[0003] Patent Publication No. 6633720 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, conventional rebar tying machines attached to self-propelled robots for tying rebars store reels of binding wire in a binding wire storage magazine to perform the binding operation, so each time a reel is used up, the robot must be stopped, the binding wire storage magazine of the rebar tying machine must be opened, and the reel must be replaced, resulting in reduced work efficiency.
[0005] Therefore, the present invention solves the problems of the prior art as described above. In other words, the object of the present invention is to provide a binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine that can supply binding wire from outside the rebar binding machine without modifying the existing rebar binding machine, thereby eliminating the need to change reels in the binding wire storage magazine, and that can perform binding work continuously for long periods of time without being restricted by the capacity of the binding wire storage magazine. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The invention of claim 1 is a binding wire supply system for a reinforcing bar binding machine that supplies binding wire to a reinforcing bar binding machine from outside the reinforcing bar binding machine that binds intersections of reinforcing bars with binding wire, the system comprising: a reel mounting unit that is installed near the reinforcing bar binding machine and has a binding wire supply reel mounted thereon that supplies the binding wire to the reinforcing bar binding machine; and a reel mounting unit that is provided with a fitting protrusion and is placed on an introduction window provided in a binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine from the outside of the binding wire storage magazine to receive the binding wire supplied from the binding wire supply reel. The above-mentioned problem is solved by comprising a binding wire adapter that introduces the binding wire into the binding wire storage magazine of the rebar tying machine; an adapter fixing piece that is disposed inside the binding wire storage magazine and has a fitting notch that fits into the fitting protrusion of the binding wire adapter and fixes the binding wire adapter to the binding wire storage magazine; and a binding wire insertion guide that inserts and guides the binding wire from the reel attachment unit to the binding wire adapter.
[0007] The invention of claim 2 solves the above-mentioned problem by being characterized in that, in addition to the configuration of the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine described in claim 1, the reel mounting unit is equipped with a reverse rotation prevention member.
[0008] The invention of claim 3 further solves the above-mentioned problem by providing the binding wire adapter with a guide connection portion for connecting the binding wire insertion guide in addition to the configuration of the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine described in claim 1 or claim 2.

[0010] The invention of claim 5 further solves the above-mentioned problem by, in addition to the configuration of the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine described in claim 4, having the binding wire introduction pipeline section opening obliquely toward the magazine peripheral wall at the pipeline end portion within the binding wire storage magazine.
[0011] The invention of claim 6 further solves the above-mentioned problem by incorporating the configuration of the binding wire supply system for a reinforcing bar binding machine described in any one of claims 1 to 5, in that the binding wire insertion guide is formed from a tightly-fitted coil spring through which the binding wire is inserted. [Effects of the Invention]
[0012] According to the binding wire supply system for a reinforcing bar binding machine of the invention set forth in claim 1, the binding wire supply system for a reinforcing bar binding machine supplies binding wire to the reinforcing bar binding machine from outside the reinforcing bar binding machine, which binds the intersections of reinforcing bars with binding wire, and includes a reel mounting unit mounted with a binding wire supply reel that is installed near the reinforcing bar binding machine and supplies binding wire to the reinforcing bar binding machine; a binding wire adapter that has an engaging protrusion and is placed against an introduction window provided in the binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine from the outside of the binding wire storage magazine to introduce the binding wire supplied from the binding wire supply reel into the binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine; and the engaging protrusion of the binding wire adapter. The binding wire adapter is composed of an adapter fixing piece that is disposed inside the binding wire storage magazine and has a fitting notch that fits into the reel attachment unit, and that fixes the binding wire adapter to the binding wire storage magazine; and a binding wire insertion guide that inserts and guides the binding wire from the reel attachment unit to the binding wire adapter.Since the binding wire adapter is fixed to the introduction window of an existing rebar tying machine, it is possible to supply binding wire from outside the rebar tying machine without having to modify the existing rebar tying machine, eliminating the need to change reels in the binding wire storage magazine, and allowing binding work to be performed continuously for long periods of time without being restricted by the capacity of the binding wire storage magazine.
[0013] Furthermore, by having a binding wire adapter with an engaging protrusion and an adapter fixing piece with an engaging notch that fits into the engaging protrusion of the binding wire adapter, the engaging notch of the adapter fixing piece fits into the engaging protrusion of the binding wire adapter, so that the binding wire adapter can be placed from the outside against an introduction window provided in the binding wire storage magazine of the rebar tying machine and placed inside the binding wire storage magazine so that the engaging notch of the adapter fixing piece fits into the engaging protrusion of the binding wire adapter, and the binding wire adapter can be fixed to the introduction window.
