Method of testing the adhesion of cement adhesive mortar to the substrate and thermal insulation in ETICS insulation under laboratory conditions

Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of testing, under laboratory conditions, the adhesion of a cement adhesive mortar to the substrate and thermal insulation in ETICS insulation, a mortar connecting a substrate layer (1) made of a selected building wall material with a rigid thermal insulation layer (2), consisting in measuring the tearing force of these layers in test samples using the "pull-off" method, characterized in that the test samples are made on a carrier in the form of a rigid square thermal insulation plate (1), especially polystyrene, preferably with dimensions of 20x20x5 cm, on which - in a horizontal position and in the middle of their surface - the tested adhesive mortar (3) is applied, prepared according to its manufacturer's instructions, in a portion of a size selected so that when pressed to the substrate (1) to a thickness determined by spacer bumpers (g1, g2), it forms a cake (4) on the surface of the thermal insulation plate (2), preferably with a diameter of about 10 to 15 cm, and then the test samples are subjected to the following: appropriate activities.
