a state where the inter-rail attachment 70 is disposed on the lower frame 14, the upper portion of these lower frame heat-expandable members 51 is covered by the inter-rail attachment 70 and the cap member 71, making it difficult to visually recognize from the outside.

[0028] In the fitting configured as described above, since the indoor attachment 30, the between-rail attachment 70, and the outdoor attachment 40 are provided on the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a, the step between the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a and the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d becomes almost zero, and the gap between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d is filled. Therefore, it is advantageous in terms of barrier-free, for example, it becomes easier for a wheelchair to pass through.

[0029] Moreover, cap members 31, 71, and 41 formed of resin are attached to the ends of the respective attachments 30, 70, and 40. As a result, not only is there no risk of impairing the appearance quality of the fitting because the small-mouth ends of the attachments 30, 70, and 40 are not exposed to the outside, but also the handleability of the attachments 30, 70, and 40 can be improved.

[0030] Furthermore, since two between-rail attachments 70 are arranged between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d along the longitudinal direction of the lower frame 14, it is possible to remove them from the lower frame 14 while the shoji 20A and 20B are arranged on the frame body 10. As a result, it is possible to improve the maintainability, such as making it easier to remove the dust deposited on the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a. In particular, when the shoji 20A and 20B are closed, the cap member 71 of the between-rail attachment 70 arranged on the right side as viewed from the indoor side is covered by the inner shoji 20A, and the cap member 71 of the between-rail attachment 70 arranged on the left side as viewed from the indoor side is almost covered by the calling frame 23 of the outer shoji 20B. Thereby, during normal use, the cap member 71 is hardly exposed to the outside, and a situation where the appearance quality of the fitting is impaired can be prevented.

[0031] Furthermore, the above-described fittings are also advantageous in terms of fire resistance. That is, the indoor attachment 30 and the outdoor attachment 40 are each provided with an attachment heat-expandable member 50 over the entire length. Therefore, on the indoor side of the inner rail 14c and on the outdoor side of the outer rail 14d, the attachment heat-expandable member 50 expands thermally, preventing a situation where a flame penetration opening is formed between the lower frame 14 and the lower frame 25 of the inner sash 20A and between the lower frame 14 and the lower frame 25 of the outer sash 20B.

[0032] On the other hand, between the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d, the attachment heat-expandable member 50 is provided over the entire length of the two-rail attachment 70, and the fitting heat-expandable member 50' is provided on the anti-drop fitting 61. In addition, a lower frame heat-expandable member 51 is provided at a portion below the cap member 71 on the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a. Therefore, even if the cap member 71 melts or burns out due to the fitting being exposed to high temperatures by a fire or the like, the attachment heat-expandable member 50, the fitting heat-expandable member 50', and the lower frame heat-expandable member 51 expand thermally as a series, reliably preventing a situation where a gap is formed between the lower frame 14 and the lower frame 25 of the inner sash 20A and between the lower frame 14 and the lower frame 25 of the outer sash 20B, which is advantageous in terms of fire resistance.

[0033] In the above-described embodiment, a sliding window is exemplified in which the inner sash 20A and the outer sash 20B are provided to be movable, but the present invention can be similarly applied to a single sliding window in which one of the sashes is fixed.

[0034] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, as the inter-rail attachment 70, an example is given of one in which a central main body portion 70a, a middle pressing leg portion 70b, a middle engaging leg portion 70c, and a middle inclined protruding piece 70d are integrally formed. However, the shape of the inter-rail attachment is not limited to this. Also, the inter-rail attachments 70 do not necessarily have to be two along the longitudinal direction, and there may be one or three or more. Similarly, the cross-sectional shape of the lower frame 14 does not have to be the same as that of the embodiment, and it may be any shape as long as it has an inner rail 14c and an outer rail 14d.

[0035] Furthermore, since the thermally expandable member 51 for the lower frame is provided on the upper surface of the lower frame base 14a, even when the inter-rail attachment 70 is attached and detached, there is no possibility that the inter-rail attachment 70 contacts the thermally expandable member 51 for the lower frame, and it is possible to prevent a situation in which problems such as peeling occur in the thermally expandable member 51 for the lower frame. However, the thermally expandable member 51 for the lower frame does not necessarily have to be disposed on the upper surface of the lower frame 14, and it can also be provided, for example, on the surfaces of the inner rail 14c and the outer rail 14d.

[0036] As described above, the fitting according to the present invention includes a frame body and a shoji, and in the lower frame constituting the frame body, rails are arranged in parallel in the prospective direction, and an inter-rail attachment is disposed between the rails. The inter-rail attachment has a resin cap member attached to the end portion of the invoice, and in the portion of the lower frame between the rails, a thermally expandable member for the lower frame is provided at a position overlapping the cap member in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame. According to the present invention, since the heat-expandable member for the lower frame is provided at a position overlapping the cap member in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame, the arrangement position of the melted or burned-out cap member is blocked by the heat-expandable member for the lower frame, and a situation where a flame penetration hole is generated can be prevented. As the position where the heat-expandable member for the lower frame is provided, even if it is the upper surface of the lower frame, there is no concern that the heat expansion is hindered because the cap member is melted or burned out in a high-temperature state. Therefore, even when the handleability and appearance quality of the inter-rail attachment are improved by providing the cap member at the end of the invoice, it is possible to prevent a situation where the fire resistance is impaired.

[0037] Further, the present invention is characterized in that, in the above-described fitting, the heat-expandable member for the lower frame is provided on the upper surface of the lower frame. According to the present invention, even when the inter-rail attachment is attached to and detached from the lower frame, there is no possibility that the inter-rail attachment comes into contact with the heat-expandable member for the lower frame, and it is possible to prevent a situation where the heat-expandable member for the lower frame peels off from the lower frame.

[0038] Further, the present invention is characterized in that, in the above-described fitting, the heat-expandable member for the lower frame is provided at a position covered by the cap member. According to the present invention, it becomes difficult to visually recognize the heat-expandable member for the lower frame during normal use, which is advantageous in terms of the appearance quality of the fitting.

[0039] Further, the present invention is characterized in that, in the above-described fitting, a plurality of the inter-rail attachments are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame between the rails. According to the present invention, it is possible to attach and detach the inter-rail attachment without removing the shoji, and there are advantages such as being able to easily remove the dust deposited between the rails.

[0040] Moreover, the present invention provides the above-described fitting, wherein a plurality of the inter-rail attachments are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the lower frame, and one of the cap members is provided below a vertical stile where at least a part thereof is disposed in the muntin when the shoji is closed. According to this invention, it is possible to prevent a situation where the cap member is visually recognized, which is advantageous in terms of appearance quality.

[0041] Moreover, the present invention provides the above-described fitting, wherein the inter-rail attachment is provided with a heat-expandable member for attachment along the longitudinal direction at a position facing the lower frame of the shoji. According to this invention, it is possible to more reliably prevent a situation where a through hole occurs over the entire length between the lower frame and the shoji by the heat-expandable member for the lower frame provided on the lower frame and the heat-expandable member for attachment provided on the inter-rail attachment.