[0014] According to the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine of the invention of claim 2 of the present invention, in addition to the effects achieved by the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine of the invention of claim 1, the reel mounting unit is equipped with a reverse rotation prevention member, so that the binding wire once pulled out by the binding operation of the rebar binding machine does not rewind but becomes an excess, allowing the rebar binding machine to pull in the binding wire with less force, reducing power consumption and preventing wear and tear on the equipment.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0020] The present invention includes a reel mounting unit mounted with a binding wire supply reel that is installed near a reinforcing bar binding machine and supplies binding wire to the reinforcing bar binding machine; a binding wire adapter that has a fitting protrusion and is placed against an introduction window provided in the binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine from the outside of the binding wire storage magazine to introduce the binding wire supplied from the binding wire supply reel into the binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine; an adapter fixing piece that has a fitting notch that fits into the fitting protrusion of the binding wire adapter and is placed inside the binding wire storage magazine to fix the binding wire adapter to the binding wire storage magazine; and a binding wire insertion guide that inserts and guides the binding wire from the reel mounting unit to the binding wire adapter. The specific embodiment may be any one as long as it is configured as follows: it is possible to supply binding wire from outside the rebar binding machine without modifying the existing rebar binding machine, thereby eliminating the need to change reels in the binding wire storage magazine; it is possible to perform binding work continuously for long periods of time without being restricted by the capacity of the binding wire storage magazine; and it is possible to place the binding wire adapter from the outside against an introduction window provided in the binding wire storage magazine of the rebar binding machine, and to position the binding wire adapter inside the binding wire storage magazine so that the fitting notch portion of the adapter fixing piece fits into the fitting protrusion portion of the binding wire adapter, thereby fixing the binding wire adapter to the introduction window.
[0021] In other words, the reel attachment unit of the present invention only needs to be installed close to the rebar tying machine and supply the tying wire to the rebar tying machine, and in addition to being configured to be fixed to a self-propelled robot for tying rebars, it can also be configured, for example, to be worn around the waist or carried on the back by the person who holds the rebar tying machine and performs the tying work.
[0022] Furthermore, the binding wire adapter of the present invention may be configured not only to be attached and fixed to the introduction window of the binding wire storage magazine using an adapter fixing piece, but also to have an engaging and fixing claw in the binding wire adapter itself to engage and fix to the introduction window.
[0023] Furthermore, the binding wire insertion guide of the present invention may be any material that flexibly and elastically deforms when a binding wire is inserted therethrough, and may be constructed from a metal tight coil, a general coil spring, a metal flexible tube, or other flexible tube. [Example]
[0024] Hereinafter, the configuration of a binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5B. Here, Figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a self-propelled robot for rebar binding to which the binding wire supply system for a rebar binding machine of the present invention can be applied, Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing one embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 is an explanatory diagram showing the operation of a reel attachment unit of one embodiment of the present invention, Figure 4 is a schematic diagram showing a state in which a binding wire insertion guide of one embodiment of the present invention has been inserted and fixed into a binding wire adapter, Figure 5A is a schematic front view of a binding wire adapter of one embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 5B is a schematic side view of a binding wire adapter of one embodiment of the present invention.
[0025] The binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine in this embodiment is used to supply binding wire TW from outside the reinforcing bar binding machine BD mounted on the self-propelled robot R for reinforcing bar binding shown in Figure 1.
[0026] The self-propelled robot R for rebar tying shown in Figure 1 is equipped with a handheld rebar tying machine BD, and while it moves on its own over the running rebars LR arranged in parallel, it moves the rebar tying machine BD up and down to tie the intersections of the running rebars LR and the orthogonal rebars TR arranged perpendicular to the running rebars LR.
[0027] The binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine according to this embodiment includes a reel mounting unit 110, a binding wire adapter 120, and a binding wire insertion guide 140, as shown in FIGS.
[0028] The reel mounting unit 110 includes a mounting frame 111, a mounting rotation plate 112, a mounting shaft 113, and a one-way clutch 114 as a reverse rotation prevention member.
[0029] The mounting frame 111 is configured in a T-shape as a whole, as shown in Figure 2, and is fixed to the self-propelled robot R for rebar binding at multiple points, and a mounting rotation plate 112 is fixed to the upper end portion so as to be able to rotate freely, as shown in Figure 3.
[0030] The mounting rotation plate 112 is rotatably fixed to the vicinity of the upper end of the mounting frame 111 via a one-way clutch 114, and is provided at its center with a mounting shaft 113 that shares a rotation axis.
[0031] The one-way clutch 114 restricts the rotation direction to one direction, and is set so that when the binding wire supply reel WR is attached to the attachment shaft 113, the binding wire supply reel WR rotates only in the direction in which the binding wire TW is supplied.
[0032] As shown in Figures 4 to 5B, the binding wire adapter 120 includes an attachment base portion 121, a guide connection portion 122, a binding wire introduction conduit portion 123, a conduit termination portion 124, an engaging protrusion portion 125, and an engaging protrusion piece portion 126.
[0033] The mounting base portion 121 is a plate-like structure having a shape and dimensions that just close the introduction window EW provided in the binding wire storage magazine MG of the reinforcing bar binding machine BD that supplies the binding wire TW.
[0034] A relatively large-diameter cylindrical guide connection portion 122 is provided on one side of the mounting base portion 121, and a relatively small-diameter cylindrical binding wire introduction conduit portion 123 is provided on the other side, and these are configured to be coaxial with each other and with the internal conduit passing through the mounting base portion 121.
[0035] The angle that the central axis shared by cylindrical guide connection portion 122 and binding wire introduction conduit portion 123 makes with mounting base portion 121 is offset from the vertical, and as shown in FIG. 5A, when viewed from the front of binding wire adapter 120, is inclined at an angle α with respect to the flat surface of mounting base portion 121, and further as shown in FIG. 5B, when viewed from the side of binding wire adapter 120, is inclined at an angle β with respect to the flat surface of mounting base portion 121. In this embodiment, α is set to about 75 degrees and β is set to about 85 degrees.
[0036] The tip of binding wire introduction conduit section 123 is cut obliquely relative to its central axis to form conduit termination section 124. The flat surface that forms conduit termination section 124 is configured as a plane perpendicular to the front of mounting base section 121 so as to open widely toward the sloping side of binding wire introduction conduit section 123, as shown in Figures 5A and 5B.
[0037] At both longitudinal ends of the mounting base portion 121 on the side where the binding wire introduction pipeline portion 123 is provided, a fitting protrusion portion 125 with a T-shaped cross section and a rectangular prism-shaped engaging protrusion piece portion 126 are arranged to sandwich the binding wire introduction pipeline portion 123.
[0038] Next, referring to Figures 2, 4 and 6, we will explain the procedure for attaching the binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine of this embodiment to a reinforcing bar binding machine BD and supplying the binding wire TW into the reinforcing bar binding machine BD.
[0039] Here, Figure 6 is a schematic explanatory diagram showing the mounting method of the mounting base part according to one embodiment of the present invention and the movement path of the introduced binding wire, and for the purpose of explanation, the opening and closing lid that is normally provided on the binding wire storage magazine MG of the rebar binding machine BD has been omitted.
[0040] In order to attach the binding wire supply system 100 for a rebar binding machine according to this embodiment to the rebar binding machine BD and supply the binding wire TW into the binding wire storage magazine MG, first, as shown in FIG. 4, the binding wire insertion guide 140 is inserted into and fixed in the guide connection portion 122 of the binding wire adapter 120.
[0041] 2, the binding wire TW wound around and stored in the binding wire supply reel WR, which is attached to the attachment shaft 113 of the attachment rotary plate 112 constituting the reel attachment unit 110 and is rotatable together with the attachment rotary plate 112, is pulled out and inserted through the binding wire insertion guide 140. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the binding wire TW emerging from the conduit terminal end 124 of the binding wire introduction conduit section 123 is slightly bent in the direction in which the conduit terminal end 124 is widely opened, and the tip is twisted.
[0042] Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 6, the binding wire adapter 120 is placed from the outside against the introduction window EW provided in the binding wire storage magazine MG of the rebar binding machine BD, and is placed inside the binding wire storage magazine MG so that the mating notch portion 131 of the adapter fixing piece 130 fits into the mating protrusion portion 125 of the binding wire adapter 120, and the binding wire adapter 120 is fixed to the introduction window.
[0043] In this case, by placing a dummy reel DM, which has a cylindrical shape similar to the binding wire reel, in the position where the binding wire reel would be placed in the binding wire storage magazine MG when not using the binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine of the present invention, the binding wire TW introduced into the binding wire storage magazine MG is guided along the side wall of the dummy reel DM, i.e., along the peripheral wall of the binding wire storage magazine MG, as shown by the hatched arrow in Figure 6, and is supplied into the guide window LG and used to bind the reinforcing bars.
[0044] After the above preparations, the self-propelled robot for rebar tying R is placed on the running rebar LR as shown in Figure 2 and operation is started. The self-propelled robot for rebar tying R will then move the rebar tying machine BD up and down while running on the running rebar LR, tying the intersection of the running rebar LR and the orthogonal rebar TR.
[0045] When the rebar tying machine BD reaches the bottom, the binding operation occurs, and at this time, the binding wire TW passing through the binding wire insertion guide 140 is pulled into the binding wire storage magazine MG, causing the binding wire supply reel WR attached to the mounting shaft 113 of the mounting rotary plate 112 of the reel mounting unit 110 to rotate forward together with the mounting rotary plate 112 and supply the binding wire TW.
[0046] When the binding operation is completed, the rebar binding machine BD returns to the top, but at this time, the mounting rotation plate 112 of the reel mounting unit 110 is restricted from reverse rotation by the one-way clutch 114, so the binding wire supply reel WR mounted on the mounting shaft 113 of the mounting rotation plate 112 is stopped and does not rotate.
[0047] Therefore, depending on the distance the rebar binding machine BD is raised, a slack will be created in the pulled-out binding wire TW, but this slack is absorbed by the binding wire insertion guide 140 as it deforms due to its flexibility and elasticity.
[0048] As described above, the binding wire supply system 100 for a reinforcing bar binding machine according to this embodiment includes a reel mounting unit 110 equipped with a binding wire supply reel WR that is installed near the reinforcing bar binding machine BD and supplies binding wire TW to the reinforcing bar binding machine BD, a binding wire adapter 120 that is equipped with an engaging protrusion and is placed against an introduction window provided in the binding wire storage magazine of the reinforcing bar binding machine from the outside of the binding wire storage magazine to introduce the binding wire TW supplied from the binding wire supply reel WR into the binding wire storage magazine MG of the reinforcing bar binding machine BD, and a fitting cutout that fits into the engaging protrusion of the binding wire adapter. The device is composed of an adapter fixing piece that has a notch and is positioned inside the binding wire storage magazine to fix the binding wire adapter to the binding wire storage magazine, and a binding wire insertion guide 140 that inserts and guides the binding wire TW from the reel attachment unit 110 to the binding wire adapter 120.This makes it possible to supply the binding wire TW from outside the rebar binding machine BD without having to modify the existing rebar binding machine, eliminating the need to change the reel inside the binding wire storage magazine MG, and allowing binding work to be carried out continuously for long periods of time without being restricted by the capacity of the binding wire storage magazine MG.
[0049] Furthermore, since the reel attachment unit 110 is equipped with a one-way clutch 114 as a reverse rotation prevention member, the binding wire TW that is once pulled out by the binding operation of the rebar binding machine BD does not rewind but remains as a slack portion, allowing the rebar binding machine BD to pull in the binding wire TW with little force, reducing power consumption and preventing damage to the equipment.
[0050] Furthermore, because the binding wire adapter 120 has a guide connection portion 122 for connecting the binding wire insertion guide 140, the binding wire TW guided through the binding wire insertion guide 140 is smoothly introduced into the binding wire storage magazine MG via the binding wire adapter 120, preventing the binding wire TW from "moving around." This allows the rebar tying machine BD to pull in the binding wire TW with little force, reducing power consumption and preventing damage to the equipment.
[0051] In addition, since the binding wire adapter 120 is equipped with an attachment base portion 121 that is attached and fixed to the binding wire storage magazine MG, and a binding wire introduction pipe portion 123 that obliquely passes through the attachment base portion 121, the binding wire TW introduced into the binding wire storage magazine MG via the binding wire adapter 120 moves smoothly and is supplied within the existing binding wire storage magazine MG without interfering with the dummy reel DM, thereby ensuring stable binding operation of the binding wire TW without having to modify the rebar binding machine BD.
[0052] Furthermore, since the binding wire introduction conduit section 123 opens obliquely toward the peripheral wall of the magazine at the conduit end section 124 within the binding wire storage magazine MG, the binding wire TW introduced into the binding wire storage magazine MG via the binding wire adapter 120 is smoothly directed and supplied along the peripheral wall of the magazine within the binding wire storage magazine MG, and the binding wire TW can be smoothly and stably supplied to the intersection of the reinforcing bars via the binding wire storage magazine MG.
[0053] Furthermore, since the binding wire insertion guide 140 is formed from a tightly-fitted coil spring through which the binding wire TW is inserted, the binding wire insertion guide 140 flexibly and elastically deforms when the binding wire TW is pulled into the rebar binding machine BD, so that the binding wire TW can be held without being bent or caught on surrounding objects, and can withstand friction when the binding wire TW is supplied.
